Id give this store a 3.5. Pros: Stocks all the Indian grocery essentials and has better hours of operation than other stores in the Plano area. Con: Id prefer shopping in a clean store, but I think Indian store and clean are oxymorons.

Hard to find prices of things, one time got help finding something but next time not, like many have posted, prices are not posted or in the wrong place. Check out slow like others have posted as well. Things a little better after a few months, they have more people working now to help you find things. Also was super busy on a Saturday morning.

I love getting all my legumes and grains in bulk or regular sizes here. Variety of herbs n spices to use in cooking. Love that they have a selection of aryuvedic supplements,herbs, hair and body products.

They keep many items which are about to expire, in the front row of the shelf. Make sure you check the manufacturing date or expiry date before adding to your cart. I bought a Manna ethnic Millet pack and shocked to see lot of tiny live bugs inside the pack.12/16 update, Found another two items from my last purchase were missing the manufacturing / expiry date. Grand sweets thokku manufactured date sticker is peeled off. Some Laxmi brand (not the usual laxmi brand) ginger paste bottles expiry date is erased. When reported no proper explanations from the staff.

Restroom does not have soap/ hand sanitizer. This is minimum requirement to maintain public health. Management must maintain this at good level all the time. I always have to ask the staffs at their counter for hand sanitizer after using restroom.It’s questionable.Thanks.

Smaller Indian grocery store that packs a punch. They have a great selection of fresh produce, dairy products, flours, rice, packaged goods, and every spice you can probably imagine. The store is somewhat tight to navigate, but they keep it tidy and well-stocked.

Good experience. Almost similar to that of Patel Brothers. The brands are somewhat different than Patels. Veggies are better in Patels. And Patels has more walking space and also more organized. India bazaar is on the same line but probably would take some more years to reach there.

Decent East Indian grocery, slightly disorganized but you get everything desi

Hit or miss. Prices get marked up, frozen stock is either very old or mostly delayed in restocking. Veggies are fresh only few days a week. Overall a decent place depending on what day of the week you go.

Really love the massive variety of Indian groceries. There are so many amazing recipes and ingredients here that you wouldnt be able to try them all unless you ate nothing but Indian food for the rest of your life.

Love all the spices and cookware. Store well stock. But hard to get help finding a special item.

I bought a pack of noodles from the store and after bringing it home saw the pack was expired. The products in the store need to be checked and expired products should be discarded. Cannot trust them.

I think they are doing a good job in keeping the space clean and items organized even though the customers does the opposite :)

Staff are good. May not big store when compared to other india bazaar and may not be new looking too - but has good inventory and located in a good place nearby to all other needed retail and highway . Less counters than other india bazaars - which says about incoming crowd which may be less than other india bazaars. I find it ok and sufficient to come and finish Indian grocery shopping

Nice place to grab India grocery. You can find very known brands if you are from India. I really like this place.

The location is very convenient and the store has lots of choices of Indian food. The store could have been a little bigger and more spacious. Its very tight to shop around the narrow spaces between the shelves.

The only shop you need for all things Indian. I just loved their selection of products. The sheer number of options and variety for the products is awesome.

India Bazaar have provided one of the best services in this pandemic situation. The employees are very keen in picking up the best groceries and providing all services to customers. We feel safe and well treated during the curbside pick up. All the employees maintain safe distance and this increases our confidence to shop there more. They are very prompt in providing details of the stock in place and helping with every questions. Lucky to have this store with great service in the neighborhood.

This is my genuine feedback.. and India Bazaar team should take it as an Oppertunity for improvement..1. you will not found price label in there every racks. It’s messed up situation. Items may have been kept on racks with some other items price tag. You will found it difficult to understand price of any items until unless you bill it.2. Small space, good number of people inside. No directives, safe distancing guidelines or any efforts from shop keeper on its floor.3. Apple Pay will not work here although they displayed Apple Pay supported.4. Always check your bills before leaving . I saw mistakes in there Billings.Overall I will say very much poor experience and will not like to visit there again. If they improved then perhaps will consider shopping there again.

Very bad experience with the cashiers over there two lady behind counter they were so rude to us and one of lady costumer too..They made me pay for a thing which was there fault made us feel so cheap.. POOR management..very disappointed

Terrible reward program since they have changed it and that too over night. They didnt allow us to redeem our previous points that we accumulated 8-10 months before the new policy. Difficult to communicate with their staff. I would never recommend this store.

Mostly will find the brands that belongs to India Bazar or Grain Market. Will not have the same brands consistent apart from the two mentioned.

I wish I can give it 0 stars. They charge 5 dollars for pickup but never give the right items. They changed their format overnight and I can’t even see my order . They just gave whatever they wanted to give and not what I asked for. Vegetables were old and yucky. Don’t these ppl have any quality check?

