Our fist time ever using Target Optical! Was a great experience & Alex was very helpful in helping my husband out with his new glasses! He made it a pleasant experience. We will definitely be going there from now on.

I had a really pleasant experience here. From my first visit to select the frames I’ll get, to the day I came to my eye exam. Alex is great at helping you choose the frames you would like to get.Also, Doctor Victoria provides an outstanding experience during the eye exam. She has great patience to teach you how to put your contact lenses on and take them off as well if you’re a first timer.Alex was also very thorough to explain the great discounts you get if you get both the glasses and the contact lenses. I highly recommend this optical to anyone who lives around the area.

Great place. The doctor were great, she help ease my worries as my eyes were dilated. She is knowledgeable in what she does. Then gentleman at the front provided good service, and he was honest with the type of glasses that look right for me. Thank you both for a great experience.

I went in-store to make the appointment a few days before. Nell was very professional and helped me to figure out my insurance issues.Today my husband, my son, and I went in for our eye exam. We got the same great service from Nell. Our doctor was very patient and kind.Alex helped us with choosing our glasses. He too was very helpful. On top of great customer service, he was able to help us save a few bucks.There was a variety of great, fashionable eyewear to choose from as well. In all my years of wearing glasses, this is the first time I cant wait to get my glasses.Great experience from beginning to end. Thank you!

Very good overall experience, when I arrived Alex was alone and swamped. But he took care of everyone and got me a sweet deal on 2 pairs of glasses at half the cost of my previous optician.All my concerns were addressed and in spite of the slight delay the customer service was exceptional. You really should check out Target Optical and ask for Alex!!

The lens in my eyeglasses came out so, I immediately when to the Target Optical, at the Broward Mall. Fortunately for me, Alex was there, who immediately sized up the problem and told me to come back in 20 minutes. Sure enough, when I returned, the glasses were fixed, with new wire to hold the lenses in place. And, to top it off, there was no charge, even though the glasses were purchased elsewhere. Thanks Alex, your the best!!

I ordered contact lenses from Target Optical online. They didnt send the correct lenses for my left eye.I went to this story and was assisted by Alex, the Registered Optician. He was so nice, accommodating and went completely out of his way to assist me. He called corporate on my behalf, got the matter resolved, and gave me a contact lens to hold me over until my order with the correct lenses arrive.I couldnt possibly ask for better service. Alex won me over completely, and I will use this store for all my future eyecare needs.Thanks, Alex!!!!

Terrible place. How is a store supposed to run if it doesn’t have employees working. I went Friday to purchase glasses and there was no one working in the store. I was there asking for help and waited for almost 30 minutes. The store was supposed to close at 8 and had no employees what so ever an hour prior to closing. I went to the front and spoke to one of the store employees who stated the store should have employees working, the associate walked with me to the store and try calling thought the walkie to find the person that was supposed to be in charge of this place. I will be taking my business else where and hope no one has to go through what I went though. I don’t have a car and had to take a bus just to make it and purchase glasses in a store that has no employees yet all the lights are on. At first I figured the person might of been in the bathroom or something but they never returned, not only does this look bad for target but it had all the glasses exposed to anyone to help themselves and take them. I wasted my money taking the bus and left without any glasses.

When you go there, ask for Alex. He went above and beyond to help my daughter! Great customer service! Thank you Alex!

The eye doctor at target is Inexperience. I would never go back to target with this independent eye doctor. Nice lady but not too experienced for your eyes.

MrAlex was very helpful. Dr Victoria was nice and thorough. I strongly recommend this location for your glasses if you have Humana Vision Insurance.

I had a great experience. Dr. Victoria Bender did a great job with my eye exam, and the customer service rep who assisted me with my glasses, Alex was a pleasure to deal with. Their prices were the same from what I have seen at other places. So after my insurance was applied, my out of pocket was what I expected.

My son lost a contact lens while on vacation. Worked with Alex and Mel to get new contacts ordered and a trial pair to make it through vacation. These guys were AMAZING!

I had an issue with one of the pairs of glassesThey were so snug on one side. I just could not wear them.( pain and pressure, from frames)Went back and talked to Alex.He worked with me and the glasses to makeSure the fit was just right.Alex, IS THE MAN !!! he will take care of you.

HIGHWAY ROBBERY!I went in for a visit for contacts and frames. I was told by one of the ladies there that my insurance covered up to $130 for frames, so I chose some priced at $135. I was also told that my copay would be around $10. My last visit to a Target Optical came out to around $110 so thats roughly what I was expecting to pay.I had $137 in my bank account to work with. At the end of it all she tells me the total for contacts, frames and copay was $275. Obviously I balked at it, and was shocked so much that I didnt even think to ask why, just how can we get it lower. So we removed the glasses and I was told, quote, Your new total is $101.96 - to reiterate, I was told my **TOTAL** was $101.96. Since this is what I was expecting, I paid it. After the transaction went through I was told that the doctors visit was a separate $75 charge. Again, I didnt even think to ask why, because I was so floored that I started to have an anxiety attack and just paid it so I could LEAVE.I was completely misled as to what the cost would be, and now not only dont have new glasses, but Im now overdrawn. Im disputing the charge with my bank because, whether intentional or not, I was clearly misled, given false information, and put into a position where I was literally forced to overdraw my account. By definition, this is highway robbery.I will not be using Target Optical again. My previous experience was a good one which is why I went back again, however this experience has left such a sour taste in my mouth, I intend to broadcast the full details of this experience in every public forum and social media platform that I can in order to drive business away. This is a HORRIBLE way to do business and you should be ASHAMED.

Let’s started it off with the supervisor is on vacation and no one is covering! The Pitts!! Smh!! You mean to tell me you have no one in upper management available to assist with issues?!? B.S. Anyways, this place a big scam! I was charged a physician exam fee without being told the physician was not in network. I added my insurance to schedule the appt, I provided my insurance when I arrived, I put all the information for MY insurance on the new patient paperwork but no one seemed to let me know that the physician didnt take my insurance nor did I know that they found my husbands insurance in the computer system(which includes me on the vision plan) to bill. In fact, they decided to bill my husbands insurance without telling me they located his information and proceeded with billing his plan. Why they would do that I have no idea.... especially when the paperwork and card I provided says a different vision plan. Very fishy and probably even illegal. Patients have choices as far as the doctors they see and they have choices to decide if they want to go out of network with seeing that particular physician. Im almost 110% sure your not allowed to bill someones insurance without their consent. Now let’s get started on the final total... so I request for the young lady to order 2 boxes of contacts which are $54 each. My insurance allows $150 allowance so I say ok give me 2 boxes and she responds “you get a better deal if you order 4 boxes for $69” so of course I agree. In the process of charging me a $110 co pay (out of network exam fee) she charges me an additional $69!!! What the heck.... how so? Apparently, she billed my insurance for $150 and then adds $69 because the contacts aren’t $69 they are actually over $200! Communication is key and this place sucks at it!!! Makes me wonder if the workers are getting commission of sales. Worse experience ever.... NEVER AGain!!!! Stay away!
