They made moving day so easy and stress free. We had 4 movers help us pack and move. They did an excellent job packing everything, from weird shaped objects to fragile items, everything arrived in tact. They were very fast and never stopped working. They were pleasant and courteous to be with all day. I had a cheaper quote with another company but be aware that you get what you pay for! And that certainly goes for Mass Bay Movers, they provided top notch service. I would feel confident recommending this company to anyone. We couldnt have been happier with our move.

I was impressed with professionalism, friendliness, and high level of expertise in moving and packing (wrapping) of my movers Franklyn, Jorge and Tobi. They all showed up and worked the whole time with the masks on the 85 degree weather. I really respect the safety measures that they were observing. The job wasnt easy since I was moving out from 2 family house and they had to take some big pieces of furniture from the third floor down very narrow stairway, without any scratches on the wall. Mass. Bay Movers did an amazing job of getting an extremely heavy piano out of a home and onto our trailer. They took the time to secure it and it didnt move one inch. The only thing I was disappointed in was we had to wait for them to show up. But all in all the movers were respectful and kind the rep we spoke to on the phone was pleasant and polite. We are pleased.

We were very happy with our move. The team leader was especially effective in keeping his team moving forward efficiently such that the entire move, packing, moving, unpacking and set up in the new dwelling took about eight hours from start to finish. He was also very personable and responsive to our questions and concerns during the process. We would use this company again and hope to get the same team. We felt we got good value for our money.

This is the first time I used a moving company, I didn’t know where I should call and which company I should trust to move my belongings with care. I saw MassBay Movers from online with all 5 stars rated from other customers, and now, I am so happy that I made the right choice and right decision to choose their service. They did a very good job, handle my stuff very carefully, and set them up perfectly without any problems. I had a Queen size adjustable bed and a twin xl real wood bed with three drawers underneath which were very heavy to carry and need a lot of effort to do. Besides, they also moved my treadmill and my standing freezer. They wrapped up my things in well-protected. The cost is a little high but made a lot of sense and is well deserved. I had been ghosted by another mover. I filled out an on line from on a Saturday afternoon hoping to get a call first thing Monday morning. Within 10-15 minutes I got a call from Sal, the owner. I told him what I needed and he was able to help. The movers arrived at the promised time. They were professional, helpful and extremely efficient. My things were to be delivered the next day. My closing was delayed. I called Nick to see if I could push back the delivery a couple of hours. Again, no problem. They came at the agreed time. 5 Stars is not enough......Mass Bay Movers, without question, deserves 6 Stars!!From my first conversation with Sal ... to on-going conversations with Erica...to a tour of the warehouse (which was incredibly clean and organized)..to the actual move itself..this company delivered top notch service !My move involved a first stop to pick up and pack office furniture from an office in downtown Boston, then a second stop at my Boston apartment where the moving team packed furniture, artwork, an oversized china cabinet, an upright piano, and other furniture items ...some to be delivered to Cape Cod and other items to be stored. The moving team delivered the designated artwork and furniture to my home on Cape Cod (including placing some large items on the second floor up a narrow stairway) and took the remaining furniture to long term storage at their warehouse.The moving team ( of 4 men headed up by Heyner) all worn masks and were respectful of social distancing. Throughout the move the team was professional, efficient, congenial, hard working and clearly well trained. They packed and wrapped each item with care and expertise; and delivered everything in perfect condition. They addressed any concern I had and left nothing to chance.The move went like clockwork..a totally seamless transition !Thank you Mass Bay Movers for a great experience. I will definitely use you for future moves and would highly recommend you to others!

I had a move out from a condo and storage unit, into an apartment. Ahead of time, they were great at communication and gave an amazing price quote. On the day of the move, the movers reviewed the plan and quickly got to work. I was expecting the move to take longer than was quoted, thinking it was just a minimum but they hit the total time easily, and with the low price, it was an excellent value. I would certainly recommend them to family and friends!

Very easy booking process and were agreeable for a storage facility and full home move across town. We had to move in heavy rain, which did slow down the process and made more of a mess which I was believe out of their control, but would have appreciated some clean up afterwards. Did have to ask a few of them to please keep masks on, but I understand they are doing heavy work. Overall, it was a successful move and on budget.

