Tasty treats, not enough sauces to go with the munchie foods. It was also kind of pricey but I did enjoy the service and the modern dining room.
Prior to the pandemic, I used to love coming here and couldnt wait for them to open once again. Finally, they are now open and I am here after months of waiting. Customer service is horrible. Waited in line with no acknowledgement. Only to find out the almost every item on the hot menu is not available.Waited for nothing...
Tried out dessert there. We ordered crepes and ice cream. Crepes were ok and ice cream was horrible. We ordered only one cup for entry family and we have it throw away. Ambience is excellent. Stars are for Ambience not for did. Waste of money.. not suggestable to any..
So many flavors. The kids like the oreo cookie and the adults loved the coffee ice cream rolls.
If I could give zero stars, I would. Everything is grossly overpriced (a drink is like $6 dollars, ice cream $9, after tax it all adds up to $17 total for my order for just a drink and an ice cream), don’t even get me started on the other products, and on top of that we had to wait almost an hour FOR ONE BUBBLE TEA AND ICE CREAM. Which, did I forget to mention, they didnt even bother telling us about.I ordered a boba tea, for 25% sugar and no ice. Well, guess what. When my order came 40 minutes later, it was absolutely LOADED with ice and sugar, because apparently you cant have no ice, only less ice. Im sorry, is it really that hard to not put the ice in the first place? Isnt it better for you too because you get to save up your ice? Also, might I add, HALF MY CUP WAS LITERALLY FILLED WITH ICE. Does that LOOK like LESS ICE TO YOU?! I also ordered agar boba (since they had no more regular boba) to go with it for an additional $0.50, but they put like half a spoonful in and it was all finished in like TWO SIPS. How dare you, youre not only making us wait for an hour, youre also being stingy on the amount of product added! At this rate, you’re scaring away all of your potential customers (I saw someone ask about the wait time, hear about the hour long wait, and immediately walk out the front door. That says… a lot. To be honest, I should have done that as soon as I heard, but --regretfully-- I decided to give the benefit of doubt and wait), never mind the ones that actually bought something! Lesson learned: never coming back again. The ice cream took even longer, about 55 minutes for a simple bit of ice cream. Which, might I add, was so nasty tasting. It tasted overly sweet, a cloying sickeningly sweet taste, obviously made out of some gross processed artificial milk sugar syrup. Plus, there was a terribly small amount that they poured out, then rolled up to look bigger in the cup. I couldve just gone to Walmart and bought a tub of plenty of QUALITY ice cream for $2 in 5 minutes.TL;DR:Dont bother wasting your time and money at this place. Grossly overpriced, bad quality, super long wait, stingy product amounts. Wasted an hour of my life here waiting for two small products when I could have been doing better things. Absolutely horrible.
The sesame rolled icecream is amazing..
The drink and crepe I got was awesome
I was on my way to 99 Ranch Market with my kids and we were really excited to see Snowflake as we were craving for some good ice cream. My kids and I love strawberries so we naturally ordered Lady Pink which is strawberry flavored ice cream. Well, the Pink Lady was way too sweet and my kids were high on sugar for the rest of the day. Theres such thing as desserts being too sweet. I hope other items on the menu are better.
Once you try snow flake youll always want to go back.....
I love this store, because their savory food is delicious. Im sad that they cannot have delivery or takeout.
Very good family spot. I did not have a chance to taste the food, but it did look and smell delicious. I had the rolled snow cream. A lovely treat. Pricey, but it is a good spot to stop after checking out the outlets next door.
Best desert ice cream
First of all I have never heard of the rolled ice cream and shaved ice cream. Until my Sister had told me how good it is and i have to try it. Oh man it was so good i couldnt have believed it until I tasted it. Also they put bobo(?) Inside the shaved ice cream and that took it over the top. You got to try it!
Great deserts! We had Oreo ice cream and crepe with strawberries and ice cream, delicious! You can also have savory crepe if you like
Great rolled ice cream. We also tried the spaghetti and Turkey and avocado crepe. They were delicious as well. The kids really enjoyed watching them make the rolled ice cream
It tasted fine and was pretty cool to watch them make the ice cream rolls. Id recommend it, just be aware not every desert there is sweet.
Will provide re-review after a few months. Staffed seemed to be ramping up and getting used to menu and service. We ordered dessert and asked to pick it up after the meal. However, the dessert came with the food we ordered. Tough since dessert was melting and we had to rush through our food.
First time here and I will definitely be coming back! Great for both sweet and savory cravings.
Cute interior, great service and lots of variety. Theyre open pretty late so its nice to get some desserts after shopping and eating all day. Theres rolled ice cream, crepes, shaved ice, and some savory snacks as well.
Flavours of the ice cream/frozen products is not as good as the price suggests. Flavour was not as creamy like other establishments that have the same concept.Service was just ok, youll feel like youre being rushed while ordering but then it takes so.much time for them to have the orders ready even if there were not a lot of customers. No option for smaller size containers. We had to throw away almost half of what we ordered. And there were some items which were out of stock.
