Our mechanic for over 20 years went out of business so we were anxious to find a good honest mechanic with fair prices. Luckily after consulting with friends I was referred to Pburg auto repair. And so happy I was. They are so professional the work was excellent at a fair price. We will make this shop our new family mechanic and plan on being a loyal customer for the next 20 years. Linda in the office is a doll and Manuel the owner is super professional. Couldn’t be more satisfied. Luv the 2 year warranty on parts and labor.

Fast and very friendly

Had an alignment done I was taking care of right away. Jeremy was very knowledgeable on tire ware etc. Also had questions on another vehicle I have and he had no problem discussing it and giving me advice.

I cant speak more highly of this place. My car broke down by the side of the road halfway through a seven hour drive. After getting it towed, the Pburg team diagnosed the issue and arranged for it to be towed to a dealership for warranty-covered service - all free of charge. They also set me up with a rental so that I was back on the road in under an hour. The Pburg folks are compassionate and professional, and they made a stressful situation infinitely better. I had to have my car towed in as it wouldn’t start. Before having it towed in, I called the shop and spoke with Miguel. I told him i had a bad MAF and it could be the issue. Miguel was very professional and informed me that there could be other reasons as well. I told him i was having it towed in and he said he’d take a look at it and let me know what’s going on. He made me feel very comfortable and confident that my car would be in good hands. Miguel saw my entire experience through and i am very much satisfied. Not only did he fix my issue and got my car running again, he also notified me of other important repairs needed. Not to mention, i have a baby and i had no other way to get to the shop to pick up my car so Miguel personally delivered my car to my home. This made my life so much easier as both baby and i were sick.I really appreciate Miguel and the staff over at PBurg auto and i would highly recommend them for your repairs. Very busy place always a good sign.In addition to the alignment I was concerned about a noise, Miguel the owner took the time to show me the sway bar needed to be replaced. JAN 2020: This a modern shop of 2020, I never felt misinformed nor overquoted with the price. First off I never got a chance to meet anyone but they provide services no matter what your availability. I dropped my car over night and was greeted with text message updates, estimates and pictures of everything they were doing. Also Kathy in the office helped answer all my questions and more she is awesome. Would definitely go back had my control arms, rear brakes and a tune up completed great job and awesome 2 yr 24000 mile warranty.August 2020: I had to get extensive work on my car from when Pburg told me from my visit in January. Absolutely fitting Linda/Jeremy are an excellent team to help me through the extensive process that I needed. They are always welcoming and ensured me that they would do there absolute best for me, even through the unknowns. I can honestly say I found my shop for all my repairs because they are so awesome from the diagnosis, quote and customer service. They are beyond 5 stars and I recommend them to anyone best shop I have ever been to.

I recently took my van to P’burg Auto Repair to have my rear brakes, disc rotor, brake fluid flush, tie rod, and four wheel alignment done. I always go to P’burg Auto Repair because the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. They do great work and they keep you informed through the whole process. I would highly recommend P’burg Auto Repair to all my friends and family.

I have not had a problem with them trying to sell parts I dont need. They have always checked my trucks and told me what they can do and suggest. A lot of the time they tell me much better news than I anticipated. Best hourly rate I have found for labor also. No complaints here!

After the small issue with communication was resolved the experience was quite a bit more pleasant. They where able to handle the warranty company with for me and with just a little out of pocket to me. The work done is some of the best in phillipsburg as far as shops goes. The ower/ head mechanic even took the time to let my know about some of the smaller issues with the vehicle. The receptionist is a nice younger lady that is still very Intelligent and knowledgeable. The overall experience with this shop was very pleasant and helpful. I would strongly recommend this shop as for your vehicle issue.

I cannot say enough good things about PBurg Auto Repair. I just got my brakes and rotors done and they work perfectly and were so reasonably priced. But the kicker is tonight, my husband noticed one of my tires was showing the thread and needed to be replaced quickly. Its a Sunday night, so I emailed them to get a price, thinking of course I would get a response on Monday. Nope, Miguel emailed me back quickly, and got me a quote tonight, which was amazing. I am bringing my car in tomorrow to be serviced. The professionalism, and commitment to customer service is the best I have been privy to in quite a long while. We will continue to come back to PBurg Auto Repair for our auto needs. I more than highly recommend them to everyone. I have been using Pburg Auto for the past 4 years and they have been great. They are always honest and as a woman, I never feel uncomfortable going in because they take the time to explain the issues and will tell me honestly if I really need to fix something or hold off for awhile. I have 2006 Honda Pilot with over 200,000 miles on it and it runs like its brand new since going to them. I highly recommend them. Sorry if some people had a bad experience with them but it is a business and they are human so never in life is everything perfect.

Just wanted to take a moment to thank you for your accommodating me when I needed work done on my breaks. Work was done quickly and at a more resonable price then most places. Thank you for looking out for me and helping me out in a jam!

Went in for an alignment. The staff was friendly and the shop seemed well organized and clean. When the alignment was done I was told that I was good to go and handed the bill to pay. I paid and then asked for the printout of the before and after specs from the alignment. This was printed for me and when I looked the alignment was out of spec before and after. I questioned this and was told that my upper control arm was bad so they could not adjust the alignment. They quoted me a price to fix and when I asked about fixing it myself and having the alignment covered under warranty I was told probably not unless they do the work themselves (and up sell the part). Only then would they do the alignment for free under warranty. I will not use this shop again. If I had not asked about the specs I would have never known they could not adjust the alignment properly. In addition to that, why did they not tell me about this during the alignment when it was found and offer a solution then? Too many red flags here, my advice is to stay away.Also an update. Took my truck to a trusted shop and found the upper control arms on both sides to be fine. Would have replaced it for no reason at all if I would have listened to pburg auto. Stay away!

Got the diag wrong. Told me my front end was fine. Steering was so loose. I took it to another shop and had to do an alignment again along with their being $3500 in front end issues. The same issues this shop said was ok.

They are rip off liars like your typical mechanic. Took my truck there for a radiator leak, walked in, told the lady about it, right away she insists Do you need a new radiator? I said no. They guy in the garage only had it in there for like a minute or two came back and of course wanted me to purchase a new radiator, and gave me a ridiculously high estimate for a supposed new (yeah right) radiator. Ended up the hole was ON TOP of the radiator by the CAP. My uncle who is a mechanic said the entire radiator did not need to be replaced with a tiny hole on top of it by the cap. We also discovered a loose hose on the passenger side that the mechanic, evidently, didnt notice which was causing another small leak. In summary, they are rip off liars, thieves, and vandalizers. They only want you to purchase new parts when you dont need it, because they want the business & money. Dont trust their advice.Update: Brought my car here recently for an oil change. They did not change the oil, fake oil changes. Oil was still dirty. Miguel ransacked my Moms car.

They do good work here. And to the girl with the radiator leak putting sealent in it is like putting chewed gum on a bottle of water with a hole in it. It just prolongs the problem best thing to do for that is get a new one
