I recently went to several different mechanics but the prices were outrageous for brakes . I called first pro and I received a warm welcome and was told to come in instantly. So I went there for an oil change today with my oil drain plug being stripped. I told the owner or manager I want an oil change and change of the drain plug. He verbally told me 25 for the oil change(labor) 20 for the drain plug and 25 for the labor for extracting the plug. I mentioned the bolt head is not broken off, it is just striped. A big vice grip or bolt extraction tool should take care of it just fine. I brought my own oil, filter, and new drain plug with me. So he said he wants to check it first. Then the mechanic used an extractor socket with few tabs of hammer to lock in place and then used breaker bar. The process was just like using an regular socket, only difference is replacing it with an extractor socket. The plug then came off very easily, and the mechanic carried on with the rest of the oil change.Now, when it came the time of payment, the owner initially wanted to charge me 70+ as if he forgot I got my own drain plug, then I was arguing with him about the labor. 25 extra dollar for the same process only using slightly different tool, regular socket vs an extraction socket. It took the mechanic same amount of time. I was not happy. The owner claimed the extraction tool cost very much, but you can google it and it is not that expensive. Plus, the tool are made to last and have lifetime warranty. Bottom line is that it is too much. I am already doing an oil change so this should be done like a courtesy. It is not extra work being done. My other car had the same issue about a year ago, the dealer just charged me for the plug itself but no labor as I am already doing the oil change there. It would be understandable for extra charge if the bolt requires drilling, tabbing, etc . However, in this case It not.

Smooth talker Sam and his team did some work on my truck because it was leaking oil. So I let them do it and also changed the spark plugs.Well they did that and about a month later it started leaking oil. So I took it back and the lair said that they didnt touch that part and clearly they did because they had to take that part off first to get to the other part.well he didnt want to fix it he wanted more money when it was his fault .This guy will lair to you just to get your money. I recommend not taking your vehicle there unless you want to be Screwed.

Today I came in for a diagnostics check on my Camaro and got it repaired in the same day. Sam, the owner, was super transparent and honest with me about my cars functionality and recommended changing the spark-plugs in my engine since they were long overdue for a replacement. Prior to the repair my car was running below capacity and would not accelerate as normally as it should have been doing in the first place but now it feels almost brand new. Thankfully there were no major complications. Thank you to Sam and his staff of knowledgable employees. I would 10/10 recommend to bring your vehicle in for any work it may need.
