I am painting my bathroom. Thomas has been the most helpful and knowledgeable employee. Upon his warm and welcoming greeting as I entered the store, he walked me through all the paint textures and undertones. (I thought I had done a thorough Google search. Boy was I wrong). Not only did he help me pick out the color that I wanted, he helped me pick out all the necessary tools that I needed. With employees like that, I will continue to patronize the store. I look for him every time I shop to get that personalized shopping experience. Thomas is such a valuable associate.

Went in to get 2 gallons of paint, the young guy asked what grade of paint I wanted and said Aura was top of the line and they had a medium grade also, I said I wanted the mid grade and he went to mix, At the check out the cost for EACH can was $75.00++. I told him I didnt want the top grade and he told the cashier he picked up the wrong cans. He went to get his supervisor which had NO customers service skills, the supervisor said that if I didnt buy the mixed cans he would not sell me any other paint!!! I said fine and left, so instead of him maybe remixing or reducing the price to mid grade and making a sale and having a satisfied customer, he choose to loose 100% of the sale and now had a dissatisfied repeat customer. I went 6 miles down the road to Webb and purchased the correct product. Ace and management handled poorly without consideration of the customer. Good luck selling the paint and loose again!

I stopped in to Ace to pay a dollar more for AC filters because I didnt want to spend the time in Walmart because my 77 year old Mother with Dementia wasnt feeling well and needed to get home in bed, we had just left the Dr. The so-called Manager, Thomas, was checking people out. As he checked me out he was very short and not professional in any way. I was never thanked for my purchase because he was too focused on getting someone to relieve him. As I walk outside I see the Averitt Express truck blocking me. I informed the driver that I had to go, he told me I had to wait. I told the self proclaimed Manager and he told me the same. I will NEVER step foot in another Ace Hardware as long as I live. Thomas OBVIOUSLY thinks his delivery is more important than my Moms health. Worst excuse for customer service that I have EVER witnessed.

Ace Hardware in Pell City is AMAZING. We ran out of propane in our camper and had to run up there and they helped fill us up. They were so kind and nice on the phone and in person. I had purchased a product from there in terms of equipment. I called to get an update with Management on March 28, 2021, at approximately 12:45 p.m., and spoke with a supervisor. His customer service skills were ridiculous. He had no type of concerns for me in regards to my equipment nor was he able to give me an answer.Once I get my equipment, I will not purchase anything else from Ace in Pell City Alabama!!! Horrible experience!!

This place is amazing. One stop shop for your household gardening needs. You can find a pvc plumbing part or repair your garden hose. Customer support is awesome.

I wanted to buy still a leaf blower. I went to Talladega tractor first on my way home from work and none of the employees were wearing masks I didnt stay long. The next day I went to Ace hardware all of the employees are very helpful and always wearing masks. The new Stihl leaf blower is awesome! Good to have this Ace Hardware in our community, sure is convenient. Thanks to the staff and management for putting customers first. Respectfully, David

I bought a chainsaw from here. The first time I used it wouldnt cut because the was on backwards. The third time I used it the pull string broke so I took it back to repaired the guy told me it wasnt covered under the warranty (with an attaude). I said ok well I would like to return it because I am not happy with it . I was told there is a 7 day return window . And then on top that I had to pay $30 to get it repaired. But It could be more once I pick it up in 5 to 7 business days. UPDATE 9.10.20. The chainsaw is under warranty by the manufacturer and was repaired in one day at different place

This is an awesome location and I definitely will be back multiple times. I actually just dropped in because I didnt want to go to one of the big box stores to pick up a piece I needed. What turned out to be just a run in the store and get what I needed was like a changed event I felt like a kid in a candy store. I was amazed at how everything I needed was in this one place and the service was above and beyond anything I could ever imagine. They not only had home repair stuff but have stuff to decorate your home with. Awesome awesome awesome cant wait to go back.

Staff is very friendly but after that they are horrible. Purchase the chainsaw from them the man brought it in the back to get it fueled up and then broke it. Had to settle for a different type of Chainsaw. Came back two weeks later to replace chain a separate man gave me the wrong chain. Then had to bring chainsaw back to have warranty work. Took them over two weeks. When I dropped it off the man said theyd call me the next day and let me know what was going on with it no one called. No one even called to tell me the chainsaw was finish. If you still go to the store I would only speak to the two older women if it was not for them I would have never ended up with the right chainsaw blade.
