Got my brakes done and the price was reasonable compared to other places and I got a nice discount other places didnt offer, still cost an arm and a leg but thats just what the work cost. The time estimate was about on point. They just definitely need to get more help because one guy just didnt need to be dealing with people and was gruff with the customers. I was kinda surprised. But, I dont think he was supposed to be working the front desk to begin with, but was cuz of being understaffed.

I got my oil change about 2 months ago at another Firestone location. Said car is in perfect condition and nothing else needed. Came today for an oil change, said my car needed almost $4000 worth of work and that it was all an emergency. Looked on my slip, and wasnt an emergency according to their written records. Now, my car is pulling like crazy and doesnt feel right, almost like my tires are not secure. I will take it to the other Firestone and see what they say. Everytime I come here, they try to upcharge me on everything and are extremely rude. I wont be back to this location ever again. I should have known better. But I gave them the benefit of the doubt.

I especially like this location. They do a great job on my tires and oil changes. Also today i had a flat tire at 630p and they close at 7p. I called and they still got me in, whichi very grateful. Overall they are awesome!

Discovered my oil light was on last Sunday afternoon. Stopped in here and the manager on duty checked it out for me. Evidently only a quart low on oil, and he quickly added a quart, without charging me anything. This is above and beyond! Although I dont live in Plano, I will definitely choose Firestone for auto service and repairs.

They charged me $ 370.81 but sent a work order receipt via email stating that they removed and replaced spark plugs for the total of $ 156.21. I am not sure what was done for the remaining $ 214.60.

This place charged me for new valve stems with my new tire purchase then didn’t put new ones in. Tire was flat before I got it back on the car. Looked at another new tire they mounted a few days before and same thing, old valve stem.

CAVEAT EMPTORThis place is why people dont trust mechanic/car people.Employee demanded cash, refused credit (for an already overpriced tire) in case you go home and cancel the transaction.Prior interaction with my daughter had employees telling her she needed four new tires and windshield wipers to pass inspection for a nearly new car. When confronted directly, of course, this was not the case.Steer clear of this, and any other Firestone.Cant treat your customers like the dirtbag criminals you guys have proven to be.Never again.My next call is to Visa/Mastercard. I was in a major panic as I could not get the drivers side window up. It was cold and about to rain. I went to the Firestone on Ave K in Plano and Walter was very courteous, professional and caring about my issue. They got my car in fast and the repair was done! Very pleased and hats off to Walter for taking away my STRESS and making my day better! Would highly recommend Firestone....they are GREAT!#firestonerforlife😁👍

This location messed up my wheel alignment. My car started pulling to the right after they did it. They also wouldnt balance my tires. Tried to sell me $700 tires and $1500 control arm work. I took it to another Firestone to fix this one’s mistake and they got me tires for only $400. No mention of needing control arms. My car drives perfectly fine now. Avoid this location.

Ok at best. Staff was nice but said it’d be a couple of hours for inspection and tire change, so I wanted in lobby. 4 1/2 later it was done!

Even one star is more than it deserve, extreme rude staffs, from mechanic to front desk. Been 1st time for oil change and they tricked/charged 350$ for it. Second time I had small issue which they could not fix but to check and say they are inefficient of doing it they changed 54$s. Pathetic service.

I feel that they upcharge on prices, especially if you are a woman and do not explain well regarding issues with your vehicle. I dont want you to diagnose and charge me and then say it may fix my problem. I will not be going back!!!

They were charging me $1500 to fix my car.... saying labor alone was gonna be like $350. Took my car to GTO automotive and got my car fixed for $270 labor and parts included.

They arent professional at all, and they will till you that you will take 1:30 min to change the tire but they will take 3 to 4 hour to solve any problem. I dont like it at all

Beware and prepared to be ripped off. I was charged $960.00 for a service I found out later that should have cost around $200.00. Even if the website (see image) is a low ball price, they charged me $450.00+ for a part that ranges from $89 to $120 at most places. Even if I went with a high end part, its still under $200.00...Also, the lifetime alignment service is a scam. I have requested it be done both times I was in this year, and both times it was not done. First time, they said the couldnt get done due to my time crunch (even though they still had me waiting hours for an inspection and tire replacement). Second time, I requested it be done since they would have my car all day. When I looked at the receipt, it said I had denied this service even though I asked the sales rep specifically to make sure it gets done along with a tire rotation (which also was not done).Needless to say, I recommend getting a second opinion on anything done by this place.

