I requested a quote from Yelp and received a response with a price breakdown and all of the inspections/replacements they planned to do.When came in to get my scheduled maintenance and they were able to get it done in a timely manner, not to mention the prices are super reasonable. Amazing customer and car service. I took my car for a check up after a visit at the dealer which resulted in pricey fix it list. The quote at R&C Auto Repair was affordable for my wallet. The staff was very respectful towards me explaining everything throughly. They serviced my car the same day and I havent had any issues since. I would definitely recommend this place for any car service.

I had an oil leak and the local dealership said it would be $2,600 for labor alone...I took it to R&C Auto on a friends recommendation and when they checked for the oil leak they said they could pin point where it was coming from. They put dye in the oil so we could find out exactly where it was. After driving it for a few hundred miles, they found exactly where it was (the oil pan) and said it was minor and only need a small patch. Turned out to be a little over $200!! A LOT better than that shady dealership.The service was on time and finished very quickly. These guys are honest, hard working, and are priced at a great value!Safe to say I found my new auto shop!

I went to R &C by mistake. I was calling places closer to home and accidentally dialed R&C. Because they were so polite and helpful over the phone, I thought I would give them a try. I was very happy with their service. They don’t try to up sell service. The repair technicians are honest and helpful. The folks there are attentive and good people. They answer their phone and stay in touch with me during the service.I drive out of my way and past several auto repair businesses on the way to R & C and I’m sure I’m passing some good ones, but now that R &C has treated my family and cars well, I will continue to do business with them.

Took my Ford Edge in to have repairs done, and my experience with R & C was great. All car repairs are expensive but they took care of me and gave me a couple of discounts even. Repairs were explained, and they didnt try to oversell me on additional repairs or parts. Joel kept in contact with me and gave me updates throughout the entire process. Id definitely recommend them to anyone in need of a good automotive repair and service shop.

I was changing out my drive belt and ac belt, not only their price was more than reasonable but their work was spot on! I was able to get in and out fast. I recently took my Lexus RX300 here for service and an issue with some leaking oil and I was very happy with the service I received. The young lady at the front desk (I believe her name was Sophie) was very welcoming and knowledgeable and super nice. The problem was taken care of quickly and I got my car back quicker than I thought. The price was very fair as well. I will be taking my car back here again for sure.

Ive been a loyal R and C customer for over two years. These guys are the best mechanics Ive ever had - and Ive lived overseas so that is a HUGE compliment. They are trustworthy - never have I felt so confident that Im not being taken for a ride, something I truly value and feel is missing in this industry. Very honest business practice!! I took our 2010 Mazda CX-7 to have the A/C diagnosed, instead of charging us hundreds of dollars for a brand new compressor, they were very honest to report that it was only a broken relay. The A/C on our Mazda has never worked properly, it never got cold when the A/C was on. I have made numerous attempts and reported to the Mazda Dealership. Apparently, the dealership could not find the problem. Thank you R&C auto for finally fix our car! Thank you thank you! I would highly recommend them!

This place is just incredible!They are very honest and really care about your car. Most auto repair places are just fix what you asked for but this place really care about your car. Also the customoer services are awesome! They make sure everything done right and well explain about any process that they are going to do. I had new brake pad and rotor from here and everything done right in and out. The price is reasonable as comparing to other places. Surely, I would love to come back again for other services.

This summer I decided to check if my 2005 Subaru is still in a good condition. I took it to the Subaru Service and was told that the car has 2 issues. It will cost $4000 to fix them. I took the car to R&C Auto. They found the same 2 issues. They fixed one of them for free by tightening a bolt and the other one cost me $350.2. I love R&C Auto front desk. Really :). They are very friendly, organized and always make sure that the work is done as per their initial time/money estimates so I can plan too.Ladies of the front desc is one the important reasons of my very good experience with R&C.I also really appreciate that they explain very clearly and in a simple way what the issue is and how it should be fixed.3. After reading all the reviews for R&C Auto after my car had started to run really rough after just moving to the area, I figured it wouldnt hurt to bring it over to these guys and see if the other reviewers were right. Contacted R&C via email on Tuesday and had it scheduled first thing in the morning on Thursday.After it being there a little over an hour they let know me what the issue was, how much the part would cost, and what the estimated total for servicing it would be. Price was fair and I was able to pick the car up after work without any hassle. Definitely will be going to these guys again.

Everyone at R & C is very nice and responsive. I had a diesel truck which is not their area of expertise and they assist me as best they could, very prompt did no more that they were qualified to do. I would use them again for a gas vehicle as that is what they know.

Outstanding staff and service. They were friendly and gave a fair and honest quote and stuck to it. They called when they said they would, and finished the job on time. I had six check engine errors codes going in, and they were able to solve it with one fix (obviously, not all people will be so lucky, but still--no one took advantage of my situation).Needless to say, if I have any future issues, Ill be back without hesitation.

~As far as price goes, i think they are very fair (car work is just so expensive everywhere) ~ they kept me informed of price and action and what is a must do and what i could wait on.... and did a great job getting all my codes taken care of.... but my check engine light came on again a few days after they had just worked on it and they were great about taking it back in asap ~ it was some fluke thing with an unrelated plug had come undone.......Sophie, the young women in the front is a gem, she explained everything and kept me updated....they even made sure i had a way back to Mountain House when i needed to leave my car over night.~~~

My hours are too crazy as a super commuter to make it to the shop myself during business hours but I was kept up to date on everything without feeling worked or beat up on the price with unnecessary work to my car. This was my first visit and I was made to feel like a valued customer.

Many times going into auto shops, I leave feeling like people at the shop were untruthful or trying to take advantage of me. I felt the exact opposite here! They were extrememly kind and honest. They let you know exactly what you are getting and walk you through the process!

Went to R&C Auto Service today to have my brakes checked due to an intermittent grinding noise, which was concerning as I had new brakes done a year and 1/2 ago. I chose this company based on the positive reviews on Yelp. I dropped off the car and shortly received a call back saying the brakes were OK, safe to use, & that the noise was probably due to hot spots on rotors, probably due to lower quality rotors being placed when brakes had been done earlier at different company. However, they recommended new brakes for the back, which I told them to go ahead and do. When I picked up my car this afternoon, I was again reassured that my front brakes were fine, the noise was mostly an irritant, and that if the noise became worse or more frequent that I should bring the car back for check up. I was also told they would check the brakes any time I came there for an oil change. I appreciate their honesty and recommendations, and plan to bring my car here for future repairs and maintenance. After my Tahoe failed the smog test for an EVAP error, I took it to R&C to be repaired. I was very happy with the service they provided. EVAP errors are notoriously time consuming and not easy to diagnose, so I thought the $110 diagnostic charge was reasonable. Upon completion of the repairs, they checked to confirm that the OBD was clear of any error codes, so that I could get it smogged. They were kind enough to reduce the diagnostic charge to $55 since I had them do the necessary repairs, which was an added bonus. I would highly recommend their services and will definitely go back for any of my repair needs.-Shawn Farrell
