This is a fabulous store with employees who really care about their customers. I’ve enjoyed their excellent customer service for over 2 years now, we rent a cello for elementary orchestra. They have their repair shop onsite which is fabulous, you don’t have to wait for your kid’s instrument to be shipped off for repair. Their instruments are very high quality, and they have all of the accessories the school has required, plus some nice extras. Great experience, highly recommend!

Every time we have come in, everyone has been kind and well informed. We are new to string instruments. Everyone has been patient to take the time to explain and answer any questions. Giving tips for anything we may have missed and good tricks to keep the violin in good shape. One of the strings broke due to weather and novice violinist trying to tune. The process to get it restrung and helpful tips for tuning made it an enjoyable experience. Highly recommend.

Wonderful, helpful, knowledgeable, friendlyI was only there a few minutes...havent played a string instrument in about 20 years (bought a cheapy off Amazon) ..they quickly helped me with new rosin got my violin tuned and gave me a few tips as well as offered lessons for in person and virtual! Such a great experience as I was hesitant to be looked at silly for picking up a new instrument as an adult...I felt comfortable talking with them and left with some new found knowledge. Great service! I took my son’s oboe first a repair and they had it ready in two days. They called me as soon as it was ready and I was able to pick it up before closing time so he could use it again the next morning. Very good customer service!

I received an estimate on instrument repair and it was done very quickly. The repairman was honest and recommended other options since the repairs were to be extensive.

If I could give a zero I would. They have the worst customer service. Never follow through with call back that they say they will do and never return calls on messages left when they arent open. The person I usually need to talk to is only there from 10-2. And emails are very generic messages. Look elsewhere for better customer service. Trust me take your business elsewhere.

This place is so awesome. I came here today to come and buy a professional saxophone because Ive been needing one for a while. The staff were so helpful in helping me pick out a saxophone and giving me excellent recommendations on what I should get. They let me try out several different saxophones and even let me use a room to get a feel for each saxophone. The staff just gave me such good knowledge and insight on the pros and cons of each saxophone and gave me amazing recommendations based on my price range. The staff were also very kind and gave me a good time while I was there. They even stayed after their working hours to keep helping me! I would recommend coming here if you would like to get a repair or a new instrument, they give exceptional and brilliant service. I now have left with a brand new Cannonball Vintage Alto Saxophone. 👌👍😀

She needed a shoulder rest for her concert and he went back inside and came back with a brand new one, and the cost? $0. I gave my Gemindehart Flute here and I called and got updates. There is just only one problem is that My sister called Tuesday and asked if it was ready, and they replied with a no. Later, I called on Friday and asked is it ready? They said its been ready since Tuesday! I didnt receive a call from them when it was ready. But Overall they are a good music store and the price is neat!

The instrument repair shop at Williamson Music is phenomenal. Customer service is great. I rented our instruments from Music and Arts before and really didnt like their service or the fact that I had to drive out to Lewisville whenever I needed a repair. Williamson is quick, efficient and treats us parents who may not know jack about music or instruments like real people, not imbeciles. I will ALWAYS go here. I have three students in band and another one come next year. This will be the ONLY store I go to.

They host jazz workshops that are simply fantastic! They make me want to be a better musician.

We purchased a sax from Craigslist that the seller said they had been quoted (not from WM) that it would need over a $100 of work to get it in shape. Williamson Music fixed it up for well under $100.The service guys are wonderful! My daughters sax has since had a couple minor repairs over the last few months and each time it was fixed quickly and for very little money.We wont go anywhere else!

These folks are 100% there to SELL YOU whatever you want. They are however never available to return a message, solve a problem or care at all unless youre in the store buying!

The prices at this store are ludicrous. On amazon or most orther retail sights you can get a pair of nice dominate/helicore cello strings for about $200 and a pair of larsen cello strings for mabey $300 at most. They priced dominant/helicore strings for $300 and larsens for nearly $500! The only thing that saves this review from a one star is that the staff was kind and helpful. ( these prices are assuming that you bought them then put them on yourself, i dont know if they charge extra to put them on for you)

Repair shops is not trustworthy. I send my brand new R-13 clarinate to fix cork only they said need to fix pad and so many things in order to work instrument proper. Reason provided was age of the instrument which dose not make any sense to me . If i paid 4000$ for the instrument and it worn outs in months or gets bad in first 20 hours of use that means its quality issue not the age. We had R-11 for three years without any issue prior to that so we know how to take care of instrument too.Please check other options to fix your instrument.

Bad experience. They promised they will pick up instruments at school, never did, meanwhile they keep charging my credit card. Finally decided to drop off instrument to avoid extra charges and they don’t honor their schedule hrs on the store, website says they close at 6 pm, drove to the store and arrived at 5:40 and it was closed.

As a freelancer in the area, I had a great experience trying a vast array of trumpets from Andre Yaniello. I came in wanting to try a model they did not have in stock (was able to get it a few days later from a dealer) and ended up trying three other horns he hand picked from a convention. I ended up buying one of those instead as they were more on the lines of what I wanted. I ended up not even liking what I originally wanted to try! Andre is incredibly knowledgeable and has connections to help get whatever you might reasonably want to try on credit in the DFW area, stocking Bach, Yamaha, and Schilke trumpets. The freedom to interchange horns on credit based on what I liked and did not like was incredibly helpful.

Adjusted my sons flute (last minute request)

I really messed up by not paying my extended warranty, so of course it expired. The cost of the repairs exceeded my maintenance warranty, but they got me fixed up! Please get the warranty plan and dont let it expire it does save you money!!

I purchased my daughters clarinet here and have returned to them for repairs. They are friendly, knowledgable, and incredibly helpful. I definitely recommend this place to other parents!
