These guys are extremely professional. They took the time to explain everything both before and after work was done. Every time I have work done there I get the vibe that they genuinely enjoy doing right by their customers. I never once felt like I was being ripped off. They have short wait periods, a convenient drop off location, and fair prices.
I visit regularly because of our big family of cars and I just love these guys!
Jenski has helped me out several times when in a pinch. Getting me down the road in a very timely manner when I needed! Very professional service, and very friendly staff. This is my regular mechanic shop and will be in the future!
Quick, efficient, knowledgeable and very kind!
Trustworthy auto repair 👍
Super nice people. Squeezed me in for an alignment with little notice, I specifically asked for just a toe only alignment on the front wheels and they were more than happy to perform the work requested without hesitation. Owner was a nice guy and his wife was a pleasure to talk about our dogs. Ill know where to call first when I need some work done next time. Thanks again guys.
Would give them five stars because of everybodys recommendations. But worked on my daughters air conditioning and now the dial for the heat does not work and we have to take it back and get a part ordered $500 later. So my word would be questionable in some areas. Im not sure the air conditioning will be fixed?
Work well done at a fair price!
Just a great shop. One of the best in the Valley for any work you want done. High quality work, timely. Would recommend!
I trust Jenski Automotive with ALL of my vehicles! They are professional, reliable and efficient. Jenski Automotive is the clear choice for someone you can trust to keep you safely on the road!
Every time I go here the service is excellent and I always get a straight answer on what my issue is. Prompt to get you in and out. Would recommend and will definitely be bringing my vehicles here again should the need arise.
Always good quality work. They tell you the truth and dont try and sell you goods or service you dont need. Friendly professional staff.
Great job! Great people!
My family and I were recently driving through Palmer when our vehicle broke down. It was late Friday and no one else was willing to help. They stated, they don’t want to leave someone stranded and told us head over. They stopped what they were doing and quickly diagnosed and fixed our problem. Great staff! Thank you again from our whole family!
Im new to the area and picked Jenski, at first, because they were a fee dollars cheaper then others. I continue to bring them my business because of Bayli. She is very helpful and makes sure Im happy with the service. She gets my car in asap and double checks her work. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice and kept checking on me as I was using their free WI-FI in the lobby. They offer rides to and from, if needed, so I didnt have to wait there.
They know their stuff. I pretty much only take my vehicle to them. Pretty fast service and reliable and knowledgeable mechanics.
They fixed up my girlfriends car and did some amazing work.
Work is always done on time, and the staff is super friendly!
I am not a customer..yet, but after having a conversation with Randy earlier today, they have definitely won my business.I had been having issues with my vehicle and a CEL + diagnostic code that was not making sense for how the vehicle was behaving. I called around to several shops in the valley for quotes to get it checked out, and Randy was by far the most helpful and most real of any of the people I had talked to. I ended up clearing the code at home, and so far it has not come back (yay!) but next time my vehicles need anything that I cant handle at home, I know who Ill be calling!
Excellent customer service, family owned and operated, professional and reliable.
Can’t speak to their quality of work, because they won’t even give a ballpark idea of what you MIGHT be looking at before you bring the vehicle in and they charge you $100 to tell you.Called for a ballpark (NOT a quote) on a master clutch cylinder repair on a 1989 Honda Prelude, got the run around and then quoted “around $1000”. Called FATS in anchorage, “$250-300” right off.Called tonight to get an idea of a front end alignment on my wife’s car “we won’t quote a job without seeing the vehicle and that’s $75 to get a quote”. Called Midas a block away and boom, “$110ish for two wheels, $160ish for four”. I have an appointment at Midas now.Jenski seems to just want to rip off people for quotes, rather than doing anything to actually try and help customers. They’re off my list for places to call ever again, not worth the run around and headache.
Called in yesterday with our chevy van. Tony took it straight away to look at it. Honest fast and friendly service. If passing threw and had a problem wouldnt hesitate to call in again. Thanks jenski automotive!!
