This is one of my favorite stores.they have a lil bit of everything.

Very good place to shop with good prices. Aisles always blocked with merchandise.

Well stocked but it took way too long for the cashier to open up a second register and with the line getting longer and longer customers were lined up down a narrow aisle which doesnt lend itself well to social distancing.

This store is clean, well organized and the staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a store closer to me, but Ill drive the extra couple of miles to this store. It is so, so much better.

Ive been to a lot of dollar stores, but I do have to say that Ashley, here at the Cortland Road Dollar general is absolutely fantastic! Her wonderful personality brightens of the entire place and she gets along with everyone.

I recd a happy birthday money card for dollar general and the most CHEERFUL staff dropped what they were doing to show me where certain items were bcuz I wasnt accustomed to their store. I will return to that store again.

I always give dollar general 5 stars! This one is never crowded when I go.

I was in there for only about (10) minutes but I must say even though they were busy, the cashiers were very professional and business-like. The only reason I didnt give them a (5) star rating is that I feel the lighting was too dim. The brighter a store, the cleaner it looks.

Have Prince George store closer...but go to South Crater location due to friendliness snd cleanliness! PROBLEM IS NUMEROUS TIMES DURING EVERY WEEK whoever that is working evening to close...IS CLOSING THE STORE 20 TO 25 MINUTES EARLY...SUPPOSED TO CLOSE AT 9PM...NOT 8:35PM...happens every week! Not so convenient when this continues to happen!!!!!!! Happening consistently for months! No posts or notifications on door as to why closed early! Manager must resolve!!

Best Dollar general Ive been to better sales than colonial heights, Petersburg,and Hopewell.i love my local Dollar general.employees so nice and friendly makes for an amazing experience every time.

Ran in to get a few things because my daughter is sick.. Pepto thats what we need!! Also we grabbed some boss ginger alas 2/2.50.

Store way too closed in. Stuffy tight not good for people trying to (social distance) shop look find purchase items while juggling keeping distance from the next person. Crabs in s basket talk about multitasking.

I come here often and usually get pretty good deals. The staff is friendly. I had to rate it down because I went through the trouble of downloading Dollar General coupons only for their machine to be down. It was their computers error because the cashier could see that we had downloaded the correct coupons but there was no discount given.

Dollar General is Dollar General, but this DG the cashiers are nice and they are not always stocking like some of the other Dollar Generals.

I think I went to for Dollar General is trying to find hand sanitizer Lysol. Everyone seems to be out but overall the customer service is very friendly.

So far no bad service. The cashiers are actually decent and are pretty quick with checking people out even if the line is long.

They need to bring in better generic sodas in the store the kind they are selling now is nasty tried the root beer couldnt get past the first sip. They also have a very low selection of non generics anyways.

The store is a disaster. Years ago I was a manager or a dollar general and I can tell you this store has one sorry excuse of a manager. The aisles are full of merchandise and boxes, the shelves have stuff just thrown on them, no organization at all. Every single staff member I have encountered there were rude and slow. They have zero regard to the customer.
