We just had a pool safety cover installed and we couldnt be more pleased. The workman did an absolutely terrific job. They took great care to make sure that everything was done well and with accuracy. We also appreciated their willingness to answer any questions that we had. We had our Lazy- L pool liner replaced in the fall 2020 and the service and professionalism were the absolute BEST! The team that removed and installed our pool liner were very experienced - with a high quality work ethic!I would highly recommend this company - the quote was right on and they were on time, on schedule, polite and masters in their field.

Went today to spend $500 worth, spent half and just left. Due to long wait in sun, staff helped people behind the line your in. Rude counter guy very rude, not helpful hated us asking questions, clearly hates his job. Never again, went to Waterworld spend $300.00 very helpful. Stirling needs a a good staff manager.No excuses for it. Shame on them.

We have had pools for many years and this was our 2nd in-ground that we had built. Stirling Pools built us our dream pool on the lake and sold us a fabulous spa to soak in all year long. Bob was fabulous to work with, flexible and always had our best interest at heart. The store staff are always friendly and helpful. The crew that built our pool during the hottest July in history were absolutely outstanding. Long days of full, hot sun were really tough but never once did they complain. We now have our gorgeous pool that turned out even better than we had hoped for. We highly, highly recommend Stirling Pool & Spas. Tip for future pool owners- we went with 2 sets of walk in stairs in stead of one and a ladder-we are so happy with this decision.

Prices were extremely high, and so were the workers when they worked on my friends pool last summer. There concrete prices around the pool for stamped concrete were way to high, not impressed with the service. Did not get them to do anything but a pool. Will never get them again.

Busy place with everyone opening their pools. The staff are going out of their way to look after the customers during this pandemic.

We have been customers of Sterling Pools now for a number of years. We have always found the staff and service to be very good. HOWEVER, we have a leak somewhere in our pool and we have been waiting two years for this to be resolved. Last year we were told it would be dealt with, but it wasnt. This year we gave some leeway because of COVID. We have been living with a large white pipe running across our lawn to the pool now for far too long. It is unsightly, a trip hazard and a problem with the lawn mover. Despite phone calls to the head office we are no further ahead. I would rate the regular service 4-5 stars but with this a 0.

I have been dealing with Sterling Pools for a few years now. Its difficult these days to find companies that are incredibly knowledgable and have great customer service, but Sterling Pools does it well. Along side the storefront and customer service team, my experience with their construction crew has been exceptional. They are always working cleanly and efficiently. Hats off to everyone at Sterling!

We have used Sterling for approximately 5 years. We buy our chemicals from Sterling (in Cobourg) and they open and close our pool. They have never failed to meet our expectations.We had our pool installed by another pool company about 10 years ago. We had very few complaints re the installation of the pool, but the problems started soon afterward. Bringing in a water sample was always problematic because half the time they were unable to get a reading due to some technical reason that somehow was our fault. The most common being that our chlorine levels were too high (which they were not). Furthermore, I don’t think I ever walked out of the store without a trunk full of chemicals. This is in contrast to Sterling where the water samples are analyzed efficiently and quickly, and I often leave the store without handfuls of chemicals.My last purchase at the previous company was a $1,200 variable speed pump. When I asked for instructions on how to program and use the pump, there was no one (and I mean no one) who could do so. As a last resort, I went to the Sterling branch in Cobourg to ask for help and they took the time to provide instructions for a pump I had purchased elsewhere.If you want to find out how good Sterling is, I encourage you to shop at the other major area pool company first. Im quite confident that before long youll be taking your business to Sterling.Sterling has our has earned our pool business and we are happy to have found them.

Ive been a Sterling Pools customer for close to 20 years now and have nothing but good things to say about the great customer service and onsite service for both my pool and hot tub.I recently dealt with Kennedy on some issues I was having with my hot tub and she assessed the problem and recommended the necessary chemicals without trying to oversell. The tub was back to normal within a day!Thanks for the awesome help Kennedy!

Just moved to a house with a pool and hot tub, the staff were great to walk me through everything we needed to do as well as what NOT to do in order to keep both in good shape.

Cory and his staff are the best. BEST ADVICE a person can ask for. Personally the only place ya need for any water advice . Free water testing and all the chemicals needed to keep ya in the pool.

We love Sterling Pools!We have found the staff very helpful and knowledgeable both in the store and over the phone.We have had to replace several parts on our sand filter this season and they were able to walk us through the process as well as trouble shoot any complications.Today we had to replace our robotic pool cleaner and Kennedy was very helpful in showing us the various models and how they worked. Our last robotic pool cleaner had to be seviced several times and the only place that did repairs was in Toronto, so it is reassuring to know that Sterling Pools not only carry the parts for our new cleaner but do the repairs on site.Hopefully, we wont need this service but great to know it is available.Thanks again!

Terrible service. I would not recommend to anyone. They know nothing about customer service. When you call to discuss why they have not come for your service call, they basically tell you everyone is phoning to complain about the same thing. That is suppose to make me feel better?! That you have lots of people complaining about your service?! Wow. Next time I know better. Never again Sterling!

I am incredibly grateful for the service and knowlege of staff at the Peterborough location. I recently purchased a hot tub and have had about a million questions over the course of the past few months. I am quite impressed by the patience and support Ive continued to recieve from the various staff members whom I have spoken to both in person and over the phone. They have bent over backwards to ensure my hot tub experience is enjoyable. I recommend Sterling Pools to everyone and anyone looking for such services!

We were looking to put in an above ground pool this year, thought these guys had a pretty good rating so thats were we went. When we got to the store and told an employee what we were interested in he tossed us a book said here are the pools and here are the prices pick what you want and walked away. Then when we asked if they did installation we were told no they didnt bother with that anymore that we should buy a case of beer and have some friends over and do it ourselves.So as you have probably guess, they did not get our business!

We had them come and close our pool last fall(2018). The first time here they couldnt find the pool cover and I had told the counter staff where it was. The info didnt print on their work order. They came back and put it on. Then a week or so later the pool cover was coming off so I had to call them again. They returned and put it back on. Then a week or so ago I called them and the pool cover had now come off and all the debris from fall and winter had now gone in our pool. They came and took a look but things were still a bit frozen and they didnt want to rip up the liner. I went in the shop today to get them to come back now cause the ice is gone and they want to charge me a fee of $300.00. Over the years we have purchased all our supplies from them and they were always very helpful. I am very disappointed today.

Great price and selection. My wife and I purchased an above ground pool in the spring from Sterling Pools. Since the time we placed the pool order and every visit for water testing and asking questions the staff and service at both locations in Ptbo. have been top notch. I would not think of going elsewhere.

Best place for all of my pool and spa needs. They have everything at one location, and the staff is incredibly helpful. I visit them every week to get my chemicals and water tested.

Very helpful, open daily in the fall (youd be surprised thats a bonus, but its nice to know you can get what you need when you want to close your pool). Prices are on par, and the staff takes the time to educate as well as help out.

Shoddy pool replacement, no attention to detail. Workers left garbage and parts thrown in yard. Wont return calls to come and finish their work. After speaking with other sterling customers,come to find out theyve received the same lack of service. Would not use again and would not recommend.

Worst customer service possibleThey opened my pool in early April and found a leak, came back and tested and plugged two jets saying this was the problemI paid The $300 opening fee and the $300 leak detection fee immediatelyThe pool was still leaking badlyI called asking them to come out again as the job was not finishedI called two more times in May and got “no idea when we can get out there”I called again in June with the same responseI have yet to Get a Call from this company and it is July 3Stay away from this company at all costs
