Amazing experience going there for a contacts exam. The exam was the most thorough I have had before. There was no pressure to buy after the exam. I would highly recommend.

Extremely fast and very easy to deal with. Quality product. Took me trying several different contact lenses which required multiple prescription changes. They were extremely nice about it and got me fixed up much faster than anywhere else I’ve ever dealt with.

What a well oiled machine! I was there on time but made a mistake on my insurance information. They followed up with my insurance company, did my exam, my daughters exam, and we took 40 minutes picking frames but I was still out of there in 70 minutes with glasses in hand. As a family we needed four pairs of glasses. Stephanie worked several different options to get us the best deal and Ashley was knowledgeable and speedy. What an exceptional business!

Seriously, I respect and appreciate this place so much! Last year I went to a local eyeglass place that advertises cheap prices, and while the style was cute, they didn’t hardly last a year in terms of quality and ultimately they fell apart. The quality of glasses at OPTi club are awesome, and that’s how, I as a consumer, make my decision to return again and again to this location.But what I want to add onto this review is that both Dr. Boyd and Dr. East are excellent and thorough optometrists, quirky sense of humor I enjoyed and really good at what they do.And then the people who work on the glasses side of the house are just outstanding with customer service. They helped me fill out my insurance forms and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the purchase and that I had good quality lenses. The price was very decent with the buy one get one deal. I got great designer frames at a good price and they were done in 30 min, no joke. Thanks!

Since 2005 Ive been to several different optometrists in the area around Pensacola, Ft. Walton, Niceville, and Crestview, and this place is by far the best! We dont live in Pensacola anymore, but its still worth the 1 hour drive. They will mail glasses to you if needed which is very helpful. The optometrists are great and the staff are very welcoming and willing to work with you to find the best frames/lenses for your needs. Highly recommended!

I called Opti-Club before we went because we wanted to make sure he would get his glasses the same day. The lady on the phone said you will leave with his glasses same day. So we go over there and I let my 6 year old pick out his glasses and then they tell me Im sorry, we wont have them ready until Tuesday. Im like WHAT!!! If I had known I wouldve gone else where. The whole point in going there to start with is so we could have them same day. Also, the person helping us looked at me stupid when I asked her to give me a break down of why it was so much more than It sounded like it shouldve been when I have really good vision insurance.

I had the best experience this afternoon. My only pair of glasses broke, and I am not someone that can get by without a pair. I called around and another competitor recommended Opti-Club since they had a lab on site. From the moment I called to see if it was even possible to get a replacement in my prescription, they more than gracious. Krista helped with my prescription, provided me with an excellent replacement, and just overall amazing service. Thank you Krista and staff!

Had a bit of a weird situation where I came in with a pair of specialty frames that just needed prescription lenses (sensitive electronics contained within the frames) and had been blown off by two other stores. The nice woman that I initially spoke to asked to take the frames to the back to speak with someone to see if they could accommodate me, and I was fully expecting to hear that they couldnt. Instead, she came back and said that they could. I was amazed that they could cut and fit the lenses right there same day without having to have lenses shipped in, and I was in and out in less than 30 mins with my new lenses, which blew my mind. Best experience Ive ever had at an eyeglass place, and although they were a bit more expensive than other places Id checked on, Ill go here from now on for anything I need.

I went to Opti-Club today for the first time. (I made an appointment due to all of the wonderful reviews.) When I walked in, it was quite busy and i wasnt really sure where to go to check in for my 4pm appointment. I saw a desk and I after a few seconds, someone came to greet me. I sat down and filled out my check in form, and waited to be called. After about 10-15 minutes they called me back for my eye pressure test, measurement of eyes, etc. After that I went back into the lobby. Then it got to be about 4:45 and they put me into an exam room, but told me I was just waiting there and would be moved to another room when ready. Eventually I was moved to the other room. I didnt see the eye doctor (Doctor East) until close to 5:30. So thats my only dislike, is that I waited for what felt like forever.However, once the doctor came, everything went smoothly and he was very nice. After that, I was helped by a lady who helped me find eyeglass frames. She was super helpful, patient and kind. I know they were close to closing, but I never felt rushed and was given every detail about my purchases of frames and lenses.Overall, great visit. I know they were busy, so I wasnt that upset, however, I did wait quite a bit but because of the service, Ill be back again!

