My previous review has disappeared. The worst part of my granite install was when the contractor they sent to do the job had a falling out with the owner and refused to finish the job and took my materials with him, and the owner told me “He isn’t my contractor, you’ve been the one writing checks to him, so he’s your contractor!”… Well that is only the worst moment. There were plenty of other sketchy “shoulda seen this coming” things. Stay away. You will not save a bunch vs big box stores. They lied to me with absurd claims about square footage and how I didn’t need to buy full slabs because they have inventory… then the install starts and OOPS sorry but you need to buy more slabs. They are not incompetent, they are scammers and liars.
Affordable prices. However the lack of professionalism & communication is less than desirable.
Chuck Chapman owns this Business. He is a very good man. We bought our cabinets here. They are very nice all are wood cabinets. Very reasonable.Mrs. Linda.Doud
The Cabinet Barn remodelled my kitchen in December. Everytime I go in it, I feel great! The owner was very informative and walked me through the process. He asked me what I didnt like about my kitchen and what I would change if I could. He then designed a kitchen in my budget that gave me everything I asked for. All the sub contractors were fantastic! Everything was done in the time frame I was told. I have already provided a few recommendations since my experience!
Great price great customer service always professional always reliable
Great staff and products.
5 star company with great people! Our countertops and cabinets came out amazing, could not be happier! Definitely recommend!
Met Chuck the first time we went to the store. Super friendly and educated, not a pushy salesman but told it to you straight about how your kitchens should look and layout based off of his experience, which helped us first timer in this out a lot. We ended up getting new cabinets and countertop done by them. The island was super on point and is a great talking point for any of our guests who walk into the house for the first time. Will highly recommend and will be visiting the same business soon when we need him in the near future.
We recently purchased a condo and Chuck did a great re-model of our kitchen – cabinets, lighting, modification and new installation of counters and installation of new appliances. He also re-tiled our bathroom showers and installed new glass doors along with installing new flooring throughout the condo. Everything turned out great. Communication and responsiveness were great – especially important since we were doing everything long distance. I would highly recommend Chuck and his team for any remodel.
I have used cabinet barn for all of my projects over the last 3 years and my experience has always been great. Any issues that arise are always handled promptly and in a professional manner. I would highly recommend Mandi, Chuck and the cabinet barn for any of your projects. Great company! The prices can’t be beat by anyone!
We dealt with Shannon and she helped us design our new kitchen. Very professional and very knowledgeable. Made the process easy, quick and affordable with our budget. She was very patient and helpful…we couldnt make up our minds on granite colors at first but she has excellent taste and helped us any way she could. Everything from design to installation went smoothly. Love my new kitchen!
Love my new Kitchen. Everything went great. These people have great prices and a superior job well done!! Thank You.
I have use a cabinet barn on many occasions and Im never disappointed. Mandy and the team always help me get the correct products I need in a timely manner. I would highly recommend anyone to be put in their capable hands.
We recently had our kitchen redone with Cabinet barn and love it! From going in the store to discuss what we wanted, through to it actually being installed, was just under a month! Paul completely redesigned the cabinets to fit our kitchen after some changes that we had previously made. The cabinet installer was amazingly professional, and fast too.The guys who put in the beautiful granite counter tops did an awesome job. Then a guy came to hook everything up (appliances, electric and plumbing). I was doing the back-splash myself, but got into trouble getting the old tile off without damaging the sheet rock he offered to replace all the sheet rock the very next day for a very reasonable price. Paul was so nice and professional through out,so we couldnt be any happier!
More went wrong than went right! The cabinet layout was suppose to be the same as what it was replacing...it was not! My small condo kitchen only had one drawer that was previously in a 15 wide cabinet. The Cabinet Barn replaced it with a 12 wide cabinet with a drawer interior that was just over 6 wide...no way to store my flatware! I was constantly given excuses for delay after delay. First I was told the day the installation was to start that cabinet installer had jury duty. Then, the countertop installer was let go the day before he was to start. There was little if any communication from the Cabinet Barn about the delays...all conversations had to be initiated by me! Still to this day I have not yet been able to get this company to do what they said they would. I sent payment to the owner with a multiple page letter explaining in great detail all the issues I had with his company during this project. He did not even care enough to contact me. Lousy customer service, lousy follow-up...overall, HORRIBLE experience. I would never recommend this company for anything!!!!!!
