For as busy as it was things went fairly smoothly. Everyone was very friendly and professional. The only thing I would recommend is that when there is going to be a wait time of over 20 minutes someone should just take a minute and communicate that to the customer. We actually made a trip to the office after about 27 minutes to see if we had been forgotten. Other than that, like I said for as crazy busy as it was, everything went really well.

I bought a car recently from this store and it stopped working a couple days later. No only was it hard to get a hold of the service department, but once I finally did they got my car towed and didn’t offer me anything else to drive. They have now had the car for 5 days and I haven’t heard anything, and I can’t even get a hold of the service department. I have left voicemails, called the sales dept. and also left a message with the service manager, nothing. I have no car to get anywhere and no way to know anything. I am beyond annoyed and upset.

I am going to keep this short and sweet. I was able to find exactly the vehicle/package I wanted in TX and CarMax brought it to Denver at no charge due it being a 4X4 with no commitment necessary. The truck was exactly as it stated online and in better condition that I had hoped for in a used truck! The sale was easy, my trade in went smooth, and the customer service has been more than I could have ever hoped for. We need a new SUV for my wife and I will without a doubt be sticking with this company. Best vehicle buying experience I have ever had.

Experience was great. I took off a star because the staff was not very proactive in pushing the paperwork. I had to actively go back to check status on my vehicle to get things moving, otherwise I wouldve been waiting for much longer. Otherwise everything else was fantastic.

The approval process was quick and amazing. The problem was if you live in Colorado, I would not recommend getting a car shipped. I was told it would take fourteen to twenty days for the car to ship. I got no notification that the car finally made it. I just happened to call and they told me the car made it, but could not be sold to me bc of a title issue. Apparently, Colorado requires different things on the title. So, after waiting 20 days, I still had no car. I ended up having to get something completely different (but local) than I wanted, so I could go pick it up the same day. I left extremely disappointed. The service at the Parker location was fast once the determination was made that they couldn’t sell the car, though. I had a car at my house two hours later.

This was a really good experience I brought in my car they tested it did what they had to do took a little over an hour then they gave me an official quote for the price of my car I was more than satisfied considering the dealership that I just bought my new vehicle from offered me only one third of the value of what CarMax gave me! When checking Edmunds car value my wife got the CM offer. I was doubtful it was real. We took it to CM dealer in Parker CO and they provided their offer. It was identical! We came back two days later and the sale closing took only 15 minutes. Everyone we dealt with were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I am 78 years old and this was undoubtedly the best experience ever. This is the last car I intend to buy. Thank you Car Max !!

Overall a decent experience. Most cars on the lot were unavailable, which was unfortunate. I made an appointment, arrived on time and still had to wait over an hour to be seen and that was frustrating. Once the process was started though, everything else went fairly smoothly. The employees were all very helpful and kind.

I showed up to carmax with an offer that was given online and they came back $6000 below the offer. I was a bit disappointed and when I asked why I was given a small list of things but nothing major. They refused to give anymore money. Aldo, it was as timely as I expected I kept needed to go up and ask for support. Overall it was okay.

This has been the best experience I have had anywhere. Esper in the car service department has gone above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of when my car had problems. From calling me with updates to ensuring I was not without a vehicle. I cant express the appreciation I have for him doing so. All anybody wants is to be recognized and kept in the loop. This is my first purchase at a Carmax dealership. I was incredibly pleased with the experience.The process was such a breeze. I searched for cars online, found a couple and then went to look in person. I test drove a couple cars. They held on to one for me for a few days. At no point did I feel pressured into doing anything I didnt want to.The actual sit down and purchase of the car was such a 180° turn from what I am used to. No tactics, no sales pitch, again no pressure. I was happy with the comparable price and after some paperwork, that was it. I didnt waste half a Saturday at a dealership getting a run around.If you get a chance, ask for Mike Pratt at the Parker dealership. He took great care of me.

