Great Indian grocer in town. Reasonable price and great varieties. Nice and clean store. Friendly staff. Will definitely alway shop there
Gud place we get fresh veggies
Good collection of South Asian food items along with fresh foods and vegetables.
Its good we can find fresh veggies and all the groceries .
My go to grocery store always...Veggies are fresh most of the times and the prices are very reasonable...weekend is the best time to shop here since you get many weekend sale discounts..
Have all Indian food and required ingredients. Along with a dedicated staff to help. Following all the CDC guidelines to ensure the safety of the customer and staff. Thanks team.
Beware do not go to this place. I have been shopping with this place for a long time and what I have observed that they are ripping off easily 5-10 dollars in bumping up the price on the register. The cashiers are playing this dirty tricks by adding this extra dollars and when you catches it they complain about prices are incorrect in the system and will give you store credit for there mistake and forcing the customer to take store card. Literally cheating the customer big time. Today I caught them and she was begging me to let go and gave me the store credit for the errorneous prices she charged for the items. This is cheating literally. So avoid this place I would say unless you have spare money to give it to them getting fooled.
Decent Indian groceries. Not to expect much in cost.
Nice big Indian grocery store.
I had a horrible experience with the store manager wearing a turban. He is extremely rude, doesn’t understand English and is very arrogant. He has no people skills and doesn’t know how to talk to people. This business makes duplicate customer profiles so you never get your $20.00 back on 400 points. In addition, nothing is computerized and also they didn’t put the exclusions such as frozen, sale items or rice and flour doesn’t count towards the points. All the stuff seems to be duplicate and fake. I am never going to shop here again and I suggest no one else shops here either. I would suggest you all not to shop here as it’s not worth your time and effort.
The store manager, Punjabi, walks around without a mask. First time I informed the counter. Second time I told him directly. He says he doesnt belief in the mask and I told him that he needs to respect the customers. Today I walked in and he was going around without the and two of the employees has mask around the neck. The shop doesnt seem to bother about pandemic. He is very arrogant, rude and has no customer skills. I dont know how he is being employed. I walked out of the shop and dont plan to shop again there.
Good place for almost all Indian Grocery stuff.
Great place to buy rice and spices. They have a large selection of them
I tried their Sunday brunch it was a very good experience. Love their food very tasty very flavorful very nice cook and very economical will recommend to try their Sunday Brunch you guys will enjoy it .
Manager (who wears a turban- you will see him in the evenings) is ill mannered, uncourteous, ignorant and inconsiderate. I have never written a business review or criticized another business. We dont unnecessarily ruin another individuals livelihood. This particular stores manager needs some people skills. He has no business etiquette whats so ever. We have given over twenty years of business to Subzi Mandi including to the store in Garland. We are also business people in Collin County and we put people first. We will not walk to this store ever again. Also, will inform our friends and relatives of the incident. We all need each other in businesses. Never too late for you learn Subzi Mandi!
The fresh made chapatis are good. Prices are a bit higher than other Indian stores. They looted customers during COVID from March- May 2020. Increased prices bd got unknown product names. They advertised point system on their grocery card but pulled off the points during COVID. They lied that they will upload the points if we retained receipts. But upon taking the receipts they refused to enter them on grounds of shopping done during COVID. Staff is good and just following directions. However, management needs to be customer friendly.
Super big selection, neat and clean. Vegetables are fresh n better quality then Patel or India Bazaar. Owner is humble and nice and so is staff. By far best protection during covid days compared to any other store around
A nice place for Indian grocery wide variety of rice, grains and vegetables. No meat items or fish available. Doesnt have much stuff for keralites. Have a rewards program but not so sure what it really does.
Fresh vegetables and fruits.
Fresh vegetables & good price.
Nice place.
No return policy not good.1 time I got someone else vegetable last year which I noted after 3days as mother put all vegetables in refrigerator. They just said..ok when I went after 1, 2 week.....we will see n call....thy never called
EXCELLENT VARIETYGOOD SERVICEHELPFUL EMPLOYEES.
Beware of expired products! We have encountered this with multiple products at this store. If the mfg date is erased then be assured that it is expired already. They do that with frozen items too, look for chipped corners that appear like weathered edges from the moisture inside but we were bewildered to notice that it was actually them disfiguring the box where expiry date was marked. With current no returns policy and lack of receipt there was nothing possible here... stay away from this store if possible
The way they maintain during COVID-19 is really good. Separate entry and exit and billing counters totally in shield. I feel its more safer than other groceries store. They have spacious lines and several varieties for any product.
