Awesome staff. Ronica was very pleasant and helpful. She even hooked my trailer up for me while I rattled off stale and absurd jokes. Excellent experience. Drop off was the same as pick up. Highly recommended location.

There was a few minor mixups that got me a little heated but the manager Jeff went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I would definitely recommend.

I am more than pleased with this location. Michael and Christina are wonderful people. They work hard to help their customers needs. I feel like my belongings are safe at this location storage. So what if their location is on a busy road, so are a lot of U-haul places. Their location has nothing to d with the fact they are the best location I have been to that makes me feel SAFE!!!! Had to drop a trailer off at this location after hours. Laura was very helpful and accommodating. When above and beyond the normal services of a u-haul company.

Had 5th wheel hitch installed by service technician Sean. He was very helpful and provided excellent customer service. Highly recommend and definitely would do business there again.

Real talk, if you have anything else to do after trying to complete the simple task of refilling a propane tank, forget it. The employees at this Uhaul DO NOT Care about the customers time. Its a very good chance you will spend upwards to 30-45min trying to get a refill, with no other customers present. The general apathy of everyone present is the infuriating part. Do not go here if you have things to do. YOU WILL LEAVE VERY FRUSTRATED.

I recently used Penske for the same size truck (20), and decided to choose U-Haul this time because the advertised price was better. The advertised price for a 20 U-Haul truck is $39.95. The representatives at the location did not explain the mileage charge, and my in-town rental of a 20 truck for fewer than 12 hours and less than 50 miles travel was over $100. I will not use U-Haul again, and will not recommend the business to my friends.

I have used this location so many times and Ive always been pleased. The staff are friendly and fast. The equipment is in excellent condition. Ive never had any stress or difficulty when interacting with them. Everything is well explained and true to promises.

After being on the road 2 days with our first ever experience pulling a trailer from U-Haul, we entered this facility in exhaustion and desperation. Our trailer had a door that would not open! (The location we had originally set up our rental with directed us to this Davis Hwy location and indicated they had never heard of door that would not open dilemma. ......They had also sold us the wrong hitch for the height of our vehicle...main cause for our problem, as the trailer sloped backward and contents had slide back against the door). Well, we appeared UNANNOUNCED at this location...on a hot day and were met with Jeffery and Rachel who went right to work resolving our problem by using a fork lift to bounce the load and got the door open! Additionally, Rachel replaced our hitch with one that should have been utilized for a Jeep Grand Cherokees height. SO HELPFUL AND POSITIVE. These two COMMENDABLE employees totally salvaged my feelings toward U-Haul and I would happily work with them in the future.

Dirty truck. Dried ketchup all over the back of the truck. Cigarette smoke smell inside the truck. Broken gas gauge so that resulted in an overcharge. Manager said dont worry about it when I reported it, then it took 2 weeks of dealing with cooperate to get my refund. Poor management and poor customer service.

We came in for a reservation and our van had a blown fuse which caused the running lights to not work. Heather and Ted were able able to find and replace it. They were extremely helpful and got us on our way quickly.

They were super fast to get my new hitch installed. I was really glad I used this bigger shop. They seemed like they could use a few more employees though. Everyone was too busy and overworked. Regardless they were very nice and even found the blown fuse on my hybrid lexus. The fuse was in the engine compartment. A place I would not have thought to check. The mechanic was very knowledgable.

For the second time in a month, the location failed to have both reserved vans available - leaving usto scramble to rent from a location across town. Staff and management/owners seem to not care for the inconvieniencen nor did they even offer something as much as a sorry. I am HIGHLY disappointed and will never rent from this location or U-haul for business needs again.

Every time I go there, there’s usually only 1-2 people working. Service is so slow and time consuming. There’s always problems with someone and thier contract. I’ve seen them deal with the same customer for over 25 minutes almost every time. I need equipment so I tolerate it. And when they get done with a customer, they will disappear like going on a break. Ridiculous.