Today was my first time visiting this place! I called early in the morning and got an appointment the same day! The doctor was wonderful knowledgeable and polite. I’ve seen probably ten docs because I’ve worn glasses most of my life. The exam itself was the least thorough I’ve experienced. I’ve never not been shown completely clear slides.The doc was slightly condescending, and seemed in a rush. I’ve had issues in the past when it comes to docs ignoring my astigmatism since it’s slight, he almost did the same.The intake gal was cool though, the place is nice, and the pricing was fair.

They were able to get me in quickly and the Doctor was great. I was also able to order my contacts through them and they made that process so seamless, I ended up buying more contacts than I usually would.

Wow. I see why this place has 5 stars. I dont know how the service couldve been any better. Sarah and Stephanie are AMAZING.My young daughter needed her first pair of glasses and she started getting very fussy while in store. The staff was so kind. They worked with me on insurance and went out of their way to make sure I got glasses I could afford. Needing eyeglasses to enable passing Drivers License test the same day. God lead me to Opti Club at 8:30 a.m. Sara was understanding of our urgency. She helped get frames and scheduled our appointment at 11:30 with Dr. BurchelleAt 1:30 p.m. we were back to DMV and PASS THE EYE EXAM...Every person on staff was kind, helpful and very friendly to calm our frustration and complete our need.

In January my Mother, Father, Brother and I had eye exams and got glasses at Option Club.Dr. East was so nice, kind and patient with my elderly parents, and brother, who is autistic. He explained things and did not rush, as many Doctors do. Krista and Stephanie helped us pick out frames. They showed us many styles and helped us get styles that suited our facial features. We all love our glasses. My progressive lenses are great. Krista explained them to me and I got use to them quickly.A great experience. Highly recommend.

The kids and I went there about a year and a half ago after several people recommended Dr. East. The whole staff is great. I love it how Dr. East explains what he is doing or is about to do as he is checking your eyes. We didnt get glasses at that time cause they didnt carry our insurance then. They do now though and my hubby just went on Monday and had the same great experience from the Dr. and the staff. We were there as a family and they were very attentive and made sure he got the best deal possible on his new glasses. The kids and I will be going back in the next couple of weeks for our turn. :-)

I went in not having received an eye glass exam in over 5 years. Doctor was very nice and very patient with all the questions I had. The Doctors staff is even more amazing and friendly! They were very helpful in helping me locate just what I wanted. The price took my breath away. I spent on the last cheap pair at another store was exuberant amount compared to the price they gave me for not just one pair but two pairs of glasses! They do let you do two split payments for glasses if you need to make payments. Over all, I am very satisfied with the business I received here!

After researching on-line for cycling specific prescription sunglasses, I knew I wanted Oakley frames and lenses, but wanted to buy local. Optic club was listed as a Oakley dealer, so I stopped in. Stephanie helped me through this process and was extremely patient with me and brought out numerous frames for me to try. After more discussion and research on the Oakley site in the store I placed my order. My order arrived sooner than expected and the prescription glasses were perfect. This was an expensive purchase ( but cheaper than ANY on-line dealer] and my first time using Opti Club, but it will not be my last. Thank you!!