My favorite Indian grocery store, no one in dallas has more varieties then Subzi Mandi and staff is helpful too.
I bought this cauliflower from here. See what I found in it...blue worm...there were 2 in this and did not go further with this cauliflower...please supply good produce to your customers...Very Disappointed...please friends make sure you see and wash your vegetables properly before giving them to your children...
You find fresh veggies Compared to patel and Indian bazaar in plano
I brought 8 packets of frozen “Anand” coconut packets and all were bad and foul smelling.Tried to return and the staff said unable to do it as it’s frozen item. Please don’t ever buy this product !!!!!
Good place for all your asian grocery needs. Fresh produce available all round the week.
Good place to go in for Indian grocery
Did not have what i was looking for .... sindhi Biryaanii and fish Biryaanii masala ....
Large grocery store with lots of variety for indian provisions. The chaat house is closed though.
Clean and spacious. Good collection of Indian food and vegetables.
Found all variety of indian veggies and were very fresh
Lots of options for indian food ingredients.
Nice and helpful staff. Good stock.
Great shop for Indian groceries but they can do a better job at cleaning the isles
It is very obvious why they only carry Nanak brand sweets........
Best place for Indian Groceries n Vegetables.Prices are reasonable compared to Patel brothers. More varieties of grocery options available.
Good in quality
Organized stocking, you will find most of all desi stuff, have a place to dine out and is reasonable compared to other desi stores
Great place, great collection.. good staff
Wish to give rating 0 if I could. Reason because I bought a sweet box(jilebi) here and realized after going home that the date of expiry was striked off with a marker and I returned to store to check is that only with 1 packet, but all of them were same which means they are selling the products with out mentioning any expiry on it and when I asked the a Punjabi guy who I suppose was a Manager was so rude in his answer and said that they sell a lot of them which has no logic in his argument and he did not allow me to return or exchange it so I finally had to trash it.city should not allow stores like this who are trying to play games with customers health by selling the products by erasing/ striking off the expiry dates on it.
Well stocked ...
Rude and zero customer service. While they have great variety, watch out for expired merchandise! I bought some frozen croquettes (made with chicken) that were expired by 4 months. I realized it when I cooked them and they smelled awful and were inedible. I threw them out of course. Being too late to go back that night, I went back the next day. The customer service desk was empty and someone redirected me to the cashiers. When my turn came, I explained it and they were not very convinced or nice about returning, they wanted me to exchange it for other merchandise and not give me my money back. I brought the empty box (since I threw the content after cooking, it was really terrible), and they question where the contents were. I got dirty looks and was thiiis close of not being reimbursed, but was at the end. $6.50. It was not for the money but for the principle. Any other supermarket would have apologized (and they have in the past when returning). Its like they dont want customers back. It was better under the Taj management...
Good for wholesale purchases
I am happy with the customer service but I was disappointed that the Frozen Vegetables looked like they were thawed and refrozen . I took them back and they gave me a credit to make any other purchase, which was nice. I feel that the frozen food should be only sold if not thawed and refrozen. Public health hazard.
Been several times. The chickpeas tasted like plastic, as if they had been left in the open in a warehouse, and management refused to let us return or exchange the product. We have also bought products only to discover THE EXPIRATION DATE SCRATCHED OFF. They have NO concern for their customers and we will not be returning again.
Better than other Indian Stores.
Great place to buy fresh veggies. No meat though. Also fresh fruits are available. They have two locations in Plano.
Friendly staff .good quality of products
Under new management with considerable selection of basmati and other rice varieties. Appears to be more inclined towards offloading wholesale purchases rather than offering granularity in the selections for the discerning customers. For example, unlike most other even smaller size stores, there is considerable variety in package spices or individual components. Unfortunately this store did not provide such options. The manager was extremely unhelpful when I inquired about this lapse.
Bought yellow Kurkure on Jan 4 2020 from big box located near where they keep rice and all. after open the packet it feels soggy and unfreash taste. I was looking for a mfg date and couldnt find it, they put Ingredients sticker on it. i peeled the sticker and found mfg dt was sometime in 2018. generally this chips/ namkeen shellife is 6 months. watchout before buying the dates and all..
