Yet another location to add to long list of Discount Tire locations that have provided excellent service. They were able to replace the bent rims and bad tires after my pothole incident on my work vehicle. My only recommendation is to add the persons name that is waiting on the ticket. I didnt realize they were calling my bosses name when it was my turn.

Superior customer service, came in during my lunch brake because I found a screw in my rear tire. I’ve been with discount for over 7 years now. And lately they have been going down the wrong road. I recently bought all 4 tires for my Chevy from discount. Got Only one screw into one of the tires(flat). I went to this exact location just to have them say we can’t repair it after an hour of waiting inside, waste my time. Went down the road to a different tire shop to have it repaired for free. Get better.

Friendly service from one of the desk personnel, Cody. I purchased rims & tires from another Discount Tire location and they didnt set my TPMS properly. The tires do not last longer than 10k miles or even a year.I understand that the tires are cheaper in price than competitors, but they are cheaper in quality as well.I have purchased tires twice from this location and I should’ve learned my lesson the first time.I paid about $120/ tire and after driving 10k miles there is absolutely no tread left! I went back to the location because I had a warranty of 40k miles per tire and explained that to the the rep, Kevin.He refused to replace the tire even though I had a warranty and told me something must be wrong with my car because it seems I have to get my tires replaced frequently!No it seems that you are selling me awful tires!Don’t waste your time here. Go somewhere that will actually guarantee a warranty and not blame the customer .

I was very disappointed in the timeliness of this location. I brought my car in for a rotation and was given an hour time estimate. I checked at an hour and they said 3 appointments had come in and it was going to be almost an hour longer. I was waiting outside. Could they not let me know that it was going to be twice as long? Communication is important!

Very professional and explains why road force balance is not ideal for correcting a high-speed vibration. Turns out the dealership I took my car to didnt balance my wheels correctly. Discount Tires fixed the issue and Im on my way.

This discount tire store is usually not as busy as others in plano. At least thats what it appears. These guys never stop working on cars. Just had another set of michelin tires put on a truck. Took them 30 min. Great place great people I will be back.

I came in thinking I needed a new tire or at best a tire patch. Turns out the rims I purchased from them a little under a year ago were faulty. They just replaced all rims for me with a new brand set. Very simple and easy! To say this act of service was a blessing would be an understatement. I couldn’t have afforded new rims in that moment. This company has always gone above and beyond for me as a customer and this is why I always come back to discount tire!!

I was in and out in 45 minutes to replace 2 tires. Ordered the tires online, which was a breeze. The staff was very friendly from when I first walked in to when I walked out. They even let me know my tire pressure light would go off in a few minutes-- which it did.They also noticed my spare was very low and filled it up for me. Top notch service!

This location does not have good customer service and they refused to air up a tire that was low. How do you send women back out onto the road with a flat tire and refuse to put the spare tire on? Thats okay, the Plano Tire and Battery a block away took care of us and they will have a repeat customer. I will definitely send people to Plano Tire before I ever refer them to this Discount Tire location! Customer service is what will keep repeat business, especially during rough times.

Make sure you purchase Tire Certificates here unless you want to drive your vehicle onto their lifting platforms yourself. Came in today to get tires today and they had me pull in my own vehicle onto and off their lifting platforms. My only assumption was because they were hard pressed on giving me a deal on certificates but I denied. Then it seemed that the service went downhill after that.2 stars for availability.

This place was fantastic. Total professionalism as well as friendly, competent and expedient. My tire lost all pressure on the way to help a friend in Plano and i limped to this store. Cody immediately took charge and i left the vehicle with them to get fixed. I got a call a half hour later for their game planned they absolutely killed it. I was going to buy tires in a month anyways from tire rack, now I will not only cancel that and go to discount tire but it will be that store specifically.Thanks for getting in me back on the road guys!!

