This was by far, my best optical experience in 53 years. Taylor, was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable, which made the experience even better.I love my glasses and I look forward to doing more business with VisionWorks, in the future.

Im giving this place a 5 star because of the splendid service I have gotten from Kim. She really explained to me well what I was getting and what to expect. I know glasses are expensive and can cost depending on your prescription. So people doesnt need to complain if their glasses are overpriced, because they are plenty of places far more expensive. I suggest you go to Walmart. Overtime their frame wear out.

I always choose places by their ratings and after carefully combing through them to make 100% sure I am getting what I pay for. Let me start by saying Visionworks ITSELF has great employees on the glasses side. 200% loved all interactions. Now, the doctor....My first visit with the Dr was, like everyone has raved, alright and personable. I was texted several times a year later, that it was time for a check up, so I made an appointment. This time was not so pleseant. The doctor asked me why I was even there? When I said for my 1yr check up, he made a comment about being a sheep. No big deal, that is how he is. When he asked me about updates to my meds, that is when it took a left. The whole exam was completely focused on why I should not take this medication. Then he asked if the doc that gave them to me was male or female (like that matters), once I told him female, he began to rant about how females shouldnt even be allowed to drive and other very terrible things. I had a specialized exam of my retina done since COVID was not allowing him to do dilation. Once he viewed my photos, he told me everything that is wrong with your eyes is because you are a XXX/girl. (Insert med). He even wrote it in red on my chart. Nothing indicated this medication caused what is going on with my eyes as I had only been on the med for 90 days and any eye issues are RARE.Anyway, I have had to file a complaint with my insurance so I can go see an eye doc to find out what is actually wrong with my eyes! The ladies on the frames side are amazing and help me make great choices everytime. Yall may want to find a new provider!!!

Beware! DO NOT GO HERE! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!We had a eye doctor that was either senile or just ignorant. He wrote the complete wrong prescription causing us to wait 2 weeks for glasses that were completely wrong. I demanded a full refund and now have to find a new place to get glasses for myself and my husband who isa diabetic and has terrible eye disease. Believe me DO NOT use visionworks you will be completely DISAPPOINTED!

Never coming here again, the glasses were over priced ($700.00+ for prescription glasses that cost around 150 or less online). Each time I got my glasses the lenses would be scratched (Three times this happened). One time when I pointed this out to a female worker she rudely told me she didnt see any scratches even though I clearly pointed them out.

Always my go to place for a great selection of eye wear! Dr. Greenfield is very thorough, professional and personable! He and Diane worked diligently and patiently with my contact script/astigmatism ensuring just the right strength. Glasses prevailed! Luckily they have a great selection! I wouldnt go anywhere else!

We are very satisfied with Visionworks. My husband and I both get our eye exams and glasses at the Pensacola location. The Optometrist, Dr. Greenfield is very thorough and very people friendly. He takes time to answer all questions. The personnel, especially Jonathan, is very concerned to find the right frames for you and makes the experience of purchasing new glasses great. We went to vision works in Pensacola, purchased our glasses, when we recieved our glasses I wore mine for 2 weeks blisters appeared on my nose from the glasses,I couldnt get them adjusted correctly after many attempts at clinics near me,as it is a 45 min drive to Pensacola. We returned I wanted a restyle after much persuasion with them to let them realize I wasnt happy with the frame,they agreed ed to a restyle. I picked out a new frame. 14 days later I called to check on them and they had arrived, so I ho back to get them when she took them out of the cade i said oh thats not the frome I picked. She said oh yes it was. Well guess what they gave me the same frame back that I didnt like. It was like take these or do without. I know my lenses are expensive but,they say 100% satisfaction or replaced. So guess I have to live with a frame I dont like. Very discussed at this point. They dont stand behind their guarantee.

I received a promotional email with great prices on glasses. I checked Visionworks reviews even though I was rolling my eyes! We had to go to the mall anyway so we stopped by the store. I have learned that most advertised prices are usually really the starting price and end up much higher. Not true anymore! My husband and I both got 2 pair each for prices much less than the big box store where we always bought our glasses. A special note: Jon provided the best customer service that we have ever experienced. Amazing knowledge base about glasses and very gifted with impeccable styling sense and he even adjusted the glasses my husband wore into the store. It was truly like doing business with a friend that has a great sense of humor. Thank you, Jon. We will be your loyal customers!

The selection at this store is amazing. The staff is friendly and courteous. They were very attentive and understanding. My son was diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (autism) and the staff was very sensitive to his needs. We were able to find several pairs that my son loves. I highly recommend this company to anyone.

My time at Visionworks was by far the friendliest and most personal experience Ive ever had buying glasses. All the employees are very caring and knowledgeable. Jon was quick to offer input about what frames would most compliment my appearance, which I found extremely helpful. Dr. Greenfield not only did an excellent job on my exam, but went above and beyond to help me understand how my eye color is related to my getting tired so easily while driving at night and how anti-glare would help me. I will definitely be going to Visionworks from now on.

The optometrist was great but Visionworks staff were terrible, they lack the skills for dealing with people. There was a defect in my glasses but they wouldnt listen, literally called me a liar. The staff is to arrogant to admit fault and will create an excuse to avoid having to do their jobs. Great doctor and great inventory just purge the staff and youll be on top.

