Did the job right the first time. very pleased
Initially Chris was the person I encountered about repairing my truck. He was rude and contentious, almost hostile, and definitely abrasively sarcastic. Asked for another attendant and got Larry. He has been courteous and considerate. A pleasant experience with Megan at the front desk also. Still waiting for my truck and hope the price will be pleasant also.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this Crest Body shop location off of Lexington in Plano, TX.From calling in to schedule, Alex was unbelievably helpful and had our car towed in that afternoon. Chris, our service advisor, was amazing!! He called and text every step of the way. He was beyond helpful during our journey of having a total loss. We had never experienced this and they made the process so easy. I highly, highly recommend them! I will never use another body shop! Thank so much for all your help!
Great service.
The service I received was spectacular. Everyone at Crest North was very considerate and helpful. Larry especially, he was responsible for my car. Larry truly is a customer-focused employee, one of the best Ive seen. He made me feel like family, and I knew I could trust him to not only do the job quick, but do it right. The automated emails werent correct, but Larry emailed me every step of the way with detailed information. It took the exact time he said it would, and I was able to make smooth plans as the insurance didnt cover a rental car. I will always come to Crest North.
I was very pleased with my experience here. They made my entire car look like new and even buffed up my wheels. I had a huge smile on my face when I left my car looked beautiful, like new! I was kept up to date on the status and they got my car back sooner than they originally estimated. Larry is great as well as entire office staff. Would definitely recommend.
I can’t say enough great things about this place! Larry and the entire staff took great care of my car and received almost daily updates about my vehicle and when it would be done. I arrived to pick it up and to my surprise they even washed my car, I will definitely be back!
Chris Landry is the go to guy. He was honest and upfront with details of the process to fix my car. He drove me to Enterprise to pick up my rental. His updates via text were super. Great Feature by Crest Collision. My car repair is fantastic, I will recommend this location. Thanks everyone!
Larry took great care of me after my car accident. My vehicle was totalled, so I cant speak to the work, but he kept me informed during the process.
I had to have body work done and brought it to Crest Collision and had such a great experience there. I worked with Alex at the front desk and Chris Landry for my service and both were exceptional. I’ve had body work done in other shops and have been frustrated at the timeline for service, communication and the feeling that I was put on the back burner. Not here! I was receiving text messages every few days from Chris beyond the promised “you’ll hear from me everybody Tuesday & Thursday regarding what stage we’re in” and that impressed me from the beginning. I will say, I didn’t believe him. I had been told that before at other places and then I would have to reach out to THEM 10 days in to see if my vehicle had even been started on. Chris was always on top of the progress and anything that was happening with my vehicle. I also had to have an oil change done while it was in the shop so he worked with the service department and Jordan Farmer next door and they both made it super convenient for me to get it all taken care of all at once. The repair was quick and my car looks brand new. I just have nothing poor to say about this body shop and the people I worked with and I won’t hesitate to come back if I need more work done in the future!
Chris Landry and the front office administration were great. They kept me updated on my repair. If i get hit again I will definitely be coming back.
I can say wholeheartedly that this is the worst service center possible. I had an accident to my passenger side door, the service center being called crest Volvo collision center I was delusional that it would be at Volvo standards. It was all good when I left the car and they calling me back after fixing it, but I had to take the car back 7-8 times (I lost count) to get my door handle fixed. It would get stuck after 5-6 times of opening the door and the it wouldn’t open after that. Curtis the manager when I called to take the car in the third time yelled at me saying he is a consumer too and I have no right to be mad. After the 5th time I took the car in to fix the handle, he stated being nice to me and apologizing. Even today the handle is stuck, I had just given up and got it fixed else where paying 40$.
Perfect experience. I took my car in for repair of a small scuff on the front bumper corner and to have paint chips repaired across the nose and lower air dam, which was additional but quoted at a very reasonable price. They were completely professional & courteous, they coordinated with my rental car agency for me, they kept me updated as to progress and they delivered my car back on schedule, cleaned inside and out, and with the same mileage as going in. Best of all, the repairs are perfect. The color and orange peel match exactly and there’s no trace that there was ever a problem. They even fixed (perfectly) a large gouge near my headlight that I wasn’t expecting to be included. Very impressed!
