We have used Two Men and a Truck for moving our furniture between locations now and we’re satisfied both times.They were careful with our furniture and the guys were so cautious. I had them moving my stuff to another property one block away. They sent me 3 guys and one of them was extremely slow. The other two guy told me that 3rd guy is incompetent and should not be here. Later when I talked with one of my friend and learned that he got the same thing, then I realized this was their strategy.At the end, the moving cost was more than double than their original estimate. This is the worst moving company I have ever used.Now I told all my friends not to use this company. If they do, they need ask this company to give a final price, not an estimate. Otherwise, theyll always give you a big price hike in the middle of their moving.

Joe, Tyrone, Brick, and Alex were fantastic. On time for both aspects of my move. All were very pleasant. All took the greatest of care in protecting our furniture and boxed items. This company has perfected the process of moving. My first contact was with Katie, who scheduled a video tour of my apartment in order to create an estimate. When the movers arrived from a city one hour away, John made note of each item and gave it a sticker for assurance that everything removed from my apartment was unloaded at the new location. Dravin and Nick worked quickly and steadily to dismantle my futon frame and dining room table, shrink-wrap all the furniture for protection, and take furniture and boxes down a couple flights of stairs to their truck. After the 2.5 hour drive to my new address, the team swiftly unloaded and carried/dollied bathroom, bedroom, and office furnishings to a second floor of the townhouse. On the main floor, they were willing to help position and reposition some of the furniture. This was a 12-hour day for them, as it included a 1.5 hour drive back to the company address. Notably, this team was also very courteous. It was the first time I was addressed as Maam and the only time I appreciated it. My only regret is that I did not say at the start, Feel free to use the bathroom. That would have avoided the team having to ask to use it. Given the friendly customer service and professional handling, I was surprised to find the cost quite reasonable. What is the price of physical labor? All three of the movers, along with my first contact, deserve a promotion and raise. Thank you, John, Katie, Dravin, and Nick (in alpha order).

Dan and Dillion was right on time, very courteous and did the work efficiently. Dillion engineered the move perfectly and I am happy with the way the guys handled the stuff. But the truck was a rental, not a Two Men and a Truck and it broke down. They have to wait almost an hour until it gets fixed which mess up their schedule and mine. When I mention this to the follow up call, I was told I was not charged. Everyones schedule matters! Regardless, I will hire Dan and Dillion again.

They were on time, worked quickly (some companies dont b/c youre paying by the hour), they were professional, helpful and just all around nice humans. I called the company a few times and spoke to a representative about getting help disposing of old furniture. At first I kept getting transferred to lines that would ring and not get picked up. Awesome experience! I have had professional movers several times over the years but Two Men and a Truck FAR exceeds anything!! Alex and Navon and their helper were so incredibly helpful and personable from start to finish. Holly, at the office was so good at giving an estimate on the time it would take to do the move, it was downright eerie! 👍 Our move was small by most standards (only an apartment sized move) but their shrink wrapping of every inch of every piece of furniture and several other items, was a sight to behold! Incredible speed and NOTHING was scratched or damaged! 2.5 hours from arrival to completion of setting up the new apartment was dizzying to watch. The men worked well together as a team, and NO wasted time of any kind! All I can say is WOW and THANK YOU!! Terrific in every way!

We hired Two Men and a Truck to move our late mothers furniture from her home to 4 different locations. They were over the top with everything....They were punctual, polite, showed care for the items moved and their aim was to please. All this for a great price too! I would certainly use them again.

Had a great move with four men and two trucks right before Christmas. The guys were respectful, courteous and hard working. They got our house done two hours faster than the estimate. Couldn’t be more pleased.

They smashed my piano repeatedly into a cement step and I was screaming at them to stop. They broke the piano leg and hid it from us by keeping it completely covered until they walked out the door. Smashed the walls with furniture and told us they filed a claim and someone would be out to repair the damages. No call, no claim, no surprise. They treat your stuff badly when making the delivery. Fragile expensive items treated like thrift store junk. Beware!!!! I have photos of some of the damage they caused and left us to clean up their mess of repairing a once beautiful piano, walls and highee value items. Just dont use them .