Better than bad but far from great. This was my first experience with CarMax and for the most part, they deliver on the promise. Pick your ride, show up, drive it, and buy it if you like. The online experience is fairly seamless and when what you want arrives, jump on it quickly. Im not going to begrudge the price because theyre everything is more expensive than it should be — I get that. Once we settled on a new car (Lexus GX) we financed there and filled out the paperwork. From beginning to end, the process took about two hours, which was nice. The aftersales? Meh. The bow picture you see everyone with the car? We didnt get that. Our sales guy said he was too busy. Want a clean car when you pick it up? We didnt get that. Hertz cleans the cheap rentals better. Had to spend a few hundred bucks on a detail. Our Lexus had tires from WalMart on it, which I imagine was a way to save cash on OEM tires. Whats worse, the tires werent balanced at all, which I was relatively peeved about. At 60 mph, our new car was a paint shaker. I paid a few more bucks (on top of the detail) to have the tires balanced and called this CarMax to tell them they put unbalanced tires on my car. No callback, not yet at least.Long story short? Buy the car. Maybe dont expect a lot more?(I hope not because I opted if for the MaxCare.)

CarMax is wonderful. Their website is easy to navigate, their sales model doesnt include pricing shell games, and the salesmans role is to assist you in your decision rather than to sell you. With CarMax, all of the information is posted online and there is no need for a negotiation. The price is the price and the vehicle is the vehicle - nothing is hidden. I am confident I got a fair deal. My warranty eases my mind, and I love my new car.

Our sales rep was super unreliable with his communication. The car delivery was delayed by a week, which was not communicated to us. We showed up AGAIN a week later for our appointment, 40 minutes after check-in we have neither seen nor heard from our rep, not even to let us know he was running behind. Jeep had damage to the hardtop that was not mentioned in the listing, the undercarriage was very rusty, and the previous owner had clearly smoked in the vehicle. At that point we just cancelled the appointment and will be taking our business elsewhere.

I normally love CarMax, but this last purchase was a major hassle and the customer service I have come to expect with CarMax was definitely lacking. I spent a few hours on hold because no one was answering phones, no one would get back about messages, and when I went in to purchase the car, there was a definite lack of care and personal attention. It very much felt as if they were doing as little as possible to work with me and talk with me as a person. Not sure if I would go back if this is going to be the new status quo for CarMax. Plus the car I bought was definitely not cleaned and ready to previous standards, despite the fact that it had allegedly been put through the cleaning process at two CarMax locations.

SELLERS BEWARE! Went to CarMax to sell my car and they gave me a fair to good price for the car. Decided to sleep on it and came back a day later to make the sale. When I went to sign the paperwork to sell the vehicle, the negative equity I had in the car magically increased by $50 over what I was quote an hour prior to signing the paperwork. Prior to coming back to CarMax, I had received a 10 day payoff amount from my lender with a price of $2.46 per day after for everyday after the 10 days. When I challenged CarMax about the additional $50, they told me it was the additional amount quoted by my bank for adding 12 additional days to the payoff quote (i.e. 12 additional days after the the 10 day payoff). I am not the smartest person in the world, but $2.46 per day times 12 days does not equal $50 (its $29.52). When I questioned Jimmy, the person handling my paperwork, about the difference, he looked at me and asked me if I wanted to sell the car or not, rather than actually explaining where the $50 really came from. When I stated that the math didnt add up, he barked at me and said that he wasnt IGNORANT and again asked if I wanted to sell the car or not. $50 is not that big of a deal in the end, but the lies and piss poor customer service ruined this experience. I hope CarMax and Jimmy are happy with the extra $50 they made, as they have LOST a customer for life over that $50!

I was called once the vehicle came in. The car was FILTHY! Inside and out and this was after they already cleaned it. I asked to come back the following day to give them time to service it. They said the window was left open during the transport here from Michigan. The car had a ding chipped and also interior pieces falling down. It seemed like they really needed me to come down to do my trade in instead of prepping the car. I should’ve taken the offer of them paying $100 for a detail. I honestly was very turned off by the lack of their presentation. They gave me a decent trade in and it was the vehicle I wanted. The service was ok…at best

Ive sold and bought vehicles at this location multiple times and dont have anything bad to say. The times during COVID were nice. Everything was even more efficient and stress-free. I wish the service shop was open on Saturdays, but other than that, everything is as expected.

Im giving 5 stars to the Parker, CO location, I had a wonderful experience buying a car from there and I recommend going there for your next vehicle purchase. With that being said, I went into the Littleton location on Broadway today 6/21, and received customer service you would expect from employees who hates their job at burger king. Hopefully Sierra and Katrina -the manger by the way- of the business office receive much needed customer service training and new attitudes. With that out of the way, I will say Terri, of the business office, was an absolute delight and had the energy of a saint. Hey CarMax in Littleton! Make Terri the manager of the business office.

