Ive been taking all my vehicles including a service vehicle to Phil for years. His team has worked on our vehicles and maintained them by replacing batteries, tires, changing the oil and other maintenance. All at a fair price. He is completely honest and upfront about the repair costs and is very prompt in ordering parts when needed. Last time I was in I had him look at a $2500 repair estimate from the dealer. Upon looking at the issue, his mechanic tightened the leaking power steering hose and topped off the reservoir of fluid. Thankfully I declined the dealer repair of $2,500 to repair the power steering pump because I knew I wanted a second opinion and that if it was leaking Phil could do it for much less. He even gave me a can of power steering fluid the dealer refused to give me to get me through as it is a service vehicle. I have the upmost confidence in Phil. Wonderful customer service. I highly recommend!
I have been going there for many years, and Phil is always fair, professional, accommodating and respectful. Phil and his team have helped me may times, they have done a great job servicing my car and my familys cars. Never had a problem and its always been a good, positive experience.
Phil was great fixed my air conditioning in one day. Price was less than half of other quotes.
Very helpful and great service...Definitely going back ...
I called 3 times in the span of a week to get a quote on mounting and balancing 4 new tires and got their vmail. I could understand be short handed with all thats going on (covid) so I left a message each time explaining the service I wanted. I never got a call back. I even told them I lived locally and very much wanted to give my work to local businesses so please call me back. Nothing. Wont ever use or recommend this shop. Could never trust a shop that wont even take 2 minutes to return a call.
My tire had a nail in it and was going flat. I was on my way to a chain like Big O Tires or Pep Boys, but because of the flat I drove into Chevron in Pleasant Hill. Immediately they took care of me and the tire. I was out of there in about 10 minutes and the tire was fixed. Price was amazing, customer service was amazing. Next time you need service, take your car here.
I’ve been coming to this shop for routine maintenance and minor repairs for more than 8 years now (ashamed it took this long to write a review, trying to do more of this these days)Anyway I’ve been bring multiple personal vehicles here regularly as well as referred many others over the years who have also made this their go-to shop. The work has always be done correctly and the prices fair. Vehicles I’ve brought in; 80’ Chevy pick-up, 90’s Volvo, 00’s BMW, as well as the referrals which were mostly newer cars.Obviously I have had repeatedly good experiences at the station and I see that a few others have had a less good experience, so in the interest of supporting small business I simply ask that you let my eight years of multiple car experiences with the shop weigh at least equal to a negative review from someone who brought one car here one time.I obviously have a biased opinion but rightly so since I’ve had so many positive experiences, others have a bias opinion because they had one negative experience. Take both types of reviews good or bad with a grain of salt, and go have your own experience. Thanks for the many years of quality service Morello Chevron!
The gas station and the auto shop are two different companies. With that being said, the Chevron is very clean and the owner is a very nice and humble man. Also! One of the cheapest places for Chevron gas.
Do your self a favor - Do Not Go There! I came there with the coupon from Local Buzz which was a $59 dollar AC recharge + freon. Ok. The bill became $256. What! I am not paying this. The manager crumpled both my estimate and coupon and threw it on the ground. BAIT and SWITCH.
I want to point out that the gas station and the auto shop are separate business run by separate owners. Gas station side is really good as the gas price is cheapest for Chevron Gasoline in town and customer service from the gas station is really good.
They Damaged my Car! I had a quote from Audi for a oil leak repair, $2300. I took my car to the shop at Morello Chevron, I gave the Auto Shop Manager the quote from Audi. He said he could do the repairs for $1500. The day I picked up my car the manager was so rude, he demanded I pay cash. I had my fiancee come home from work and go to the bank so I could pay it all in cash. When I returned from the bank, the station employees had moved my car from the parking lot into the shop and it was lifted up on the rack. I confronted the employees to why my car was moved and lifted, if it had already been repaired, what business did they have underneath my car? The car still had the engine light on, but I did not want to ever go back to Morelli Chevron, because of my nightmare with them. I left it parked, but when I needed to get the renewal on the registration, I took it to another shop, with both quotes from Audi and Morello Chevron, the shop diagnosed the car and said it has serious problems and take it back to the shop that did the work. I called Morello Chevron. They refused to let me speak to the stations manager but instead had me talk to the manager of their shop. I told him what the mechanic said and the manager of the Morelli Chevrons shop refused to fix it. He said he knew the engine light was still on when I picked up the car. I told him I will have to take this to small claims, none of this damage was there before Morello Chevron worked on my car. The shop manager said do what you gotta do. He did admit he knew the engine light was on when I took my car home. So I took my car to a Audi repair shop and they told me and Morellos shop manager admitted, they removed the transmission to fix the oil leak. Now instead of an oil leak, the turbo, catalitic converter, and electrical are not working. Plus the underneath engine cover of my car was now off, needing replacement. I called Chevron, they said it is not there problem, Morello Chevron is independently owned. When Chevron contacted the station owner, he said it is not his problem, the repair shop is independently owned. Since I had already spent my $1700. I am now on the hook to pay Audi for the 6 pages of damages to my car, which were not there before I took it to the repair shop at Morello Chevron. Buyer Beware. My choice to take my car to Chevron cost me thousands and thousands of dollars.
If I could give zero stars, I would. Terrible customer service. They overcharged me so horribly. 300 to replace spark plugs and wires, then they put in one at an angle so it seized and didnt screw another in all the way so it leaked oil everywhere! Go anywhere but here! Totally inept!
Just regular Chevron gas station. Nothing existing. And like in most Chevron and Shell stations - gas prices are higher then in non-brand gas stations.
This is for the oil change service. The host/clerk is lazy and rude. Would not take me as a customer with time 15 minutes left on the clock yet did not have the closed sign up. You must service your customer until you close.
Its a gas station. What more is there to say?
Great Service.
Pretty expensive!
