Great place if you like books. I also found two movies that are very hard to find so I was very happy I decided to go there. Everything is very organized and the people that work there are very nice and helpful!

This location is fine, and there is nothing wrong with it, but I can really only give it 3 stars because its absolutely tiny.

Stopped by on our way through town. Nice store and location, didn’t have what I was looking for. Roof was leaking and they had a bucket out, was surprised to browse beside it and feel water drop on me from a separate leak and could see then there was a dark water spot on the carpet.

Love this place for the books games and occasional CD, yes Im still buying CDs so is my son.

Picked up a cassette collection of old radio detective plays. So awesome.

Kind of disappointed with the amount I got for the books I was selling - like 6 boxes worth for only $30. :/ If youre buying, however, theyve got a nice selection, and very friendly and helpful staff. Check out the 10+ racks full of Christian fiction, if thats your thing.

I have been a patron of Half Price Books for years! I have been coming to the Plano location recently and found an array of vintage books along with a recent purchase of Venom- 1st Edition comic book. My favorites by far has been The Book of Numbers, Merck’s 1899 Manual, The Human Face of Data and Remembering Frank Sinatra.Phenomenal steals at $3!

Very nice Half Price Books! It seems to be a bit roomier compared to the Frisco location and they have a good selection of items. I was able to find what I was looking for, I will be back.

Wonderful place to walk around, almost always finding something super interesting here. They’re also pretty quick about buying used books, just bring them in and get an offer usually in about an hour.

Service is usually good, the supplies well its a complete hit or miss. Occasionally the comments from staff looking over the books to buy are odd, I guess people really do like to spend more according to staff by not purchasing any series on DVD, non fiction books that are like 10 years old because no one buys them🤔 Oddly enough if you drive over to Barnes and Noble and find the same book but newer it is still for sale in their store so maybe some people buy them?? Maybe they rethink stuff? Just saying

Good store. Lots of hard to find vintage books, magazines & LPs. (Must be over 50 to know what LPs are.) LOL. Parking is horrible. Very busy and congested shopping & restaurant area. Go early. Park by TGIF and walk the 100 feet to the bookstore; youll thank me later.

Wide selection of media, from records & cassettes to books, dvds, & board games. Prices are quite affordable, and the clearance section is always with a peek. Selling he can be pretty hit or miss though. One persons treasure is anothers trash and all that.

I was looking for the D&D Players Handbook and two of the employees (wish I had gotten their names) looked in the system to see if any locations had it. They found one at a neaby location and put it on hold for me as soon as they found it. I was able to go get it and Im super grateful! They were really helpful.

Love this place. They were more than generous to hold a particular movie that a loved one was searching hard for. I was able to surprise him after looking everywhere. Theyre always friendly and practing covid 19 preventions quite well, also. Im usually there for People magazines for the puzzles, but I adore their service and selection even more.

Store is good but everytime I go in there its always really hot? In the summer it was unbearable. I am not sure they have AC.

I love half price books. A wide variety of media and they have a great selection of journals.

Such an amazing experience. Not the best place to sell books if you want to make a lot of money, but if you were thinking of throwing them away or donating them, Half Price Book store is the place to go to sell them for a little bit of money, Got $1.98 for 7 books, not the best, but wasn’t planning go on selling them anyway.The girl at the front desk and even the back were SOOO kind. More than willing to help out.You can sell your books here from 2-4 p.m., I came around 12 p.m. and they were kind enough to look at my books at that time.Helpful and kind people. Customer service was excellent!

I absolutely love Half Price Books! This location is extremely well staffed, organized, and cozy. The buyers are constantly busy, but keep things organized and are on top of it! From the music section to the clearance, you are bound to find something unique at a good price. This location is packed on the weekends! Highly recommend, especially during holidays and sales!

Do anybody who is a book enthusiasts and is looking to find a way to fill their minds with information thats will kill them and make them better to you I speak personally. Half Price Books is one of the best bookstores that exist! it may not have every book that you never wanted but it usually has many surprises and has convinced me that it is worth going to as many times as possible. I bought my first car book from HP Lovecraft from a Half Price Books and since then I have been more interested in buying all of his books and I realized that he is better than Stephen King. So I would recommend this store and anybody trying to discover new literature and make something better of themselves to go and take a look and read as much as you want.

Was in here 5 minutes before I left, I like coming to this half price books all the time but this time I was in and that was due to trying to sell something. I tried to sell a first print Harry Potter book in the back to the lady running the counter but was met with bad attitude for trying to sell 5 minutes after they stop taking stuff which was after 4. Other cases I would just come back later but was met with comments like it says it on the front dooror you should of read it and even Its there for everyone to read. Well excuse me for not noticing and knowing the times have changed for Corona virus. I get that Half Priced Books is under staffed and if she would of said sorry we cant take anymore that would of been great instead of attitude. She did scan the book only to offer me a dollar for a first print of Harry Potter. 🤷‍♂️

My husband and i went there on Oct 1 2020 and he was asking about an item that the box was all dented in,he asked if anything could be taken off the price. He walked up to 2 ladies and asked one of them and she bold face lied and said i just got this in and cant reduce it.He said ok and when we walked away I was looking at the lady who said that and she was looking at the other one like she just didnt want to do it.The date on the yellow sticker they put on there was July 2020,so its been there 4 months and she just out right lied and didnt wa t to help.

A good place to spend a couple of hours with babies&kids at any age. This place is very well organized. I can always find what I need easily. If you are looking for cheap second hand books for children, I found hard cover books have better deals than board books do.

I forgot that they closed at 10 and not 11. I was there for only 3 minutes but the workers were so nice. Politely and sincerely asking if I needed any help. Small in size store.💞

Never know what hidden gem you might uncover, love rummaging through the store seeing what I can uncover. Cant speak much for staff or other aspects of this location, but it certainly has something for everyone.

I shop until I drop here. My favorite book store in the world. Ken at the Frisco store and Kyle at the Plano store are some of the best managers at half price books in the USA. I love this bookstore for life. There very helpful too always.

Everytime I visit its great. This time I left with a sweet Twin Peaks book that I hadnt seen anywhere else and a couple great reads on art. I wish there was one in Northwest Arkansas!

If youre looking for a good deal on some books this is the place to go. The selection was good. The shelves were very well organized. The staff was friendly and eager to help. They also have a section for games. And another section for vinyl albums. I will for sure be back and would recommend this place to others.

This one is a bit nicer and well-kept than some others in the DFW area. The staff is also helpful. Perfect for going into the metaphysical section and sobbing in the corner as you go through an existential crisis. The books are well organized.

This location has some of the best quality used DVDs. I typically shop clearance and will usually luck out and find movies I dont own with hardly any to no scratches on them. That is not always the case for many used products. Its also easy to return products, or sell them back if you decide later you do not want them.
