The night before I had an idea about a badge that I needed for work and I wanted to see if I could get it down within 24 hours. I used the google search and Crown Trophy came up, located in Plano Texas. The owner Kim greeted me immediately and listened intently to what I was asking for. Oh My God, she went beyond my expectations! She actually went ahead and did my order on the spot, and the price was so reasonable. I totally recommend Crown Trophy and I know my customers are going to want to know where I got this beautiful badge! Thank you Kim, I really appreciated your service and kindness!

I had a short timeframe to get 15 rosettes. I talked to someone on Friday who was lovely and had great customer service. She was confident they would be able to get everything ready and she said she would email me all the details. I followed up via phone call on Monday because I never received an email from the first person and the second person who answered the phone was very rude. She was talking over me very loudly insisting an email was sent but I never responded. I asked if they could let me know what email address they sent it to and they couldnt tell me my email (probably because they didnt send one). I understand things happen like that and that is why I followed up but the manner in which this person talked to me was very rude. She also kept repeatedly saying that there was nothing she could do since it was 2pm and she wouldnt have time to reorder. I calmly stated that it was 1:19pm and I asked if she could at least check on the inventory she had at the store. In the end they were not able to help me meet my timeframe which is not their fault but the customer service was bad enough to prompt me to write this review.

I have been using Crown Trophy for the last ten years to put together various plaques, gifts, and awards for the company for which I work. I have brought them crazy things that we wanted mounted as part of the award (infrared weapon sights, infrared goggles, silicon wafers, etc.). I have sung their praises until the last several months. They were sold to a new owner sometime in the last few years and the customer service has become non-existent at best. At the beginning of COVID, in March 2020, the new owner let most of the employees go and ever since then, I cannot get them to return a call or send me a proof in a timely manner. Everything I send them is custom. I create all the artwork for the plaques and send it to them…everything is ready to go. They do not have to do much but produce a proof and put the award together.The last few projects I have sent them has required me to contact them and ask about the proof and why I have not yet received one. I used to receive a proof without giving it a second thought. The latest project involves mounting a component, which we produce, onto a wooden plaque with a sublimated / inscribed plate beneath it as a retirement gift.I dropped the component off on 23 March when I looked at various wooden plaque options and made a selection. Kim, the owner, didn’t write down anything when I was there; not the company name, not my name, not the wooden plaque I selected, or did she put a name on the static bag with the component we want to mount on the plaque in it. When I got back to my computer, that same afternoon, I sent the finished artwork for the sublimation to the store. It is now 29 March and I have received nothing...not a sales order, a quote, or a proof. I called them and they had no clue to what I was referring. They FINALLY found the e-mail I sent with the artwork but could not confirm whether they knew where the component we want mounted on the plaque is. The component is something created by the man for whom the retirement plaque is being created. That component is the biggest part of the whole thing.I never had one concern about anything with the previous owner. Now I think I have just placed my last order with them. I hate to say this as they have been awesome to work with in the past, but the new owner and the staff she has chosen to hire do not instill any confidence in me. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

Needed trophies for an appreciation ceremony for our team and was able to get the trophies we needed in days. When I called, I think they were a little overwhelmed, and the customer service wasnt 100% but we asked, and received. So in the end its a good place to get what you need!! I would recommend for the quality product for sure! (:

I used to use this company and they were great. I dont know if it got bought or is under new management but they are absolutely horrible now. Ive been trying to get an order approved through them for the last month and a half and they refuse to get the job completed. I would steer clear from this business.

Amazing! Needed a traveling trophy for work on a whim. Customer service was great, and I was able to walk out in 30 mins with my engraved trophy! With so many choices, Ill never use anyone else

Will use again! I needed last moment awards for work and found Crown online and saw they had a local store. Michelle there was helpful, communicated back quickly, and was able to work with me on what they could produce in my limited window of time. The quality in no way was less considering my 48 hour turn around.