Dont know what I felt really some things didnt work out
Great prices. Great people
If there was a zero star, I would have given this business a zero. The only thing that I am happy about is the design of the kitchen and master bath.I had to be on this company every step of the way. Tile was laid in the wrong direction, quarter round was used when it was expressed strongly that I did not want it.There was a period of about six weeks where no work occurred. Any time there was an issue they recommended my own general contractor to me- they didnt want to do the tear out of the kitchen, could not figure out how to lay the kitchen, laundry room and media room tile without having a large transition- yet my contractor was able to do it beautifully without a single piece of quarter round. The cabinets installed in the bathroom went without trim until I finally had enough and got the owner involved after my son took pictures that I included in a lengthy email. The worker told the owner that trim had been installed when pictures proved it had not been done as of 11:00pm the night before the owner was told it was done.I have cabinets that are supposed to be soft close that do not work, drawers that cannot have both open at the same time because they hit each other, scratches covered by a paint marker, a cabinet that is not square, missing trim, the wrong color of trim on the bench in the master bath. I was told this trim would be reordered in the appropriate color and installed- weeks later and I havent heard a word.I wound up having to pay my contractor to watch their contractor to ensure work was completed. I had to restrict access to the house because their worker left every door unlocked, multiple windows open and a large dog door open after working one day.The ONLY reason they installed my kitchen cabinets after all of this is that they would not refund my money. I wound up not being able to use the original tile I had chosen because they did not have an installer look at the job- the sales woman is NOT an expert on what type of tile can be laid where. They did refund me the money for the tile I could not use. The tile they did lay is perpendicular to my wood floor, was not cut properly so has areas filled with grout or caulk, was not laid to the baseboards so had to be caulked. That caulk is already failing and needs to be replaced.I plan to have the tile ripped out and installed properly by my general contractor.I told the owner I would never give them any sort of recommendation- and I intend to keep my word on that.
I have dealt with Mandy on 5 houses so far and she was very professional and informative and any problem was taken care of promptly they have saved me a ton of money they beat every bodys price and I shopped from all over the country. I have bought cabinets from them for three houses on 1 order and didnt have the first problem and Im getting ready to buy cabinets for 2 more houses from them. I forgot to mention I build in Tennessee .
Very helpful and friendly
Awesome store! Very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Beautiful work!
Awesome place very professional knowledgeable and very organized I would recommend them 100%
Mandy is the most unprofessional uncaring customer service Ive ever meet. We bought our cabinets from them only because once we got started we couldnt change. She did not keep us abreast of situations with deliveries not being when they were suppose to be and even lied about situations. Now we have a problem with our doors and she still doesnt have the courtesy to call and inform us as to whats going on. They lost the sale of our backsplash and counter tops because of customer service!
Professional that cares about your home great prices great products installation available or prefab do it yourself products
Chuck was patient, helpful, and interested in getting us the perfect cabinets
First I would like to say that our initial experience with Cabinet Barn were very pleasant. Paul was very helpful and provided us with several choices and brands of cabinets to choose from. He presented some options that would work in our budget and was very patient. Even after some issues after the initial installment, they did express effort to make things right. BUT things swiftly declined at a rate that still make me sick to my stomach with confusion. BTW we choose KITH cabinets which I will never recommend to anyone. They were middle of the road in price, but were not at all great in construction. In several places little nails are showing and painting was not great (we chose white finish). I know that this has nothing to do directly with Cabinet barn. The men hired to do the installation damaged several doors with scratches and by not installing the hinges/doors correctly. Their solution was to use this crappy goop/paint to patch up the damage. Really? I honestly dont think that it is acceptable to spend several thousands and be okay with damage and dont understand why The Cabinet Barn would either. When we finally got a meeting scheduled to look at the damage Chuck was present. He acted very put out and annoyed about the whole situation. At no time was anyone apologetic to the damage. At this point I am pretty frustrated.... why should I feel bad that I dont want undamaged product? I showed Chuck and the installer all the damage. Seriously, almost all of this was avoidable with proper installation of hinges. Have they not installed these cabinets before? Any other reports of problems? We all leave this meeting with the understanding that all doors will be replaced. Done. I am optimistic.Initial instal took place in April... this meeting took place in May...In June the doors came in we get back on the installer schedule for July and they showed up at the house and didnt replace all the damaged doors, AND somehow installed them with the hinges damaging the doors AGAIN. Are you kidding me? I am so over this. Installer of course takes out the white goop and paint to fix them. Installer has no idea why all the doors were not given to them.I call Chuck to ask about the missing doors and he does not return my call. I call him back the afternoon of the next day and he says they are ordered. He does not know what happened the last time. That is all he has to say. He is very indifferent. Gee, I am so sorry to bother him. I ask him to email or call when he gets confirmation of when we might see them. Seriously..... he seems over this too. I understand that, but NOT MY PROBLEM. At what point do we stop getting any customer service? I have NEVER been rude... yelled or anything negative to them. Now I feel like they are just hoping I will give up and deal with the crap. Why do they care... they already got their money. Now I am just a annoyance to them. In no way have we ever asked The Cabinet Barn to do anything beyond what they promised to deliver. If this is an installer problem, then they need to deal with that. I would absolutely not recommend using them for the very reason that what happened to me could happen to you. I am sure that eventually they will get things resolved, but you will not get the customer service of a professional business. At this point I am hoping that we get the new doors this month. UPDATE: I find it Chucks response very sad. Unfortunately Google Review wont give me enough room to really respond to his response. He NEVER apologized to us until his response. We never had the final had the final drawings of the product we ordered. We change cabinet brands and were NOT notified that the bathroom vanity would change in function. Our fault for trusting that it was right when we walked out the door. We STILL have doors that touch up paint was used on. The doors that he is speaking of were receiving continuous damage from hinges. He can say what he wants, but he was not really wanting to replace them. When he kept getting bad doors he gave up. I worked with KITH to get the right doors.
Great cabinet work with in time.
You would think prices would be good but being across from Lowes makes them look really bad. The closer you look the more you want to leave.
Fabulous place
Good service