Great work and service. I felt with Larry and he kept me very informed the entire time my car was in the shop. It did take a little longer then I wanted it to, but I know they had their hands full and they still made me feel like I was a priority for them.
Took my car here after I rear ended a lady. Chris was very helpful and so was the lady at the front desk. I really appreciated the text messaging alerts and continually kept me up to date with the process of repairs. I really recommend them!My ONLY complaint is that the car had no coolant in there at all at pick up. I noticed it and immediately put coolant in myself. Probably just an honest mistake. The car was detailed before checking it out and I think the car is cleaner than it was when I bought it back in Feb. :)
We had a terrible experience getting our vehicle fixed here, and would not recommend this shop to anyone.Story: I got into an accident in my Mothers SUV when she was in town visiting me (out of state car). We took the car to Crest Collision based on proximity and insurance acknowledgement. Here are the highlights:- They took 6 weeks to fix the car, needing an extra week at the last minute (rough when youre trying to make travel plans to come back into town to pick up the car).- They were terrible about updating us on progress, we always had to call them. They also had misspelled my email (I never got any from them) and they never asked us about it until we were there to pick up the car.- When we picked up the car after 6 weeks, it was clear no one had test driven it or cleaned the car. Evidenced by having another persons car door interior in the back of our SUV when we picked it up?! (we thought it was ours at first, it wasnt and we had to return it to the shop)- We also had to immediately take the car back to the shop because the horn was going off randomly! They needed another day to fix that.- They doubled the insurance companys estimate of cost to repair (~$7K to ~$14K).Im not sure if its because the vehicle was out of state, but we sure felt like we were taken advantage of. AVOID THIS SHOP.
Fixed my vehicle promptly and to factory spec. What else could you ask for in a body shop...
This collision center operates independently from the Crest dealership, which is actually very evident once you walk in. Theres nothing classy nor cozy about the interior, but Larry was enough of both things to make the experience not 100% sh*tty. After a horrible hail storm in my neighborhood destroyed my back windshield and made unsightly dents all over my car, Larry walked me through the process of how my car would be fixed and assured me that this would be a simple process. I honestly have nothing bad to say about him at all.The collision center estimated that my car would take about a month to complete, so I didnt rearrange my vacation plans at all since the timing was going to be perfect. They ended up fixing the car 2 weeks early but I wasnt able to pick it up since I was out of town. Larry let me know that they could hold onto my car for a while, but probably not as long as I needed them to. What they failed to inform me of was that the collision centers responsibility for the vehicle ends the minute they finish repairing it.Between their completion on my car and the time I was out of town, my car got severely keyed. My car was parked in a normal parking lot next to other cars, so I cant understand is how it would have gotten such deep scratches on *both* sides unless someone intentionally dug into my car. They pulled up my car and were ready to hand it off to me with the cosmetic defects and offered no apology for what happened. They just kept saying it wasnt their responsibility anymore but that they could help me with 50% of the cost thereby charging me $500. What really blows my mind is that they were saying they couldnt control if someone decided to walk through the parking lot and key my car - truly superb security. No security cameras or physical deterrents to keep someone from literally walking up right next to a car and keying it from front of back ON BOTH SIDES?? If theyre so confident that they dont have people wandering their lots, then I would have to assume that one of their people messed with my car out of spite for leaving it on their lot for so long. The above it just the issues I had that were unrelated to the actual work they did on my car. I still had hail dents on the top near my sunroof, which would have been easily noticed had they just LOOKED. My steering wheel was greasy and left black marks on my hands. There were pieces of glass in my car that Im still finding every day...I trust Crest, but unfortunately blindly trusted the collision center as well since they shared the same name. Dont make the same mistake I did. If my review isnt enough to sway you, read the others.*Update: I took my car to an actual body shop and they told me that one of the really long scratches on the side of my car had been attempted to be covered up by clear paint. So my suspicions about the scratches being intentional were correct.