I love India bazaar, they always have great produce, great prices, and the kindest customer service! They have so many wonderful items, and the store is always tidy. They also offer curbside pick up and have sanitizer wipes for the carts.

Best price, service and product among Indian stores so far I ve found in USA.Super helpful staff especially when it comes to translating local names of rare indian ethnic commodities,..but no return for purchased goods across IndiaBazzar.They carry lot of stuffs inside but the space is less, is a matter of concern only due to covid now.

Customer service is always very very poor, no greetings, no smiles, most of the time not even a Thank you for even a large order of $100 plus, product knowledge of the workers is pitiful, i asked 3 employees about Marshmallows and they looked at me as if i had multiple heads, they did not even know what a marshmallow MEANS or what its for.Always a disappointing experience.I gave them 3 stars just because i am feeling generous today😁😁

Perfect place to find all indian grocery items you need. Staff is also really helpful, especially the cashiers. This location is well organized and it makes it easier for you to find what you need.

Had a good experience today 10/02/2020 New young cashiers are way faster than aunties working there. No long lines and fast check out. Felt so good didn expected fast service but felt better and relaxed didn had to wait.

The aunty at the cash register was very rude with the customers kept repeating why u bring kids with u ? Is there any rule at india bazaar that we cant bring our kids with us ? This was my first time visiting will definitely not come back . Very slow cashier she was !!! Before us she kept talking to another customer for 5 to 10 mins not realizing there was line back there. Overall the store was well stocked but due to poor and worst customer service not coming back !!!!

Tried India Bazaar restaurant, weve tried almost every famous desi fast food restaurant, BUT they have the best pani puri(gol Gappay) and chaat.

I have been coming to this location since they opened about 18 years ago, I have seen them expand from this one location to multiple ones that now have but in doing so they seem to have neglected basic customer serviceI am not finding price tags on any items that I have to purchase and this is in multiple occasions. Choices are limited compared to other stores and prices are higher as well. Packets / boxes are often scattered around and sometimes even half opened. There is always some excuse when this is pointed out to customer service. I would choose to go to other stores now.

They ring items twice. Be careful with them. This has happened multiple times with me. First, I thought that it was an accident. It is a common practice there to ring items twice or two items as three items. Bunch of crook cashiers

India Bazaar Supermarket - Bugs in LentilsI bought 3-4 different kind of lentils from India Bazaar, Spring Creek on Friday 3/13. Address: 832 W. Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano, TX 75023Yesterday l was cleaning one of the lentils bag and found a live pantry beetles (also called weevils or ghuns) in the bag.We took it back to India Bazaar and showed the beetles to the cashier and told her we wanted to return all the lentils. She told us that there is no returns or any refunds even though the receipt says returns and exchange within 21 days. We asked to see the store manager who was also not interested of our concerns and she walked backed to her office without helping us. As they were not helpful we left all the lentils at their shop. My only hope is that they don’t restock. We have informed the health department.Please be careful when you buy from India Bazaar. We will never shop at this chain of grocery again.Update: 3/16/2020. l have reported them to Texas Dept of State Health Services.

Very slow check out. Long line of customers and only one cashier. She kept calling for more help from her co- workers but no one came to help her.

I frequent India Bazaar at this location because it is one of the close ones to where I live but more so because of the store timings - they close at 11 so on a weekday if I want to, I can always stop by for a late night shopping run. Even at that time, the staff is friendly and welcoming.I come here mainly for groceries and the store has had a good variety of Indian products. Ive never had to look elsewhere for something I need. Produce has been always fresh the times Ive visited and the store overall is well stocked.Would definitely recommend this store!

I got an expired noodle and expired biscuits and I returned them. I also requested them to replace so that people wouldn’t buy expired goods. This made me to choose other stores. After 3 months I went yesterday and I still see the expired noodles there. Bye bye India bazar.

No COVID protectionCashiers ask you to leave onion bags, rice, flour etc in cart and ring you up for bigger bags. E.g: 10 lbs bag cart, but charged for 20 lbs bag. This is the their slick trick to overcharge you.Ring same items multiple times. E.g: 2 packs of Cookies and Frozen Food, but when I checked receipt, they charged for 3 packs of such items when checked receipt. It did not look like mistake.When I called them after reaching home, no one picked the phone.

Never been to India, but this place for a grocery store, makes me feel I was transported to a market in Mumbai!

0 Covid protection.No sanitizers.They do sell masks, but in a big store with enough people in queues, I wouldn’t feel safer going there especially since cases are at an all time high.Otherwise it’s not bad with products, average/sub-par in terms of service.

