Ahanti walker is Amazing To say the least every time I come in this location she is always there to greet me with a smile and she is always so knowledgeable on on everything she is literally the reason along with the great prices and inventory for my and inventory for my weekly return and she greets me every time today I was compelled to leave this review after she voluntarily saw me going back-and-forth between 2 items and gave me amazing advice based on her experience experience you guys have a winner with this employee she deserves this along with so much more recognition keep up the great work guys 10 stars

I had a very pleasant experience at the Plantation location today. Kay was the young lady that assisted me. She was very sweet and knowledgeable. She took her time with me and gave me very helpful tips that I would have not known otherwise. I am very glad that I chose this location and that Kay was there to assist me. The manager was also very helpful. I would recommend this store to friends and family. Definitely worth the five star review.

I Love coming here to get my beauty supplies, Ive been coming here for almost 3 years. I’ve visited this location a half dozen times now since the pandemic. I’ve noticed that there have been some positive changes and additions to the inventory. Being and entrepreneur, customer service and being familiar with that product is paramount. Cyntia is the ideal employee. Helpful, knowledgeable and professional.

New management is amazing. NAKESHA had the best customer service ever. She will help you pick out what youre looking for and explain the hair type to you. Amazing!!

This place is beyond a rip off joint. My mom went in to buy me a ponytail extension and they sold her the completely wrong product. When we went back a couple hours later the manager was cold, callous, disrespectful and did not care to help us get the correct product that we initially wanted. We would have been great customers as we live so close, but I personally will never step foot in this place and neither should you.There are other Beauty Supply places that would appreciate your business and give customer service.. Shes a single mom that works hard for her money and all she wanted was the correct product. DISGUSTING!

I’ve been to this store a couple of time, and I can say that the customer service their is top notch. Especially from one of the employee that’s there, who’s name is Nakisha. Very sweet girl with a friendly approach. She makes sure that what ever that is needed is taking care.

There was a woman who apparently was a beautician. She was extremely helpful, and advised me concerning the color I wanted to get my hair to.She directed me to a product to remove old dyes from my hair, and then to the dye and let too get the color I want. She was extremely nice, and extremely helpful.However, when I used the products she recommended, I did not notice much difference in the one that was supposed to remove dye.The color she recommended along with the 20 level lifter was not enough to lift my darker tones of my hair as I wanted, so I was disappointed.I think 30 volume lifter would have been more effective, plus the original dye color I wanted, so I will go back for that.

I suppose wouldnt be fair to say all sales employees are unknowledgeable and unhelpful, but the one that helped me clearly does not communicate well or have product knowledge. On top of selling me the wrong nonreturnable expensive product, the manager was obnoxious, rude, and unhelpful in dealing with the problem.upon my return a few hours later. Instead of trying to find a solution or a compromise he was condescending and rude. I spent quite a bit of money there and even bought the VIP customer card that very same day....UNBELIEVEABLE!! #stayaway

Okay lets go... This review is not about the stores inventory. If youre looking for beauty supplies, they got it. Thats the pros.Here are the cons and this is just an observation.First of all they dont have a working bathroom which makes me a little nervous. Cause where are the workers washing their hands? Let me guess the arbys next door. But I digress. Has anyone noticed that none of the young ladies working there wear the weaves or wigs that they actually sell? Maybe they know something we dont know. Thats just like going to publix and asking a cashier if they shop at their own stores and they reply walmart has better quality foods.The beauty salon in the store is great though Angie is fantastic but she deserves her own separate shop.Dear women be wise of where you are spending your money. You may be funding money laundering, misogynistic, overly religious organizations.

I went here to see if I could get my hair done. They do have a stylist and to see if she was available her name is Angie and she did a beautiful style for me as I needed my hair done for a short notice trip.

Elegant beauty supplies have all you need at a reasonable price. The staff are wonderful and friendly. The only issue is the broken tiles on the side of the stores walkway. I have parked there several times and messed up my tires. I thought they would have fixed it by now but I guess not. Aside from that, outs a good place to shop fur your haute care needs.

Cashier was very nice but the parking is hard to maneuver and the spaces are kinda tight. The store itself has a lot of options and I need to later compare their prices to the other shop on university that I shop at. And the cashier was very friendly, even though the mask hid her smile, I could tell she was actually smilingly.

Bad first time experience, lady at cashier told me where to look for something and when I could not find it she started telling me to try other aisles, no staff in the store to help you, not friendly and need African American knowledgeable people in there about hair products, I wasn’t happy at all !!!!!

I love the variety of items that the store provides. However the customer service in the store is horrible minus the young lady at the register. I called the store asking for a particular item and instead of them actually going check she flat told me no. Of course I drove to the store and it was there! The ignorance and attitude the staff walks around in the store with is a complete turn off.

Theyre not very friendly they follow you around but dont know where to find anything at and they make you feel like youre stealing when you havent picked up anything customer service could definitely be a lot better. They do have a great selection of products I will give him that but the help you be a lot better there were seven people today and people looked at me like I was crazy when I ask for help

The older lady with the blonde looking hair is the worst. I tried asking a question and she didn’t even look at me, rolled her eyes, and couldn’t even point me to the right direction. Avoid her at all cost.

