We had an excellent experience with Chilton Auto body. We dropped off our vehicle for some rear end repairs and were amazed to have it back within 2 days. Rico was super friendly and professional as he walked us through the process. He also updated us along the way. The repairs were more than we expected. They used OEM parts which was important to us and the paint work was a perfect match. Our Outback looks like we just drove it off the show room floor. For us, its a recommend. Thank you Chilton Auto Body!

I hate leaving negative reviews but I just felt totally neglected and brushed aside by this shop. I reached out to Chilton because I was referred to this shop by Tesla. The responsiveness of the team here is pretty bad. After nearing a month of trying to get my windshield replaced, Rico kept making the excuse that he didn’t know which windshield was the correct one for my vehicle. I was able to find this info with a 5 minute call to Tesla Service. To this date, I still don’t have a response from Rico. I would not recommend this shop and I’m personally reaching out to Tesla to make sure it doesn’t keep referring people to Chilton. There are a lot better shops out there.

Just took my grand daughters car in for an estimate on a minor problem and in 15 minutes they fixed at no charge. Second time I have used them and they are just the best. This was in the Pleasonton shop

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR TO THIS SHOP!!!!! I am amazed at the 5 star ratings based on our experience. We brought our BMW to Chilton Auto Body after an accident at the recommendation of essurance. The manager of the Pleasanton location, Bob, ordered the wrong part for part of the repair and then kept telling us it was going to take 30 days for them to reimburse him and his supervisor was going to be pissed so he wanted us to pay for the part and he would reimburse us later. We were not okay with that and communicated through our insurance that they needed to order, pay and install the part. For an entire week, Bob lied to us daily saying he had reordered the correct part and it should be there any day but wanted us to pick up the car and bring it back to install when arrived. Since he would never follow up as promised, when we would call daily for a status he would put us on hold to go check if it had arrived, made more excuses, promised to get right back to us and never did only to find out when the insurance co got fed up with him that he never even ordered the part. The caused us an additional 3 weeks without our car. In an attempt to resolve this with the owner, and based on all the other reviews we assumed this was isolated experience with one bad employee and we were anxious for the owner Mike Chilton to make this right. Well now Im sitting here 4 emails and 17 voicemails later and I can not get a response. This is truly the worst customer experience I have ever had. Do not trust these guys!

Chilton Auto body was great, Ranielle took us in right away for a repair to my wifes new Volvo which had damage to the lower part of the door. They were fast friendly and the work is impeccable, I highly recommend them!

Had a scratch on a bumper. Fixed in 2 days after parts was ordered and arrived. Sometimes you have to wait to be served even if you scheduled estimate on calendar, through their website.

My experience in this workshop impressed me a lot, first I looked in Fremont, Hayward, Livermore and finally Pleasanton, I received a quote from these places, but they did not convince me, so I decided on Chilton autobody in Pleasanton where I live, they really exceeded my expectations as well I highly recommend it, they have high quality of service at reasonable prices. I am very grateful for it.
