Great store in the neighborhood and Excellent staff members

Dollar general is phenomenal when i comes to utilizing their coupons especially on Saturdays $5 when you spend $25 or more. The staff are always kind and courteous. If theres something you cant find or if theres a product out of stock, theyll take the initiative to check their back inventory. Overall, this a great store to shop for all of your daily necessities at an affordable price.

Sometimes there are good deals here

The day I was there they were restocking boxes everywhere couldnt get through the aisles. And if they were working where were the items not on shelves still boxed up and it was between 11-12 oclock. It was very hazardous in that store. An accident waiting to happen. One more thing my husband uses a scooter so needless to say he couldnt go in and shop. Hey here is an idea stock after store is close at night may be. At lease it is cooler than and you guys dont have to worry about it being too hot. Especially since you closed at 2:00 anyway.

I go for cleaning supplies and little odds and ends. Never well stocked for most things

A-hole cashier charged me $10.35 for gum.Watch your money there.Edit:That blue haired cashier cant do math, or dont want to. Came to ask her about her drawer being over, and she tells me that it was $50-something Over.

This Dollar General is so dirty, located on Penn Avenue, it needs to be closed

Great staff and the store is kept neat. In the summer you cant stay in there long. This is the 3rd spring in a row it has been hot in this store. The staff tell me every year that it will be fixed. They are stuck in that hot store all day with box fans. This is terrible and goes to show that urban neighborhoods arent taken care of. If it wasnt for the cool staff and manager I wont be back.

The manager on Centre Ave is very nice. Keep them all like him. Makes you feel like they want your business. The store in E. Lib. AWFUL!!!! Thumbs down for E.Liberty😠!

I love the workers here. They are pleasant and very funny.

When their shelves are fully stocked, its a decent place to shop for simple household and hygienic items. However, I give them only 3 stars for a consistent lack of supplies.

They are so ghetto

They have plenty of disposable baking trays....for my cooking escapades...lol.

Place has made great strides and improvements. But its small and cramped. Due to size they arent able to carry the full complement off products that most Dollar Generals carry either. Theres only in-street parking.