Buyer definitely beware. Staff doesn’t pay attention and you pay for it. Asked for tires for my car, the kind that are recommended by manufacturer and match it. It has runflats yet they sell and install a regular tire. While it certainly rolls, I’ll be screwed if I get a flat and have to tow my car. Who does that? Now it wi cost me another $300. These guys need to be watched so you don’t get ripped off too.

Employees are friendly and theyre happy to fix simple issues for free but Im deducting stars because they really really dont know how to give you an accurate time estimate.Ive come here about 6 times, 5 out of those 6 times my car took upwards of double the time estimate they gave me, regardless of whether I made an appointment, waited at the location, or dropped it off.This Discount Tire should either improve the accuracy of their time estimates or not give one at all. Any reasonable person should recognize that if you give a time estimate of 45 to 60 minutes and my car is still sitting where it was parked almost 1.5 hours ago, then the time estimate was clearly wrong. If that happens most of the time, then you need to improve your estimates.

I was in a rental car, headed from Dallas to Houston when the tire pressure light came on in Plano. It was fortuitous that Google said Discount Tire was the closest shop! It was busy, so locals love them, and they have a courtesy air check lane to check tread and pressure and add air with no attempt to sell tires. There was a problem with one of my tires so they checked it out, pulled a nail and patched it (at no charge) to ensure safe travels. Highly recommend!

My TPMS warning came on four times within the last year for the same tire. Each time I took my car to the Park Place Dallas Benz dealership. Each time they told me nothing was wrong with the tire. On my third visit the service manager told me buying a new tire would fix the problem. Last Tuesday, they told me nothing would fix the problem, it’s the nature of run flat tires to lose air. In other words, drive within 50 miles of an air pump.The tire manufacturer recommended I get the tire checked out at Discount Tire. I went to Discount Tire today and within about 20 minutes my tire was fixed. Air was leaking from the tire because the washer that should have been installed with the TPMS monitoring sensor in the valve stem was missing.One trip, 20 minutes of my time and it cost me nothing. Needless to say where I’ll be purchasing my next set of tires.

They stayed open way past closing time to accommodate customers who were there before closing... on a Friday... for a free service (repairing a tire with a screw in it)!!! And they did it courteously and with a smile!

Theyre always so helpful. Its best to go in the morning but life doesnt always work the way you intend. They were packed but took my info, got what I needed and told me theyd text me back so I didnt have to wait. Sure enough, I got the text at the exact time they said! I walked in and got my new tire put on within minutes and was out the door. They saved me hours!

Arrived @ 12:30pm without an appointment with only 2 other customers waiting on their cars. Was told I would need to wait but was not told I had to wait over 2.5 hrs all while watching 10+ people come in and get their cars service. During my wait, I was never approached nor told how much longer I would need to wait. Overall, I was at Discount Tire for over 3 hrs to get 2 tires replaced. I will not be coming back to this location. Terrible communication and customer service

Discount Tire has implemented some outstanding policies to minimize potential exposure to COVID virus. Not only do they social distance but they wear masks, have distance markers inside on the floor, plexiglass around the counters, you get your own appointment time to minimize congestion and you drive your own car into and out of the bay.

I cannot begin to describe how happy I am with my discount tire interactions. Its busy sometimes especially in the evening but man they are amazing. Ive had two tires replaced for the cost of new tire insurance which has saved me $100s in new tire costs. Theyve never tried to rip me off, up sell me, or push something Ive said I dont want. Personally would not shop anywhere else for tires. The best products; pricing and service - bar none. The ability to schedule and appointment and D.T. commitment to honoring those appointments is superlative. And get the tire insurance - totally worth it and has saved me from unforeseen unnecessary expenses for either repair or replacement of tires. 👍

Will patch a tire for free if you are willing to wait 1-2 hours there with no adjacent businesses in walking distance & if the hole isnt exactly where they like them to be (directly on the bottom of tire) your S.O.L they wont patch it up at all, they say sorry its a liability issue. So then they proceed to try to sell you an 80 dollar tire. Awesome!

