With all the raves about the frozen custard I went to give it a try. Its just vanilla or chocolate soft serve and I went with it in a Sunday. Was hoping for something special but it was lousy, small, and poorly built. The service and atmosphere is also 2 stars. Worst of all they were out of hot fudge. I recommend they stop calling the soft serve custard,improve the atmosphere and the cups that they use to serve your ice cream in, plus hire friendlier staff.

Good little ice cream shop. Open late which was nice. Small selection, but all good options to choose from. Will be back again.

Great variety. I wanted to try everything. They have amazing quality and variety of ice creams, Italian ices, frozen custard, Gelato, etc. Everything a true ice cream connoisseur could want. Good service, helpful explaining all the options. Ill be back for sure.

Delicious vanilla frozen custard! friendly staff. You can customize your frozen custard bowl/cone with whatever toppings you want from their list of toppings. Not very crowded. Server makes it a point to wash hands after every order served - good safety measures in covid times!

This is one of my favorite places downtown! It is perfect to come with friends especially before football games and after school. I came here so many times throughout high school I filled out 6 of the punchcards, and the staff new me by name. Speaking of the staff they are all super nice and helpful! I love getting half vanilla custard half Italian ice its the best!

Dont leave this place without trying the frozen custard!!!7/27/17 Update: excellent small vanilla/chocolate frozen custard (maybe kids size is enough). Only negative - ammonia smells from cleaning.

The lady working didn’t even wear gloves and was wearing her mask under her nose like what the heck but the ice cream was pretty good

First time ever coming to this establishment and apparently they couldn’t serve any of their ice cream because it was rock solid. Not only was I disappointed but shocked they even decided to open the store to only serve what, chocolate covered bananas and soft serve ice cream that was extremely overpriced. The one star is because the employee was kind and made the best of the situation her boss had put her in.

Super cool staff, super delicious ice-cream. Home made and creamy. The black walnut ice-cream is crazy good. My kid loves the ices. Nice size portions. We are currently on a weekly.

The frozen custard is a soft serve on steroids. Its much creamier and has a more complex flavor than anything Ive tried. The strawberry ice cream is also the best I’ve tried. It’s more sweet and less tangy yet more flavorful.

Great Italian ice!! I get sugar free and so happy that they have SF!! The frozen custard is awesome too. Since my first day there I have gone nearly every workday. Great service!!

The owners are so awesome and kind! They spend 30 mins showing us flavors and letting us taste them and explain the process of how they were made. Havent ever tried anything I didnt like!

Best icecream/custard/frozen ice ever. We come over the hill often in the summer for fun activities and Flavor Brigade has become a tradition for us. Unfortunately this summer prior commitments has kept us stuck in the flat lands but we are venturing out today for last summer hoorah as the kids start school Monday and Flavor Brigade will make a perfect night cap.Also worth mentioning, theircustomer service is as awesome as their ice-cream. We are a loud, probably obnoxios, group; my kids are on the wild side:.. but we’ve always been welcomed and greeted with smiles and patience, even the times we’ve come barging in 2 minutes before closing time!

This is my go to ice cream shop in downtown Pleasanton! They have great Italian ice and frozen custard all served by a friendly staff. The frozen custard here is AMAZING!

Wed finished a craft show and had just finished a late lunch at Taqueria El Chepe next door (also 5 stars) and decided to get some frozen custard. This was the best tasting frozen custard Ive ever had. I got chocolate and it had little flecks of chocolate mixed in. Creamy, not too sweet, and the right amount of chocolate taste. My wife got Italian ice with vanilla and it tasted just like a creamcicle. Staff member was also super friendly and we will be going back.
