Dr. Dameron is the best! I always like how informative she is and I know she cares about her patients eye health. Oh and DRINK MORE WATER! ;) haha!
I have been a patient of bard optical for over a decade, both at the metro center location and now Grand Prairie. I won’t go anywhere else for eye exams and lenses. Everyone if always friendly, they take to time to know their customers. The opticians and doctors are all knowledgeable and professional. Best service!

The staff is friendly and the customer service is great. The girl was courteous and helpful . The doctor was professional,friendly and knowledgeable.a quite place with a good atmosphere . I’ll have my new 👓glasses 👓in a few days. They don’t have enough options to choose glasses frame L2707 “Colors”.

I should give it two stars because the front staff was very friendly and welcoming. However, the optometrist was unprofessional. We are on Medicaid and I firmly believe that patients on state funded insurance get treated completely different. Once we entered the exam room the dr spent a total of two minutes with my son and never shut the exam room door! How can you complete an eye exam in that time frame? We are past patients with Illinois Eye Center and I never once felt like I was treated any differently. The only reason we had to switch was because the Medicaid insurance changed and Illinois Eye Center no longer accepted it. I hope others were and will be treated with better service than I was.
I am really conflicted on this review. When I first went in for my new glasses I was thrilled! The staff was attentive and very helpful. I got my new glasses in about a week and thats when the trouble started. The new glasses I received had the gunmetal coating flaking off in less than 24 hours. After a lot of research I found out the nearly every frame Barf carries is made in China. My Polo and RayBan glasses Ive had for 7+ years were NOT made in China and therefore they are still in great shape I spoke with Rachel and she was super helpful and agreed to let me exchange the glasses.I went to a different Bard store with more frames and the first lady I spoke with had the why are you bothering me attitude the whole time. A different Rachel helped me pick a new pair which I then waited about 2 weeks for. I got the new pair and they are great. I feel though, that when payingnearly $200 for frames, they should be of top quality and be inspected before delivering to the Customer.One thing I would suggest fixing though, is that there is no posted ex.hange policy that I could find. If there is one, it should be made more public if theisnt one, then I thank Rachel for helping me out, but had it been a the person from store #2, I dont think I would be in the same position.
Ordered contacts online from a previous office visit. Selected standard shipping on a Thursday and had the contacts in my mailbox the following Saturday. Customer service was awesome and shipping was SUPER fast. Bard blew my expectations away.
Bought 2 pair of glasses and was told I had 1 year insurance Incase anything happened to them. 4 months later the glasses were damaged they didnt honor the insurance but offered a discount. I said ok order then they said theyd call when order came in 2 months later no glasses were ordered. So I paid for glasses was told 2 weeks that was 3 weeks ago and no call. I will never use this Bard optical again. The staff is very rude and condescending they act like they are doing you a favor well I can get glasses anywhere and will from now on
I will never return to this location ever.....i made an appointment for 340pm to still b sitting inside at 448 pm and still havent seen the doctor....what is the point in scheduling an appt when they are gonna make you wait 2 hours b4 they do anything.....highly unprofessional
