Haven’t gotten the floors put in yet, but the service and employees are INSANELY amazing! They are so nice and patient! She didn’t shadow us or pressure us, and she was so friendly. 100% recommend! Go here if you want floors!! They got us in as soon as possible, which turned out to be two days after we looked! Great place!

Salesman Gary was very helpful... he knew the products, had good ideas, and his experience as an installer was helpful when I had questions about detail. He wasnt pushy or overbearing either. Definitely recommend him. Also found their prices reasonable.

I worked here for a few months before deciding I wanted to get back into real estate. This is a high end flooring store but they do have some deals when it comes to in stock items. They are contractor friendly - you can buy just material or you can have the company do an installation for you. The install manager here works closely with the hand picked installers and they do your floors CORRECTLY. All of the sales associates are trained on all flooring types and know their stuff. They also work directly with the install manager so you will have constant communication during your project. I learned a lot here and was treated well by all of the staff. It is a semi local business with the other stores being in Mobile and Gulf Shore. They also sell backsplash, shower tile, granite countertops, cabinets and rugs.

We purchased a remodel of our bathroom. The salesman at the store was excellent. All items were professionally installed. The installers were very polite and accommodating. The result was a fantastic job at a reasonable price.

We are extremely happy with the value, quality and workmanship on our complete remodel. We consulted with Johnny S., who helped us from start to finish. His suggestions and knowledge of all products and services saved money and time.We picked our exact slab of beautiful granite from the warehouse. We picked cabinets and flooring. Johnny seamlessly scheduled the work in logical order with as little disruption as possible. All work sites were cleaned up 110%. The finished house is stunning! Horrible experience with this company! Do not use them. They damaged our walls and cabinets during install and it has been a mess trying to get reimbursement for damages! Gary is extremely rude and the owner doesnt respond to complaints about Gary or the other workers.

I’ve been waiting for over a year to get my kitchen finished. First installers didn’t install somethings wrong, took 10 months for more materials and still waiting 🙁

Awesome experience at American Carpets in Pensacola. The sales team was very knowledgeable and made the stress of choosing the flooring for my new home an enjoyable experience. I am very pleased with my new floors and will use American again when the time comes to remodel.

I purchased some very nice carpeting and had rugs bound. I had an issue and they completely stood behind and replaced the carpet without any issue. I would highly recommend American Carpet, and will most definitely do business with them again.

So I was referred by a friend of mine from my hometown Mobile, AL. Knowing that I renovate homes in south FL she asked me to use her companies Pensacola store on my next trip home. Long story short, dont believe the bad reviews! The store is under new management and they are very knowledgeable. I called about two weeks ago following the hurricanes, and Cindy (who answered my call) was amazing. We had a very pleasant conversation about hardwood flooring, and then she won me over by explaining their 12 month financing plan. 10% down and the rest of your purchase over a year no interest! Guys, you cant beat these products, or prices. I plan on making this a scheduled stop every time I make the trip home! You guys are killing it American Flooring Cabinets and Granite keep it up!

Dishonest very poor service. Was dishonest about prices. Was first told they moved pool tables, when we went to pay the down payment was told we needed a subcontractor and an additional $505 just to move said pool table. The sales person told me she had spoken with the carpet installers an was told they would not move it. The installers that came out said that yes they in fact moved pool table, an it was only going to be $75 instead of $500, but nobody contacted him about moving it. Was told installation would be completed in 1 day, installer says 2 full day job at least. I just feel like I was lied to, they were dishonest and the sales woman was not knowledgeable about their provided services. Ace carpet installers were awesome.

American Flooring has really come through for my family. The Pensacola location has been very supportive over many months, as we have visited on multiple occasions, from over 70 miles away in the Florida panhandle. We had to do our research as any educated consumer would. Multiple employees have taken a lot of their valuable time to explain how the installation process works, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of different types of flooring. Their knowledge of their tradecraft left me truly impressed. The employees that I have had the pleasure to meet have over a decade of experience each. The store manager has multiple decades of experience, and he started as an installer. This staff acted like a family and supported each other. My kids have a ton of allergies, and the employees helped us to focus on the materials that would best help my small children have a better quality of life. Their installation staff has been extremely professional and understanding. We had delays on several attempts, due to building construction. Scheduling was adjusted and there were no bad feelings. When their tile installation team arrived, they were friendly, courteous, and explained the process thoroughly. They immediately got to work and finished their assignment in one day. We were so pleased with the efficiency and quality of the tile work that we are having the American Flooring team put in a hardwood floor in another part of our home now. We are planning on additional remodeling, and I fully intend to use their teams for additional tile and wood flooring installation. When you do your homework, you will be truly pleased with what you discover. Dont take my word for it. See it for yourself. I vote with my dollars... Great job on our new floors. Install crew did great work and our salesman went above and beyond the call of duty to insure we were satisfied.