Crown Trophy is the best place to buy trophies, better than online. You can choose your own and customize as per your need. I was in rush when my online orders got cancelled and crown trophy saved me from the embarrassment of my next day tournament. The entire crew started working on my orders on a Saturday and got it delivered to me in less than an hour. Great customer service and very humble people. Placed an order via email. Did not get a response for over a day. I called only to find out that I was talking to Ryan who was talking to me like a teenager. He said they were waiting on payment. I asked them how much. He said he does not know. I then asked, How can I pay if I dont know how much?. He obviously did not have an answer for that. I asked if I can talk to someone else and he goes, No because everyone is busy. So I am on a stand still waiting on someone to call me for an order that I need to get done by Friday. Where are we headed these days with people talking to customers like s**t?

What can I say....Trophies, medals, plaques, name tags, ribbons, and more. I have been coming to the Plano Crown Trophy for more than 9 years and have had exceptional service on every order. They are always ready to help me with any suggestions when I just dont have the time to search for an option. Each person has taken the time to ask the right questions and help me make the best decision for the event/person.The customer service is exceptional. Shopper beware! The staff is clueless, and if you have a problem hope you do not get Kim on the phone. Took a printout of what I wanted, layout, sizes and there is no way anyone shouldnt be able to plainly see what I described, the engraver couldnt, got mad and then spoken to like I 5 years old. She told me I was rude all because I didnt know anything and should learn how explain what I wanted, was told they were too busy to waste their time to make what I wanted. Kim called me stupid then refused to refund my money, after refusing to make my order, and had to file a claim with my credit card company.

Very helpful staff. Not sure if everyone is as awesome as the folks there today, but I got the allstar team. We picked a trophy gift, had it engraved and were on our way in 15 minutes...no pre-order, they just knocked it out. I will come here for all of my trophy/engraving needs.

Very friendly & super fast! I ordered an engraved desk name plate for my husband on a Tuesday and they had it ready by Wednesday afternoon. The name plate is gorgeous and perfect! Very courteous & professional at the front desk -- highly recommend this place for your trophy and engraving needs!

This is a joke of an establishment.In 2014, I placed an order for 12 plaques. Now the plaques came out with the right specifications, but they didnt include 2 plaques that were supposed to go along with the order. They had all the information and just forgot to do two plaques.I was forgiving at that point because mistakes happen. We ended up shipping the two other plaques to the respective gentlemen. A few months ago, I again approached this business to get the plaques done. This time I needed 15 plaques. NOT ONLY did they only complete 9 plaques, every single plaque was done incorrectly.After bringing this to their attention, they did absolutely nothing to help me. Do yourself a favor and avoid getting your trophies/medals/plaques from this establishment.

Staff was prompt to get my requirements, offer options and work around the budget. They had cricket trophies, which was nice to know. The trophies came in a varied range of prices !! Great experience !!

Worst customer experience I might have ever experienced. They said our trophy was ready to pick up, got there and it was wrong. A week and half later they notified us it was ready and when picked up nothing had been done except they printed a new name placard and stuck it inside the trophy. When asked about this they fixed it and gave us this. Then when emailed about the poor quality customer service and poor quality of work offered no apology, only a reply of We will fix it. I have zero desire to make a 3rd trip to this miserable place and then a 4th to pick up what Im sure will be more of the same work and customer service we have received thus far. Im sure this place will be out of business soon if changes arent made. Go elsewhere!

I had bad experience with this people. I have ordered for a plaque last year and I took it back to them for spelling correction for three times and they never do the proof reading before giving to you, This year they repeated same thing and also they charged me for redoing the writing, In other words they charged me for their mistake, I tried to explain it to the employees and they did not even listened to me, No action, No sorry, I never recommend these guys to you,

This place is terrible and thats a understatement. I walked in Friday Januray 15th 2016 placed A ordered I needed that following Friday. I call Tuesday January 19th 2016 to make sure everything was good with my order. Not only did they not place my order that claim I never came in that Friday. Then they have the nerve to try to lie to me saying it will be in when I need it to still try to make a sell. Why this place is still is business is beyond me!Ontop of that the people were dressed like bums. Sweatshirts and sweat pants. Dogs were running around everywhere. Professionalism is something this place NEEDS! I beg all people to never go here unless you want to deal with incompetent people.
