First and foremost, Adriana and Janelle were so helpful and easy to talk to. My doctor? So kind and professional! I forgot her name but she’s a short woman, SUPER INFORMATIVE! They all took their time with the procedures and Adriana even called my mom’s insurance company to get all the information needed for me to get the best coverage for my lenses and contacts. Great location and staff. Thanks so much guys, for everything!
This place was amazing! Very professional and attentive staff ensured that my complete eye exam and prescription was fulfilled in less then 1 hour. The facility was easy to find, very clean, and ready for me when I arrived. The Dr explained every single part of the process and made very intuitive suggestions.Would highly recommend Visionworks to anyone short on time and looking for extremely professional folks who will ensure quality service.
Absolutely amazing. Weve had problems with so many places before and having to get our lens redone because of improper sizes, but the staff here is not only incredibly friendly, but super helpful and willing to go above and beyond in making sure your prescription and frames fit perfectly. I just moved to Florida 2 months ago and bar none… this was the best customer service of any Visionworks that I have received. Every employee including the doctor/ office was excellent to say the least in terms of professionalism, being personable, being patient and prompt. Dr. Ali was wonderful. She explained every detail plainly and was super patient through the exam. Adriana & Bermarys gave exceptional customer service. This will definitely be the location I return to- they set the customer service bar high. Love these ladies!

I wish I can give 0 stars to this Store located at 12208 Pines Blvd. I don’t know if this store are franchised or not, but I can tell you the team in this store are the worse, today I check their schedule online due that they are not answering the phone on that store, and the calls are transferred to a answering company in India having no clue of how long will take to call you back, on hold for 24 minutes both times to be answer for a 3rd party company who has no idea what’s happening at the store, we are a family of 4 and we use the store for convenience of distance from home, not anymore, competition is all over Pembroke Pines, what really aggravates me today is that showing 5 minutes before closing 2 old ladies had the doors closed avoiding last time minute customers who left work early to make it before they close, they were ignoring me at the door when I was able to talk I told them that the time on google and their website shows 7pm not 6:55pm, that how big companies closed their doors and go bankruptcy, customer service, the district manager, Corporate Office should check cameras and check the time I showed up and the 2 old ladies ignored me, and turned of the light of the store. you just loose a good customer and his family, but won a person who will give bad reviews to neighbors, friends and PTA associations, it is a shame how employees can damages reputation of the business. My experience here started off on a good note, then quickly deteriorated. The doctor was amazing. As were the staff when I picked out my frames. I ordered one new pair of glasses and I brought in a frame that needed new lenses. When I was picking up both pairs of glasses, the associate BROKE the frame I had brought in while she was cleaning/adjusting them. She then lied to me and said it was just a little crack on the side. No. They were completely twisted and warped and unwearable. I explained to her that these were a very expensive frame I really liked and she would have to replace them. She then had the nerve to say, if I knew they were an older pair, I would have been more careful with them. So I guess that means she can be careless with new frames? About 4 days after this happened, I called the store to get an update, and she said she emailed Coach to special order these frames, but never heard back from them. She said that I could keep calling the store to get updates, but whenever I do, no one ever answers. Its been almost two weeks now since she broke my frames, Ive already paid for the new lenses, and now I dont even know if theyve been able to replace my frames, let alone put new lenses in them. This place sucks.

I was assisted by Lily and she was absolutely wonderful with my 6 year old son who’s a handful. She got him to be cooperative with picking out his glasses and assisting the “proper fit” with him! Scarlett and Dr. Nyguen were wonderful as well!!! Would totally recommend especially for active 6 year olds!