These people disconnected my cable during carpet installation. I ended up paying cable to come out & reconnect me after they refused to come back out. The attitude after payment is completely different from when they’re trying to sell you something.

I recently have had floors installed by this company. I have used American Carpets multiple times, and I will continue to use them. I recommend these guys to all my family and friends, and I would recommend these guys to anyone who needs flooring. Great job! Thank you.

I just had new hardwood floors installed by American Carpets. The price was awesome, the salesperson (Gary Humphrey) was very knowledgable and the installation crew was one of the best I have ever dealt with. They were able to install wood floors in my kitchen, dining room, living room, hall and master bedroom in one day. Its beautiful! Thanks to the American Carpets team!

Great experience with a phenomenal company. Bought my granite, backplash and new laminate flooring from this store. Couldnt have been more pleased with the install and prices. I highly recommend American for any home remodeling.

Terrible work. Had to have them come back out 3 times and the floors were still not right. I got tired of dealing with them and very frustrated. They even had the nerve to call and dun me for the final payment before I even got home to see the floors. The sad part is, the guy that did the poor job still works for them. Chipped tiles, uneven floors, wrong grout color, very poor job installing the cove moulding, damaged the walls, left knife blades and debris on the window seals. They didn’t even replace the tile around the fireplace like they were supposed to do. The floors were not even close to being clean. Yes, a total mess....and I still paid the complete bill. I just got tired of dealing with them. After the 3rd guy finished, the manager never even came back out to see the final job. Wow!

After having my tile and granite countertops installed the salesman were very helpful and knowledgeable about the products. The installers did a beautiful job and made us comfortable throughout the installation. Good job, I will recommend the to friends and family

Same bad experience as other reviewers. I swear they hired the installation crew on the side of the rode! They cut the vinyl for the kitchen and entry way crooked, then patched the corners to fix it. Of course the patches are peeling up and loose. They couldnt ever figure out what or how to install the step edger between kitchen and den and glued down some ugly industrial plastic piece. Den completely bubbled up. The supervisor agreed that the den was a complete botch job and fixed most of it, but laughed at the thought that they should replace the patched entry way. I hate my flooring every time I walk in the house and am looking to replace it only a couple of years later.

My tile job was so messed up,it took almost a year to fix some of the problems,its not a good job even after repairs where maid.i had 41 hollow tiles,means not sealed,20 chips,about 25 uneven tiles,not level,their names are Donnie,tony,from Mississippi,GARY store asst.manger,mike crew sup. my house had to cleaned 5-9 times due to a shop vac that had never been cleaned,i cleaned it my self,my grout is so many different colors you would not be leave it.these people should not be in business.i am totally dis satisfied with american carpet tile &wood

Terrible experience. Workers left a huge mess and company refused to clean area.Workers left empty tile boxes, pails, carpet and padding. Workers moved my canopy from my patio and placed it on the side of my house for their use. They did not put it back. My refrigerator was unplugged and left in my living room.

Bought carpet and tile from this store but never again. The products were fine, the installers and customer service follow up were some of my worst experiences. Had to be unpleasant to get them to do what they shouldve done in the beginning.

American was very professional, got exactly what I needed. Clean store, great prices! Very friendly, always recommend to friends and family.

It has been A NIGHTMARE!!! 6 weeks later and it is still NOT RIGHT!! the threshold from my living room to the kitchen has been repaired 3 times so far...and there is a 4 inch spot now THAT IS NOT attached to anything. They have been to my home to #1 stain the qrtr rnd that they failed to do upon installation...#2 fix bubble int kitchen #3...bubble in the bathroom...& re-attach carpet between kitchen & living room...#4...put the vents back in the floors...#...re-attach ANOTHER gap between kitchen & living room...this gap was repaired by gluing scraps of the carpet on top of where the nylon threads showed through...I can go on & on...but 6wks later Im still waiting on them to finish. They even told me that if I wanted this done within the next 6-8 wks I would have TO PAY THEM!!! MOBILE STORE...run run run away!!!