They started strong, had a bumpy middle but finished strong and did a great job. I had emailed them an inquiry about moving and they reached out within 15 minutes to answer my questions which was great. Due to covid, we set up a facetime call a few days later so they could take a look around our condo and see what needed to be moved. Later that day I received an estimate and found they were slightly below the average cost that I had seen so we decided to book our move with them. For the day of the move we were told the movers would be there between 8am and 9am and to plan for a 4-6 hour move. My wife and I had set up the rest of our day around that schedule. At 10am I called as the movers had not yet arrived and I was told that they went to another job that was scheduled for later in the day first. We were told that depending on how that job went, the movers would be over best case 12:30pm and worst case 3pm. We found this very frustrating and inconvenient as we had to rearrange the rest of our day and reschedule some appointments such as comcast etc. At 2:45pm I called and asked for an update on when the movers would be arriving and I was told they had just left the previous job and would be there shortly. They informed me that they were going to send two additional movers to assist at no extra cost because they felt bad our day had to be completely rescheduled. When the movers arrived they apologized for the mix-up as well and got to work. They were incredibly professional, friendly and they moved very quickly. They were able to disassemble the furniture that needed to be and packed up their truck with in an hour or so. We confirmed the address that they were driving to and my wife met them at the new house. The whole crew unloaded everything and put everything where it needed to be. All the furniture was reassembled correctly and everything appeared to be moved safely as nothing was damaged or broken. The entire crew did an amazing job and the total bill came in under the estimate which was great. The communication between everyone was great, and I can see why this is a 5 star company. If it wasnt for the mix-up of times, this move would have been perfect. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone looking to move.-Joe

THANK YOU MASS BAY MOVERS!!!!We called and talked to Sal, who was very courteous and helpful. He sent someone over to give us an estimate, which was very reasonable. When the big day came, the price was even lower! The guys were very friendly and gentle with our stuff. They took extra precautions to ensure that none of our stuff got damaged. They emptied out our apartment pretty quickly, and met us at our new home to unload it just as quickly, while bringing everything where it needed to go, safely and undamaged. They were also very careful not to let our cat escape! Moving has always been such a stressful experience for me, but Mass Bay made this day an easy and stress-free day. Sal personally called to ensure we were satisfied. He is a great guy! I cannot recommend Mass Bay enough! We will be using them again when we upgrade!

We were so impressed with Mass Bay Movers. Absolutely top notch company. Sals communication up until the move was seamless and the men who completed the move were phenomenal. They treated our things and our home with the upmost care. They were very efficient but did not rush the job. They took extra care to wrap all pieces with nice soft blankets and we had not even a scratch moving our 3 bedroom house. EXTRA BONUS...We have a young toddler, and they constantly were checking his whereabouts to make sure he was out of harms way with dollies, ramps, truck, etc... that meant so much to us. We had a 10 mile move from an apt. building in Medford to our new 3 story single family home. The quote was a little lower than I expected and the total amount was exactly what I expected - no surprises anywhere.The company was responsive to my questions and the movers were professional, efficient, and mindful of their surroundings. The foreman even had the stick on coasters to put under the legs of our furniture before I had a chance to wonder where I had put mine.This being the COVID era they all wore masks.Moving sucks and we dont plan on doing it anytime soon but this was one of the easiest moves in my 40+ years and well worth it.

Sal and his team went way above and beyond. We had to cancel on them 3 times due to bumps in the road selling our house, once just hours before they were due to arrive. I half expected him to kick us to the curb, but he couldnt have been more gracious and understanding. Fourth time turned out to be the charm and things went off with out a hitch.Hilberth, Edwin and Alberto were so organized, professional and just great to work with. We were moving out of state to a much smaller house that is being rehabbed. There was a fair amount of large furniture that had to go into a garage and I was amazed at how easily they handled all the craziness that day. They worked straight out all day hauling large furniture to several locations and up steep stairs with not one problem.If we ever move again, and I hope we never have to, I would not hesitate to hire them again, they were worth every penny spent.

They saved the day. The first moving company I had set up never called and never returned my calls or texts after the first meeting. I was getting nervous and worried nobody would be there during the move. With about 4-5 days before I had to move I found MBM and they made everything quick and easy from the initial call to email updates updates and text. They were professional and on time. They did the job perfectly much quicker than expected. I would give 6 stars if I could.