Service staff is always busy but they try their best to get you going. The company itself I am not happy with. The trucks come with a dolly and furniture pads in the back of the truck whether you want it or not. This takes up space in the truck preventing you from utilizing all the available space. Also, if you inadvertently break a seal on the pads or dolly, you get charged as if you used them. This is a set up and a waste of truck space.I did enjoy the low height of the truck.

THESE ARE THE WORST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD TO RENT A TRUCK FROM IN PENSACOLA, FL.!!! I CALLED TO GET A PICK-UP TRUCK TODAY AND WAS SENT TO THE CALL CENTER. THE LADY ASSURED ME THAT IT WAS NOT PROBLEM, SO MY SON WENT THROUGH ALL THE HASSLE TO GO OVER THERE, WAIT AND THEN WAS TOLD IT WOULD NOT BE READY UNTIL FRIDAY AT 5:00!!! THEY SUCK, THEY SUCK, THEY SUCK!!!

I made a reservation to pick up a tow dolly a week ahead of time. I called to confirm 24 hours before pick up. When I arrived there were 4 dollies, but they said none were working properly. They were dollies, not mechanically complicated, but they couldnt fix any (one had a broken tail light). They sent me somewhere 20 minutes out of my way (each way, because I had to return). No interest in customer service, no courtesy call so I could go directly to other location and not lose time there, no call to the other location to let them know to get reservation ready or give info. ahead of time, no polite word or care. Im a completely satisfied return customer from this store for our vehicle/trailer modifications! They pay attention to the details in their installation/wiring work. Originally, this store had to fix a trailer hitch debacle that was caused by another uhaul location out of state. Not only did they fix the terrible work, they started over and replaced everything as new. This shop was so abhorred at the job, they called the original location to advise the manager about the incompetent work and they refunded the money. Obviously, the different stores vary with their knowledge and expertise throughout the country... if you are reading the reviews for hitch install, this shop will take care of you.

This business needs new management, different workers, or maybe even just more workers.. honestly I don’t know but something needs to changeThis was the slowest/most unorganized experience of my life. It took us 30 minutes to buy one box with only two people ahead of us. The lady in front of us was told she couldn’t buy the boxes she had in her hand because they “weren’t in the system”

EDIT: A year later and still piss poor service. Went to return a truck, and a service tech literally RAN to the door to lock it and turn off the open sign as I was walking up. Yes, it was 5 mins to closing, but what the for is wrong with people? It takes 2 seconds to return a truck.USE A DIFFERENT LOCATIONIve used Uhaul many times because I love their trucks compared to others.But this location has poor customer service, and poor treatment. I actually had to file a complaint in which the upper management helped to make things right.Also, there is no reason that I shouldnt be able to trade out large boxes for ones of a smaller size. It is clear that they havent been used, and I just have too many. I know you need a receipt to get a refund, but if I am giving them large boxes, for small ones, it may be a few cents but they are making more money off of the trade. I am essentially loosing money for God sake.

Extremely lengthy both to get a truck and return it. Probably about 45 minutes or more each way. Seems very unorganized. Nice staff but the process could be improved to be 5x more efficient.

Although the people I spoke to at this U-Haul location were perfectly kind, they outright lied to me about what my reservation meant and the availability of trucks at their store. I had read other reviews of u-haul that discussed issues of reserving to pick up at one location and last minute being told to pick up at a completely different location. I was worried this would be the case with me because I reserved the truck with some short notice. I called to ask if they would have a truck available to make sure it was going to be ok or to get a heads up that plans were going to change (which would have been fine because I realized that my short notice might change things/cause issues). I told Ryan, the representative that answered the phone, about my concerns, and he assured me that there would definitely be a truck at their location for me to pick up and that they literally always have a 10 truck on the lot available for pick up, so I felt like everything was taken care of. A few hours later, I received an email from u-haul stating that I would be picking up at some wireless store in the middle of nowhere and that even there I would have to settle for a 15 truck because there wasnt a 10 available. This news was a shock to me after Ryans reassurances. Although I realize that plans change and issues occur, I would have really preferred an honest answer to my questions about the reservation to an outright lie that gave me false hope about what was about to happen with my reservation. If youre looking for an honest business to rent a moving truck from, from my experience, I would recommend you look elsewhere than the U-Haul at 7220 N Davis Hwy in Pensacola.

