Who knew getting your windshield replaced could be a pleasant experience?! This place has great customer service! Friendly & courteous staff. They kept me informed throughout the process. The wifi password is clearly displayed so you can work or entertain yourself while waiting. Clean waiting area. I would definitely go here again if I need auto glass repairs again.
Thought getting my windshield would be a very simple easy in and out task. But it turned into a nightmare very quickly. Won’t go into all the details to long of a story. But the lady at the front desk did eventually get the issue resolved. In my opinion the tech working on my vehicle is just lazy and was using nit picking corporate policies to try and get out of working on a larger vehicle. I got the original issue fixed that he said was the problem. But when I brought the truck back an hr later he still refused to do the job.

I am deployed and my wife has called 3 times to have someone come out to repair the windshield. Her availability is between 8-12. She has clearly stated she needs morning and yet either they call at noon to say they are on their way or do not have someone to come out at the scheduled time.
Our window was installed sooner than expected. Employees were extremely polite. They practiced social distancing and wore masks.
I received outstanding service and a quality windshield at Panama City Safelite. They greeted me at the door by name and immediately took the vehicle to get the windshield replaced. The whole process took 45 minutes. The only con to their process is that they do not publish their phone number online. The phone number that is online is one of Safelites many answering services throughout the states. However, when you arrive at Panama City safelite, the reception offers you a business card with their name and their actual business number.
Jodey was on time, communicated on the way so that when he pulled in at work I just met him with the key and signed the paperwork. In an hour he called and I stepped out to get the key and admire my new windshield. I’ve never seen one so clean. Sadly he said no when I asked if I could call him to clean it again when it got dirty. Oh well, 5 stars anyway.

First off I have never had such difficulty dealing with a company. In the end it was so difficult dealing with their automated call system that I never got the same person twice. The staff was professional but incompetent when it came to delivering services or scheduling an appointment in the right city. I would call back to correct and get yet a different service provider over and over. I will never use this company.

The technician was very polite and attentive.The front office people were a bit inattentive. The nearest decent restaurant is 1.8 miles one way from this location. They should have offered me a ride rather than let me walk there during the 2 hour appointment.I havent driven the car long enough to determine if the realignment is working right yet or not. Its guaranteed to work. But, its 60 miles one way to get there from my house.
I had a chip in my windshield and was hoping to get it fixed with the resin but I need a new windshield and the ladies here were very helpful in rescheduling my appointment!! I will come back here again if I ever need any replacements of my windows!!!
Tech was nice but he brought me my keys into my office and left saying he was done. 15 minutes later a coworker called me and said she just left the parking lot and my car door was open. He has left both doors unlocked and the driver side open. Fortunately, nothing was stolen out of the car.
Due to high cost of replacing windshield, my out of town dealership decided I needed to bring it to them.
The biggest problem is you cant reach the local shop! Even if you call the local number listed on Google and the local number they give you on the 1-800 number it just automatically forwards you to the 800 number and you cant manage to ever talk to a real person at the local location. I dont know if it is just an issue with the East Ave Panama City FL location or if it is a problem across the board.

My appointment was for a Wensday but they managed to get me in on 2 days sooner. The entire staff was very nice and very helpful.
So this is the second time in a year that Ive used Safelite to replace Auto Glass on my cars. The first time I ended up with a chip in my windshield in which they did give me free windshield wiper blades for. This time they were supposed to come on Saturday to fix my windshield however I never heard from anyone and as of 11 a.m. when I contacted Safelite they were unable to reach the technician. I sat all day Saturday waiting until mid-afternoon so I finally had to reschedule for Tuesday. Now Ill be waiting again to get this windshield fixed. I appreciate that Safelite works with my insurance company and makes it easy to schedule however Ive had two negative things that have gone on so far with Safelite. Im hoping tomorrow there are no issues and my windshield gets replaced.
Ive had to have them come out several times but that isnt their fault, my van is very high up, its a two man job. Ive had my windshield replaced twice and theyve done well all on all both times. This last time the tech recommended us to go to the shop, and it worked much better, as two techs could handle the job.

When I had my windshield replaced, the rubber/chrome stripping that extends the whole length of my car was removed and when it was replaced, it was damaged. I called Geico and they confirmed the stripping is covered in the claim. Geico called the shop and explained the coverage, then transferred my call to the shop. I explained the rubber stripping to a simple person on the other line and she said she would send someone out in a few days. When the tech showed up, he was confused ... he showed up to fix my stress crack in the windshield ... uh? Then, he was dumbfounded as to why I would claim a stress crack on an un-cracked windshield ... (maybe he should talk to his receptionist). The tech couldnt do anything about the stripping as the shop doesnt fix these; he took pictures, called his boss and said hed get back to me in a few days. Over a week goes by and not a word. I called Geico AGAIN, they put me through to the shop manager and I had to explain the whole situation all over! The manger asked me to text him some photos, I did. He said they dont cover the rubber stripping as Geico only pays the windshield; he said he would look into the issue and get back with me. Again, over a week goes by and not a word. I called Geico AGAIN, since the claims rep. could see how many times Ive tried to resolve this, she called the shop to find out why my damages were not fixed even though they are included on the claim. Apparently, my damages were forgotten about ... the manager said he will order the parts that are covered in the claim and send someone out to fix the damages ... it gets better ... I have to wait AGAIN!!! .... SMH ... this is ridiculous -