This has to be one of the WORST locations possible in DFW I’ll never do business with them or let friends or family use them after todays experience...It’s officially Friday afternoon, I dropped my car off at their shop last night Thursday evening they told me they were going to started at 6:30 in the morning and it will be ready by the time I get there in the afternoon well I arrived at about 1 PM and to buy surprise seeing my car still being worked on and “Checked out” after as much time that I left him with the car I told them please check the car from bumper to bumper I DONT CARE how much it cost I will pay whatever it takes to figure out what’s wrong with my vehicle they said I need new shocks and catalytic converters... that’s it.. but here I am replacing 2 wheel bearings a bad tire and a vacuum line, as well as replacing my hood latch since they broke it and didn’t tell me, (that’s probably why they waived my diagnostic fee) I TOLD him to get it up to 70 to hear the issue..CSR said they just drove it around the block... these guys are extremely lazy, unprofessional and extremely lack knowledge...I was very displeased with the performance they brought today and I’ll be following up with corporate because if they “ were” gonna charge me anything it would have been for an arrest after taking ol boy out back and giving him that real dallas 2 piece special.

Cant praise the quality, service and professionalism of this store enough. I had over $2,000 of repairs completed on 8/11/20 to keep my sons college car safe and on the road so he didnt have to get a third job to save up for a new car. It was his birthday gift from his Father and I. As you may have seen my other post working with Service advisor Devin Abbey was so great he walked us through which repairs we had to have vs ones we could wait on which was extremely helpful to us and he walked us through every single line item to make sure we understood everything top to bottom. But now I had the occasion this many days later (8/21/20) to interact with the store manager Ryan and he really blew me away and I really wanted to write this review and publicly thank him for a private apology I had to give him earlier. My son drove the car to NY like he is prone to do as thats where his finance lives and when he arrived he had a car issue that I thought firestone had fixed as part of my 8/11/20 visit and I told my son to take it right away to a firestone in NY (they will be my next 5 star review) and I called Ryan and I was so mad because my husband and I both were so convinced that we were right that we both unloaded on Ryan. Ryan was sooooooo patient with us and just listened to everything we had to say - then got all his facts in order explained everything to us in a calm cool collected respectful manner and we both realized we were dead wrong. Firestone had done everything right and our assumption about the problem our sons car was having in NY was totally factless and baseless and man did we feel stupid. Ryan even helped me by calling the Firestone in NY to help them understand everything they did to the car and everything we had discussed before NY contacted me. So big kudos to this store!

I went in knowing what I wanted already, so I cant say much about their sales pitches, but they were friendly and helpful, and didnt try to upsell me. My transaction was handled quickly and the price on the tires I bought was better than most. I used to be a Discount Tire guy, but they were less than helpful last time I was there, so it looks like Im now a Firestone guy.

We have taken our vehicles to this Firestone location for years. We trust them completely and can recommend them with confidence and without hesitation. They will always be honest, never use pressure, and will always stand behind their work. Most recently, they even fulfilled warranty on work I had done at an out of state location. As long as we reside in this area, this Firestone Complete Auto Care will be our shop of choice. Their integrity deserves top praise and I wish them amazing success.

I dropped my car off they said it would be done in an hour and a half or an hour and forty five min. I showed up two and a half hours later and they never even touched my car. So I asked for my keys and left this is the second time they did this to me I will never go back.

Yesterday May-25, I went for my car code scan and engine diogonist problem (yellow light on) and they told me issues with spark plugs ( all 6) and Ignition coil. They charged me 711.28 to fix this. When I came back to my home, same issue started again just after they fixed it. Today May-26, I called in morning about this problem, I dropped my car in morning 8 AM and after follow-up I got my car with same problem at 5 PM and I got new suggestion replace PCM with new amount 1464.64. I am not happy with such services and my money 711 is totally wasted as the issue is still unfixed and I paid the amount.