Went to get an estimate on a repair job for body work on a minor bumper repair. Was quoted a ridiculous price $1000 for work that was not needed. Was told by the man doing the estimate that they could fix car but they wanted to do unnecessary work not needed to charge me more. Anyways went to two other repair shops that told me they didnt need to do all the work Crest felt was needed and car was repaired exactly what I needed done by a reputable shop for $100. $900 less than the estimate I was quoted with Crest. Completely tried to rip me off
Best car service ever. The young girl at the front desk is kind and hospitable. Larry helped me to get my car repaired in no time at a really awesome price. Thanks Larry.
After three repair jobs over many years I trust their work. Hail damage, broken window and the last one front end damage around grill/hood were all fixed just fine. The first two involved my insurance company of which Crest Collision is one of their certified repair shops. Short wait time and they fixed the car. I think it best to do business with a collision repair shop recognized by your car insurance company. Just easier to deal with as both want to keep your business. The last repair was more significant and involved another insurance company. Fortunately the other drivers insurance company accepted responsibility for the accident and paid for all repairs and rental car while mine was in the shop. I did have to take my car to a different collision repair shop for an second estimate for the other insurance company. But Crest TOOK CHARGE of the entire matter including follow-up with the other drivers insurance company when they discovered more damage than the other repair shop had noted. (Hidden under the hood/grill). Only downside was the accident happened just after a major hailstorm in the area and I had to wait three months for an appointment. All repair shops had a significant backlog of work at the time. (I was lucky the car could be driven while we waited). Three weeks for repairs which included wait time for approval of additional repairs by the other insurance company. We got frequent updates as to progress of the work. I would do business with them again but hope not to any time soon.
My vehicle seems to be repaired with precision and back to factory. We own a 2018 GMC Terrain and got dinged on the door My rating is so low because the representative we worked with, Rich, made the most inappropriate comment. Racist may be an understatement. I confronted him directly, and he blamed his age. The first rep we had, Larry, was fantastic. Too bad they switched us out.
Unfortunate experience with the insurance company who held the claim on my vehicle, however, Demarcus made the experience at the body shop stress free. He was very informative, professional, and friendly through the whole process. While the insurance company made the experience very difficult, Demarcus made my family feel taken care of and was very helpful! And my car looks great 👍🏼
This place is horrible. Went through them because when I called stonebriar Chevrolet they said they use crest collision for service. My husbands 2018 Chevrolet truck was in a little accident so we thought taking it through crest collision would be a great decision. BOY WAS I WRONG. They had the truck for 3 weeks. 3 weeks for his little accident of hitting a parked car. Not once did they ever update me. I had to call over and over and they never returned my calls. GARYS customer service is horrible. He was not friendly and never kept us updated. They kept saying over and over they found more and more problems. DO NOT USE THEM. THEY ARE FRAUD.
Very friendly and helpful folks. The whole repair process went smooth and as promised.
Never use this place the service wasridiculous from the time I walked in it took one month for my bumper to come back the rental car wasnt ready when I turned my car in for repairs.the partswas used the bumper was a different color my lights wasnt working properly after the repairs was completed Chris talked about how bad was car was put together the service was a mess never use this place they are racist and give poor services..If I can give zero stars I will.
I should have looked at the reviews before I brought my vehicle here. I dont give reviews often but this is the worst experience I have ever had. I brought my SUV in to fix the bumper and it took close to a month to get it back to me and it wasnt even fixed correctly. Additionally, the other side of my bumper was scuffed and they didnt even tell me about it or fix it. I now have to bring my vehicle back to get it finished. They said it will take 1-2 hours but Im sure it will take a week or more to complete. Completely dissatisfied customer. After looking at the other reviews, this place should really be put out of business. I cant believe Crest wants to be associated with this disappointment. I would clean house and start over!!
Took my truck in for some hail damage and it did take about 3 weeks but they did a AWESOME job. The truck looks brand new and they were great to work with.
Crest Collision North has awesome customer service! Everyone was professional, knowledgeable, understanding and courteous. I want to especially thank, Chris, Alexis, JoJo and Jay. You all were great and the car looks excellent.
