This is my second time here, and the service has been great. However, I would also like to mention my experience from the last time, which was 4 months ago. I drove out without confirming the miles and fuel level, but immediately realized that the fuel was one step lower than what was indicated in the contract. I drove right back in, and the associate at the counter happily added a fuel credit immediately. On return, I had over-filled the fuel by one step, and they added a further credit towards that without me even mentioning it. I really appreciate any business that tries to make their money honestly.

Service here is great. All the employees Ive encountered have been really down to earth and nice. Sometimes online it will say certain sized trucks arent available for rent but if you call in they usually have them. Rented UHaul truck from them twice in 2 weeks for moving large furniture for a business.

First we rented Uboxes online at a specific location it was not until the day before we were told that our boxes were waiting way out of our way. Then we schedule for the boxes to come out at 8am...it is 12:00noon and they are not out yet. First they could not find our boxes, then they were completely apart under other boxes. After they found us we waited another 20/30 minutes...no boxes We tried to to talk to the woman in charge of boxes (after she talked to a truck driver) and she completely ignored us. She heard us because she just told us to move our van. I got out to let her know to not ignore us and she told me to not come up at her like that...I said excuse me you cant ignore us, just because she did not know I was there until i spoke does not mean I came up on her (whatever that means). The staff in the front office said they could not do anything because she was the boss. With a boss like that running the biz, I wonder how one survives. The front office people were very kind. I dont care if its busy or not...a boss in a service related business should never ignore a customer. They should say, Im sorry, Ill be right there.

Fast, friendly, and as ways, charge way too much for mileage. Otherwise, great way to rent a moving truck to have a party in!

Works extremely well for me for a 24 hour van rental that I drove 400 miles. I left with keys about 9 minutes after my pick up time and I left my car in their lot overnight trouble free. Clean, bright, well stocked with product and quick competent help both out and in. I drove from Bayside because trucks were unavailable near me.

Ive used Uhaul several times before over the past few decades. Its always been a good experience. However, with a confirmed booking made 10 days ago and less that 24 hours before my truck pickup time, they canceled my booking.When I called and explained this was going to cost me $1,000s of dollars not to mention the time and inconvenience, customer service offered me $50. They offered no other solution. I now have less have 24 hours to deal with finding another truck, returning rented equipment, explaining to the new owners expecting to be moving into our just sold house and figure out what to do with the hired moving crew. Im shocked Uhaul is so unreliable. I dont know how Im going to finish this move.Its clear they cant be trusted if you are on any kind of timeline. I wouldnt recommend them.

Clean, modern vehicles available on short notice. Friendly, fun staff. Didnt like the $25 cleaning charge upon return for what I felt was expected and normal dirt on floormats and truck bed.

Largest, cleanest, and easiest check-in experience Ive ever had with U-haul.

It seems all Uhauls over estimate the about of gas by at least a quarter be sure you check it closely. 3 time and 3 incorrect gas estimate.

Went here to get hitch installed, pretty easy process, took a reasonableamountof time. Clean, felt safe social distancing in line. Seemed a little understaffed, but it may have just been a busy time.

Best U-Haul location Ive ever used. When you call to see if they have something specific available, youll get an accurate answer. Nothing worse than showing up to pick something up and its not there, which can happen too often when trying to book U-Haul online; I always call to verify. Very helpful staff, forgiving of your sometimes-complicated schedule, when plans fall through and you need to cancel at the last minute.

One of the employees keeps locking the door around 7pm so you can’t gain access 10pm is when it’s supposed to be locked one of the reasons I pay 200$ a month was to have access till 10 pm

Various box sizes, all packaging materials like tape, bubble wraps, mattress covers, Etc is available. We hired a 9 feet truck for the movement. Well maintained, clean and good conditioned truck. But for 2 queen size mattresses and 2 box type stands, we had to run two trips. The truck is good for a studio.

The place is clean and well lit with plenty of carts to help move your items. Diane (Diana?) was super friendly, funny and helpful

Very nice people but made me wait 45 minutes to access my UBox, which I scheduled 24 hours prior. Terribly understaffed. Apparently they get that complaint all the time but management doesn’t care.

Poor service. I was forced to answer 20 questions (for example, what is the weight limit of the hitch on your vehicle? Answer: I dont know, but I have rented this kind of trailer before. Clerk: Not good enough. You should know the weight limit if you have done this before!!) All I wanted to know is if they had a specific trailer for rent, but I couldnt find out unless I answered all questions in full. Clerk: We had to follow procedure. How do these people stay in business??

Awful customer service (Erika or Erica), need my boxes delivered on weekend and there is absolutely no drivers on weekends. A moving company that doesn’t deliver your stuff on weekends is a joke. Not only they don’t deliver it on weekends but you have to schedule a weekday delivery and wait for a call from their only driver to confirm what time they would deliver it, the driver will call you the same day of the deliver to confirm the deliver and time with you, you have absolutely no time to plan your day. UBox is a good concept run by incompetent people and company. Folks do yourselves a favor and pay a a real moving company, much less headache! Now I have to figure out how to get my 3 boxes back since their customer service is close to useless!

Be careful renting anything - charges for additional months rental even when items returned and then takes no responsibility for investigating and crediting for over charge. Abe doesnt return calls and simply just refers/transfers you to different parts of Uhaul. Shady business practices at this facility - just be careful and check your statements and dont rely on the management at Sunol facility to provide anything less than poor customer service.

Best uhaul Ive ever been to. And Im a mover Ive seen a lot. All trucks are clean and many are brand new. Staff is the best!

Came at my scheduled time of 10am on a Saturday to pick up a 10ft truck and my UHaul box, there was only one guy there taking orders and moving equipment himself. While I thank the guy who was doing his best, I’m upset at the management that didn’t have someone else on hand to help ease the wait times. I waited 30 mins behind 4 people, when it should have been taken care of in under 10 mins

Terrible service, store cant/wont communicate with other parts of the company, they seem cut off from all other parts of Uhaul. Staff is rude and unhelpful. Wont ever use them for anything ever again and will tell everyone I know to do the same.
