I was pleased with the staff who kept me up to date throughout the process of repairing my vehicle. Workmanship is excellent and they guarantee their work. I would recommend Gerber for auto body and paint work.

I went to gerber collision 7/27/21 to get a second opinion of an insurance estimate. The guy started by looking at my vehicle and taking pictures, which from my experience is standard. I tried small talking him saying my girlfriend primarily drives the vehicle to work. He then commented i wonder how much of the damage was already there or actually caused by the incident, basically insinuating im lying. We go inside for him to calculate costs, he proceeds to call my insurance company and his first statement to them was we have a rat in the woodpile. im not sure if he was aware i could hear everything he was saying or not, but i was very offended as he proceeded to question the credibility of my situation. He stated he doesnt have a good feeling about this guy (me), and there may be something nefarious going on here and hes got his fiances truck in here trying to get some money. After hearing the things that where said he talked to me again. I explained to him that I am the legal owner of the vehicle, i have pictures of the situation, and video footage of the incident in question. I feel as though it was not his place to determine what happened to cause the damage, but to instead evaluate the cost of repairing the damage. Again i only went there to get a second opinion in comparison to the first estimate i had done previously. Fortunately my insurance company seemed to have dismissed his opinion of me, which for whatever reason was extremely negative. Ive never had them do any work so i cannot speak on their ability to repair a vehicle, but with the way i was treated i dont think i ever will.

Friendly informative helpful unfortunately my damage was more than my jeep was worth ! The day after they got my jeep they had the estimate. I have had a vehicle fixed by them before which met my expectations!

I would recommend this place to anyone needing their car repaired. I got hit by a deer and they did an amazing job fixing my car. Even when something broke they took the time to find the correct part and replace it at no cost since it broke while they were taking it apart. The guys are very friendly and stand by the jobs they do.

Yall i dont know what to say besides this place should have 10 stars!!! They were soooooo nice and professional n made sure i knew what was going on everystep of the way they even washed my car annnnd yall i have a gold car sumtimes very hard color to match yall i went to get my car n you wuld not even know i was in a wreck n i had over 6k in damage done to my car, they made it soooo un stressful i will continue to go to them for things needed and highly recommend them to anyone! Everyone i spoke with was friendly n talked to me not at me n did not make me feel dumb like most car shops do they took the time to explain things n even the manager spoke to me n wen i picked up the car he made sure i was happy with it before i left n that everything was ok n up to my standards! So yall need work done this is the place to go!!!!

These guys was, will you just cant find a shop that you can but trustin like Gerbers. They made me feel at ease with what they had to do. Gave me a timeline for the finished job and they were right there. I would recommend them to every one who wants their car done right. They are the ones to do it.

My insurance sent me to the Peoria facility, but they said my car could get done faster in Pekin. Everyone I dealt with at both locations was very professional and thoughtful. They were smart enough to under promise and over deliver on repairing my front end. They even rushed the final once-over so that I could head out of town. Thank you Gerber for a refreshingly good experience!

I had work done on my 96 accord a few months back from something else and Gerber Collision did an outstanding job replacing and fixing the damage on that, but just recently a deer hit the side of my vehicle and therefore I couldnt open the passenger door. Two of the competitors near by quoted me between $150 - $180 just to be able to open the passenger door again, but when I brought it to Gerber Collision just to get a quote, I believe the gentlemans name was Greg who was the one that used a tool to pop the side fender back into place at no charge. I tried to offer him cash, but he politely declined. I was shocked. That made my day a lot better. Additionally, the rest of the staff were polite and professional too. Twice already Gerber Collision has done me well and id definitely choose them again any time.
