Ive been to the Plano store several times, it may be said that i spend too much money there :)I take all of my tire changes there and they do a great job, everyone is super helpful and i value their opinions on gear.They are instrumental in helping me decide on what works best for me.I appreciate that they all ride and know what they are talking about.Id like to give a special shout out to Dean and Chris as they both have always gone out of their way to help, I also like that they remember you when you come in and they will ask how you like something, or how something has been working for you.Thanks!

I am a big man and was looking all over for a riding jacket just a leather jacket that fits. Should have started here. Got a proper riding jacket that fits me surprisingly. Very happy with it!

Josh was a great help when I went in to buy a summer mesh jacket. He was patient with me wanting to try on about 5 or so different jackets. They had some great jackets available, I just wish the manufacturers had more color options available.

I walked in and was immediately greeted and asked if I needed help. I said I was looking for some Off Road boots and gloves and after finding the right sizes, I was on my way out the door. All less that 10 minutes total.

First time shopping there my experience was great customer service was awesome a fella named DEAN helped me out on a battery for my R1 he was very helpful and knowledgeable I would definitely recomend this place👍🏼

I havent ridden in a few years so I went to this location to get new gear. My helmet was severely over due for a replacement and my girlfriend wanted to start riding with me. The staff were extremely helpful without crowding us but made themselves available whenever we had a question. I wish I could remember the name of the person that helped us with our helmets, he was fantastic and so patient. I appreciated how honest he was in showing us gear, never pressuring for an upsale, but also was clear on quality of the products. One of the helmets that we decided on wasnt in stock so they ordered it and it was delivered to the store in a week. They made sure fitment was correct before I walked out of the store and were prepared for a refund if it didnt fit. They are doing a fantastic job! If youre looking for new gear this is my number one suggestion! Also, veterans and military service members, dont forget to ask for your discount!

Ive used this store for multiple purchases. I bought a tire online this time. I took it to Cycle Gear to have it changed out. Not only did they change it out quickly, they also realized I purchased it from a sister company and volunteered a slight discount and offered their standard warranty for their tires. I recommend the Plano, TX location for all purchases.

Every time I go in here the guys make me feel right at home.They clearly all know their stuff, and thats whats so dangerous! They arent pushy salesmen, they ride bikes too. You can hear it in their voice with how much enthusiasm they show.They know most everything there is to know about the items in store, and want you to know all you can as well. Theres no up selling. Tell them what you need and theyll help you find it.Specifically recently I went in to buy 2 helmets as Christmas gifts. Both had to be shipped to store (no cost to me) from across the state and Gonzo and the other associates helped me through every step of the process enthusiastically, and made sure I was well taken care of.Coming here for all my future motorcycle-related purchases, hands down.

Anytime I walk into this Cycle Gear (only one I have been in) I get the feeling of a very chill place. The employees are not only knowledgeable, but give you the room to curiously wander while also letting you know theyre there just in case you need anything. Its a very good balance. Finding exactly what you need is a breeze. Also they support military with 20% off in store.

They get all 5 stars even though they couldnt figure out (or find?) spark plugs for my Softtail. Chris helped me get all other parts and the Spoke-wheel tire/tube mounting was fast and seamless. Prices were on point - could have saved $6 online but I would rather see Chris! Dont let the commercial storefront mislead you... it is all top notch cycle shop on the inside. Shout out to Wylie Tire Shop for the recommendation.

Iwish I could rate zero star. There were only 4 customers getting line for checking out. We were the first one in the line but nobody helped us checking. 2 staffs were helping those two customers while we has been waiting in 15 minutes. We saw one customer left due to slow service. We never come here to buy anything unless the service improved.

Dont use this location! Not trustworthy.I was the 1st person at the store at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday to request a new motorcycle tire installation and balance.The boy at the counter said the job would not be done till the end of the day. A 7 hour wait? Unacceptable.It should not take more than 15 minutes to install a new tire and balance it, since this location has the proper equipment/tools. I doubt that there were 25+ tires waiting to be installed prior to 11AM today.I did not mind waiting a few hours, but to wait more than 6 hours was unacceptable.We will not purchase product or services from Cycle gear any longer.

Nice place and good staff

I waited 45 minutes for the single person who was working to help me, then it was 1 minute at a time while he kept stopping helping me to help others. He talked me into buying a $500 helmet that ended up not fitting and being the worst possible choice. It was my first helmet and I knew nothing so it was easy to sell me junk. I tried calling the manager across the next week but he’s never in. I will never go back there. What a rip off and scam.

This is where to get your gear. You can visit the store in Plano which has a HUGE variety of MC EVERTHING. Or shop online and have iot either shipped to the house or the store. I recently bought some dirt boot that only took a day and a new Shinko ( 005 which I really am beginning to dig!) for the front of my RC8 shipped in a day and they even can mount and balance there at the PLano location. My go to place for all things MC.

I passed my motorcycle test yesterday, and Im picking up my motorcycle tomorrow, so I was here today, and Nathan was assisting me.I know Cycle Gear has lots of stuff online that no store would have, but I needed stuff today, and I ended up with a $100 high visibility helmet, a $50 chain with lock, chain lube, a flat repair kit, and reflective tape, so their inventory also worked for me. They were friendly, helpful, didnt try to upsell, and they had everything I know Ill need tomorrow.Highly recommended.Updated: I went back to get a brake lock and chain cleaner on a Sunday. They were pretty busy, so if you need handholding like I did on my first visit, weekdays probably work better, but since I knew where everything I needed was from my first visit, it was a breeze. Still highly recommended.

Very good selection of maintenance goodies like motor oil, brake fluid, air filters, oil filters, and batteries. This is a great place to have tires mounted, both for dirt bikes as well as street bikes.

Definitely my go-to motorcycle shop. Danny is one of the most knowledgeable people there, and he always treats his customers right.

Went into the store looking to purchase at least 1 of the 4 items remaining on my wish list and was immediately greeted with a smile! When I was inquiring on the items I wished to purchase, the staff was very helpful and informative. I was never pushed into a sale, and left the store more informed about the items I wished to purchase for a future visit. This was by far the best shopping experience I have ever encountered and I would highly recommend anyone to visit.

This location is awesome. The employees are knowledgeable and can point you in the right direction and help you with fitment. If its not in the store they can order it in.Physical locations have the same prices as the online store (they have 130 locations).If you check on their website, like the other big gear company, they have video reviews of almost every product they sell.

The place is decent. But Nathan is an absolute jerk! The other people that work there are so nice. Always wanting to help. But then Nathan is never willing to go the extra mile. Closed at 8 one night. I walked up to Nathan one night with the door locked. It was 7:52 and Nathan wouldnt let us in. He doesnt ever want give us a deal either. But when the REAL manager is there (Jim) he is always willing to. Now every time we come in the store he follows me around like I am going to steel something. Used to love this place now I simply feel uncomfortable to walk in the door when he is there.