Took my car in for front end realignment. They replaced the shocks and some steering stuff also 4 new tires. All in all $3,000.00 worth of parts and work. They had to replace the lug nuts and didnt replace them with all the same kind. Some have a raised head and some have a recessed head. Then I told them the brake light was out on the drivers side and to please replace it. They didnt. After all of this work the car still wont steer straight. They also tried to up sell everything. I would recommend going over everything very carefully and make sure that you understand what they are going to repair. The service guys were very nice of course but they are more concerned with getting you to spend more and more. The tires they suggested I get were of course the most expensive they had. I told them several times I was on a very limited budget and needed tires that were cheaper. I didnt need the 75,000 mile warranty. 20,000 was more that enough. Needless to say I wont be back.

Ive been coming to this Firestone for 3 years now for my annual safety inspection on my car. They generally do a quick, easy job. This most recent time (2018), I was exceptionally pleased as it took them less than 15 minutes to perform the inspection. One of the attendants was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had a nice little chat. If you fail the safety inspection you can bring it in again to have it retested at no cost for up to two weeks.

All ways done a great job.

Went in for an oil change and tire rotation. The worker told me that my brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced as soon as possible. He gave me an estimate for about $800. I went and got a second opinion and they told me that my brake pads had at least several months left and the rotors were fine. The estimate at that place was also much less than Firestones. Wont be going back.

This Firestone always does an excellent job. They have given excellent service for years.

I had a really good experience at this Firestone today. They informed me that the tire rotation is free if you have a Firestone card. Which is different from what two other locations said and I’ve paid for it to be done before on 15th and Custer. Anyways they did the alignment and tire rotation on my Jeep and the steering feels super tight now. Thank you Jesse!

They have a new manager and its great now. My lifetime alignments on my trucks are always honored. Best experience so far was when I came in for a pressure test and they got an air Pocket out and also put a o ring that was missing on my oil dipstick without charging.

I normally go to this location for service on both of my vehicles. They service my car hey did not even put air in the tires which was very low. This last visit I noticed a lot of new employees and diminishing level of service. I will probably not go back!

I brought my Jaguar XF in because of a rough idle and a check engine light on which I know is generally better off at a dealership but I was hoping it was something simple. Initially they told me to call and check if I had an extended warranty in an attempt to save me money. Since I did not, they took my car and said they might not be able to fix it because I had 16 service lights that were lighting up and they didnt have the technology to read what the service codes were; they said only a jaguar place would be able to read it. They also told me it was more than likely a fuel hose that they saw that was damaged so I had them fix it. I know that was already my second mistake but I was hoping for the best.When I picked my car up, it immediately started up the same way that it had before and the check engine light was still on. They then told me that sometimes it takes a while for the check engine light to go off and to give it a couple days and if it was still doing the same thing to bring it back.I know I am a fool but again, they were the professionals so I trusted them.Two days later I brought it back and they told me they wouldnt charge me for another diagnostic, once they ran that they informed me that they knew what was wrong, it was something to do with it being supercharged and it would cost about $1,000. Because no where else would take a diagnostics test run by another shop and I googled the part online and saw that it was about $600-$700 I assumed that was par for the course. When I picked my car up two days later, the start up was subdued and the check engine light was off. Less than a day and a half later it was back. I called them and they told me we were just doing process of elimination and there were still other check engine lights on that they couldnt read and at that point I gave up.Im just going to put this out there, I dont think anyone should go here. Whether you have a luxury car or not, I dont think that they will be honest with you, and they will manipulate you at any opportunity. I know I was ignorant, naive, and uninformed but either way they took advantage where they could and basically stole from me.

The guy behind the counter was very nice. I had to do a state inspection and was in and out in 45mins! I love Firestone, I have been taking my car to be serviced with them only for over 10yrs.

Chad and his team have gained my trust. As a female, I feel like we get the run around and have over priced/unnecessary services on our cars because we dont know cars I had the complete opposite experience with Chad! My car had some codes pop up that they couldnt recreate, cleared the system and 545 miles later, it popped up and ended up being a fuel injector failing causing my cylinder to misfire. He could have easily told me that replacing it Firestone was my only option, but he took the time to call me and ask me to call the dealership to see what was covered under my warranty. Honesty is the biggest fault when it comes to service shops and Chad & Firestone on K Ave is just that! I will recommend them to anyone that needs service completed. You have a loyal customer! They never fix my car correctly, I have to go back, and burn more time for waiting ( rotation tires) alignment . Poor services. It’s not one time . I thought at the first time it’s normal but then I figured out it’s consistently mistaken.