Indian Grocery store that sells a variety of vegetables and fruits and whole grains and other ethnic groceriesStore also has Food connor and hair salon,Food (Taj Chat house offers various vegetarian offerings ( I have had there Dosa And it was good)The hair salon you may want to check the price before you get your hair cut.I have found the published prices to be differentThen what they tell you when you ask but if you say it says that much out side on the board then they will reduce it
Went into the store expecting to buy curry chaat masala, however. employee named maher sanjay gupta kaky called me bhenchode. as american born indian boy i did not know meaning of this word so i got home and i search it up on bing and bing say it bad word,. so i went to temple and ask krishna to help me fight maher. bad experience.
👌
Indian groceries
Lots of nice veggies. Big, clean store. Has a little shop in the back where you can get some snacks (Chaat, chai).
Love the Taj chat here. Chole bature and coffee is my favorite.
Wide selection of groceries and veggies to suit the finicky Indian taste. A good restaurant thrown in. What more does one want.
Huge selection of Indian grocery. And awesome Chaat and Indian fast food place inside.
Extremely poor quality of products. Especially the packed ones!
Good place to shop cheaper than india bazar or patel brother here you can buy fresh vegetables
I have been visiting this place since 2 years now .. it gives you a feel of North India as you enter the store ... u get all the things needed for a North Indian household .. they also give reward points... they have a food court inside which has quite a North Indian tasting chaat and pani puri... they also have shop which where they sell Indian clothes and jewellery !!
I would give 0 rating to this, the management are the worst guys I have ever seen No respect at all.on top of that the stuff I got from them urad dal is full of insects and the curd which I opened immediately after getting home is with fungus the exp date is nov 20th how come you are so irresponsible!!!!!!I hate this store and hate the management
Lot of varieties in indian pulses and spices
Very good environment and stock of all deshi foods
So far the best desi grocery stor which i have seen in 4 yrs. Big enough and clean and well managed. Vegetables are fresh always and have lot of choices for other items like rice, flour and lentils. Big lot for indian utensils and utensils are available in big sizes as well. I noticed different kids of disposeables as well. They have nice stock for ganesha idols and for other gods as well. A must try store
Good place for Indian groceries with lots of variety. Also good for a quick bite. Tried couple of items in their restaurant (aalo paratha, muli paratha, mutter paneer). Everything was piping hot with the right level of spices and not unnecessarily oily.
Pluses and rice are good here
Billing takes time other than that it is ok
All indian groceries, food items and produce available here . They have a small resturaunt, tailor and beauty salon attached to it .
Reasonably priced items for Desis. Lot of Indians, Pakistanis and Bangladeshis dhop from here their daily needs items
The grocery store has almost everything you would want from India. They also sell fresh rotis. My favourite part about this store is the veg cafe inside. They have a bunch of chaat and south indian items. My favourites are Dosa and Taj combo thali. You get unlimited sambhar and chutneys with dosa and idli. So worth it.
Indian Grocery place
Been visiting this place for many years after recent change in ownership I would love to give 0 stars. Had a very bad experience, would never ever trust them. I would suggest everyone to cross check your billing. Found 3 wrong transactions in last few visits, when you confront you are being treated bad by the manager.
Inside there is a restaurant and we enjoyed the different kinds of dosas, I tried paneer dosa. Just I didnt like they use everything disposable so sad :(
Big Indian grocery store. Fresh vegetables. Staff is friendly.
The market wonderfull the staff on the counter is rude i went this place mistakenly i thought its in Richardson one the same name market they had bad behavior.
Good
Veggies are not always good, sometimes really bad, but the chapati/rotis are good. Staff is friendly and helping.
Being an Indian, this place is my first choice among other Indian stores, I never get disappointed with items I visit for. Things are quite reasonable here.
Best prices on herbs like mint, dill and cilantro
Affordable place for desi groceries, fresh vegetables, home made fresh roties. Anything that you cant find in other local groceries store, you can find it here.
Beteer than taj grocers
One of the best shopping mal
Big store, you will get all in one place
Most South Indian Masala brands available.
This place needs a lot of improvement in inventory and supply chain to regain its lost glory.
Great Variety of Products 👍 and Reasonable prices, Highly Recommended
Trash
Its too dirty.. even the staffs are so rude
