The worst customer service. I am sorry that I did business with them. The first time they came with the wrong blinds.The second time they sent 2 installers and one would not wear a mask. They installed two custom blinds and one is off by about 3 off to one side. When you pull the blind you can see the window. I have been caling them for weeks trying to get the blind reinstalled. They were pressuring us to sign off and give them a good review. I would not recommend. Still waiting for a proper install.

I ordered Graber solar shades for my kitchen from Bay Home and Window through an offer from Costco. I had prior experience with Bay Home and Window when they installed shutters in my home and I was always pleased with the product quality and workmanship. However, this time was quite a different story. When my solar shades arrived they were not measured correctly, a factory defect was found in two of the solar shades, and very poor installation job. I was very upset and called my salesperson from Bay Home and Window to find out how to rectify the situation. Before too long I had a call from customer service with a promise that someone could come out the next day to look at the solar shades. Fred, came to our house and agreed that the solar shades looked terrible and needed to be replaced. Bay Home and Window promised a quick turn around for their mistake. Three weeks later, the replacement solar shades arrived and Robert Averilla, a senior installer, came to our home and did a remarkable job of installing the replacement solar shades and showed us how to operate them. I gave Bay Home and Window a 4 star rating because of how they corrected the situation. I know it would have been ideal to have had everything perfect the first time, but credit Bay Home and Window for how they worked to make me a happy customer.

We booked a free no obligation consultation through Costco, but they were so effective with their presentation that we were sold. Parker was very knowledgable and made us feel very comfortable with our choices. We are looking forward to seeing the final product.

We bumped Bay Home & Window at Costco roadshow. As were looking for a trustworthy and professional company to change blinds of our whole home; we thought of trying out Bay Home & Window. Brandon came to our home for consultation. He was very patience, professional and knowledgeable in showing us the options. They have the right balance of not overwhelming us with loads of options but at the same time, based on our requirements, they have many options to choose from. He answered our queries. We did not find him pushy; rather helped us in estimating various options before we finalized. We have ordered blinds for our whole home. Will update my experience once the installation is complete. Cherry on top is that they are local and all products are Made in U.S.A. and they have lifetime warranty for the blinds we ordered.

Very poor customer service! We got a new house and ordered services from bay home and Windows for plantation shutters in May. We were promised shutter installation by first week of September but have not heard anything back, till now. They have poor customer care team who have no idea about the order and never return the calls. Our project manager left the organization with our project hanging by a thread. Havent received any updates even.Wouldnt recommend to anyone. They come with big words and leave with extremely poor service!!

I had a great experience working with Parker and his team. He was patient as we chose coverings and needed to wait until the remaining of our construction project was done. My shades came quicker than expected and the installer was ready earlier than expected. I would definitely recommend them.

Fifteen years ago we bought custom wood shutters throughout our home from Bay Home and Window. We had a great experience and our shutters still look great. Recently we remodeled our closet and had them back to create a custom closet. I had no idea how much we could love a closet. Everyone at Bay Home and Window was easy to work with they helped us figure out the design and utilized every inch of our odd sized space. From appointment scheduling to installation everyone was very professional and exceeded our expectations.

Just got our cellular shades installed and it was just want we needed! Finally, we can block out the sun that is just merciless this time of year. I can tell the quality is superb and install was painless. We had originally ordered light filtering shades and then discovered that it still made the rooms too bright. Bay Home made it easy and affordable to reorder the replacements. They really want us to enjoy our home. Thank you Bay Home & Windows! Kudos to Parker (sales/designer) and Eric for seamless install.

From the first encounter with the sales rep all the way to the installers everyone went above and beyond. Great follow thru. Great communication. The fact that this product is 100% American made was also a huge plus for me. An established company that has been around for many years with a great reputation for quality. Yeah there are cheaper ways to go but like they say, you get what you pay for. I will not have to even think about my window coverings again for many many years.

I recently ordered new faux wood blinds to replace old aluminum blinds and I have to say, what a huge difference it makes! I love the way it looks in my living room and dining/kitchen areas. I hesitated to get the bedroom blinds replaced, but after seeing how nice it turned out, I immediately called my designer and told him I wanted to get the ones in the bedroom replaced as well. The installation was quick and installer made sure that all blinds were working well. One minor detail, the valances were cut incorrectly as they ended up being longer than the inside measurement. Fortunately, the installer had the handy tools and was able to cut it down to the correct measurement. The blinds are simply of high-grade quality, solid, and has a great look and feel to it. I am certainly enjoying the look of my home now, thanks to Bay Home & Window! I highly recommend them for their great quality work and service. Thank you to Rick Mark (Designer) and Gabriel (Installer) for providing over-the-top service.