They took my windshield out and refused to replace it tried to leave me with no windshield at all. The prior windshield was cracked from a rock. How are you gonna take someones windshield out and not put one back in. The guy did leave my old windshield but now i got to get out there and put it in myself. Bad buisness. Wont ever use them again. And people beware you can wind up in the same situation.not only that they also billed my debit card for the total cost of replacing my windshield. Yet i have no windshield. And now cant afford to get one because of them taking money from my account and leaving me with no vehicle. And there is no rust whatsoever around the windshield or anywhere on the truck. So whats your excuse now? Promise you i have pictures of it and also the way it was left tore apart with parts under the hood on top of truck and he even left his ratchet under the hood. I will be sending you a bill for everything damaged because of no windshield being in the truck. And also for work missed because of the actions of your company. You had no buisness deducting the money especially when i didnt get a windshield. No rust buddy once again no rust anywhere. Policy is if your not going to fix what you remove then dont remove it. And you violated my policy. And after the fact deducted from my account. That sir is theft. No matter what policy you claim. Done wasting my time with this. Whats your automated response to that?
We scheduled an appointment between 12 to 5 but then rescheduled it for between 8 to 12. We received a text confirming the new time. As of now, the technician is 40 minutes late. We have called twice and been told we were an add-on...and still have no estimated time of arrival for the technician. It seems reasonable that if the technician couldnt make the scheduled time slot, we would be notified in advance.Customer service is severely lacking.
Very professional crew and they explained everything to you that needs to be done. They also asked you if you would like them to change your wiper blades before just doing it and you having an unexpected charge. Very satisfied with them and their work. I had very quick service and everyone was helpful and friendly. I was in and out in under an hour (granted, depending on what service you’re getting, this will change) and on my way. The store is a little bit dull but they’re cleaning up after the hurricane so it’s not a big deal. Timely, helpful, and warm workers here – I even came in early and they could take me. Get your glass fixed here!

The technician never showed up. Attempted to find out where they were and received a recording. Called the home office and they said they couldnt help me. Screwed up my schedule badly. Lied about showing up. There were three people home all day waiting for them to show. Got appointment shoved four days down the road. No longer a satellite customer after twenty years.

They came out and installed wrong size glass and they never called me back. It’s been like jumping through glass for them to fix it! Still not fixed! Use someone else! Updated. Someone finally came out two weeks later but I had to keep calling them to remind them to come out. Then we attempted this store to come out and repair another Van Glass. This store has now cancelled our call 3 times due to not enough staff or someone called out sick and we have to call them to reschedule. Im done begging to be serviced. I am having Pensacola Safelite to service us.

Friendly professional in shop experience on (01/24/18) from an appointment reminder courtesy call to my departure. The moment I exited my vehicle I was greeted. Everything was explained in detail and was made to feel comfortable while waiting. Technician Preston was great, also another technician there as well, however I apologize for not being able to remember his name.
Service is good. Cannot stand that it takes over there minutes to get to.speak to a customer service rep and there is no way to call the local shop. Because of this I am going to find another company that does windshield repair even tho Safelite put it in. Very frustrating having to listen to all the things that do not apply just to get to a generic rep.
The techs did a terrible job, one corner of the molding is lifted and one side is twisted, and also tossed the OEM rear view mirror that was panoramic and replaced it with a cheaper rear view mirror; I showed this to the manager and he has the balls to tell me the installation is fine and that was just a COSMETIC issue. Of course its a cosmetic issue, I paid to get the windshield that had a crack on it replaced because it made the vehicle looked bad (thats the definition of cosmetic if you Safelite didnt know or are pretending you dont understand English), I am aware the vehicle is not going to look brand new, but at least it was supposed to look good. Hack job, I hired you guys because of the reviews and your warranty, if I needed a hack job I wouldve gone for another shop that charges much less for the same job. I would leave zero stars if I could.