I scheduled an appointment to come look at a vehicle at 5:30 PM, worried I wouldnt beat traffic I had to leave work early. Associate at front desk told me the car was on hold for me and someone would be with me shortly. Only an hour later I had to come up myself to the front desk to get someone to get paperwork going for my reserved test drive. After 20 minutes of paperwork the associate said he would go fill up the car for me to take home for a 24 hour test drive. Turns out the vehicle was taken on a truck to Loveland and they didnt have it there. No one called me to inform me of this and I had actually called on my way there to make sure the car wasnt sold, I was assured it was there. Extremely unprofessional and a waste of time.

[Read to the end[ Ive never used an online car buying/selling service before. I found a car I was interested in at Carmax. After going to see the car, I decided Id like to buy it. It was a reasonable price and the car appeared in good condition. The addition of a buyers warranty made it feel even safer. The purchase experience was painless. I did it at the store in about an hour. I then drove home(in my old car) and my new car was delivered to me. Another half hour of paperwork/inspection at home and the car was mine. Ill definitely consider this in the future since it was so painless. Two months later, Carmax has still not sent the paperwork to my bank to get paid which means I cant register the car permanently. I had to ride them for about three weeks to get them to send the paperwork to my bank. It was a total pain and I had to reapply for my loan, incurring a new credit application fee.

Very easy to work with and very friendly. Everything is straight forward and up front. Missy is a great salesperson to work with and Andrew in the business office is very helpful and friendly with all the paperwork. They estimated 21 days to have a car transported from out of state, but it was here in under a week! They are working with my credit union of choice and they cover everything up front for 3 days until the credit union can take over the loan. I am very pleased and would get future vehicles here. Their warranty terms are also the most flexible Ive seen.

Bought a car in October. Have yet to be able to get my plates and registration 9 months later. Constantly having to get and pay out of pocket for temp tags every month.Talked to multiple staff who say theyll keep me updated to see where the title is but have yet to get any answers. Was told its in another state, then its in CO Springs, then its missing again.. Wait about 30mins+ to even get through on the phones and even then theyll say well call you back. Customer service is the worst. One of their salesmen have told me this happens a lot where theyll sell cars without making sure the titles are clear beforehand. Horrible service from every staff Ive met- not a single one has kept their word. Buyers beware.

I was generally pleased with my car-buying experience with Parker CarMax. I was able to trade in 2 cars and purchase one. The trade-in value for one car was rather low, but it met my minimum requirements (note: nothing is negotiable @ CarMax). Even though my loan was pre-approved @ my bank, the process of sending the purchase agreement was very slow. Ultimately, we were forced to physically fax the purchase agreement and wait for a fax to be returned. There appeared to be no digital process, which was odd & frustrating. The entire purchase process took 5 hours, which seemed excessive. I would buy again, but will vet the purchase process before I begin.

I have purchased two cars from Carmax & even worked at Carmax for a bit. Have always had a great experience until being racially profiled by Jaden Johnson at Carmax in Parker. Again, having purchased two cars from Carmax before, even having worked for the company in the past, I found it odd that the sales guy was adamant about having us test drive a car on a 20 minute timer. (Not to mention that he was initially not enthused about providing customer service to us, so we sat around for 30 minutes until we finally asked why a test drive was taking so long on a car that was previously reserved & shipped for us.) Before the test drive, he made sure to let two people of color know that the timer will start as soon as we leave that lot & that he will give us a call during the test drive “in case anything happens.” Got back from the test drive in record time to prove to Jaden that we were not trying to steal his precious used vehicles. Of course, he made sure to tell us that the purpose of the timer is to deter theft, a policy that has supposedly been around since October 2020… I bought a car in February 2021 & was not treated like a criminal suspect. When I worked sales for Carmax, I never made my clients feel like thieves. Imagine going to a used car dealership & being told over & over that you only have 20 minutes to test drive & that you will be getting phone calls IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TEST DRIVE. Two cars from Carmax PLUS employment there & NEVER felt this much discomfort. The sales kid also spoke over me constantly, not letting me get a word in about this new “policy” that is only enforced on black & brown people or in his own words “enforced depending on manager…” which I interpreted as “enforced depending on customer.” Long story short, if you are a person of color & want to be comfortable during your car purchase, avoid Jaden Johnson. (By the way, he never called his manager over after asking to speak with him about this timer policy.) We ended up buying the car that same day, unfortunately, since our original sales guy, Mark, was off work but to be fair, Jaden’s demeanor changed drastically after scrolling through our finances… all of a sudden he seemed stoked to sell us a car. I guess he just needed to confirm that we could indeed afford to buy a used vehicle from Carmax.