Just got a shutter and blinds installed through Costco from Bay Home. The final product and installation are excellent: They are beautiful and sturdy and the installation takes not much time. The price is good. But the main reason for me is the warranty; for life.If there is an improvement, I would suggest about the communication and timing. The estimation time from the start to finish is not quite precised. But I understand that the company has to order the product and then install it. So its not entirely controllable.The thing is I have to call Bay Home to get that information, in stead of them calling me: I believe the company is really busy. Overall, I would recommend Bay Home for anyone who wants shutters and blinds. They have many styles and different materials.

Our ocean facing windows are 96 wide. It was difficult to find motorized blinds. The Cellular Shades are ideal. 20 degrees cooler yesterday. The programs run like clockwork. Unless you enjoy uninstalling, then reinstalling countless times log out of Graber Virtual Cord app before closing. Give the uplink to the WiFi emitter a good 20mins to both mount and upload your settings. After that things run smoothly. I must say the electric motors sound similar to a diesel struggling up a hill. Noisy but you at least know it works!

- update -Owner reached out after I shared my experience online. More frequent followups were conducted since then and we eventually had installation done in June.- original post -We ordered window treatment back in Dec and had a lot of trouble with the payment plan. After multiple phone calls and escalation to management it finally got resolved. Estimated delivery/installation was March. Came March we didnt hear anything from them. I called only to be told its been delayed to April. Absolutely no communication whatsoever from this company regarding the progress or delay. Promised followup never materialized. Seems like they are only interested in taking your money, providing quality service to customer is nobodys concern or priority.

Love the sliding panels on our slider! We chose a heaver treatments for the bedrooms to block out more light. My son is literally taking longer naps during the day in his darker room! I highly recommend them, super informative estimate appointment and final product is perfect!

We have loved working with Bay Home and Window. When we moved to our new, own home I really wasnt looking forward to trips to Ikea, Walmart and the likes to buy furniture (like Master Bedroom Closet, TV and entertainment center) for 1: quality, 2: time we had to spend grappling with the instructions, 3: efficiency of storage utilization.Bay Home and Window worked with us on designs (following all Covid-19 safety protocols), the back-and-forth as we spent time critiquing the designs, all the while to make sure they understood the problems we were trying to solve and that they could creatively help us figure the solutions out. Where it didnt make sense from a cost perspective they called it out as well (so definitely no tacking on unnecessary add-ons).The timelines were well established and the workers would also efficiently go about their work. The outcome of all the furniture work makes our house a home that gives us happiness and peace!

We have been involved with a home renovation and addition for more than two years (three phases and living in the home during the construction). All of our living spaces windows have been replaced with Graber shades or cellular blinds. We LOVE the style, colors, features, and ease of care. The designers we worked with were excellent and sensitive to our wants--but not reluctant to make suggestions to consider. The installers were very efficient, prompt, and courteous. We couldnt be more pleased!

Worst experience and terrible quality! To start off the company sent a typical sales man to our home to seal the deal and I knew then to not proceed.However, my husband I proceeded and our shutters arrived 1.5 months late after their original delivery date! When the shutters arrived one section of large window was damaged. According to the driver, he picked up the shutters damaged which had been approved by their quality tech! He supported us in rejecting the one section of shutters, in which we were promised by their quality manager it was an honest mistake and would expedite the last section. Well it took another 1.5 months to build and complete the last section. Never never never going back to Bay home and window.

We had a wonderful experience with the order and installation of our Graber window coverings, we love our new shades and the quality. From the Zoom meeting with Elizabeth Branch, the designer who was very good and got everything down so accurately, to Mike Wilson, the installer who did a great job! Plus, the windows came much earlier than scheduled and we were happy. Well surely recommend you to our friends and family should they need window treatment!

Jeff provided great service on the install and worked quickly and efficiently to complete our shutters. He puts a lot of care into his work. Sales team were friendly as well. We found these folks through Livermore Costco and are happy we did. There was a wait for the completion as this was a custom job, but they provided paper blinds in interim. Price was reasonable as well. Great bay area company!

I had such a great experience with Bay Home & Window. My shutters were installed last week & I love them! It brings so much life to my place! My designer was Jarrod & he was awesome! He was very informative about the whole process, he did the correct measurements, & he even brought different samples of shutters for me to look at. The person who installed my shutters was Jesse & he did such an amazing job! He kept me informed about his arrival time & he even arrived at my place earlier than scheduled, which was great! He came fully prepared with what was needed to complete the project, including wearing the proper protective equipment such as a mask, gloves, & shoe covers due to Covid-19. Jesse even had hand sanitizer attached to his belt! He was very friendly, polite & he knew what he was doing. He was able to finish my installation in 2 1/2 hrs, which was awesome! (My appointment was originally scheduled for 3-4 hrs.)Thank you so much to everyone at Bay Home & Window! I couldnt have had a better experience. I highly recommend this company as well as Jarrod & Jesse. Thank you again!

We have two garage cabinets, one occupying half a wall, and we are very happy with them both. They look great and hold all our stuff. The installation went without a hitch and the installers were very efficient and cleaned up the area and floor after they were done..The company was recommended to us by our son who also has their garage cabinets.A couple of accessory items were not delivered with the cabinets but this was sorted out to my satisfaction afterwards.