Glasses take forever and they dont notify you when arrive. You have to keep calling in order to find out. Customer service is poor. The only thing I like about the place is the doctor. She seems highly professional. If it wasnt for her I would give it 1 star.
1) SUPER SLOW SERVICE: Came to appointment an hour early, waited for an hour after the scheduled appointment time but the optometrist wasn’t there. Kept saying to browse around for glasses. Also once the order is in, it will only take 10 days for the order to be ready! This has happened to me every time for the last 3 years, finally decided to go somewhere else.2) LACK OF BRANDS: They have super cheap brands with inflated prices. Most other companies have reasonable prices for glasses! Glasses that cost $150 are marked up to $200! And some that are $99 marked up to $150!3) UPSELL EXTRAS: Employees upsell unnecessary extras, expensive transitions etc. the cost of these are ludicrous.4) Optometrist: is sweet and professional however.Good luck to you too!
Terrible customer service. I went there to pick up my contacts and stood there for 15 mins with nobody at the front desk. I had to leave and go against my plans to schedule to pick it up a different day

First, the eye doctor is amazing! Dr. Nguyen was the best. My problem is with customer service at the front desk, specifically a petite women with dark hair. I ordered a set of contact which were ready for pick-up. Upon my arrival, I explain I just need to Pick up contacts and they’ve already been paid for. The woman said, OK it’ll be just a minute I have a few families ahead of you. I again explained all I need is her to take two seconds to pull the contacts and hand them to me as they’ve already been paid. She said OK just a minute and went to attend the other families who were picking out glasses and other vision items. After about 10 minutes of waiting, a very nice gentleman came over and took care of me and I took all of about 15 seconds. The folks who were picking out glasses were trying on frames and the young woman was helping them pick frames and helping them try on multiple frames. Do not, I repeat do not order contact lenses from this facility you’re better off ordering them online.
So thankful for the help I received from the employee at this store. A specific lady in the front was very kind and went out of her way to make sure I had amazing customer service. Will be recommending to family and friends to visit & get lenses here.
Do yourself a favor, DON’T come here! We have given this place the benefit of the doubt but in order to work here you have to be extremely rude and have no respect for people’s schedules. Also, make an appointment for two hours earlier than you expect to be seen because they take every walk in for eye exams before your actual appointment. Oh, and don’t bother inquiring about when you’ll be seen. They’ll just “ok, well ...” you with massive disrespect and attitude and shrug like they don’t care, because they obviously show they really don’t. Take your eyes, your time, your patience and your business somewhere else.
Ive been going to Visionworks for my children Rx glasses for many years. They always have what I need and want. I have vision insurance thankfully I do not need Rx glasses so, I asked the Sale Associate can I use my benefits for sunglasses and she said sure why not😊😎. #Visionworks #VeraBradleySunglasses 👍
Horrible customer service, I spoke to the store associate and she took all my information said everything was fine, the day before my appointment she stated that they didn’t took Humana so I said so why didn’t you told me this 3 weeks ago when I had made the appointment THAT IS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, I had even requested time off at work !
Dont waste your time going there, if I can rate zero stars I would. We came, we waited... And waited.... And waited... Yet, no one came and ask if we needed help or what we was coming there for. Might I add, there was less than 5 customers in the building, including me and my dad. Just crazy! Ultimately we ended up leaving and going to another eye place, no customer service.

If i could give them zero stars, i would. after hanging up on me multiple times, i came in for my appointment. after speaking with them, they refused to honor the price that my insurance told me i should be paying, and instead wanted to charge me double the amount. the office manager could not care less about her rude employees or her own incompetence. don’t waste your time.

Ordering my glasses wasnt bad at all. However, picking them up after I was contacted that they were ready was a TOTAL difference experience. They dont have someone assigned for just pickup clients. You are forced to wait for the understaffed personnel for them to help clients trying to make up their minds, check insurance and make payments. Very unfair if you are ONLY coming to pickup.

Customer service is really bad. Incompetent people. They dont serve first come first serve. It takes forever to serve. People just sit on their hands playing music, browsing, chatting, having fun and ignore customers waiting to be served. If you have a person standing in front of you for 30 mins, how can you serve someone calling on phone instead.