I really love going here for all my Indian shopping. They have all sorts of ingredients from different states of India. They have variety of flours, grains, lentils, oils, spices (I use their brand and it’s really good and lot cheaper than the regular ones), snacks.Their frozen food selection is vast too.Their produce section is quite good, they have offers on few veggies each day so you may wanna look at that too!

Bad experience with this store when ordered for curbside pick up . They will not respond you properly and will take 2 days along with uncertainty. If you have thought for pick up, go for other store definitely. And behaviors of the store operator was very rude .

Good items the only complaint was that some things were too expensive and the bathroom had dish soap instead of hand soap.

Today I purchased 2 pkts kurkure and when I opened, smell was not good as well taste. When I try to saw the MFD date below the paper, B. No and MFD date both are clear. Pls suggest what should I do with expired items.

They’re selling dead curry leaf plants! Ours died the very next day. When we called to ask for an exchange they simply said no and hung up. Scammers! Worst customer service! They actually don’t know what customer is and don’t even care.

Indian Bazaar Plano store early-opening hours perfectly fit schedule if you are an early morning shopper in a hurry.I would like store manager to see to it that prices of (not some) but all items be placed & made visible on the store shelves.Other than that, store spacious floor-space was inviting, available variety of organic & non-organic foods was welcoming, pricing of perishable items seemed fair, seven (7) of the eight (8) cash registers were open including Customer Service section.Also, I noticed check-out line moved swiftly as my attending cashier greeted me with a very genuine cordially friendly smile.After loading my groceries into the trunk of my car, I had to use the restroom before driving off... I was return back to Dallas.The ladies restroom smelled clean, but was without paper towel for drying washed hands.Visiting store for the very first time... I must admit shopping experience was great & very much enjoyable.Recommend Indian Bazaar Plano. Sure, will be back, again!!!

Great choices of Indian grocery and stuff. Better than Patel Brothers which is way expensive in some of the things. They even have more choices than other stores. Vegetables are fresh. Customer service is good. You will hear your favorite Hindi music over there. They also have their chat corner in this branch where you can enjoy your chai-nashta time.

India Bazar is a good place to find veggies. Theres a lot of selection. Most of them are fresh. We like shopping here when making Indian dishes. The veggies are not always cheaper than other stores. But you can get in season items pretty cheap here. We also buy curry powders and other baked goods also. Overall good place if you want variety vegetables.

Check expiry before you buy because lot of stuff not have date of expiration.

This is my go to store when I need Indian style food ingredients, spices, etc. Store has a wide selection of spices, deserts, curry mixes, assorted Hindu religious iconography, utensils, and some natural medicinal and sundry items. Their produce section isnt the greatest, but overall, I think the rest of the store is pretty good.

Smaller India bazaar the other stores. Does not have any sort of food area and it’s slightly crowded. It is only good if you forgot to get something at a different store. I wouldn’t recommend doing your entire grocery shopping here

I love the variety, prices, goods, and customer service. Its a very busy store but they are always making sure you are checked out in a timely manner.

Not much of customer service. They only selling their products . Prices are for the most part very different as displayed like today the price of aashirvaad multi grain Atta 10 lbs was 5.99 but they charged 8.99.I protested but was told the prices have changed due to the epidemic. I told them you cannot do this in USA you have to charge same pice as posted. No compromise. I paid and left I had no time to discuss as this would do any good. Because it is a DAMM Desi store !

Good place if you are looking for Indian vegetables, spices and condiments. Sign up for their rewards if you plan to do grocery regularly.Basmati Rice is however available at non Indian branded stores at cheaper rates.Returns can be a hassle (Dont take it back because you dont like it, youll be disappointed) especially if the staff decide to say they are not convinced that the item you are returning had a problem before you bought it.Be wary of nutritional info glued on to items covering the actual nutritional info printed on the cover.P.S.Everything that shows trans fat as 0 may not be true.

Fresh Asian vegetables and spices. I love thier vegetables, reasonable price. They dont sell fish or meat. I would like to see fish items added in the store.

I recently visited India Bazaar in Plano Texas and I was pleasantly surprised by the cashier named Munaza. What a wonderful, helpful person she is. She is polite and she helped me locate a lot of things that I needed. I also noticed that she treated the elderly gentleman ahead of me with great respect. He took his time paying because of arthritis in his hands, but she was very patient. India bazaar should have more employees like her who make customer experience memorable. In my opinion she should get a raise

Nice place very crowded

Horrible customer service. I purchased lentils here and noticed they were expired when I got home. I went back to exchange the next day but was told they’ve never accepted returns or exchanges. I’ve exchanged things in the past so not sure when that policy started but mind boggling that they wouldn’t even exchange EXPIRED goods. Would give no stars if I could.
