These folks are amazing.My laptop crashed 930am while at work. I ended up leaving work early and based off local repair shops and their ratings I took chance with them. I brought it in around 1230 and they had it finished at 4pm. It needed a new hard drive.When I picked it up they let me take my time and install programs on it and double check all the files I needed were successfully recovered. Excellent work ethic, speed, customer service, and warm atmosphere that helped me feel welcome and not just another customer.This morning I was freaking out yet by the evening I could rest easy because my laptop was repaired and faster than before thanks to Gearbox!!I highly highly recommend!

Gearbox is awesome! Very knowledgeable and incredible customer service. I purchased a used dell laptop from them, had a fluke issue with the screen, they fixed it and gave me a loaner laptop to use while they fixed it. Maria and Paul were great! Lingering issue with our laptop, they had it diagnosed and corrected in a day. The big box store we brought it to before visiting Gear Box said it would be a week minimum before we could get it back.Paul gave me a full understandable explanation of the problem and gave some advice on how to prevent further issues. It was a great experience working with Gear Box and I will be coming back with any other computer problems. Glad to be supporting our local businesses!!

If I could give a store a negative review I would. Man in the store was rude and condescending. Ranted about modern laptops having bad hinge designs. He then didnt want to repair my laptop because it could break in the future because it was a bad design and was afraid of a bad review. Staff was rude and incompetent. Suggested I replace my laptop for cracked plastic at the hinge. Avoid this store at all cost.

Laptop hard drive went bad and I needed it fixed quickly in order to get payroll in. They had it repaired AND updated to Windows 10 for me. He also took it upon himself to fix one of the broken feet on the laptop. Got it back in 2 days good as new. I would definitely recommend and return to this establishment.

As a local Architect, our office depends on not only drafting boards, but also high-end computers. At one time, I ordered parts (motherboards, processors, ram, hard drives, video cards, and power supplies) myself, and assembled the computers in our shop. Paul is admittedly much faster at this than I am, and more accurate. His approach to troubleshooting is methodical, and based on the scientific method. He is earnest at both assembly and solving issues, and genuinely seeks to help his clients. His fees are beyond reasonable. He and Maria are pleasant and conversational. I give them my highest reference.

This family operated owned business is the only place I will ever take my computers to. Their hospitality and knowledge is un comparable to any. This family owned business are such kind and helpful people. I love their service and hospitality. Their knowledge is excellent and I don’t get to see them very often because they fix everything perfect. I kind of want to break my computer just to go see them again. LOL but highly recommended by me and I see there other reviews are most awesome. Great family business and great customer service. Five star if I could give them 10 I would. I also believe there was a negative comment by DAN. iPhone screens are very expensive and you got a good deal if you got it from Paul And Maria. I don’t know what you’re complaining about but it’s very inappropriate that you would leave such a nasty negative review

Fantastic people that run the shop. My husband and I have Alienware Mx17s and those things have a shoddy battery. Replaced both of ours in just two days for a good price. They also repaired one of them last year that had coffee damage. I will go here every time.

I went in to get my laptop repaired and not only did they fix it faster than the estimated time, they went beyond the minimum and fix some minor issues. Hopefully I wont need to return, but if I do, Ill know my computer is in good hands.EDIT: Issue returned after a few months. Seems it was only a temporary fix instead of a permanent one.

They charge $119.00 for a iPhone screen replace. Have to go twice cause of bad quality job. Cell phone still acting funny so I checked it on Apple store. They found that screen is the problem so I go back on that Gear box computer repair with a proof in my hand trying to get my money back but they refused. Later I found lot of people who had a service from them on Apple products end up on same situation. Im very disappointed on quality work and thank way how I been treating. I honestly recommend for everyone to find a really store or better go to authorized dealer.
