Extremely disappointed in this business as a whole. Was told its a family company and they treat their customers as so. Looked at a car on Saturday, bank was closed for the weekend and Monday for a holiday. Told the salesman that we would be purchasing this vehicle (they raised the price from when we saw the car & yet we were still buying it). The salesman sent over the bill of sale. Called the bank first thing Tuesday morning. We added this car to our insurance, they ran our credit and our loan was in underwriting, just waiting for the written stuff. Sent Blake an update only to get an email back that the car was no longer available and he walked in to work while someone else was buying it, did not stop them or anything. Tried calling right away and a few more times and he refused to answer. The car had jumped in price online again the same day. Do NOT do business with people that will back out on deals just to make a few extra bucks and dont even have the decency to speak to you over the phone in regards to their mistakes.

For the most part, typical car dealers. Called to inquire about the vehicle I was interested in, gave some details but were not up front with anything and had to ask nit picky questions for the details. Specifically asked about several things and turns out I was given incorrect information. Put a deposit down and flew into town to buy the pickup. Truck was only mildly as described. Turns out it was a smoker when I was told it was not. Rust everywhere even though I inquired specifically about it. Ac went out an hour after leaving after I was told the truck had been driven two hours and everything worked flawlessly. Truck was a half way decent deal so monetarily not much of a loss. Wouldn’t go back if I had the choice. Buyer beware. Fortunately, motor runs well and drives decent

I recently bought their 2009 Nissan 370z they had for sale and this was the best car buying experience Ive ever had. Blake helped me out from beginning to end with the car buying process. He was very patient with my situation. Offered countless advice and even though he was out of the office the day I decided to come by to look at the car the other gentleman there Gary was extremely helpful. Very trustworthy people. Didnt have a single issue with me having a mechanic look at the car. When it came to the buying process it took maybe 5 or 10 minutes. Very straightforward and transparent people. I just purchased my 3rd BMW from Randy Roberts and as always I am 100% satisfied. I live in California and I do not get to test drive the car until it is delivered to me but this doesnt worry me the least because Randy has always been upfront and honest. They even took my older car in on trade from California!!!! The Lone Star Truck unloaded my new car and then loaded my old car on the transport truck and the deal was done.My favorite part about buying a car from Lone Star is being able to call and getting Randy or his son Ken on the phone and getting their bottom line price and a shipping quote immediately. I am in Kentucky, found a car I am seriously interested in and just so happened to have someone in Plano, for the week, that could go look at it for me. When she arrives at the lot she is informed that the car is out as a loaner....instead of making arrangements for her to look at it, they just blew her off. She asked about financing and was told their finance person had just left, again no resolution to the problem was offered. They told her to come back Friday....she leaves TX by that time. I guess they arent very motivated to sell anything. I am very disappointed and will take my money elsewhere.

The whole process took about an hour from start to finish. I just received my new plates in the mail and all is good with the car and the transaction. Went here where they advertised the car for an amount. After inspecting the car, owner stated car now on eBay going for higher amount. The computer has glitched and web displayed amount isnt correct. Just stating the facts and hope other buyers have better luck.

They found us the exact used car we wanted in perfect condition, sold our existing vehicle at a great price at auction, and delivered the new car to our door without our ever leaving the house. The owner is personally involved and cares about the customer experience. LoneStar is the way to go if you want ease of execution and an extremely fair price.

Lone Star Cars made my life so easy while buying a car. I will be buying another vehicle from them soon. Im in the military, currently stationed in california. I never even test drove my car before I purchased it, and I was completely comfortable with that. They have great details on the cars, pictures, videos, and any questions I had they were more than happy to answer. They arranged my vehicle to be shipped to me straight to the base, I am extremely pleased with this business and I wouldnt want to do business with anyone else.

Dont believe the comments you read on here. They are mostly written by employees of the dealer or friends. These people advertise vehicles in excellent condition, but when you drive 180 miles to see it, its a piece of junk. They take pictures far enough away so that you cannot see all the damage. Too top it off, they want above retail value for these junk boxes.

In 2013 I bought a 2007 Jeep Wrangler 4 door from Lone Star Cars. The vehicle had multiple minor to moderately serious issues. There were multiple Jeep TSBs/ that had not been addressed. The gas tank overflowed when filling. There were software updates such as for the ECU that had not been installed. The exhaust manifold was cracked and leaking badly (I thought it was just loud because it was a Jeep). They had installed a budget boost lift kit and the steering wheel was significantly off center, causing traction control warning lights to go off as I was driving it home. I broke a shock and it turned out that they had installed the shock spacer backwards. The winch that was also presumably installed by Lone Star Cars had been built backwards, it is functional but the lever for engage/free spool functions the reverse of the label. They only had one spare key for the vehicle. I should have made an issue of this.Still, I think this is a decent dealership. No reason to distrust them more than other used car dealers. I ended up spending about $1000 bucks and 4-5 visits to Jeep Dealerships and independent mechanics to get all the issues taken care of. It wasnt a total lemon. But, there is no good reason to trust them either. Buyer beware!

I just advise doing your homework and making sure your look the vehicle over VERY well, if not having a mechanic look at it. I went for a VW Jetta TDI. The salesman was helpful, friendly but gave me a line about letting his mom drive the car around for a few days, so it had to be a good car. After driving it I looked at the inside sidewalls of the front tires and noticed a large gash in the sidewall and the shoulders of the tires were bald. It appeared that the tires had been rotated to hide a potential dangerous defect, and I told the salesman I didnt appreciate their letting me put my family in it for a test drive. I dont like being lied to and I walked away from the car. The salesman did offer to replace the tire, and he didnt try to pressure me into something else, but if they are hiding things or not checking the vehicles over as well as I can, I dont want anything to do with them.

I purchased a Ford Excursion. The vehicle was delivered to my hotel in Los Angeles as requested right on time. Everything was perfect except I noticed there was an issue with the CD player . I called Randy, and he said no Problem lll fix it, and he did.Three years later while visiting Vail Colorardo I looked at Ebay to consider a new vehicle. As it happened Lone Star Cars had a Mercedes GL 450 available . I called Randy who remembered me and we negotiated a deal. He sent a driver the next day to deliver my new Mercedes and picked up the trade vehicle to drive home. The car was fantastic.Now 2014, Im back in Vail and called Randy re any late model vehicles he may have available that I could trade . He did his home work and came back to me with a one and a half year old Mercedes Benz GL450. We spent a few phone calls on a suitable deal and then agreed .Randy offered to drive the new car 850 miles to deliver to me. From Dallas to vail Colorado.( and return of course in the traded vehicle) He set off for the long drive. As it happened we had some spare time so wedrove two hours to Denver to met with him and his lovely wife Jackie. We had a drink together and completed the paper work, it was easy and a pleasure.It was the first time I had met Randy, but I felt I knew him very well and for a long time.I will continue to deal with Lone Star Cars and Randy Roberts. He is a man of high integrity and a pleasure to to business with.I travel back to new Zealand in a few days and will store my car in Los Angeles.Its great to make new friends and also complete a fair Business deal for both parties.I look forward to my next visit to LA to drive my car again...A very very happy customer.Peter DrummondAucklandNew Zealand.