Ordered glass for 2 trucks. Told them exactly what was wrong. Nice tech shows at the wrong time. I said 12-5. Specifically because its the only day my husband can sleep in. Tech calls at 7:45am while we were sleeping. *again, not his fault, but the scheduler).So first disappointment - one glass broke in shipping so they cant fix one truck. Seconds disappointment, if we find any rust after I pop it out, Im not allowed to pop it back in. What?? Okay nevermind, just do the back glass. Oh I dont have the right tools. You have to bring it to the shop. So I said just schedule the other truck for next Saturday when the glass comes back in. Hopefully it wont be broken this time. He said youre good to go, made sure it will be 12-5 next Saturday. So I have been waiting for a tech today and guess what... youre not on the schedule. I cant even. Glass Doctor in Niceville did a great job for us.

I went to to the Panama city office where they replace my windshield had to take my car back they left off some stuff that goes on my car talk to the manager and he told me thats something they wuld nt do he was arguing me down about so finally he look at the pictures they take before they do there work and the pieces was there so now hes shock to see I was telling the truth about they left it off. They was supposed to fix it the next following week I never heard from them 2 weeks past by I called them back to see why I hvnt heard from them they (Justin ) nothing to this matter that it wasnt showing no wrk order for them to fix there mistake and that i never been to there shop luckily the lady from customer service was still on the phone to hear this so she spoke up and said yes he did he made report on Jan 2 about the problem he was in disbelief now thanks to customer service lady Evett I appreciate what she done I finally got my car fix after 3 1/2 weeks I dont give them no stars
I broke back windshield yesterday afternoon, I called Safelite and scheduled and appointment right after it happened. By 10am the next morning I already have my back glass repaired on my Dodge Journey. Staff was very polite and they got it finished so quickly.

Such an easy way to do this!Used my GEICO app to file claim.for windshield damage. Appointment was made and work was done all within the same three hours. My technician was Long and he was curteous and professional.He explained the work he was going to do and how long it would take. It took even less than that and the repair looked perfect. I am completely happy with this experience.
I used them to replace a window in my vehicle & the entire experience was exceptional. After driving to the location for the scheduled appointment & the rep telling me they had the wrong window, they were able to accommodate my schedule & drive to my work, fixing my window in the rain, & instantly calling to order a part during the end of the service - each person had a sense of urgency that matched mine which made me feel good about the entire experience.

The actual service I received at the local Safelite location was good. The gentlemen servicing my vehicle were nice and completed the service quickly. I booked my appointment through the toll free service line and the gentleman that helped me was fast and attentive. Later that day I received 3 DIFFERENT phone calls confirming my appointment. The next day, the day my appointment was scheduled, I was called to confirm AGAIN. This time the call was prior to 8am, waking me up when I was trying to sleep in. THEN about an hour before my appointment the local location called to tell me they could service my vehicle early, interrupting my family breakfast. We dropped the car off early and even though the actual replacement was easy, the number of phone calls had me on the verge of canceling. My frustration has me reconsidering Safelite for glass needs on future vehicles. I appreciate that my windshield is warrantied as long as I own the vehicle, as it should be with the high cost of replacement, but the confirmation calls are a nuisance.

Safelight Auto Glass is amazing. They gave me a four hour window that they would be out on a certain day. I got a email that morning with a photo of the tech who would be out and his information. After I got an email I got a call shortly after telling me what time he would be out. He was out within two hours. Jason Lowrey was his name and he did everything so quick and professional. I would definitely recommend him to do your work in Panama City, Fl.Thank you Jason for your professionalism and time.

Alright, lets start off positive here... Every Safelight employee I dealt with was very friendly and professional, which is great!Now is where we go downhill...I had a chip in the windshield and called for mobile service repair. Appointment window came and went, never heard from anyone. The next day the chip had turned into a full-on crack; oh well, now it needs to be replaced, but thats what insurance is for. I have an appointment (in-store), drop off my car in the morning, pick it up in the afternoon, everythings good, everyones happy. This is a car I only drive 1-2 times per week, so it takes me a bit to notice that my windshield washers no longer work. I call, and get a mobile technician to come to my work; luckily I was staying late that day because he showed up 15 minutes after the appointment window, but, he takes things apart, finds a pinched hose, reassembles and its all good. I go to leave work a couple hours later, and bam, theres a crack at the bottom of the window. I call, they say they need to verify its a pressure crack, fine, whatever, send someone to look at it... Around noon I get a call saying they dont have anyone who can come look at it and ask if I can bring it in; I tell him I dont really have time, and ask if I can send a picture (duh?), he agrees, I send picture, and he schedules me for an in-store the same day (yay! - it sounds like sarcasm, but I was actually happy about this). I come in for their last appointment of the day, windshield replaced, and EyeSight (collision avoidance) cameras calibrated. I go to leave, and notice the EyeSight is disabled, I ask, and am told that I need to get up to 40mph and it will reset (dont recall this from the last time, but okay...) So I leave, and of course PC traffic it takes me a bit to get up to any reasonable speed, but nothing resets, EyeSight still disabled. Its 6pm so the store is closed, I call the 800 number and talk to a very nice rep, she transfers me to customer care, which the proceeds to be a message saying something like this line has not been setup but lets me leave a message. I leave a very sarcastic message (assuming no one will ever hear it anyway), and call back. Next rep gets in touch with the managers manager and Im told an email is being sent (ooh, scary). Anyway, I go in the next morning, express some frustration to the manager (who apparently didnt get the email), they run through the calibration again and everything is happy.So, heres the stats:Number of visits: 4Windshields replaced: 2Hours wasted: 7Miles driven: ~120Productivity at work lost: A LOT!Deductible paid: $500Insurance billed: $600Concessions given by Safelight for my time/traveling/frustration: Zero*Edit - So, turns out even after the second windshield replacement, and second calibration, things STILL werent right! Apparently Safelight techs dont understand proper windshield wiper placement. So, rewinding to when the Safelight tech came to my workplace for the pinched hose, I watched him reinstalling my wipers and REPEATEDLY told him they were too low on the windshield, finally got him to place properly (prior to the second cracked windshield); well, I guess my last visits tech have the same lack of understanding, which caused the wiper to stop about 4 degrees prior to vertical, conveniently obstructing my field of vision... Took my car to a dealer to finally get it fixed properly.