I had my wiper blades replaced by them . They did not remove the plastic cover on one of them and it scratched the windshield . I will have to get it replaced . They acknowledged that they did it but refused to fix it.

Ive brought my car in a few times and have had adequate service. The last time I was here there was a younger service manager that was rather curt and rude and had the feeling I would not be revisiting. However, I had a problem with a tire and they had a warranty from Firestone. So I returned to get my tire replaced. However, this time around they seemed to have a new service manager (an older gentleman by the name of Rusty I think?) who was extremely patient and calm with every customer and person he dealt with. My service took longer than expected but he was very upfront about everything.

I had am Amzing experience. Luis was the world a better place by helping my fix my tire.

The cashier was very friendly when I called to see if they were busy and to see if I could come in. I just needed a quick light fix and they did an awesome job! The mechanic was nice and the cashier was nice he struck up a conversation and just seemed to legitimately like talking to people. I loved firestone on lavon and i loved this one and I will continue to have my buisness with them.

Reputable business, brought my SUV in to have the brakes replaced because dealer said they were @ 20%. They checked all the brakes for free and said I had at least another 15,000 to 20,000 miles left on the pads. Great honesty, and when I do get them replaced, it will cost 40-50% less than the dealer price.

My father took his 2003 Toyota Tacoma into Firestone to have the valve cover gaskets replaced. During the process of replacing them, the Firestone mechanic broke one of the valve covers. We were informed of this and it was replaced at no cost to us. After getting the truck out of the shop, we found that the truck was blowing excessive white smoke from the exhaust. The truck was taken back in only to find out that the other valve cover gasket had been cracked as well. Again this was replaced at no cost to us. After having picked the truck up for a second time, we are now having the same problems with the truck smoking. I would notrecommend Firestone to anyone who has a problem with their vehicle engine. Now we are faced with taking our vehicle to the Toyota dealer as we have no confidence in Firestones mechanics.

Now I feel like I am riding a helicopter when ever I ride the car.I went to complain and get it fixed and the man that was helping me raied his voice at me saying it wasnt him who did it. And I told him still I came here to fix it not to make it worse and he talk back saying STILL.Now they are telling me to go to other store cause their machine is broken.Who is going to pay for my gas and my time.

I showed up about 15 minutes before they closed (7pm), and they still changed out a flat tire for me. They were already working on other cars, but they didnt complain a bit, and they STILL had me out in 30 minutes.

- Alloy rims are important appearance item and they ruined mine.- On one rim they let the tire machine drag a weight half way around rim making large gouge all the way. Other rims damaged by hand tools, balancing machine and even gouges from bead breaker tool.- Stone age guy using stone age tools.- Then to top it off, the manager tried to tell me the horrendous damage was there before coming to their shop. Finally mgr offered to have someone try to patch damage on worst rim. No thanks.

I actually bought Bridgestone tires at Costco. They recommended a wheel alignment within 500 miles in order to keep in compliance with the warranty on the new tires. I already had the lifetime wheel alignment through Firestone for my car, so I brought it in.Don was very helpful, he advised me to buy run flat tires instead of what I had already bought, which were the Turanza Serenity Pluses. When he priced out both sets of tires, the Turanzas were $60 less than Costco! I told him that it was too late, but he pointed out that Costco has the 30 day try and ride policy. That means that if within 30 days you dont like your new tires for any reason, you could return them for a refund.I went back to Costco and asked the guy behind the counter at the tire center. He confirmed that they do not price match and returning the tires was the best option. So I made an appointment with Don for the next day.When I arrived the next day, Don was not there. The person who helped me priced out the run flat tires and they were $250 higher than the Turanzas! I left my printed quote at home, but I remembered how much they should have cost. A quick call to Don and a few taps on the keyboard, and I was fine with the new price.I was told that it would take 40 minutes, so I stuck around instead of joining my kids at their 1 hour activity. There was a customer without an appointment who decided to leave if she couldnt be accommodated immediately, so somehow the manager fit her in for an oil change. Needless to say, there wasnt enough time to complete the alignment portion of my service.When I went to Costco to return the tires, the manager never had anyone actually bring tires in for a refund. At first, he didnt want to refund the installation fee. At $15 per tire, that wiped out any savings this strategy would have wrought! At my insistence, they tried to find the documentation for the return policy. Unable to find the policy in writing, he relented and authorized a full refund less the TPMS fee of $12.The moral of the story is this: do your shopping before committing. Once the refundable tires are on, its a real hassle to enforce it.Please like if this review has been helpful to you.