Terrible customer service & they NEVER answer the phone! I ordered contacts 2 months ago and they only shipped the right eye ... I called and asked about it and they said, “ it’s still on the way” 2-3 weeks later from that phone call and still haven’t received my contacts ! WTH am I supposed to do with only the RIGHT EYE ! I took my brand new glasses in to double check the prescription and then they scratched the middle of the lenses while double checking the strength of it. Then I got my lenses changed using my warrant for a scratch on my other glasses I got there and then they returned the frame with the paint dented!!!! I am extremely furious at their lack of care with my glasses. Now I have to go back to show them tomorrow the dent they created in my glasses. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AND MAD.

Called to make an appointment and I cannot get enough of how happy I am with the service received.Ginny was absolutely wonderful and so helpful. The store has a HUGE selection of frames, and the customer service exceeded all my expectations.Definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for glasses, contacts or even an eye exam.
I have purchased over six pairs of frames/lens with everything from bi focal super thin, transitions and multi color to designer frames. All were done to perfection and if I ever needed an adjustment or any little need like nose pads all staff were helpful and never too busy. This is a great place! Me and my mother saw Dr. Kennedy and got good, clean eye exams as well as great pricing on a tremendously large selection of glasses! You can get contacts just as easily as well, as my mother got contacts from Visionworks and seems fine with them!We didnt wait for super long to be seen even though he had a noticeably long line to say the least, and everyone who went before me seemed just as happy as I was with Dr. Kennedy. A lot of people even brought their kids in for before the school year starts now for their kids to have the best seeing they can, you know...see! Lol.Oh, and the employees, SUPER attentive, nice, genuinely caring and respectful for the customers. Doctor got my eyeglass prescription wrong and after I spend over 500.00 they wanted me to pay for another ! I dont think so ! Even though I had an appointment, the eye doctor only saw me 2:55 hours after my scheduled time. Who thought it was a good idea to accept all walk-ins and appointments at the same time? If you wanna waste your whole day to get an eye exam, go there!

Visionworks of Pembroke Pines has the most courteous and committed employees (Erick V. & Bermarys) and very valuable to this establishment. Once you enter they have a way of making u feel comfortable and valuable. I personally have exquisite taste and need special consideration due to my exotic taste and varied color selection for my double bi focal, thin lense requirement. These employees have that kind of patience and you won’t be disappointed with your selections. Consider this a “class act” optical establishment.
My husband and I were looking for a vision center that took his insurance, had good reviews and was open sufficiently long on weekends. After being turned down by several places because we didnt have an appointment we were beyond pleased to find a reputable place that also accepted walk-ins.Despite being walk-ins, the wait wasnt too bad. Doctor Nguyen was wonderfully polite and professional and answered all of my questions. When it came time to choose glasses and pay for them, we briefly ran into some confusion about what we were paying for until a girl named Adriana came over and did an incredible job of guiding us through the lengthy process of what was and wasnt covered by our insurance so we could make an informed decision. She was extremely patient and helpful.We left Visionworks feeling like we paid a more than justified price for our glasses.

I’ve tried to avoid writing this review, but I feel I must.Firstly, the service was quite good. Dr. NGuyen & Eric were professional & courteous.I have been a customer of this store since 2016. The first pair of glasses I got had surface scratches to the lenses from the lab; I sent those back to have the lenses changed with minimal hassle.I went back to have my eyes tested & get new glasses in December 2018. I got 2 pairs at that time: both glasses had whorl-like scratch patterns to the lenses. I spend a lot of time outside of the US and came back specifically to have the lenses changed: after waiting a few days for the first pair I went back and when I received the glasses the pattern was gone but there were clear surface scratches which I identified to the rep. He apologised and had the problem resolved by the next day.The other pair I was told had to be sent out of state to another lab to have the lenses replaced.After waiting for more than a week (I had to travel before the glasses were ready; and after asking family members to pick them up from the store and carry them overseas to me) I finally received the glasses today... Not only is the whorl pattern still there (I was told this was due to “heat damage”) but there is also a clear gap between the frame and the right lens. Should I buy another ticket to go back to FL just to take another chance on VisionWorks? I’ve lost all confidence in their ability to provide properly-made lenses. Where’s the quality control? The scratches are major, but a gap is obvious. Who checks the glasses before they’re given out?I called and was told that they can send for the lenses to be made AGAIN or can offer me a refund as long as I return the glasses in both cases. This still requires me to spend money to return to FL and hope for the best.Totally disappointed, the only reason for the second star was the customer service. Workmanship is definitely 1 star at best.

