The staff is helpful and helped me decide between two books. The kids selection and kid crafts are also amazing .The adult books dont have a wide variety ( no fault of the store, supply and demand).Was disappointed theres no cafe.

This B&N location is and always will be my favorite. Ive been shopping there for about 25 years, since I was a teenager. Now, my own teenager loves shopping there as much as I do! We love yall B&N!

I like this bookstore. I went there yesterday to pick up a book that I had ordered several months ago.

Went for story time with my 7 Year old and she enjoyed it a lot. The story reader did a good job reading and engaging the kids. I will go back whenever I have an opportunity.

Very difficult to shop this store. Books are not organized in a way to find what you are looking for..you will have to find someone to look up the book only to be told they dont have the title ( even though the website indicates they do). Just a frustrating experience. Amazon is cheaper and they have the title.

I had visited this location on 2/5/21 The younger woman working there was able thoroughly organized the business genre section and was able to quickly locate the exact location of my book 43 laws of power.had an excellent experience here

I went to look for large print book and many word searches for new lock down.

Clerk nice. Walked me to the items I neede instead of pointing or giving directions. When checking out he stopped stocking and returned to the register. Personal service is not the norm in my experiences.

Would give it a 4 and a half stars if I could, amazing line up of books and it has most of the essential ones along with a good lineup of music. A few critiques, the music section could be a bit more organized. Perhaps in alphabetical order or something like that. I was looking for Good Kid Maad City by Kendrick Lamar, and I could not find it for the life of me. I had no idea where anything was. If youre going there for a Beatles album or something, youll be able to find it. The classic rock department is not lacking. Overall, dont come here for anything obscure, books or music, although I will continue to shop here since it does the job. Good store and friendly staff.

This was my very first time visiting this Barnes & Noble location. I even received a beautiful history lesson on this location while getting four gifts wrapped. The Customer Service Representative Mrs. Pat who assisted me had been employed at this location for 19 years thats wonderful. She was very friendly, kind, knowledgeable, efficient, and welcoming. She truly love the customers and helping them find what they need and want. I will definitely shop here again and I highly recommend everyone else to enjoy shopping at this location real soon. The team here is super helpful! I was looking for a book I couldnt find at other Barnes and Noble locations and when I asked for se help finding it, they found it even when their system and the website said they didnt have it! I decided to pick up a few more items to support them since I had such a positive experience 👍 I highly recommend the team and this location!

The store shelving had been rearranged since my last visit so it took a little time to adjust to the layout. Good selection of items, and I found exactly what I wanted.

They were stand offish and disappeared while I was looking around. But once I went to check out They all came from the back and crowded around the cashier as though I was a robber. Looking at my every hand motion I guess thats because Im a black man. I guess Black People arent welcome in Barnes and Noble in Plano Tx. I have been a customer in Many different states Up north and never felt so uncomfortable. Dont worry I will never visit that location any more.

Have always enjoyed this book store. For this one being one of the smaller ones I have been to its by far still really well stocked of all the different genres of books you will need. They keep it nice and tidy on the floor. The bathroom is a bit older than others but, it is kept very clean still. I especially like the fact they have the Starbucks connected to the store but not in it. Its always calm and quiet inside and the employees are always courteous.Highly recommend this place.

Let me start this with I love Barnes & Noble. They have a great selection and affordable prices. However, every time Ive gone into this location with a specific request its like pulling teeth! Ill find the item online first and confirm that it is in stock at this location. This time I wanted a dragon fingerling. I showed the employee what I needed and she began the search. However, after a quick search I was told that what I wanted had to be requested before theyd have one in store. What? The website clearly states they have them in stock. I repeated again that they list it as being in stock, she showed me the screen that showed none available. After one glance I saw that they do in fact have them. Another employee had to show me where they were located (in a completely different location than their other fingerlings). Unfortunately, this is not the first time Ive had this experience. Maybe some training on how to use your system would be helpful, or maybe some training on where products were located would be great! Every time the associate ran all over the store looking for an item listed in the system. It should not be that hard.

Nice & clean. Attached Starbucks. Large collection of books, puzzles, board & card games. Staff was helpful. Found some Dragon Ball Z & Kingdom Hearts stocking stuffers. They also offer an educator discount!

Im a little biased because Im super brand loyal to Barnes and Noble, but this is still a solid location. I always get asked if I need help finding anything at least two times, but not in a pushy way. Usually I can find an employee to give me a solid book recommendation if I give them an idea of what I like. They have a pretty good selection, Ive not always been able to find what Im looking for specifically but I would say about 80% of the time. The prices arent as great as half price books, but thats a given. I like coming in to relax while I leisurely pick out a book.

It closed 1 hour earlier than what is stated on google maps.

They have a nice selection, rarely every do I walk out having not found what I was looking for. Nice selection of board games and trinkets too if you cant make it to your lgs.Most importantly, there has never been a time where the employees were rude or dismissive. On the contrary, its always a friendly casual experience. Friendly and more than happy to show you to your destination if you come in with a purpose rather than idly hunt for a good read.

Love the extensive selection of periodicals at B&N. Tons of great gift ideas too!

