I had a very good experience, which I expected, its Acura. My salesman, Benjamin, was the epitome of what I expected, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and very willing to meet my needs. In other words, he was/is a true professional.I dropped in to see if I could possibly afford a TLX, which Benjamin showed that I could. I was surprised and happy. The TLX is a beautiful car. If youre interested, even remotely, go see Benjamin, hell take care of you.

I recently was traveling from Ohio to Wisconsin with my two daughters and unknowingly hit road debris that became lodged under my MDX. Acura Roadside was able to coordinate a tow truck for us; however, due to COVID issues we were unable to ride in truck with driver. I outreached to Bob Lindsay Acura (where I was being towed) and spoke with Mark the Service Manager. He was nothing short of kind and accommodating. Mark pulled a staff member, Clay, to drive a hour to pick the three of us up. Fortunately, the tow truck driver was able to fix our issue without towing us; but Mark and Clays willingness to help was greatly appreciated. Acura is fortunate to have employees, like Mark and Clay, promoting their brand and making loyal customers. Thank you again to Mark and Clay for outstanding service!!!

Spent some time looking around and visiting dealerships over the past few weeks. I kept going back to an Acura TLX as my choice. I made a phone call to Bob Lindsay Acura. I talked with Tim Lipsey explaining I have a strong interest in one of the vehicles listed in their inventory. Tim informed me he wanted to put hands on the vehicle to ensure they still have it. He confirmed it was in stock. Perfect, we set an appointment, where I learned it was his day off. I told him I can make another day. Not necessary, I would be happy to meet with you. On arrival the car I was interested in was inside a customer viewing area. The car was spotless!!! What I found really amazing is every employee I encountered during my time walking around looking, both inside and outside of the building greeted me. I came prepared with research on the vehicle I was interested in. Not needed, they exceeded those figures in their offer. I received what I considered a very fair deal for both of us. Amazingly I went through a seamless very professional negotiation and purchase. My experience here rates this dealership and staff as Fantastic!!!3-13-18 Im back for an oil change and tire rotation.Honsetly this is the best dealership I have dealt with. They definitely are interested in their customers first. No pressure sales at all.

I haven’t dealt with their sales department - my rating is for their service department. I drove from an hour and a half away to get work done in relation to a recall. I call twice ahead of time to verify the work the that needed to be done and also about additional work I wanted done. I called to make sure I understood what would happen, the time frame and the price. Once I arrived, I was told completely different information - which would require me to bring my vehicle back 3 more times. They did make a concession later that I could bring my vehicle to a different location closer to me for the other visits- but this should have been explained on the front end and saved me so much time.Finally, I asked for the window of time to confirm how long it would be, based on what I had been told previously. The lady told me the time and I said, ‘if it will be any longer than that, please let me know as soon as possible’. I brought my children with me and drove a long distance so if it would be different than that, obviously we do not want to be sitting in the dealership any longer than necessary. She cane out after the agreed amount of time and then told me that it would be even longer, doubling the amount of time for us to be here.They should be upfront about expectations about work being done and the time that it requires. Very disappointed. We are in the market for a new car and definitely won’t be buying one here, no matter how great the reviews are for the sales department.On the plus side, they do have a nice waiting area, which when got to see in our extended time here.

This was without a doubt, the best vehicle purchase experience Ive had in my long life. Bob Lindsay and the people that worked with me, Benjamin Shafer & Sandy Schmidt, were beyond helpful. NO PRESSURE at all. The SUV I bought there was easy to review online, easy to test drive with Benjamin, and easy to buy with Benjamins & Sandys help. I received a loaner vehicle so I was able to limit the amount of time away from work. I even got my RDX back cleaned. The service was awesome.

We just bought a new Acura here a couple of weeks ago. Our salesman John was very nice, professional and attentive. The entire process was pretty seamless. I would just have to add, this dealership is not very willing to deal at all. They will make you shop around and then come back to them with your lowest quote on the car you want, then they will most likey match it. Overall, this was a positive experience.

I live almost 2 hours away and have a squeaking noise come out from my car.The noisy goes away a the long drive, I have to wait 4-5 hours? Till the squeaking noisy goes away and they will be able to start diagnostic my car which is make sense. But the down side is they won’t let me have a loaners car, it’s only for people who bought the car from them 😱Very nice customer service. Mind just say it’s just for locals.Well I better drive to Chicago, at least they give me loaner car as long the service take more than 1 hour, and lot of things I can do while waiting for my car to get done 😊

This my second service appointment with Bob Lindsay. I live in Bloomington, but they pick up my car, leave me with a loaner, and perform the required service for my vehicle. I normally do not write reviews but this is our 4th interaction with this dealership in little over a year and every time there is some sort of mix up or issue that requires us to follow up with them. I can honestly say I would not recommend purchasing from this dealership or visiting their service department. Particularly because this is a luxury dealership, it is even more disappointing that the professionalism of the service department specifically has been lackluster and even rude on some of the occasions.

My experience at this dealership, from start to finish, was excellent. From the first call I made, to driving off the lot, the people here were wonderful, Tim Lipsey in Sales answered all my questions, returned calls quickly, and was excellent to work with. We quickly reached a deal and I flew out the next week to pick up the car. The car was exactly as it appeared in the photos online and as described by Tim. I had the WORST experience that I have ever encountered at any place tonight. I just got home from visiting BL Acura and worked with the rudest salesman I have ever come across. Benjamin, was very nasty about the time I came in as I wanted to get some information about the RDX. I explained to him I was considering leasing and he started talking about how long he has been at the dealership. If you were too tired to provide decent customer service, you could have asked someone else to step in so you could go home. I was very rushed, I came around 7:45p.m. just to get information and as soon as he found out I was not planning to purchase he was rude. I see a lot of posts saying that the purchasers did not feel rushed, I felt the exact opposite. He told me, even on the test drive to “let’s get going because I have been here for 12 hours”. He said it again, when I asked for a print out of information after the test drive. I told him, he needed to speak to his management team if his hours are not working for him. He stood up and said “I have had enough tonight” he said it is offensive when “you come before we are about to close. I asked him for his name he said “take a card and feel free to complain”. You all have lost new business. There are so many car dealers and tolerating rudeness is not in my top 5 things todo for the day. I explained to him that his attitude was disgusting.

Mark Fjelstad (Service Manager) was able to identify the warranty issue on my 2017 Acura RDX. Mark worked with the technical area in California to understand what was causing the constant spikes in error messages. Since I live 90 miles from the dealership he made arrangements to provide a loaner vehicle while my vehicle was being repaired. Julia Jenkins was gracious enough to meet me half the distance to make the vehicle swap. Both Mark and Julia followed up after the repairs to see if things were working as expected.

Jims team including Tim Lipsey and Sandy Schmidt did an incredible job getting us through the car buying process. Obviously finding and purchasing the right car can be nerve wrecking, and after going to over 12 car dealers across Chicago and Peoria, we settled for a new 2019 RDX from Bob Lindsay. They were able to get the car we wanted within a week and made the process very smooth. The most important thing for me was that we didnt feel rushed at all. Also had a great after-buying experience, which, from my experience is rare cause many dealers couldnt care less after youve bought the car. Lastly cheers to Acura for the awesome redesign to the model, although I wish I could have had some of features of the advanced package on the A-spec.