After a few weeks of phone tag and no real help I went with Two Men and a Truck out of Bloomington. They helped within the first call.

I was hesitant to hire movers, especially after the online quote. However, I called the office and they were super helpful and helped me understand the process. Due to budget constraints we hired them for a specified amount of time and were disappointed we didnt make more room in the budget for more time. The team who showed up were extremely friendly and professional. They took care of our items and worked like a well-oiled machine. I hope to never move again, but if we do, were hiring 2 Men for the entire move. We were extremely pleased!

The staff was all very friendly and informative. They wrapped all of the furniture very intricately and nothing was damaged during the move. I would definitely use them again if I ever had to move again.

Used them last month. Guys did a fair job and were courteous. Reason for giving 1 star is that there were damages of multiple lamps, kids battery operated car and bed, and that is where the culture of company became evident. In the end staff was tired and left many things clearly marked at wrong places and patio furniture on the drive way. They refused to acknowledge any damage, didn’t tell about most of the damages probably out of fear that it will come out from their pocket. When contacted their office, I was told to share pictures, which I immediately did. They responded by saying that they will compensate and then just disappeared. The emails got unanswered and when I called them today, the lady who received the call said she was currently out of office and won’t be able to help and added that the lady who was suppose to respond to my emails is also very busy these days and then transferred me to an extension which was also unavailable. So there you have it. Customer Service at its best.*** Updated 7/30.After contacting corporate office, I was contacted by local staff and they resolved all my issues. Charles (Local GM) went out of his way to get my sons car repaired.

I am still waiting for a call back a week and a half later. I called once and left a voicemail. Called back a second time spoke to a really nice lady who said they would call me back. No call back.Update: Received a call today and received my quote. She apologized multiple times. Tana once again was very nice and friendly. I shared I would change my review after we use the service. I also would like to say that when I spoke to Tana the 1st time I was informed that someone else would be calling me back because they dealt with long distance. So the lack of call back was not Tanas fault yet she called back to apologize and to correct the situation. Tana has excellent customer service.New update: I had schedule a move. A week before the move chose to cancel. 2 months later I am still waiting on my refund.

My experience with Two Men and a Truck was outstanding from beginning to end. When I first contacted them, I wasnt sure exactly when I was going to move, but the person taking my call was patient with me, took my basic information and reassured me that I could call back when I was closer to an actual moving date. Then I called back to book my actual moving date, and they actually STILL had all my basic information! The person I spoke with confirmed everthing that I told the first person, and patiently worked through updating it with me. He gave me a final quote & booked my date. Two Men and a Truck was EVEN patient with me & accomodating when I had to push back my final booking 3 weeks! When my moving day finally arrived, my moving team was on time and explained every step of the process to me. The moving team worked quickly & efficiently! My initial quote was for 7 hours of work, but my moving team finished in just over 3 hours & cut the cost of my initial quote by over half! I cant recommend Two Men and a Truck enough for an effortless move!

Id like to start by saying the movers did an excellent job and were hard workers. The biggest issue we had is I got a call from the movers while at our closing and they said the estimate wasnt correct and it would be double the cost/time etc. During stressful times you dont need that call. I called the office and the woman in the office was friendly and listened to my rant. I never heard from Michael who did the estimate. It is an over the phone estimate which isnt anyway accurate. He never asked about boxes only furniture. So I assumed as I had used them in the past that they had estimated the box number. When the movers showed up obviously the house was full of 80+ boxes plus the furniture. So the one thing I learned was get an in home estimate. The movers ended up working really hard and made it work. Only ended up being $250 over the estimate rather than $1K over. It caused everyone stress that didnt need to be. And I never got a call back from Michael who took the estimate.

Had my moving done on Jan 30th 2020. Booked the movers 10 days ahead over the phone call with Katie. I provided my estimates and she gave me the rough amount and for the safe side she reserved me for 4hrs. On the day of moving, 2 movers came and on time and since I was moving from one building to another, they did not waste time and they were quick and did all the work in 1 hour. Very nice movers, punctual and they knew what and how to do. Since it was snowing a night before and I was concerned if my mattresses are going to be dirty and I asked them to user the mattress cover but they had strap and ensured that mattresses and box springs wouldnt touch the ground and they wont be dirty. Very happy with the service.