Although the guy was very nice and did his job, he messed my vehicle up in the meantime. I will NEVER depend on safe lite again!!!! There was pieces of glass all in my car. Everywhere, we have pictures to show, and also where he messed up our windshield whipper blades, and shardes of glass that has messed my window tint up. Not only this, but the glass cut me because we couldnt tell it was in the seat. Im very unsatisfied. I would rate it negative if I could!!!! We will be going to the store first thing in the morning.

First appointment the new windshield was broken so had to order another one. Then that one got lost so had to reschedule agsin. Then they installed the trimmed outside pieces wrong and I have to go back again to have it fixed. Guys were nice and friendly. I will use them for my next 5 vehicles that need windshield replaced with new wipers is a must have.

In need of glass replacement for your auto. Do not call SAFELITE. Unprofessional, dont have a clue what the right or left hand is doing. Over a week ago I made an appointment to have 2 of our semi windshields replaced. The appointment was set for Friday March 16, 2018 first being at 2:30 the second at 4. I receive a call friday morning 8:00 a.m.from Josh branch in panama city, fl. the order had some red flags. What is the problem. Well first of all you we have three tickets for you. 2 navistar and one pete. No that is not right 1 navistar and one pete. And your appointment time in panama is 2:30 p.m. No that is not right the pete has no current tag and the navistar is working and why would you be charging me mobile service of 39.95 per truck if I had scheduled for Panama City. Josh says I will try and straighten this out will call you back. After lunch I called Panama city back and spoke with Justin. He preside to tell me he doesnt know what is going on but will have Josh call me. At 2:30 Josh calls to tell me that the tech is going to be there at 3:00. I tell him well my truck is on the way to Panama mill since I havent heard from you, he wil be there at 3:00 so I call my driver turned him around which cost me 300.00 and brought him to the yard. In the meantime I speak to corp. and his name was Tommy. Tommy is apologizing for all the terminal. Not only am I losing money, but Ronald is on my ass about all of this. Tommy assures me they will make it right. and will call me back. Again I havent heard from Tommy. The tech is the only pleasure he too was apologizing. The Navistar got a new windshield but in putting the windshield in the Pete, the gaskets were broken and could not be installed. So the tech rescheduled it was March 20. This morning I get a call from Justin. To confirm my March 20 appt and tell me a collective amount was due for 420.00 REALLY. Now keep in mind. the amounts set on the phone were 224.00 for Navistar which they have already deducted from our bank account. and the pete was 213.00. I said you know Justin this has been a nightmare since the first phone call. Not only have you costed me money. but now you are trying to hose me. and nobody has called back that said they would. You have piss poor customer service. and i have been patiently waiting for those phone calls to make it right for the hell you have put me through.

Mr King took day off work to have windshield installed because his job does not allow visitors. They brought wrong windshield. VIN should help with windshield variations. Second day off work and a week later windshield was damaged when tech arrived. Third day off work and another week has passed and he gets a call that no tech is available. 3 days of hourly wage lost and all he gets is our other techs are busy so...Mr King will never use safelite again.Glass Doctor to the rescue
I locked myself out of my old Toyota PU and broke in by removing the fixed window behind the door. I drove to SafeLite and inquired about having them re-install it. To my astonishment, they quoted $225. Id had the window installed before and knew it only required about 5 minutes of labor with the proper tools.I drove back to Blountstown and asked the mechanic at Mears Junkyard to install it. He immediately stopped working on an engine and re-installed the glass. It took him twice as long because he didnt have the proper tools. When I asked for the bill, he said No Charge. Of course I paid him and then told him how much SafeLite quoted. He too, was astounded by their ridiculous quote.BUYER BEWARE at SafeLite.