I am 55 years old and I have glaucoma and myopia of 7.5 in the left eye and 13 in the right eye. I have been using sclera lenses for a month and my vision is 20/20 with them. Thank you for giving to my eyes a second chance.

This review is quite late, though well deserved. I am not accustomed to writing reviews online, but Ive decided to start making it a habit. The terrible experience that I had at this location, happened a few years ago, but I have never forgotten it. Its the reason I will never do business with Visionworks again. I had only used Visionworks until this point. I went to purchase new frames and lenses. I picked an AX frame and got the best lenses available. The frames were $600+ and the lenses were $350+. So, I spent nearly $1,000 for new glasses. I went to pick them up a week or so later. Upon inspection of the glasses, something was very wrong. The lenses looked like they had MANY micro scratches. Trying to see through them was blurry. At first, they tried to tell me I was seeing things. That I didnt clean the glasses. They pretended not to see anything in the lenses. Then they said I must have scratched the lenses with my cloth when I wiped the lenses before putting them on. I assured them that this was not the case. The scratches were not on the outside of the lenses at all. They were INSIDE the glass. At this point, they still tell me they see nothing wrong with them, but to make me happy, they will remake the lenses. I wait another two weeks. Im living in Miami during the time Im waiting. So when I go back to get my glasses, its a 45 minute drive. I asked them if I can just take care of this at a closer location and for some reason, they told me I could only do it at that location. I go to pick up my glasses for a second time. STILL the exact same problem. Still they tell me that they see nothing wrong with them, but they will make the lenses again. I repeat this process every two weeks for a month and a half. Then, the last time I go to pick up the glasses, they tell me that they gave them to me. That I left the store with them. Which I didnt. I handed them right back to the person that gave them to me, and instructed them to make it again. They still had the glasses case with my information inside it for some reason. They hand that to me without the glasses. Obviously Im angry. Ive had to return six times for glasses they damaged. (I recently purchased a pair from a different company and they were fine until the person tried to adjust the frames using heat, which ended up damaging my new lenses the same exact way my lenses from Visionworks looked.) So, Visionworks must have accidentally damaged my lenses somehow. Repeatedly. After speaking with the manager, he tells me the best he can do is give me another set of frames for 50% off, but Ill have to pay full price for the lenses. Because if he doesnt have the glasses, I must have taken them. Despite the fact that his store still had the case with the information of my glasses still inside. My personal information. Not just information of what type of frames they were. My name. Address. Phone number. Prescription numbers for the lenses. I argue with the manager for several minutes and he refused to handle the situation better. I ended up leaving the store without my glasses from that store. Never again will I set foot in a Visionworks until at the very least the company either pays me back or gives me a credit to what I spent in their store.
Went for eye exam. Dr. wrote wrong prescription. Went back for another eye exam. Had to wait an additional 10 days while they made new prescription, since the old prescription was too strong.

I moved to Orlando 7 years ago and when I go to visit my family in Pembroke Pines, and it is my time to get my new eye exams and new glasses I always go to the Visionworks of Pembroke Pines, for their excellent service and their Very friendly treatment. I always ask them to help me select the molding that suits my face and the perfect lens for my vision problem and my needs. Without haste and with great kindness they give me the best accessory and I leave very satisfied. And when my glasses are ready they are sent to my address in Orlando. Thank you very much for such excellent service.
