Best ice cream I’ve ever had! Very soft and creamy and is not too icy at all! You also have the choice to either go through drive through and grab it or buy the ice cream from the stand. The prices are cheap, and the costumer service is marvelous! Though the line for both drive through and pick up from the stand can be a little long sometimes, but it really just shows how wonderful they’re ice cream truly is. Absolutely scrumptious!🍦😋❤️

Yummy, creamy soft serve ice cream! 🍦 You could taste the quality. It was a treat after a long hike! The line is long but moves really fast. I tried the orangecicle but it was a bit tart as are the fruit flavors. I plan to order choc and vanilla next time. Vanilla was excellent.

This place is amazing! They have the best dole whip for cheap prices!! They have a beautiful cactus wall and nice employees. The line may be long but it is very quick and efficient. I love taking my friends and family here. The orange flavor is the best!

Ice cream is delicious. You can drive through for an attendant to come to your car get your order and deliver it. You can also walk to the order window for your order. In addition to ice cream they have dairy and some snack items for purchase.

Great icecream! I like sticking to the classics of vanilla or chocolate. My wife will try the other flavors that are tasty too. Anytime we are in the area we always try to swing by before heading home. They even sell bread and milk here. I’d skip out on the banana milk though.

I got the large vanilla/strawberry. I loved the vanilla part but the strawberry was too sour/tarty for my taste. Its a nice place to make a quick ice cream stop. I love that they have a drive thru. Will come back for more!

Visit every weekend, Orange/Strawberry is good. Chocolate is not sweet, I like it. They always give my extra corn so I could share with my kids. Very nice and very efficient store. Its worthy for waiting.

If you need any reason to visit Pleasanton, Meadowlark Dairy might be one of them.The absolute best treat is their Soft Serve, which can and should be ordered with a Swirl. Vanilla and Chocolate Swirl is the classic combination, but here you cannot go wrong. The soft serve was astoundingly milky and smooth from the first lick. Remember to order a large for only 50 cents more. If you don’t think you’ll be able to finish it, I assure you one taste is all you need to change your mind.Besides the amazing soft serve, I really appreciated the service here. Drive in is a convenient option, but even walking in is pretty fast. After you line up, the staff will come and take your order while you wait. The whole process feels super streamlined since they have multiple people taking orders concurrently.

So good! I love soft-serve and Meadowlark is some of the best I’ve had. Almost had a custard-like texture rather than the traditional soft-serve you find elsewhere. We had the chocolate/vanilla swirl and the vanilla/strawberry swirl. The chocolate/vanilla was so good and creamy and was definitely our favorite. Strawberry/vanilla was good but the strawberry was a little on the icy side so the texture wasn’t exactly what we were looking for.

Ive been wanting to go here for so long and finally made it happen on my way back from Yosemite. There was a long line of cars and humans (they do both drive thru and walk up) but dont be deterred! They have people out taking your order it went so fast! The soft serve was creamy and delicious and Ill be back to try the next seasonal flavor (they have Pineapple for the summer)

Great place if you crave for soft-serve. Always crowded but line moves fast. They will come to you in line to ask your order and will deliver and let you pay there. Very reasonably priced.Standard flavors vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. Seasonal flavors available too like pineapple. Many vegan options too.Parking available only on streets around the park across since its joint in downtown.

I highly recommend the vanilla ice cream here! Super creamy and delicious. The small cone is just enough. Took me over 30 minutes to eat the large. You can either line up in person or wait in line in your car. A server will come out and help you. Theyre pretty fast so the wait isnt long.

Don’t know what to call it… is it Pleasanton’s love affair with soft serve or maybe Pleasanton’s happy place. Don’t come here just for ice cream… pick up that oversized swirly, stroll over to the park and be lazy. Or be lazy in your car with AC at full blast… have the kids walk over and serve you that $2 slushy. Ask for an extra cone or a cup or napkins and they will give with all happiness. They definitely serve more than ice cream… milk, eggs, bread, corn flakes, ice cream bars… and don’t forget you can get that 5 pound bag of dry ice for just 5 bucks… cheapest I have seen around!