I had a great experience at this store. The young lady who helped me was great. She took me straight to the books I was asking for & showed me which ones were most popular. Then she returned a few minutes later & told me about the benefits of having a membership card. Plus she offered me a discount coupon. I saved quite a bit on my purchases which made up for the annual fee I paid.

Always enjoy going into a Barns & Noble. I could stay in there for hours browsing all the books that they have.

This was one of my favorite places in the world. I thought they were going to improve under the new regime, but I noticed this past weekend that there are many less 30 percent off books now. Most are full price. On top of it, the air conditioner is set to freeze. Its about 75 degrees outside and so cold inside one cant stand it with short sleeves on. Guess they dont want browsing customers!

This place has it all folks. From books, to magazines, to accessories, or places to have a casual read, this is it. Not only do they have a small patio outside, there is a Starbucks connected to the store for those that like a little caffeine to boost reading performance and focus.

They didnt have what I wanted, but I did end up buying a completely different book that was pretty close to one I had been wanting for some time.My only real complaint would be that the checkout time was very slow. With 2 cashiers and only 3 or 4 people in front of me, I still had to wait at least 10 minutes to checkout. So plan accordingly.Also, I found the book section I was looking for very quickly, but looking through that section took quite some time. Im not sure what the concept was for how everything was sorted within the rows. Maybe alphabetical order by the authors last name? That would work for some of the books, but subsections would have made it so I could have looked through one set of shelves instead of two whole aisles trying to find what I was looking for. I pretty much ended up giving up... Which could be why I couldnt find anything in that section that I wanted.

Everyone was extremely helpful from the moment I walked in, possibly even a little too helpful seeing as I walked out with more than I intended to buy! The woman that works in the childrens section was very very knowledgeable about the books and offered some great recommendations. This is basically the only reason why I leave McKinney and drive to Plano!

My family loves to go here. The staff are always friendly, and we always have a good time. There is a Starbucks inside, which is nice. Lots and lots of books to choose from.

Okay, when did Barnes and Noble (off 15th Street and close to N. Central Expressway) sneak up behind me and become such an outstanding store to shop in? Once upon a time (my age is showing) I actually thought it was just a book store. Silly me! They have all kinds of toys, some collectibles...a great Jr. Section for the not 21 Club yet, a vast array of Bibles, Journals, some leather. Really funny books to read such as cartoon artists best work in one book, and all of your other usual varieties. They have so many kids toys and guess what? They have some men and women toys too! What book store wouldnt be complete without tablets to read your books on, right? Its a great place to shop for gifts, to buy a book to read at Starbucks, connected to the store and from what I could see is the main entrance. I just had a great time in this store! This location is extremely well managed! During my 20 minute visit at least 3 employees helped me and gave excellent suggestions. I was very pleased with my visit!

The ladies at the customer service desk were fantastic and quick to help place an order for two books they dont carry as hard covers. But the woman at the Check out was acting like I was a huge inconvenience because I was exchanging two paperbacks for hardbacks I had ordered and had separate receipts for them... otherwise, clean facility and well organized

Never returning to this specific Barnes and noble. I love this store but the experience me and my husband had today was completely uncalled for. I get that the employees are wanting to help you look for something, but asking us 4 times if we have found what we were looking for yet and us not calling them over really was unnecessary, it felt like they wanted us to leave already. We felt so uncomfortable and discriminated against because we were also being watched as if we were going to steal from them. They tried to play it off but it was clear we weren’t wanted there, they acted like the books in the section we were in needed to be fixed every 20 seconds just to see what we were doing, if we moved they followed. I don’t understand what we did wrong we were not acting suspicious in any way.

It is so satisfying to go in to a bookstore that is clean and organized. No chaotic mess of books in shelves or toys all over the floor. Associate was friendly and very helpful in helping me find what so was looking for. I appreciate her taking the time to walk me to the section instead of just pointing.

Im not sure what some of the complaints on previous reviews are about, the store is well stocked, clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful every time Im there.

I like this location, not near as crowded as the Frisco location in the mall. Theyve redone what used to be the music section (ah good times) into more a collectables area, big selection of Funko Pops and a decent vinyl selection

All the latest books and great toys, too. They have comfy chairs to sit in and read. Also, they are attached to a Starbucks.

Customer services is outstanding every time we go my 9 year old can go up to the service desk and get help In locating a book and they walk over with my kid to the book too. And take orders to they care about kids reading that is one of the many reasons why we love them some plus the kids reading club kids club and the discount card membership too

Had the books i wanted

Barnes and Noble alway has very good customer service, if you know what you looking for they can direct you the exact place to find it. It can be as quick as five minutes from arrival to finding the book to pay and leave if you are in a hurry. For just browsing and reading there is a coffeehouse attached where you can sit. Also their kids books section is extensive and this location offers reading hour for children on Saturdays.

This is a great Barnes and Noble location. There is plenty of book selection to choose from and even other nick-nacks. Since there is a Starbucks connected to it, this makes as a great meet up spot to hang out.

Went to purchase 2 books. One was in stock the other had to be ordered. I was given the option of picking it up at the store or having it shipped to my house. The process was painless.