Absolutely terrible customer service. The manager, who is the leader, is the worst example of management and probably explains why the rest of the staff lacks a clear example of good customer service. I suggest all black people, who make up this business to start support black whether it’s a bit more of a drive or shopping online! We deserve the best.

Horrible first experience, the fact that when I walked in and stared at instead of welcomed was the first thing I noticed. Then I go to the front to get help and they still stare at me. Another customer comes up(male) then she acknowledges me. I said to her I needed help but everyone keeps walking away from. She then says “well you didn’t say anything.” Is this your job or mine? Instead you should said I’m sorry I didn’t see you do you need anything she continued to ignore me and ring up a customer that case after me. Just rude. I will never come back to this place. I drove 20 mins. I could of went to the hood where I’m appreciated.

You know, I read sooo many bad reviews about this store that I decided to drop by myself....wow, I am so glad I did! The staff greeted me at the door...she went the extra mile, she helped me all the way...ladies, I do recommend this place 👌

Very courteous staff and great products.

I bought some tintation semi dye and before I got home, I realized the one bottle was half empty. I went back and did an even exchange without any issues. That evening I used both colors and maybe about a quarter of each bottle as it was for my children. I followed the directions to detail, keeping it on for 15 minutes and then rinsing. All of the color literally washed right out. The next day I went back to the store and I explain my situation and I was told that they cannot do an exchange for another product or give me my money back. The cashier then proceeded to tell me that I can speak to someone else in the store who uses the product all of the time. The lady came and told me that I should leave it on for a couple hours or even overnight. I just could not understand why I would do anything other than what the directions say. They said just do not follow the directions. I have shopped there multiple times and never had an issue but to be quite honest if the product does not work, I would Have expected a little bit more out of them. They never even suggested that I contact the company directly. That would be great customer service.

They don’t trust you to take wig to the counter, but then can’t keep up with who has what wig. I get home and I have the wrong wig. I call the store to tell him and he reminds me they close in 10 mins,but I need it for tonight and already home. No apology. Nothing. Then He says well you confirmed it. Well if the picture looks similar to the one I chose, how the heck would I know that it’s a longer version? I will never go back to this location. It is always an issue here. They need a better system. Everyone isn’t a thief! No customer service at all!!!!!!

I had an issue in my local store.I called corporate office in Hollywood it took 4 months to receive a call back ...caution make sure you look closely when you pick out hair style which I have the same for the past 3 years.I realized they pulled down the wrong hair when I got home and opened it

Everything was fine until I had to look for some gloves to be able to perm my hair. They have a small selection of gloves but they are by the box in the same section as hair dye...it took me 5 minutes to find gloves for individual use...I was told they were up front by the register...still couldnt find them...then I was directed to the gloves that were on a bottom shelf across from the register...most of the gloves are Xlarge...I wear medium...that took 1 minute to find...why arent these gloves conveniently placed alongside the boxed gloves with the hair dyes? If they were it would have made life a lot easier.

Wigs galore and Tracking Hair extensions in a all colors and lengths styles and textures. Try the new clips to hold your new extensions in place. No matter what you choose regular or medium price your style will be on point. I personally like the pineapple curls in a 10 inch. Wig caps extension caps some caps have braids on them already. I used it for the curly crochet. It was awesome. My hair is natural, so I buy my natural products here as well. There is always new trendy hair accessories and earrings to choose from. Look fabulous and see what your getting before you buy version better than taking a gamble with an online order.

I love this place!! The staff is very helpful. There is one customer service rep name Gloria who was very knowledgeable with products I was interested in, she took her time explaining everything I needed and had the best attitude and smile. I would definitely return to the beauty supply place 😍

Before stepping foot into this business I read the reviews. I read a lot of negative comments on this place’s customer service however, my experience here was nothing like what the comments said. Normally when I walk into a beauty supply the employees don’t want to help me. At Elegant a young lady surprised me with her knowledge on natural hair products. She made sure I got everything I needed and did not leave my side until she was sure I got everything I was looking for. Definitely earned a customer.

This is one of my favorite regular spots for beauty supplies. On this trip I got my gel eyeliners, clear brow gel, brow tint, purple mascara, makeup box, & sulfur spray for my scalp. I was in & out in 12 minutes..love shopping here!

I visited yesterday. The cashier barely acknowledged my presence. She didnt say hello or asked if I found everything I was looking for in the store. She carried on a conversation with another employee while she was conducting my transaction. Afterwards, she didnt bother to say thank you. I dont care how well the store is stocked, Im never going back because the customer service is terrible.

I love Elegant Beauty. They have a great selection of hair extensions, and makeup. I usually find what Im looking for, and the employees are helpful, but the atrocious rap music that they play, is enough to make anyone want to leave in a hurry! Noone with morals should want to listen to music that is so obnoxious, and degrading to women! Otherwise I would rate this place 5 stars.

Every time I go shopping for specific items.... NOTHING IN STOCK! Ive tried 4 different times to look & see if they wouldve had received a shipment or whatnot without any success! Also, no staff to help with what youre looking for! At last, most items have NO price tags therefore you ought to wait in line to get it scanned to find out the price. Customer service was good and found all I needed however, there’s a rep there that smelled like weed. This is very bad for business. Whoever owns this place needs to reconsider the people that are hired. Very disgusting.
