Is it me? Or am i bugging the fact that the guy at the store told me the light bulb would be bright white, but says Halogen on the package. He said try it, it will work.. so i did, than brought it back a day later because it was still warm yellow, so another guy tells me no exhanges... ive spent alot of money here and now ill drive further to a store that did steer me the right way.

Needed headlights, for my car there were 2 different kinds 1 for early model 1 for late model. I checked door which said Oct of 2008 for my 2009 Hyundai. He said take both and return the one you dont use. When I went to return the unused headlight bulbs the computer was down. I did return them the next day

I went to Advanced Auto and bought a good quality battery for my car. When my battery died it was still under warranty. I went back to them and they tested it and said the battery was not bad it must be something else. I got a jump and I brought it to my mechanic. He tested it and said the battery registered as bad. My mechanic even called John, at the Patchogue store for me, to argue on my behalf but they refused to honor the warranty. I had to buy a new battery. Do not trust them. They do not honor their warranty. Their testing only shows part of the problem but the real problem will not show up so that way they cheat the buyer. Unacceptable.

Great help at the counter! Had most of the parts I need to do my power steering rack and pinion job.Unfortunately the stores Stock and Inventory system needs to be updated.I called in two days in advance to verify my rack and pinion assembly was in the store, their computer said yes. Today I went to the store to buy my part, it was not found in the back room, and it was still listed as available in the computer?So, after leaving to pick up my part at a different store and location, I called back and placed an order for sway bar links. I was told that I would be able to pick them up tomorrow morning 😊.Like I said, I usually get the items that I need here, granted the store usually only stocks one of the items needed.

Sunday I went to the store with my machine on hes day off he told Gary he has an account there Gary said he didnt know him and was rude thank god for joe in Holbrook because of Gary I had to go to Holbrook 4 time I got brakes and rotors and calipers I just want you to know I drove by 4 other auto parts stores on the way because of gary I will never spend my money in a store that Gary work at I am sure I am not the only person thank for wasting me and my machines only day off ps the brakes were for my daughter

I love Advance and getting discounted auto parts by buying online and picking up in the store, but this is probably the worst location Ive been to. They NEVER have the order picked by the time I get there, even if I go the next day. The whole point of buying it online is so that its ready when I pick it up so I dont have to go looking for everything myself. Theres nothing more annoying than being asked what half of the items are and waiting for them to go find them. I honestly think I can pick all the items myself faster than they can. But hopefully that will change as new employees cycle through. For now Ill go to the Holbrook store for better service.

Manager Gary needs to find another job because he failed to give me my receipt for a new battery and starter with lifetime warranty.When I got home called the store and spoke to Gary who said he put my receipt in the starter box.I said no, its not in there, he then hung up on me.I immediately went back to the store to find that Gary had left for the day and found Steven an Army vet help me. He was amazed that the manager did that. He then proceeded to dig threw all the trash in the store and finally found my receipt. I needed that to return the cores for the battery and starter core.Thumbs up for Steven and big thumbs down to Gary.

Ive been coming to this location time over time and I must say the service I get from this store is out of this world. I recently came in to get a new battery for my car and for some odd reason couldnt find it online . I was greeted with in seconds from Tayler. She went over and beyond for me not only did she find the battery I needed but check this out she even took the time to help me install it . I dont see other stores doing this . Because of her customer service skills I will now only try to deal with her. She is a great assest to the company keep up the good work !!!

I prefer Napa but stock is usually limited. Started going to Advanced after I realized how crappy the service is at pepboys. Great selection and always great service. Also goid prices and even better if purchasing online and picking up at the local store.

This place needs new staff. Everytime I get parts from this store they are wrong. When you have very little time to make repairs on your vehicle you count on getting the right parts to do the job. I go here because its the only store that says they have my part. Customer service is not their priority. Called 7 minutes before they close, told them they gave me the wrong and that I need to fix my truck for work and I could be there in 10 minutes. You would think since they gave me the wrong part that they would be willing to wait the extra 5 minutes to help me out so I dont lose any more money, but NO! They were unwilling to go the extra mile to satisfy a customer they already screwed. If you can find another store to goto do it. Ill be driving extra miles to my parts from no on.

This store is a joke. I placed an order online, they called me to tell me the order was ready and when I got there rushing because my babysitter had to leave they tell me my order wasnt ready and that they needed to pull it from the shelves. Previous times I shopped there it takes them a long time to get their stuff from the shelves. The counter person thought it was a joke I had to wait for him to get this parts. I cancelled the order and Im not shopping here again. Last, It takes them 24-48 hours to return your money to the credit card where it should be instantaneous. NEVER AGAIN.

First Id like to say that I never write review on Google but this is an expection. I went there on 11/7/21 to purchase a spring compressor tool (W80559) that shows available on the advanced website. I went in and polity asked for a spring compressor tool. The employee (tall older white male) brings me a tool. I say Do you have a different one while showing him a picture of the exact tool with a part number. He looks at me up and down and says nope we dont have it. He never looked up the tool in the system nor when to check his stock. I then proceeded to the next closest advanced location and the employee there took one look at the tool that I showed him on my phone and got it for me. I asked him if he could check if the tool was in stock at the previous store and he said they had 2 in stock. As a man of color I can only think of one reason that I was treated this way. Im sure everyone knows. what I mean.