If this was the only place that worked on vehicles in Alaska then I would buy a horse.Extremely overpriced and tries to RIP everyone off. Took my vehicle to be fixed it only had a vacuum leak. 2 weeks and a $900.00 bill later and my vehicle is worse than when I left it.Avoid this place......
Yesterday, (Thursday 3/14/2019), I had an appointment for a 45k mile tuneup maintenance at Jenski’s.First, my appointment lasted from 8am - 1pm. No one, who has an appointment, should wait that long for a routine maintenance!Second, I wanted to do maintenance “by the book.” It’s my vehicle, which I bought new. It’s my choice. Yet, my choice in maintenance seemed like an inconvenience for the Jenski mechanic, who questioned doing “unnecessary” replacements. Eventually, he agreed but not without needless questions.Third, when I scheduled the appointment a few days prior, I told the desk worker that my vehicle requires special filters, and that, he needed to pre-order said filter(s). He treated me like I didn’t know what I was talking about and assured me there are plenty of parts stores nearby, if indeed the filter is special. GUESS WHAT, Jenski’s did NOT have the filter I told them they would need to pre-order. It was no where in the Valley but in Anchorage. The desk worker tried to blame this on the computer’s inventory.Fourth, it seemed like the Jenski front desk & mechanic did not want to go over the list of services at check out. It felt like they just wanted me to pay and go. I insisted they talk over the work, given their earlier mess ups and poor service. GUESS WHAT! The VERY FIRST item on the maintenance list I provided them (the owner’s manual) was to rotate the tires. It was NOT done! Also, they initially did not list out their 45k mile service checklist or status of milestone maintenance items, like remaining brake life and tire life on my receipt. Again, I had to insist they make notes of what had been done and status markers, so that I could verify.Fifth, WITHOUT asking me, the Jenski mechanic decided to put Sea Foam carburetor cleaner into my carburetor. Not only was this NOT called for by me or by the owners manual, but it would never be my preference. I would have said no, since it is not technically a fuel additive as the owner’s manual requires, and since I TOLD the front desk worker that I run 90 grade fuel (with Techron)... but I was stuck with the charge after the fact.At checkout, I was left with a $700+ BILL!!! That was after the removal of a charge for the rotation of tires. When I spoke with the owner, he apologized for all the poor service I’d received but said the bill was “very accurate.” He did not budge to make the Jenski reputation right.I told Mr. Jenski that I would pay his $700+ bill to keep up my end, but that, I WILL NOT RETURN!
I love supporting local businesses, but if you’re looking for a new mechanic, look elsewhere. Use MIDAS, use Mr. Lube in Wasilla, heck try to fix it using youtube!Randy, this is my only negative review ever! So mad that I have too! I even set up a google accout just to make the complaint! Not sure if your the owner, family member, or employee, but you dont represent the beautiful building your work in well.My initial over the phone experience with Jenski was positive. My daghters car would not start so we had it towed to Jenski, they had it for 1.5 days and retuned it after resyncing the keys for $260, tow included... thought, ok kind of expensive but ok...The next day her car would not start, called Jenski and they said have it towed, it will be covered under warranty, I thought, awesome, someone who cares about customer service!A full day later, they called and said it was a $35 dollar “crank sensor” and it will be $220! I asked about the warranty and they blamed me for trying to start the car when we had it at home, and that we caused a new problem. Angrily he said we will cover it, BUT WE NEVER WANT YOUR CAR HERE AGAIN! What, we NEVER want your car here again?!?!?! What about one of my families four OTHER cars?Dont worry, it wont ever be there again, and I cant wait to tell anyone looking for a mechanic where NOT to go!
Went in and asked if someone could come here a noise that was coming from my car and give me even an idea of what it was and they refused had to make an appointment for almost a week out. Extremely poor customer service will not consider them for business ever
Great work, excellent service, friendly staff
Great Service, Beautiful Shop!
Staff is great! A great family business!
Hmmmm. How much can you damn a place for a single mistake? Does a single mistake require being immortalized on the internet for all time?Jenski, this is your second chance.
Awesome
