I called Collin Air yesterday to inspect my AC that stopped working. Jimmy came in today early morning and quickly diagnosed the root cause to be a failing motor, unlike another vendor who falsely claimed the whole system needs to be replaced. My experience with this company was excellent. They were on time, courteous and knowledgeable. They went straight to the point and fix my two units quickly and efficiently. Their prices are reasonable which is a plus. Should we need help with our heaters or AC will call them again for sure.

I was a little shocked by the price of adding refrigerant but I talked to them about it and they explained about the price of refrigerant going up because I guess mine is being phased out. Not real happy about the price but everything else was great.

The technicians arrived on time, were friendly and professional. They listened to my problem and thoroughly inspected the unit. They diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Once you tell them you have another company coming in to work on your ac unit after Collinair comes and cleans your air ducts, all of a sudden their air duct machine is broken for 90 days now. Called back today to check and apparently they had an opening tmrw. When I asked if they got their machine fixed Bryan said oh I’m not sure let me check.. comes back yeah it’s still broken. Buyers beware

This is the second time I’ve used this service. The first time I was referred to you from a friend and my unit was fixed very fast and professional that was a few years ago. I saw a leak from my pipes yesterday and called Collin as I still had them in my phone the young man is so nice and professional He made an appointment for me very fast. They actually called today and came earlier than expected so that was great that they call me when they have an earlier opening. As mentioned by others, Collins team goes above and beyond to provide excellent service. They have been servicing our unit for years and its great to see they know you by name when you call again. Service is very quick and very professional. Followed up few days later (due to weather) to come by and check rest of the system and to clean the compressor. Value for product and service is fantastic, and they are VERY good at making strategic recommendation (whats needed now and what is recommended in the future). Its obvious, customer retention is a high priority with these guys and they certainly got a long term customer here.

Collin Air always manages to impress me more and more with each visit! One of my A/C units had an stopped cooling and after running some diagnostics they found it was a built in protection triggering the A/C to stop. They instructed me on how to clear this issue in case it pops up in the future.

I called on Saturday as my unit was not working. Colin came out and checked it that day. He thoroughly explained everything to me. They returned first thing Monday morning and got my house cool again. They are very knowledgeable and explain thoroughly.

So far, they have sent out the same repair technician as the lead on every call we have made. So he knows our 2 systems well. 2 polite, cleanly uniformed men - Colin and Alex, arrived promptly (at the beginning of the two hour window the office contact gave me) and went right to the air conditioner unit upstairs where they immediately diagnosed the problem. Condensation line was plugged, this was cleaned, as well as several maintenance points. Super Happy w/the Honest Service, and Professional repair. I will definitely call them Anytime we have an AC issue. Also, we had them 2 years ago for a different unit & we were Very Happy with that repair as well.

I have Collin Air as my A/C & Heating Company for several years. Maintain and clean seasonally. Things work as they are supposed to. Then a very serious problem occurred that you never want.Around noon it began to feel cooler in the house. Cold air was blowing unheated and system set for heating. I went to thermostat to look at setting and to furnace. I opened door....and gas smell permeated!I immediately shut system and followed gas company directions. I called Collin Air, explained situation. They would have Tech to my home between 1pm-2pm. They arrived by 1:30 and had me relax...at 77, I was a bit more than nervous. Jimmy, who had been here before, took care of everything. Very detailed taking things apart, checking to find gas leaks and making repairs. All while explaining situation clearly.It is so reassuring and calming to have a professional and trustworthy company take care of something so serious.. safely, promptly and competently! They are and have always been open, explanatory, very fair and honest. Things are done corrrectly, rechecked and completed right the first time. I called and spoke to one of the owners, who is also a Master Tech. Told me to Keep system off, there is no gas odor, and appt set early Monday.Verified appt by text.Called to let me know Tech was 15 minutes out.He arrive on time and with ID, uniform and wearing mask at all time.This company is truly service and professionally oriented.He checked and tested and traced to a faulty capacitor.Replaced..after measurements of new capacitor get correct tolerances. Actually tested the new part Before installation. Did thorough system check, replaced filter and started unit.I have and continue to use Collin Air! Clear and detailed explanations, very reasonable charges.Was told system running very smooth and quiet. I said...you take good care of it. Installed in 2002… and first actual repair.Collin Air is family owned and operated. Been in business for about 40 years. Outstanding company.I continue to fully recommend them!

Collin Air has great customer service! Our AC went out in the middle of the recent summer heat wave and they answered every question, serviced our units within hours of our call and had us back up and running. Thank you!

Collin Air came out to provide a quote on a new unit, after being told by another company that mine would need to be replaced, and also had a leak. They quickly determined the source of the leak and fixed it, then performed a full tune-up on the unit, indicating the 11 year old system was still in good condition, and probably had another 5 years left. After blowing out the drains, cleaning the condenser, and checking the levels, we were back to having a cool house, and saved thousands if Id taken the recommendation to buy a new unit as suggested by the other company. All of this was performed under their standard tune-up fee. The other company charged a fee just for showing up, and any further work (cleaning the drains, etc.) would have been an additional charge.

Collin Air replaced our 20 year old heating and air conditioning system. From the time they talked to us about what we needed until the system was installed they were very professional. All our questions were answered promptly. The installers were at the house when they said they would be and worked diligently with only time off for lunch. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that is in need of a system upgrade or any repair work that might be needed.
