This place is definitely small with a limited selection. If youre going there for groceries I would recommend elsewhere. Very limited selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. Unless youre going to buy something unique that only this place offers you might be better off at a different market.

They always have very old stock. We got expired stock on 5 separate instances. Rice was more than a year past due date and they had stuck another date over the old sticker. The frozen samosas turned out rotten inside.. so bad that it was green. The green was definitely not the mint or chili sauce. Just plain old rotten stuff. I can go on and on. I don’t know why I didn’t stop going there earlier.

Good spot for variety of dishes and halal meat. They have new varieties of fishes in meat section.

Cashier was awesome! Super friendly, & kind. Ill be returning for the food but enjoyed the excellent service too!

Under new management Now, all the products I have purchased has been great. Meet selection are great and the butcher cuts the meat in front of you as per your direction. Not sure with all the negative comments but from personal experience my family and I enjoy shopping at this location.I suggests, giving this store an opportunity and seeing it for yourself.

The meat here is really bad. When we ask, if it is fresh- he said it is freshly cut on the same day. I took two packets home, one is ok’ish, when I opened the second packet, it smelt bad. It happened twice this month- once with liver( my husband dint know it is bad unless he cooked and it tasted bad), today with goat meat. We returned it to store since it is not completely opened. But that is not what it should be!! I feel, they are changing stickers everyday and selling the rotten meat. I didn’t attach any pictures because the meat looked good externally. Please open the packets in the store, smell it and then get it.

This review is completely to the meat they sell. Its the best goat I can get. Its fresh but you cant store it more than 2-3 days unless you throw in the freezer but free fresher is better. I go to this place all the time only for meat and I never picked groceries from here so I dont know much about it. Staff are friendly and greets all the time with a bright smile. Cheers.

I bought grated frozen coconut from this shop recently and when I opened the bag it smelled bad. Upon checking the expiry date, it expired 6 months back. Good that I was refunded for my purchase but really disappointed that expired items are in shelf for sale. Management should look into this

I wish I would have read the reviews before. They sell rotten meat may be by changing dates on stickers. Bought chicken breast, packed on the same date I purchased, got home and I cooked it. It was hard and tasted spoilt and smelled different. I had guests at home and spent lot of time cooking. Everything is waste.

Meat is very bad here. Please do not buy the meat. The owner do not have any sense to talk. I called him to complain that the meat is bad, but he is yelling at me and ended up saying COMPLAINT TO HEALTH DEPARTMENT (in a harsh way)Swadeshi Indian grocery and halal meat is good at Irving and the employees in Irving branch are deserved and respectful (not like in Plano branch).Please do not purchase anything here and dont expect GOOD SERVICE here.I am going to complaint to health department and I will also complaint this issue to other departments as I want to sue him.SELLING FAKE MEAT is illegal and he has to be punished for this.I am going to report it early in the morning.

Go for good meat and milk..else if you have any emergency needs then go here. Dont go here for regular vegetables or groceries.. you wont find much.. mostly old stock and dried vegetables..

The quality of meat is being going down here at this location. I got the meat on last Saturday which 01/11/2020 (which is dated the same day) and best buy date 01/15/2020 which I opened it on 01/12/2020 it smelled really bad. When I called the store and said the same, the guy who works at the store responds saying you can come here on Monday or Thursday to talk to the owner. When I asked should I keep the spoiled meet which smells bad at home, he was like yes. Bind Blowing answer. This is the first time happened to me from last 3 years but I did not like the customer service based on the situation.

These people are cheering the customers. They are selling expired products without hesitation.they sell products without bill.It’s my mistake that I don’t checked in the shop. When I came home we found that it’s expired. I went to the shop and asked. They don’t even apologize.He received the product back and went find another non expired product. But there are so many expired, searched for few and gave me new one. I asked to speak to owner and compline. But the the worker letologic telling me owner is out of country.Please be aware and don’t buy anything from here. Now I don’t even believe their meat also.

I couldnt believe the taste & quality of Goat meat here. Me being a big fan of Goat meat, I had almost stopped eating goat meat because of months frozen Australian goat or so called Goat which has everything but has does not taste like Goat.So, I went and ask how these Goat meats are brought, prepared and packed? So, they r bought directly from their crafted farm, made sure each slice of meat is fat free & fresh. If u happen to go & see u will find the difference. Anyways coming to the main thing TASTE. Simply awesome. Generally all Goats meat taste good. But this one was so good and fresh that I could literally sprinkle some salt, pepper, spice it up and bake it very a short period of time.I dont mind paying a decent price if given quality. Specially when I am not eating much of red meat these days.

This store is charging VERY HIGH PRICES compared to similar products sold in Indian groceries stores I have been to here.My spouse bought a bag of wheat flour and curd amongst other products and realized after stepping out of the store that the price charged for wheat flour and curd was not correct as the same bag of wheat flour and curd cost comparatively was much lower at other grocery stores like Patel brothers and Taj Grocers that we normally visit.She went inside the store to return it but the owner DENIED citing that the store has No Return/No Exchange policy.I was EXTREMELY shocked after hearing this!!!It would not even have been more than 10 minutes when she stepped out and went inside to return this UNOPENED bag of wheat flour and curd but the owner didnt accept it!!! Needless to say,this would be the first and LAST time that we will be giving business to this store.After seeing similar review about such experience on google and yelp,I have no doubt that we indeed committed a HUGE mistake by giving this store our business.Sadly for the owner,they have lost a future customer who was planning to relocate nearby and give this store our business but I cant WASTE my hard earned money on same products that we can buy elsewhere for LOW PRICES!!!

I bought the chicken and the quality was really good. I bought as they mentioned it Halal but I didnt see any sign or certificate in the product. I just trust them. I was looking for the other products but a lot of them expired in 2016. So far I know its not illegal to keep expired date food. Nowadays, USA want to use Best Before word instead of Expire to save food from wastage.

Good place to buy indian groceries, veggies, masala items and foodies. Mostly you will get every Indian grocery items here and you can also buy chicken, goat, fish, shrimp etc. Nice place at Irving to buy indian spices, sweets and veggies and ready to serve snacks. They have indian restaurant behind the grocery store and chat section like pani puri, bhel puri etc. as well mostly for indian cuisine. Worth trying once during your visit to buy Indian groceries and recommend to visit this store on Saturday to buy fresh veggies and meat.

I bought chicken on dec 7th 2019 night. It was smelling very bad and I called him on 8th morning. The guy who works there is very arrogant on the call and he says that talk to the owner. The worst store in town. Prices are hiked triple and when asked, the owner said it is just a convenient store. And, no return policy for unopened items. Rude attitude. It is funny to see the owner himself(or herself) giving best rating. Self rating....funny. I dont think they will be in this business for so long.

No price tags on many items, despite complaining nothing has changed. The items are at least priced twice the price any other store would charge. This store is only good for chicken/mutton. Same swadeshi in Irving was way better

I recently moved to Texas. I tried all the meat shop around this area but I am not satisfy with their meat. One of friend recommended this place to me and I found that this store sell fresh meat by the taste we can know the meat is really tenderboth chicken and goat the grocery is also good for pick upbasic stuff.

Ordered Spl vijayawada chicken biryani.Biryani was not hot, Gravy smell spoiled and very poor and worst customer service. The lady on the front was looking terrible and expression less she can’t even speak and understand English.

Heavily overpriced place, Yesterday I bought a maggie packet which was expired. I went back to the store and returned it, the store manger simply returned it with out even acting surprised that its expired. He even went ahead and dropped the maggi packet back to its original place which was very rude. I will be send an email to plano food inspection department for this very soon.