Wow! Jason encouraged me to take my time and ask questions. He didnt just sell me glasses, he helped me pick the right shape for my prescription, which I never knew made a difference, but Wow! And he was very patient as I dive into bi-focals helping me make good decisions there! They have a horrible filing system. They swear they did not fill an eye glass prescription for me yet I know for a fact they did. I eleven went as far as calmly every possible optical place that I’ve ever been to in the past couple of years and nothing in the past year which is when it would have been filled. They advertised a sale for Buy 1 Get 1. Unfortunately, if you have insurance, you cannot get this deal. You can get your second pair at half off, but not free. Ok, thats fine. Except I just spent time shopping for a pair of glasses that I thought I would get free, and instead, I now have to either pay for them at half off, not free, or get just one pair of glasses. No where on their sign does it say that you cannot get the Buy 1 Get 1 if you are using insurance. Terrible, terrible advertising. And the guy helping us, once someone finally offered to help us, wasnt the brightest. Nice enough, but not all there and doesnt listen well. And it didnt help that we bounced through 3 computers before he was able to find one that actually worked in order to help us with our order. Terrible service.Edit: I was contacted by the general manager of this location Tracy who was not at all understanding and just down right rude. I understand that the corporate Visionworks makes the signage, however, when there is a misunderstanding, it should be addressed. Not told that no one has ever complained before. Very rude. As a general manager, she was very rude even though I just want it known that the signage is confusing and the associates should be more friendly and forthcoming with their deals. They knew we had insurance when we walked in and should have told us which deal we qualify for. But it took the associates long enough to offer assistance.

Staff was very nice... Dr. Greenfield however, has issues. When something like this happens it is amazing how much one tries to rationalize and excuse misbehavior. Probing personal questions? Maybe he is just bad at small talk. Repeatedly referencing his eye dilation drops as Love drops? Maybe he is trying to make them less scary? But how the hell do you explain or rationalize Do you like to talk dirty? Really hope this was some bizarre one-off, will never happen to anyone else situation... But I doubt it. If this happened to you, or if it does happen to you, just know you are NOT alone. This man behaves in a predatory manner.

Our experience was terrible! The glasses weren’t ready on time; salespeople promised everything - delivered nothing. Coating began to crack and peel less than two months after getting them. Was told they would be replaced if anything went wrong within one year, but when we took them in they said we didn’t buy the warranty, which was never mentioned at time of purchase. Would never do business with Visionworks again.

I was scoping out a new place to bring the rest of my family. Unfortunately I will never recommend Visionworks. I made a first time appointment based on the majority of reviews here. I visited a few days prior to my appointment to look around while it wasnt very busy and the place seemed pleasant. They have a good selection, and the staff was friendly at the time. Fast forward to the day of my appointment, it wasnt extremely busy, but all staff members were occupied and it took close to 30 minutes just to get any form of acknowledgement only to be rushed to the other side for more waiting. Long story short, I ended up walking out prior to the exam.

This is the only eye glass shop I can go into and not feel rushed and not get upsold on a pair of frames. I typically see Jon when I am there and I he will tell me if what I think looks good for the shape of my face, is indeed not. I have been to other eye glass purveyors and they will tell me these frames look great on you, only to find out the cost over $300 and I look silly in them. If you want a quality experience with a little humor built in, pay them a visit.

My second year getting glasses at this location and they are fantastic. Professional and friendly. Kim is a national treasure!

They doubled booked my appointment, told me it was policy, and I just had to wait in line.Positive: they worked with my insurance, and quickly got glasses and contacts for me the first time.Negative: the prescription was off, so I scheduled a follow-up appt at 2:30, Mon. Come in at 2:30, was told to wait because it would be a while as their 2:30 had just arrived. Confused, I said, Sorry? I scheduled the appt for 2:30. She told me that they scheduled follow-up appts like mine at the same time as new prescriptions appts, and it was first come first serve, and then the other had to wait. I said, Then reschedule me for Wed. She threw up her hands, and started to say something, cut her off, I only have a half hour lunch break, when I scheduled for 2:30, I EXPECTED to HAVE an appt at 2:30, I was not told otherwise about your policy. She grumbled throughout rescheduling me, again. Well see if they push me on Wed too...

This place is terrible. First they refused to schedule both my wife and I for back to back exams on a Sunday. I was told the doctor refuses to do this for family members on Sunday due to people not showing up. Are you kidding me? Ridiculous! Then when we did schedule back to back appointments on a Saturday, we were called the day before to let is know they were cancelling our Saturday appointments. Apparently the doctor is out of town and they had no idea when the doctor would be able to start taking appointments. Forget it...I’ll go someplace else.

I Walked into a dead store on a Sunday looking to get a contact exam. I have the Cadillac plan for vision an only owe a 10 dollar copay. The lady was obviously lazy an didnt feel like helping because it was on a Sunday. An said itll be a 60 dollar fee out of pocket.... I went elsewhere an paid my 10 dollars........

Staff at visionworks are super sweet, helpful, and courteous. I enjoy going in there and have never had any issues. Dr. Greenfield, is pleasant and makes getting an eye exam a fun experience. From some of the comments below insist that folks felt uncomfortable by his tactics but I sense a bit of uptightness and the need to lighten up. He’s a man with a wife and grandkids...he could care less about these reviews anyway! But I couldn’t sit back and not post something positive after seeing someone try to demean the man.