Bare with me as the beginning sounds bad. I found the right vehicle at the Colorado Springs location. Usual hours in the dealership going through the motions. Finished up and had to drive home in a snow storm. Next morning the car breaks down. Contacted this Parker location and advised of the situation. Immediately had a tow and off in a loaner in less than 30 min. Made repairs that took about two weeks. Day after getting the car back it breaks down again. New problem... Clearly this car had a lot of issues that nobody knew about. Shame on the springs location for selling it. Did a better inspection and found a laundry list of issues. Once presented, everyone at the Parker location rallied behind Larry the GM. Olivia, Bill(William, yup I spotted your full name young man), Lucio, and a few others. Im sorry I cant remember their names in the service department, but you guys rock too! Advised he would ensure the repairs were done and the vehicle would be sound. He knew there could be some unforseen issues so he advised looking for a replacement just in case. Regardless of what happened with the broken one, they would accommodate me any way I decided. We found the same vehicle in great condition and they had it shipped in a few days. That was pretty impressive. Arrived about the same time the repairs were done. Decided after all the issues with the first one, that I would take the replacement. Few hours later they completed the return, handled the changes with the finance company and I ended up with the same make and model vehicle, but in much better condition for an even better price. If you need a car, head here. Nobody can guarantee a used car wont have an issue, but you can be sure that if there are any issues, they will take care of you and make sure you are satisfied. Loved it!! So, NOT your usual used car buying experience. No BS, no high pressure sales. Just straight up. My salesperson was relatively new so the one question I had about fwdbin the snow she asked someone else. I was extremely pleased with the whole experience. I will probably go back any/every time I need a vehicle and refer friends and family!!!

My husband and I recently bought an SUV from CarMax Parker and already had issues the day after. Weve purchased two cars previously from CarMax at a different location and were very pleased. This experience was very disappointing this time around as they clearly didnt inspect the vehicle. The whole washer fluid system doesnt work and has gunk/mold inside. The woman who helped us with the sale was very helpful and friendly. Just dont know how they can get away with selling a vehicle at the prices they do without checking to make sure the essentials are working. Cant be driving around without washer fluid. We called to get this fixed/looked at and kept getting transferred around. Didnt seem like anyone wanted to help us and make sure we were taken care of. We finally have the car getting looked at in an auto body shop but this should not be happening right after you purchase their inspected vehicle up to their standards. I would recommend CarMax before, but not after this bad experience. Thankfully you have the 90 day (which everything is booked out a couple of weeks) warranty, but for the advertised condition and inspection done on the car, this is unacceptable.

My Car Purchase experience was FABULOUS and I want to thank Danielle Moore she is Awesome and I will purchase another car through her, however when I was signing the paperwork the Carmax representative named Charles told me a GPS tracking on my car because I previously told him that a Subaru forester was stolen from me July 22, 2020 and I receive My new car Hyundai sonata 2018 July 24, 2020 and when I was going to work August 22, 2020 it was stolen my brand new Hyundai Sonata and when I went to investigate it or try to find it with the GPS tracker that I was told I was on my car I found out Charles Lied to me, There is no GPS tracking on my car and my car has been stolen and I’m without my car but I have insurance which is through root and they are a fabulous insurance company. A big fabulous thumbs up for Daniel more and a big fabulous thumbs down with Charles not so honest about the GPS but I will be back to Carmax thanks to Danielle Moore.

We are so disappointed and by far the worst car buying experience thus far. Carmax put a WRONG mileage on their website, and after calling to confirm it only had 5k miles on it because it seems to good to be true they verified the mileage! ( after being on hold for awhile) We went into the store after we got our financing done, our rep Cory confirmed the 5,000 miles as well, and went through the Auto Check, he explained that sometimes larger vehicles come in with low mileage so at that point we were confident. After waiting 45 minutes for this vehicle to be pulled up since it just became available he came inside to tell us that the vehicle actually had almost 50,000 miles on it! They didn’t apologize, and don’t seem to want to make this right as they were to call today.