Terrible to work with. Sent back and forth between north and south shops for 3 days then when it’s settled they don’t accept cars on certain days which put the appointment out over a week. Bought from Crest and expected that same dedication to personal service. Unfortunately, that isn’t the case.
Very professional, did a great job fixing my car. Prompt and on time, easy to schedule.
Unfortunately, I had an extremely poor experience having my car repaired here. I dropped off my car and explicitly stated that the only items that needed to be replaced due to accident damage were a wheel flare and a reflector. However, the shop replaced my entire font bumper due to a small scratch without ever consulting me on this replacement. This led me to paying and additional $400 out of my pocket. I was never refunded for this replaced bumper that was not needed, and that was never discussed during my initial consultation. Very poor communication throughout the process.
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THE PLANO COLLISION CENTER! My car was towed in on May 20th. Never heard any update until after a/b 2 weeks & that was only because I called them. Afterwards was sent multiple update emails that my car would be ready on June 18th. When I called to confirm the morning of, was told it wouldnt be ready until June 20th. I was leaving for vacation on the 19th, so was told for my convenience, my car would be brought to the Frisco location for me to pick up when returning from out of town. When I showed up at the Frisco location on my two hour lunch break the day after returning from vacation, my car was NOT there. They called Plano & was told they would have to let me know something later that day. I refused to leave without a car. Thankfully I ended up speaking with someone who was helpful, & placed me in a rental which I demanded they provide & pay for. I was brought by one of their concierge to pick up my rental & dropped off at the wrong Enterprise location. Then had to wait to be picked up & taken to the correct location. By the time I made it back to work, I was 45 mins late! I will NEVER use this location for ANYTHING ever again & I highly suggest you not either!
Front desk women are friendly and caring, especially after my accident. Demarcus was VERY informative calling me with updates on my car. I would recommend Crest Collision North.
Worst customer service ever!!! My car was repaired 2 months ago and the repair was done with broken parts and I still have the same problem to this day.
Highly recommend Crest Collision. Ask for Curtis Kincaid, you will be glad that you did!
Following the recent hailstorms, Catastrophe Solutions International almost did all of the repair (all PDR) on my just-off-the-truck new vehicle, working under this repair shop. I was thrilled by the dent repair results. There were some other issues such as someone cleaned the car with something abrasive/dirty (Crest denies this), putting scratch marks in the new lights and roof rail finish. Also found a cut on the steering wheel and creases in the roof liner. The hood and hatch were not aligned correctly. I also found a screw down below on the left side of the driver seat that appeared to have come from the roof rails (some type of structural screw), leaving me to remove the liner and inspect their work to see where it came from. When I took my vehicle back to them, they agreed to schedule me in to complete repairs. This was over a month ago, and I have not received a call. Even if I had, I do not feel that I can trust them with my vehicle.Side note: I went to pick up the vehicle after repairs on a Saturday when they were supposed to be open. Turns out, the receptionist was running late (it happens), but the service rep that arrived at 8:10 flat out lied to my face and said they did not open until 9. I knew I was going to be sleazed on somehow from the first day when I stepped into the waiting room for appraisal. It is so hard to find people who do quality work these days.Update 9/1/16:Still no call back from this place regarding outstanding repair items. Since the PDR work was done, I have had a chance to pull a few panels. I found plastic mounting tab(s) missing from each one so far, so no telling what is left to be discovered.Jan 17th...guess they abandoned the idea of decent customer service.______________________________________________Put your money elsewhere; these folks dont deserve it.
Excellent service and helpful staff!!
Larry was the worst. I drove cross town 45 min and they did nothing! No estimate no appointment set. I was scheduled for an appointment. Then lied and said everyone is booked until Aug for repairs. Never called and followed up. I contacted my insurance and got scheduled with someone else and car being fixed all in 1 week! Just because someone looks young gives you no right to treat them like the are not a valued customer!
Very Meticulous.
Horrible experience. Guys take forever now having to replace something that they said was there but wasnt while in there care...have to take it to court. Very shady place and workers......just a warning before thinking about taking your vehicle there
Fantastic team!
Unfriendly staff and Service is not good
The people are very kind