Meadowlark is more than a soft serve ice cream parlor, it is a part of the history and fabric of Pleasanton. Third and fourth generations of the same families can be found there as are generations of high school and summer college kids who have worked there. It is more than a treat. It is reliving the summers of a simpler hometown that we all wanted, even if we didn’t get to live it in our youth.

Favorite ice cream place ever since I was a kid. It can get pretty busy but they have great service. Every flavor and combo is delicious. If you dont want to get out of the car they even have a drive thru.

You won’t be disappointed, great atmosphere. Nice park across the street. Live music outside. First time here will definitely be back in the near future. Car parking is down the street on the right side through an ally way. You’ll see the sign next to the old fire house.

The teams is on point, service is quick and friendly. Great to see this summer favorite so busy. For those unfamiliar with the car line etiquette, there are 2 in opposing positions, and yes, you can wait a few minutes sometimes. Remember that youre there to get ice cream, its a happy occasion. So if your ice cream is ready before the guy in front of you, just be like the delicious ice cream and chill. Theres no need to run over cones to get home sooner 😉🍦

Gonna be honest, this place is a little overrated. Yes, they have good cheap ice cream, but its nothing to write home about. The drive thru is convenient for sure, and good ice cream is good ice cream!

Got the pineapple and vanilla swirl and it was very reminiscent of Dole whip from Hawaii (and Disney Tiki rooms). Great texture and flavors! They also had a drive-through option, although my friends and I enjoyed ours at the nearby park.

We love the soft serve ice cream so much so we drove from San Francisco. I enjoyed the vanilla and orange swirl while my wife enjoys the chocolate and vanilla. I would like for them to carry pomegranate I keep forgetting to suggest it. We love this drive up ice cream shop.

I will admit I saw Instagram posts of this place and the soft serve and it made me want to go. I took the family on a warm summer Saturday afternoon. I was a little worried the line would be too long. Maybe we lucked out but the drive thru line was about 6 cars. The line for walk up was a bit longer maybe about 8 groups. The drive thru was pretty well organized. They had about 4 or 5 people working to take orders. So they took your order before you get up to the building. They go in prepare your items then bring you your order to your car and collect payment. I got a Medium Strawberry/Pineapple swirl. It was delicious. My son got chocolate, my wife got Strawberry. We were all very happy with our choices. I will definitely stop by again next time we are in the area. I want to see the other items in the store. It is definitely Instagram worthy.

A couple buddies of mine worked there while we were in high school. Lots of memories!Staff are young high school age and are very positive and friendly. This place is all hype. Its fun to drive up and get some ice cream. Ill give them that. I think its the location or small town institution/tradition because its not the quality of service or ice cream that draws you there. Most of the kids who work there are respectful and lack customer service experience as you might expect. But the quality and consistency of their ice cream is underwhelming. Its powdered flavors so you can expect poor quality and everytime Ive been there they were out of most of their flavors. Its been disappointing each time. Flavor Brigade on Main St. has far better quality and variety. Dont waste your time here.

Our family took us to this dairy in Pleasanton, Ca on Sat afternoon to get a soft serve ice cream!!! It is a hopping place. Upon approach there was a line of cars about a block long...and children everywhere...families walking toward the little dairy just adjacent to a lovely, shady park. There was a walk up line as well as drive thru line! There were teenagers so cute walking up and taking the orders!There were several flavors offered. The kids dont write anything down...and remember the entire family of 6 order! It was fun, and a festive...old fashion feeling experience! If in the area, worth a detour!

We went here two days in a row while in town visiting friends. It’s a great place to go for desert after a meal downtown. Both the drive-up line and the walk-up lines can get busy, but the staff works hard to get through the lines quickly. So, don’t let a long line discourage you. Bothe drive through and pick up line was very busy during our visit at 5pm of Friday evening. Pick up a large cone of orange/vanilla swirl for $3.50 and it’s was awesome.