This is a place that focuses on customer service, value for your dollar, and timeliness. I got my glasses and my wifes glasses in 1 hour. And were werent even in a hurry; they are just that fast. We got 2 pairs of glasses for the price of one and they even let my wife get my second pair. Or you can get a pair of sunglasses and a regular pair. Awesome deal, all the high end, middle, and no brand name glasses. Extremely wide selection and they really are patient while you chose. They are never rude and they take their time with your selection. And if you need more time, they will let u take all the time you need. Customer service, 5 🌟, value 5 🌟, product 5 🌟. Most glasses done on site and fast. I paid out right for mine, no insurance and I still thought it was a great price. Cant say how much I paid because this deal was a limited time, plus frames and prescription prices vary. I came here last year and had a good experience, and this year was even better. The optometrist is very caring and takes his time. The exam is also a good price. Its not free or cheap but very well priced, not expensive and the great service will keep me coming back. I wish most service industries were like this.

My son has been seeing Dr. East since he was 3 yrs old. At that time NO ONE in Pensacola would see him due to his age (?). We where referred to Mobile Spclst. Unfortunately he was NOT an in contract participant (out of state). It was a miserable experience...until I found Dr. East. He saved this Moms sanity. He is VERY knowledgeable in childrens optic disease, disorders and dysfunction. As I understand he secured multiple further education fellowships specific to pediatric optic disease. This was essential in my sons case. Dr. East as a father himself has crafted the ability to clearly communicate with the youngest in order to gain the crucial information/data required to get those peepers seeing with clarity. He is also quite gifted in communication with parents. Which in my opinion is far more difficult and tricky. This is does with was and grace. We are grateful to him. So yes hes a good doctor, more importantly hes a very pleasant, kind, compassionate, understanding and patient man who happens to be a gifted communicator and well educated eye doctor. This is mine and my husbands opinion based on 7 yrs exexperience as our sons eye doctor.

I am a businessman on the road. I needed a tweak of single vision glasses from last years glasses and went to Dr. David L. East, O. D. at this optical center for an exam. He was preoccupied with the beginning cataract in my left eye and wanted to set me up with his associate for surgery. I told him that I will get surgery soon enough and I see quite well out of my right eye. He was not very pleased. This clown tells me that even young people are electing for this cataract surgery to get rid of glasses, pitching me. He wrote me out a faulty prescription that was way out of kilter. I guess he was selling cataract surgery that day. I did not want to pay the high prices at his dispensary for glasses and went elsewhere in town and filled the prescription. Blurry...Bad Prescription. Went back over to this Dr. David East for a re-check and this so called Doctor says roughly, I will give you your money back and you go find yourself another Doctor. No, I said. Not gonna happen. Please recheck and give me a proper prescription. Without even putting me in the chair, this charlatan writes out another script different from the first one on the spot at the counter. He Must be Psychic not to even re-examine my vision....or does Not Care.Rude, Cocky and Abusive.WARNING - STAY AWAY....STAY AWAY....STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!P.S. I had a extra pair of wire glasses of the old prescription and went home and bent them at an angle and see 20-20.

I can’t believe it took me so long to find opti club. They are professional and customer service is incredible. I went in on a Saturday ordered glasses and sunglasses and picked them up the following Saturday. I won’t go anywhere other than opti club again. Jill was prompt at pre-examining me and getting me into an exam room. Dr. East, as always, is very pleasant and easy to understand. He explains all aspects of what I need, or even dont need, in great detail. He is honest and trustworthy. He takes as much time that is needed to give me the best quality of care. Although I do not need corrective lenses, my wife does. We were very impressed with the selection of frames that opti-club had. Had the worst experience here.They broke my glasses adjusting it. That in itself is bad enough but not only did I not get an apology I also got a manager with an attitude.I did get new glasses to replace the broken one along with a rude and unfeeling speech.I dont care that you replaced my glasses for free. They were my favorite pair and an extension of myself. All I wanted was an apology for the mistake made.Thank you Dr. for the many years of service but unfortunately I will not be back to see you.

My wife and I have used Opti-Club since they opened on Davis Highway. We recently made a last minute stop there while we were in Pcola. Dr. East and all the staff were extremely helpful in working us in as walk-ins for complete eye exams. Both of our exams were complete within a short time and Krysta helped us with frames and contacts. Everything was professional and certainly customer oriented. Customer service is their specialty as they have proven that over the years.