Extremely frustrated by having to make literally DOZENS of emails and phone calls to get things resolved. More than a year later, they never did provide the compensatory payment they promised after all the trouble.Shutters and shades turned out fine (after multiple replacements), but werent worth the enormous hassle.

Update: Got a call from the president of the company apologizing for the miscommunication on the install date, it is impressive how they value customers and strive to meet their expectation. Will update once the installation is done.Terrible !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cant vent my frustrations here enough. Its been about two months since the first time we got the process started, from scheduling appointment, to have the designer come to our home, drafter appointment, and yet we havent got the window shades treatment done still. Im appalled by the worst customer service. Wish there was a way to put in negative stars.

I was very pleased with Bay Home and Window from start to finish with my home project. From the initial phone call, to the final installation, they were professional all the way. The design consultant who came to my home was extremely helpful. He helped me choose the right materials, and kept it within a reasonable price range. The gentleman who installed the shutters (Miguel) was incredibly skilled, efficient and neat - he truly takes pride in his work. And, I love the final product - it makes my home look fabulous! I highly recommend Bay Home and Window - they have a great selection of materials, and skilled professionals who know their craft. They will be my company of choice for my next home project - a built-in entertainment center.

Our experience was horrible. We waited 3 months for one curtain for a bedroom window. On the specified delivery date, which Bay Home & Window had set itself, no curtains arrived.We gave Bay Home & Window 2 more days. Then, frustrated that no curtain had arrived and not so much as a call or apology email, we called the company. We spoke to the President Jeff Falcon and he told us that the company was experiencing a high volume of orders so they were having a hard time delivering the products on time. We asked for some sort of compensation, but he didnt give so much as an apology. He just said the company was just too busy to deliver many of its products on time.He said the curtains would be delivered in another 3 weeks. They werent.3 and a half weeks later we had to call again to ask for an update. At this point, we just wanted the curtain and wanted to be done with this company forever. We finally got the curtains delivered a few weeks later. At least the quality of the curtains matched what we expected. Thats what got this company 1 star.Their customer service is TERRIBLE.Their punctuality is PATHETIC.Told all my friends and relatives to never order from this business. I strongly recommend the same to everyone else if you want your curtains delivered anywhere near on time.Highly disappointed in Bay Home & Window.

Bad experience. Their designer was supposed to show up at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. They called a couple of days before that and confirmed the appointment. However, he did not show up, and did not call either. After waiting for about an hour, I called their office number, but it went into voicemail. I had to leave a message. Finally someone called me Monday afternoon to apologize and re-schedule. But it was too late. My wife and I had already decided to give the business to a different company that even has open showrooms on Saturdays and Sundays. This is the type of business that a lot of the work gets done on the weekends, however, it seems to me these people do not give a damn about the customers and therefore do not have anyone available for problem solving on the weekends. I will not do business with a company that has such an attitude towards customers.

Once the order was placed with the designer and the money paid, the experience turned extremely unprofessional.I would not get any updates on my order. The designer had mentioned 4-6 weeks of lead time so I wasnt expecting anything too early. However, the person making the call to setup the appointments is extremely unprofessional (and almost sounded bored of her job). The first attempt was made about 6 weeks after the order was placed - but the installer forgot to bring the right type of ladder to install it above the stairs. He also left all the temporary blinds (paper) all over the floor. Most professionals I have worked with clean up at the end of their job. I would have thought he would come back the next day with the right ladder and finish it. BUT... nobody called back. It needed another appointment and I had to chase the company to find out about my appointment. The second attempt was made 2 weeks later and this time the blind itself was wrong. The cord for the blind above the stairs was too short to operate. I double-checked the order. The designer had specifically marked the cord to be longer.Overall - a very bad experience.PS: I had ordered through Costco Partner program.

After numerous calls, texts and emails to have me confirm the appt for Graber shades plus giving them a 30 min window due to Bay Area traffic (the appt was Sat mid-day) the person was a no show after 45 mins. She did call after I called to cancel and ask to speak to a manager saying she was running another 30-45 mins late. She did call earlier but didn’t leave a VM on my cell. The manager did call back within 30-45 mins after my initial call. I’m giving them a second chance, if they have the product we are interested in, only because the manager had the courtesy to call back so soon especially on a Saturday and they do have a decent rating on Google. Update: Operations manager called Monday as the other manager on Saturday promised to check whether Graber had the shades we wanted. I’m impressed with Bay Home& Window Management team and will give them 5 stars. The appt thing was frustrating especially having to wait over a month and then find out our window is too wide for the shade we want

We had such a wonderful experience with getting our new window shades for our house. They are local to bay area. Parker is super helpful, patient and a great designer with experienced perspective. He is an absolute expert, helped us find the right shades that we wanted, and was super insightful on the nuances. Highly recommend.