I purchased my car on Sat., Jan 23, 2021 from CarMax in Parker, Colorado. Im very pleased with the car, but the purchasing and follow-up experiences left a lot to be desired. And I do mean a LOT! As promised, they had the car ready at curbside when we got there. However, it took almost another 3 hours for them to actually get the paperwork done even though wed provided our info ahead of time and we were assured that we could do curbside delivery and be out of there in less than an hour. To make matters worse, Ive now had the car for over four months and they have yet to get the paperwork and taxes filed correctly with the DMV!! Due to COVID, its understandable that it took the DMV two months to process the original paperwork and determine that CarMax did not collect the taxes properly -- they rejected the docs and notified CarMax on Thurs., 3/25/2021. As my temp tags expired on Weds., 3/24/2021, I was able to get a new temp tag for an additional 30 days, which expired on Fri., 4/23/2021. On the expiration date, I attempted to get my plates from the DMV and they told me that CarMax had not yet responded to the rejection notice -- an entire month later! I called CarMax that morning and spoke with Jackie. She said Noelle, the lead business associate would handle it and then would FedEx the documents to the DMV that day or on Sat., 4/24/2021. I waited and waited and waited. Still nothing. I called CarMax back on Fri., 5/14/2021 and spoke with a gentleman who said the paperwork was hand-carried to the DMV a few days earlier -- instead of three weeks prior as I had been promised!! And somehow no one thought to give me a call to let me know what was going on. Today, Tues., 5/25/2021 I called the DMV and they still dont have the paperwork from CarMax. I called CarMax yet again and the gentlemen I spoke with said he talked to the DMV expert and was told the paperwork was rejected AGAIN!! Considering how many cars that they sell, youd think that they and their so-called DMV expert would be able to file the proper paperwork and pay the proper amount of taxes for a vehicle I bought over FOUR MONTHS ago!! Now, they allegedly need to get another check for the taxes, which wont be there until Tues., 6/1/2021 and then they have to re-do the paperwork, and THEN take it to the DMV .... AGAIN!! How long is this going to go on?! I used to be a big fan of CarMax as I used to live a couple of miles from their headquarters in Virginia and I really liked their business model. But if this is how they cross their Ts and dot their Is, then youre better off taking your business elsewhere.

I bought my car (2008 Infinity) in January of this year. With in the month my car was slowly loosing power steering. When I took it in I still had my warranty which was good because I needed a new steering rack. In July my car kept over heating so I took it in and luckily I got an extended warranty because I needed a new engine. After a couple weeks they called and said something happened while they were installing it and so I needed a new transmission. Another couple weeks later they told me my car was done. I was living in Rifle, co so it was a long drive home. At Eisenhower tunnel my car broke down (luckily with cell phone service). They sent a tow truck and gave me my rental car back. They called me a couple days later and said my car needed a new engine and transmission again. A couple weeks later (now December) they said my car was done and they gave me a coupon for a free oil change. The second time they gave me my car back the mechanic manager was extremely apologetic. Rhayanne and Jasmine were communicating very well by calling me every week to give me an update on my car. So far no issues but definitely would recommend getting the extended warranty!

We bought a care from Parker car max almost 3 years ago. We received a vehicle history at the time of purchase which was passed off as similar to a carfax. We recently found out that our vehicle was involved in an accident and we were unaware because their vehicle history they provided did not disclose it. We are extremely disappointed and will likely not buy another car from there because we feel like we were deceived. I guess buyer beware and do your due diligence. We thought the report they provided was legit.

I have very little time for the typical car salesman bs. I hoped that this would be different after seeing a lot of reviews online. It seems there are many reviews right across the board, but my experience was one that Im still stunned was so easy and actually perfect from start to finish. I researched the type of vehicle we wanted and arranged to check it out at Parker. I went in, zero pressure or people falling all over you to drag you to the car lot. Worked with a guy called Jayden who was quite simply the best. we did a 24 hour test drive, came back in and in a few hours we were done. Of course opinions vary and some people may get a negative experience but for us it was simply the easiest and best car buying experience weve ever had. Im still quite shocked actually. The company and Jayden are absolutely worth checking out.