They’re pretty moderately priced for the location and quality. i tried the thai tea ice cream rolls and the popcorn chicken. the thai milk tea flavor was pretty accurate, it was pretty sweet but not overwhelming. the popcorn chicken was actually delicious with the seasoning and not over-fried. they have a really wide variety of desserts to choose from and i’ll definitely be back
Amazing crepes! Friendly service and really delicious crepes. Would be nice if they had a better seating arrangement for eating-in, and their WiFi needs improvement. The crepes are five star though
Supposedly the owners of the ones at the Ulfret Center opened this one but its still feels different. This location is more spacious but it feels more like cafeteria food instead of a restaurant. You get in line and order and you get a hockey puck that vibrates when your order is ready. The place where you order and where you pick up your food is the same so expect some bumping.Service was quick (maybe because it was off peak). When its time for your food, one surprise was it came in a to-go paper cup. To me, this ruins the presentation as I was expecting it to be decorative on a plate (like the one in Dublin). The shaved ice and toppings were good but the y over did it with the condense milk.I think it would be better dining experience if this place was operated like a restaurant instead of a cafeteria style but its not a bad place to hang out and eat from paper bowls.
Their sandwiches are really good. The fruit drinks are actual fruit to which caught me by surprise when I drank it (passion fruit +kiwi got me with the tart face). Pretty quick service . I have not gotten a crepe here yet, probably next time though.
A bit pricey for the food quality and person who took our order had to later cancel since they ran out. This was at 1130am in morning! Also be aware if taking young kids, there were racy music videos playing on overhead tv on loop.
Great place for sandwiches, snacks, milk teas, shaved ice desserts... new menu items like baked porkchop rice and curry rice has been added, very happy with these new options, claypot rice will be added soon as well, very much looking forward to that. Food service can take a while if place is packed, seating is limited as well... one unisex bathroom.
While the ice cream was a great experience and fun to watch, the management was overbearing and rude to the employees. We sat for 20 minutes eating our food and ice cream while the manager berated and was very disrespectful of the employees. I have no desire to return and support a restaurant who believes this culture is ok. The staff was very personable and professional. Any other company would be lucky to have these employees!
Light, cool and DELICIOUS! Great service. Will be back. You should go!
Best place for desserts! My first time here and the Cheesecake pudding is already my favorite!
Staff were friendly and kind. The Make Your Own curled ice cream (milk) was good, but over priced for what it is.The showmanship on a ice cold plate to create the curling using spatulas, Liquified cream, and other confections seems more effort than necessary that will likely fade in time.
The ice cream and customer service was great. However, and the reason for one star, the manager/owner was horrible. First he was being extremely rude when an employee was doing the dishes instead of cleaning tables then he started yelling at his employee in front of everyone in the shop.
Crepes are so good here. Unfortunately place does not close @11:00pm they close @10:00pm so their off an hour. Just so you know.
Great rolled ice cream! Went there for dessert after a long day and found it very satisfying.
New item: Japanese style curry rice. Tasty!
I used to frequent Snowflakes when they were still in Ulfert Center up an exit (coming from Castro Valley). There were no better Japanese crepe than theirs on the East Bay. Sadly that has become history. This is the first time we visit since they moved to this new(ish) mall. What happened to their crepes? Where is the crispiness that set them apart? We also ordered the sesame shaved ice, huge mistake! All I tasted was bitterness. The ice, not my heart.
Great desserts. Food is okay, but love the variety of choices
Unique sandwiches and ice cream flavors
Great crepes and tea drinks service very good
No wait. Wasnt sure what to expect with the randomly named drinks. Ordered the dafodil drink, strange but tasty - Id order it again, has a nice pinapple and salty cream taste. Cup with heart stopper is cute too. Had the banana strawberry Nutella crepe which was good as well. Taro drink with tapioca was just so so - wouldnt order that again.
Amazing food, great dessert, a bit pricey though...
Good tea, good ambience, big love for the guava ice
Teas from around the world, nice, nice crepes-sturdy not flabby made right in front of you, diff than dubs honey
Their desserts and flavors are very good! Others say it is pricey, but seeing the prices of all other specialty dessert restaurants, it’s fairly average.
Great Happy Hour snacks and treats.
Great food! Lots of great options!
Good ice cream, good food overall, and good service.
We love it... Really nice place and awesome...
Great flavors and generous amounts.
Quite good gathering place with desert.
Portions are way to big. I can not consume that much. I wish thry offered smaller sizes.
Lovely place
Nice place to hang out for desserts.
Delicious and unique ice cream and deserts!
A little on the expensive side but the shaved ice is really good and its a pretty big portion really enough for two
Dont think its worth the money. No place to sit when busy.
Is awesome, the food and the place is perfect
Nice, a little pricey!
Nice place and good food
Okay food. Too much wait.
Now with baked rice...
Great ice cream
Delicious. Love it.
Best dessert in the world
Pricey and yummy
Nice and clwan
Overpriced.
Its just okay
Delicious
So disappointing!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