Most of my visits are to have the air checked in tires and they do a great job. Feel free to tip those guys two or three dollars for what they do. They deserve it!

A little bunny rabbit ran out in front of me a couple of nights ago. I screamed and slammed on my brakes but still hit the curb (really hard). Blew out both tires (Pirelli’s) on my passenger side. Very professional and courteous service! I have purchased tires at a different location of theirs and also had a great experience. This time it was a screw in my tire, which they removed and even did a rebalance, all at no cost. The wait was not too bad, since they have a comfortable lounge with WiFi and I had my laptop with me. I had damage to my tire causing it to go flat, so I visited this Discount Tire location and ended up working with Ruben. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to help. I also had a protection plan on my tires with a third party company, and Ruben worked directly with them to arrange the billing for my replacement tire at no cost to me. Him and his team even stayed after hours to complete the replacement of my tire. Amazing service. I will be returning to this location for any of my future tire needs.

I have been used this discount tire store for many years. The service is very good. Usually the waiting time is about 45 minutes.

So far so good. The place is clean. The people are friendly, and the service is fast. They didnt let customers cut in line (and they tried) and gave honest advice and accurate quotes. They patched my tire for free as well, and which saved me a ton of money in an already too expensive month.

I have been here twice and both times they were incredibly well staffed, efficent, and above all friendly! Even with what seamed like 10 others in front of me, 1 hour wait! I am impressed!

Courteous expedient service for a good price is what I expected and experienced. It has also been consistent service from the three different Discount Tire Stores Ive patroned in my area. The basic guarantees they provide on your tires can really make your day pleasant if you happen need it. I currently havent gone anywhere else for tires in the past few years and they have not given me reason to.

Ive always had good service here. They have filed at least two or three claims for tires that didnt make the tread wear warranty for me. On one occasion it was for the OEM tires which they didnt even sell! This location can be quite busy, but they always seem to be moving customers through as quickly as possible.

I had an appointment but arrived early so they helped me out right away since the walk-in wait wasnt long. So, I got done way earlier than I expected (based on the hot time the online reservation had prepared me for). They also seemed to have a very efficient system, and the guy helping me seemed very knowledgeable. I was actually impressed with how little time it took to replace my tires compared to getting tires replaced, repaired, or rotated at other locations in the past. It might have been because it was first thing in the morning, but these guys actually seemed to be hustling to get the job done (at other locations in the past, they seemed to just be taking their time, but not these guys).They are located on the northbound service road just south of the Home Depot, which was convenient for me since I was running errands in the area.

Usually, this location is extremely friendly and fast services and have never ever had a problem. Well, not today. I brought my UCar in to get a tire fixed from picking up a nail. They noticed I needed new front tires. This was at 1:32p.m. and was told by the rep it would be until 3:00p.m. so I went and grabbed a bite to eat next door while waiting. I came back at 2:30p.m. and noticed several customers after me were finished and leaving. So I asked why my car had not moved since I pulled it in, they said we are working on it. I said...thats funny cause my car has NOT moved. At 2:55p.m., they pull my car into a stall, which 2 stalls were open with no cars in them. At 3:04p.m. the rep says they are pulling your tires now. Finally, Im pulling away at 3:20p.m. but not before looking on the receipt which said out of there at 3:05p.m. I got the proof by their new receipt. SMH! Wont ever come back at this time of the day here again.

Although having a blowout on Central Expressway was a nerve-wracking experience, I was extremely fortunate that it happened just blocks away from Discount Tire Store! Calvin was my main rep; however, all the gentlemen there were extremely nice, friendly and courteous, including the young man who brought my car to me after services were done.Calvin really helped with the cost by finding a gently-used tire in stock to replace the one that was damaged.If at all possible, I will go back to this location when I need new tires in the future. I dont live nearby but I was really impressed with their service and professionalism and will make every effort to provide them with my business in the future.