Except for 1 guy, these are the slowest moving employees . They are under staffed & not very organized . They need a better & faster manager . Enough said .

Located on a very busy road. I also got a storage unit. First months free. After that, almost $100 a month. They also make you buy there locks. Another $15.

Sent me on my way with the wrong contract for the wrong truck. Arrived at drop off and spent 1.5 hrs trying to straighten out. Numerous phone conversations with manager and she would adjust bill and said her manager would call, never did. Very poor customer service and buidiness ethic.

Great staff at this location and I had some bad ones in Pensacola. Both locations on Davis Hwy are top notch.

I am still waiting to have my issue fixed. When i arrived at this location i had functioning brake lights for my pickup truck. Upon renting the trailer an employee named Byron noticed the trailer brake lights wouldnt workAfter 30 minutes of diagnostic work it was revealed my trailer box was faulty. I paid for a new electrical box to be installed. 45 mins later the owner Jeff says my trucks brake lights dont work and he cant rent the trailer. I ask him why since i was 100% certain i had brake lights to begin with. He cant give an answer or fix the issue his tech caused. I paid $93 for this trailer box then i have to take my truck to debroux automotive and pay them $47 to fix uhauls mistake: a faulty towing box. When i confront the owmer jeff he says he wont refund me my money or reimburse for the damage his tech caused. He stated the tech left 10 mins before i returned and he would call me back the next day. The next day I call him and he is busy. Eventually he gets back to me and says in 5-7 business days he will have the right part and give me a discount on a trailer rental. I ask how much of a discount and he says he doesnt know. None of these promises were made to me on paper just over the phone. I am still waiting to be resolved.UPDATE: Jeff has resolved mybissue and I should be all set to rent my trailer for my trip.

Jeffery, manager, went out of his way to locate and go get from another store the newer wiring for my trailer hitch that had gone bad. A recall from so many problems. 3 kits had been installed and all quit working - no brake lights or blinkers.. the staff was extremely helpful and patient with everyone.

Good service, there was one person working but it went fairly quickly.

The gentleman who was at the drop off location when we wanted to drop the truck off couldnt help us with the drop off procedure so we had to wait till the next day. While we were parking the truck, this gentleman showed someone else a truck and began directing them to pull out in front of us while he witnessed that we were trying to park....ugggh.

In May of 2015 I got a trailer hitch installed with the wiring to go with it. After waiting about 45 mins after my appointment time they got my truck in and took about 2 hrs to get it installed. Everything appeared to be working until a week or so later when I started having issues. I was getting warnings from my truck saying right rear blinker failure then left rear then right and left and so on. Needless to say I had to bring it back in to a Uhaul. At a Uhaul (in a different state) I had it checked by the Tech who had to replace the box that the wires connect into because the tech in Pensacola wired the ground wire where the turn signal wire goes and causing the box to short out. Would not recommend them inless you enjoy wasting your time there and then again somewhere else to get it fixed.

From a managerial stand point, the customer service was below par. Our uhaul rep was inconsiderate and seemed annoyed by our simple questions as it was our first time to rent from uhaul. I wouldnt suggest this place. And major bummer... they didnt have a military discount on rentals.

I reserved a u-haul truck here and on the day of the move they told me they didn’t have the truck and I had to go to a further location and didn’t get anything for the mail mistake made. Then the lady there just told me there nothing she can tell me. Terrible customer service.

Their service is not very good. It takes a long time to rent one truck. And sometimes renting a truck online can be difficult when you go into the location and they don’t even have the truck, the prices are alright. They can try and charge you nickel and dime for each thing you do though. Overall, I would use them for any large truck rental service just be prepared to wait.

This place is terrible and the people they have working there is Awful and dont know how to talk to the customers I will never go there again. I will spend my money elsewhere.
