Terrible customer service. I rented a viola for my daughter from this location. We never got instructions of where/when do we drop off for maintenance. I drove all the way over here since its where we got it from and the staff told me they dont do that here and I would need to drop if off at their LBJ location. They were not helpful. It would make sense to offer to take it there themselves since it is one of their instruments. Dont waste your time coming here.

Seamless and easy for instrument rentals. I was able to rent a violin for my son during COVID and teach him at home. Grateful this place was open and willing to help my son pick out his first instrument!Thank you!

Horrible customer service. I called 2 stores and they gave me mixed information. I just went to Sam Ash to order the additional items I needed. Terrible experience.

Great customer service. I needed to rent a practice cello. The cello was beautiful and in perfect condition and came with a hard case on rollers to pull it like a suitcase. They tuned it for us by showing us how to tune it with the phone app. I compared their monthly rates to other music stores and they are better than most. Their monthly rate also includes full coverage insurance. The staff have always been very nice, courteous and helpful every time.

Awesome service

I took my bassoon in for an overall inspection and check-up; George was knowledgeable about my instrument and had it back to me in one day. Told me exactly what was done & although it did not need a lot of work, it definitely sounds and feels better with the tune up! Additionally the cost was very reasonable. Ive been a fan of Brook Mays since they were off of Central & I am very happy this location has opened for supplies and future repairs.

Highly recommended. I brought in a trumpet with some minor dents and dings that had not been played for over 15 years. All valves and slides were stuck and unusable. In a couple of days, they had it back to me good as new, with a polished shine and all dents long gone, and at a very reasonable price. They even fixed a broken zipper on the case that I had not mentioned when I brought it in. The staff was very professional and helpful. I would absolutely use them again for any instrument needs in the future.

Took my daughters flute in to get fixed, a spring came lose on the keys. It was a very quick visit and was helped almost immediately. The man that assisted me was very knowledgeable and able to answer any questions I had.

Wow, great experience! We needed an emergency thumb rest replacement for a saxophone ( on a Friday afternoon, because there is an ensemble rehearsal Saturday morning). Not only did they have the part on hand ( when no one else did), but they replaced it on the spot, didnt charge at all for labor, and only charged us for the part we needed rather than the entire thumb rest ensemble. Super nice to deal with as well.

Fixed our trumpet in less than ten minutes while we were in the shop while every other place had weeks of backlog before they could help us. They even let us play some of the different trumpets in the shop. I would highly recommend them, great, friendly, and fast service. (Plus not expensive!)

Best place you will go to. Other places for repairs, they can’t solve anything. Here, you got it fixed quick and you may be freed of charge

I took a clarinet in for repairs. They were able to do it while I waited and had it fixed in less than 45 minutes.

The service is wonderful and they did a great job on the repairs to my daughters instrument. I would highly recommend!

They are so knowledgeable, and always willing to take the time to explain everything (even to a novice parent!). Love them!

Quick and friendly, had my son’s damaged trumpet up and running the same day I brought it in for repair.

Told us to bring instrument in to be fixed when everyone was at a conference. No one available to fix it and no one cares. Frustrating.