The office team and moving team from Two Men and a Truck were fantastic. Amy, Tanya helped us in the time prior to the move, setting up the date and purchasing moving supplies. Brick assisted us with providing an estimate for the move. On moving day, we were so impressed with Alex, Aaron, and Ben. They were polite, efficient, and worked diligently without a break. In fact, our cost came in less than the estimate because they were able to finish in less time.I also spoke with Charlie, the local manager, a few times during the process and he was very friendly and helpful.We would highly recommend this company and their local Peoria team.

The men are hard working and try their best to get the items to your final destination with great care. Anyone knows there are always risks involved when moving large, heavy furniture, personally speaking. Not everything arrived completely damage free, however, they came back and made it right with excellent repairs. I am very happy for the job they did, I would recommend them, as I already have.

We used Two men and a Truck and had Izzy and Q who were fantastic. I highly recommend using them. They came right in and wrapped everything and then loaded and unloaded everything quickly. Well worth the price and not having to find friends to help you move.

Very excellent job done. I was moving by medical office to a nearby location to partner with other doctors there and we moved charts with their racks as well as heavy exam tables and they did a great job in just a few hours. They had a great leader Aaron who organized his team well and everything was moved in good order to the new location with no problems. No dings or damage to all transported items or either facility. I did a second move of more exam tables Sono machines lab equipment computers sterilizer heavy file cabinets business records and old charts as well. This stuff was moved to a storage building I recently constructed. This bigger move needed 2 trucks and 5 guys. We requested Aaron again and he organized both crews and even the fragile delicate Sono machines as well as everything else arrived in good shape with no damage to equipment or my office or the new building. The guys worked well and it was great to get Aaron again. He is a good leader, a hard worker and a good careful driver. He honored every request we had about our cargo and was very friendly courteous and easy to work it I am 66 and this I the best moving crew and company I have ever seen or worked with. They know their stuff and prepped things with wraps and blanket like coverings. Excellent service and results. 10 stars out of 5 from me. I would use them again and have already told a lot of people about them. They know their stuff

I used Two men and a Truck to move in December 2019, they damaged walls, ceiling, and flooring. 8+ months later still waiting for them to fix and or pay for damages they caused. They keep saying they will get back to me. Not happy! Wouldnt recommend

I hired Two Men and a Truck for a move in June 2018. To start off, the movers did not bring the right tools needed to disassemble my bed. I was ok with that (I dont expect them to have EVERY tool possible), and I had the wrench that was needed. They mentioned that they had already packed and loaded the box which had the wrench. Since it was a local move, they said they would unload everything else at the destination, then bring the wrench back to disassemble the bed and move it separately. I didnt ask about the extra time taken myself, but THEY mentioned that if I sent an email, they would knock some time off of the final bill. Apart from this, they shattered an expensive vase during the move and I filed a damage report for this based on their recommendation.I have sent multiple emails about both these issues (extra time due to moving the bed separately, and the broken vase) - NO RESPONSE. Ive called them three times - every time they would say their manager would call me back - NO RESPONSE again. Im absolutely disgusted with the customer service provided at this location. If the move is smooth, youre lucky. If you face issues like I did, good luck getting them resolved! I would give zero stars if I could.

Damaged a piece of our furniture and never called back about replacement finally got a replacement for said furniture. While moving our stuff one of the movers dropped fragile boxes that were clearly marked fragile. A mover fell pulling fragile boxes into back of truck and just looked at me and laughed. Overall was satisfied just disappointed by the one guy.

Not enough guys initially, they called in extra help too late in the afternoon which caused a one day move to run over to two days, had several pieces of furniture scratched, one broken item that I am aware of, could have wrapped the lawn care tools much better to keep them together in a bundle vs them being loose, took care to not lose screws from furniture (much appreciated).