We were incredibly impressed by and appreciative of the operation at Mass Bay Movers. We had an incoming tenant taking our old residence when we purchased another home a few towns over and the tenant needed our space on VERY short notice. Needless to say, we were not prepared AT ALL. But from my first meeting with Sal for the walk-through and estimate he put my worries at ease by explaining all the services he could provide us in our unique situation. His quote was better than expected given how some other companies could probably smell blood in the water and take advantage. The quote and time-frame Sal provided was spot on at the end of the job. Which leads me to Sals crew, headed by Sean. These guys were AWESOME. We were just so impressed by their efficiency, especially with their packing skills as we needed their help packing up pretty much everything in our old place. We started at 8am and were done by 4pm. It was a whirlwind but I could see that these guys had everything under control the whole time. And they actually made moving fun if you can believe it! They did an amazing job helping me move my stuff in storage. Nick, the owner, was very patient with me and understanding. I rescheduled for the day because it was raining and he didnt charge me a cancellation fee. The movers really took their time with my stuff and were very accommodating to my needs. I had a velvet bed that shows dirt easily. I asked them to wash their hands before wrapping it and they did. I was really impressed with the service and glad to finally find a moving company that knows what they are doing!

We recently used Mass Bay Movers to unpack our storage locker and bring the contents to our new Condo. The crew arrived on time and all three men were eager to get started. The storage locker was packed to the ceiling. The crew from Mass Bay immediately began the process of emptying the locker and loading the truck. They worked quickly, carefully, and efficiently. We left the storage locker and traveled to our new home and the process was repeated. Mass Bay movers were great! I had 3 movers named Aniba(Speedy), Pedro and Ed. They were friendly, hard working and didn’t dilly dally at all. They were very careful with all our valuables and nothing was broken. For the 3 movers it was $135 hour rate and well worth it. Only took 6 hours even though they quoted us for 9. I highly recommend using these movers.

I was very Hesitant to hiring a moving company due to past experiences. However we had a very good experience with mass bay! I highly recommend them! They were quick, efficient, prompt and did not try to take their time as most movers do In order to insure more $. They were still very quick and handled themselves very well. My husband and I recently hired Mass Bay Movers for our move from Charlestown to Bedford and couldnt have been more pleased with the job they did. We had a 4 man crew to move us out of our 2 bedroom condo + basement storage unit. Our guys were Henry, George, Jaramillo and Baha. From the minute they arrived (they were right on time!), I could tell these guys meant business. Baha led the crew and asked me before starting what we wanted to take, what we wanted to leave and went over some paperwork. He was very thorough. Then, when it came time to move all our stuff, the finished loading the trucks in 2 hours 15 minutes! And we have a LOT of stuff - bed, dresser, baby furniture, huge media stand, stationary bike, patio furniture, a huge sectional- you get the picture. I was shocked at how fast they moved! And they were so careful - by the time they got to Bedford, nothing was broken! And they also assembled and disassembled our stuff like bed, crib, they took down our tv that was mounted. And they were such nice guys. Any request we made was executed with zero complaints. We felt bad they were working so hard and got them pizza and Gatorade. You can probably find movers that are cheaper but they wont be as good, efficient or careful. Our moving crew and Sal and his office team were a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend them!

I’ve always rented a U-Haul and moved everything myself but Mass Bay Movers did everything for me and it didn’t really cost that much more than a rented U-Haul for the day. We’re very satisfied with Mass Bay Movers and highly recommend them.

Great moving experience. They showed up on time and completed each leg of the job when they said the would. They worked quickly, carefully to make sure everything was put in the right places. As an added touch, they even added some felt pads to make sure the furniture didnt scratch our new wood floors. It was damage free move. We would definitely use Mass Bay Movers again.

Everything was perfect from the estimate through to the last box moved. Everyone was friendly, helpful and accommodating. The price was the best I found too. I would definitely recommend them.

They were very courteous, helpful, desirous to ensure we were happy with every item being in the right place, took great care with all our belongings, wrapping and padding to a meticulous level. Smiles and working hard. I did drop a note to Sal, as we had one item broken… a glass coffee table in transit and Joe, was the first to come to me to explain and apologize and to state he had just got off the phone with Sal who was immediately going to put in a claim for a replacement. I couldnt have asked for a better experience moving. The crew arrived when they said, had all supplies on hand for any additional parking I was unable to complete ahead of time and they were professional and courteous. All of my belongings were treated with care and well protected. My move occurred while receiving 4-6 inches of rain and these guys got it done without anything receiving water damage. I hope not to move anytime soon but would not hesitate to use Massbay again.

Love these guys! We had a complicated move where some of our stuff had to go to their storage facility and some had to go into our temporary housing until purchase of our new house was complete. They took great care to stay organized, take care of our stuff and remain very professional and respectful all the while. Our stuff was in perfect condition after storage as well. The movers were very professional and took great care of my belongings. They were on time and helped me moved my belongings from two different locations in Massachusetts to my new residence in NH in a professional timely manner.