Got an oil change. They did not install the filter correctly allowing the oil to leak...a lot of oil. Wonder how much damage this has caused to my jeep.

Complete ripoff!! Lied to me that the tire needed replaced! Patched for $9 elsewhere no problem.

I think you better get a second opinion on what they suggest, else just avoid them. They charged $160 for a $17 screw that wasnt even required.

I placed a reservation online and got an email confirmation saying that I had the reservation slot. A few hours later I get a call from them telling me that I actually dont have the reservation and that they already booked someone else.

CROOKS! I found a competitive price for tires and alignment ($800) for my 2006 SUV and gave it to these guys. It wasnt long before I get a phone call saying that I had bad ball joints on the front end and their quote exceeded $600 to fix them. I asked them to stop everything, not even put tires on the car and I went and grabbed the car.I took the car to my trustworthy mechanic and he said that my ball joints were fine and to get my alignment done at NTB. So I listened to him and went up to NTB. They had me in and out in 30-45 minutes for my alignment and I got my tires at Discount Tire. All said and done I got better tires and I trust the job that NTB did for less money. ($720)My mechanic also added that Firestone is the biggest running joke in the business and he wouldnt take ANYTHING to them for any reason.After this experience I would have to agree. Do yourself a favor and take your car somewhere else.

Very slow, long wait times, and they do not communicate when there is a problem. They do seem to be open books once you call them frustrated that you havent gotten your vehicle back, or even a phone call explaining the multiple hour delay.

These guys are cheats, and inept. I took my car in for an alignment, and 4 new tires. After I got it back from them, the car did not ride right. it was truely messed up. I took it back to them, and they told me it was aligned within specs. which it wasnt finally after a 3rd time they realigned it, and it rode better. After a while the inside of my tires started to wear till they were completely smooth. they realigned it again, and said it was good. it still did not ride right. after a few months i noticed the inside of my tires were worn again, i took it back to them, and they started searching for any reason whatsoever not to fix the problem. they said my bearings were bad, they said that it was out of the warrenty period, so i said alright, i cant argue with the outside of the warrenty, however when i said so you will replace the tires they said they couldnt because it was caused by an allignment problem.... SERIOUSLY!!!! THEY MESSED UP MY CAR, CHARGED ME A FORTUNE, AND THEN WOULDNT FIX THEIR MISTAKES!!!! DO NOT GO TO THESE GUYS, THEY ARE INEPT. AND CRIMINAL. Just so you know this happened at two stores. This is a corporation wide issue. do not use them.

Same as above. Brought it in for inspection, tried to tell me I needed some sensors replaced that wouldnt ya know it! I replaced them before I got there. Guy told me to drive the car around until the computer resets and bring it back. Funny thing is that I had already taken it in to address everything that was wrong with it prior to theyre inspection and they said I needed more work then the dealership had already addressed.... sigh.... I hate being bent over for $40 and not taken out to dinner first!!! :DI thought I was saving time and money by not taking it there... they showed me...

Several months back I went to the firestone on 15th and had a horrible experience with the assistant manager. This morning I looked up tires for my truck and got the prices on the website before I came to this location.Well I now realize it is firestone as a corporate culture that trains the front desk employees to try and cheat and lie to customers. The price I was quoted intially was about $90 more than the online price. I told the sales person and he started to look up the website from his computer. Then he went to his truck to try and make a point by looking up the competitors prices next door with his iPhone. For some reason he wouldnt look up firestones website after he said he would.Which made me pull out my phone as well.Then he reduced the price by about $50 per tire which saved $100 but still not the online price. After catching this guy playing games with the prices, you could just see him being dishonest, I left. I will not be returning to another firestone.Now that I have my phone out, I think others should do their research before you buy from this company.

Took truck in for oil change...tried to say we needed 3,000$ for shocks, etc. Took to our regular mechanic who said we did not need any of this work done. Also, firestone tried to say we had a certain kind of shock to be repaired, which we dont even have! Stay away!!! Always get a second opinion if they say you need work done!

Extremely pushy to get credit card, mischarged even though I had brought it up to all employees that had talked to me while I was there, tried to sell me new air filters saying they desperately needed changing AFTER HAVING JUST REPLACED MINE.
