We went to the showroom and picked out a tile we loved. After it arrived via special order 3 weeks later, it looked way different than the tile we saw in the showroom. MSI said “yeah sorry we switched suppliers recently so it’s going to be different” … they didn’t even care and still had the old tile in their showroom. Obviously we returned it since it no longer worked. Now our schedule for the remodel is backed up and we have to find a new tile to order since they don’t keep updated samples in their showroom. Don’t bother wasting your time here!

This is easily the best granite distributor in the twin cities, very organized, professional, courteous any absolutely easy to work with. They made the entire experience completely painless. I would recommend them to anyone .

I worked with Christi Carlson at the Plymouth, MN location. I know I was likely irritating her, but I had my heart set on the slab I saw posted online at her location. She was so determined to make me happy she never quit! OMG I am on cloud 9 because of her. All the way home yesterday I was smiling and saying how she did everything in her power to make me happy and succeeded, as I am THRILLED!I wanted to write a review on Christi, as she has exceptional CUSTOMER SERVICE…She WANTS to make the customer happy and she didn’t quit…She is a complete rock star in my eyes and I feel you, MSI need to know that! She is customer service at its finest...…that is hard to find now a days and she rocked it! We have utlilized MSI for several projects and have always been happy with the quality of their product. They have ample options in their showroom and a friendly staff, and are easy to work with.

We came out here to pick a quartz product countertop. It’s a large warehouse so don’t expect a showroom. That’s okay, though, as the attention our advisor ((Christi) gave us helped navigate and narrow down to three possibilities. This might not look like a big difference but it is!

All I can say is WOW! My first experience yesterday started with a very thorough and diligent intake process for safety of all employees and customers. Then the customer service was amazing and very helpful, while still allowing me time to walk around and look at several products, all while checking on me to ask if I had any questions.The facility has too many samples and displays to count, starting with the front entrance area and then into the enormous back warehouse space.They take safety very seriously: I was approached by 2 workers, and saw 2 more workers in the back who each went out of their way to come to me and other customers to make sure we were clear of danger when they were moving the 1200 pound slabs overhead with the impressive cabling system!This will be my FIRST stop the next time I have any similar product needs, as Im sure they will have what I need, and will minimize the need to run around to several stores!!

First venture at looking at full sized stone slabs for countertops as an upgrade to our laminate past. Place is well laid out. Choices are overwhelming. Broad selection of stone material for countertops, backsplashs, shower walls and flooring. Received great support and guidance from sales staff. Christie was most helpful and really made us feel welcomed and valued. You need to have an installer/contractor in mind to register for reviewing their products. Looking at full slabs is much better than small sample squares. They have a online visualizer utilizing a picture of your room that was helpful prior to and after our visit. MSI Minneapolis has an awesome showroom... its a one stop shop! We were looking for Quartz counter-top - they had a large variety from which to choose. Had a wonderful experience ... helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly staff members who are very accommodating. I highly recommend them.

We were so excited about msi. Staff was great and very professional. Ordered stacked stone from them thinking we wanted a quality product for our fireplace. Picked up stone, unpacked the stone and found that over half of it had glue exposed on the front of the tiles. We had to chip it off. Bought finished corners for a quality look. Corners were terrible. Very few of them had a 90° angle.so disappointed in the quality control!

Gorgeous showroom! So many beautiful products (quartz, floor tile and backsplash is what we went in for). Staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming.

My fabricator informed me that the granite I had chosen for our new construction was unable to be imported due to Covid. He suggested I go into MSI to pick out a new counter top and Christy greeted me and walked me through the entire process. I was in and out in 20 minutes and happier with my new selection than the original choice. She was super knowledgeable on the Calacutta line I had opted to use and gave me a variety of options to choose from. I was very impressed with the entire process and will absolutely return to MSI for future counter top needs.

Bad customer service. I was told on the phone we could return some unused product, new in the box. I bring it to the warehouse, and the ops mgr in the warehouse states it isnt returnable because theres a little bit of sheetrock dust on the outside of the package. He enjoyed making it difficult. Dont expect any reasonable outcomes, or help, after the sale.

I really enjoyed my time spent at MSI picking granite slabs for a new build! Rochelle was very helpful & sweet! The gentleman pulling slabs for me to view was courteous & helpful as well! Im so happy to have finally found the slabs Ive been looking for for a year! The right slab will make your heart sing! If not, you havent found the right one yet. 🤗

Christi Carlson assisted me with making a selection for the bath in my home. She was delightful and very knowledgeable about the inventory. She has an incredible sense of design and showed me options that I would never have thought of on my own. I decided to go with a quartz option that she presented and I am very happy.

These guys supply stone to affordable granite in Hopkins, MN. Affordable sent us to MSI to select the quartz countertop for kitchen and bathroom vanity. We found a beautiful quartz slab, returned to Affordable and paid to secure this quartz slab for our project. We were in the beginning of a full house restoration due to a flood. When it came time to schedule the install after measuring the MSI guys fell off the face of the earth. We had to track the installer down and at that point he said we couldn’t set up an exact time to install our counters because they “over sold” the quartz we paid for months earlier. The quartz is now back ordered and we don’t even know when we can get it. We were to be back in our home by January 29th. We were told that we aren’t even able to set up an install appointment before January 31st. This is the worst customer service ever. In my opinion these guys just don’t care. I’d recommend looking elsewhere for a reliable place for stone that doesn’t oversell their product, or sell it out from under you. Very dissatisfied. 🤬👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

We had a interesting time picking out our granite slab for our countertops. The people there are extremely helpful and informative. What beautiful selections they have available. Well worth the drive to get exactly what you want.

They have an amazing selection of natural stone slabs and an excellent quartz countertop showroom. It only takes minutes to have a slab pulled from inventory and placed in front of you! They have an incredibly efficient process!

The selection of stone slabs is one of the largest in the Twin Cities. Service and experience is one of MSIs strong points. I highly recommend MSI as one of the top stops when searching for granite, quartz and marble slabs for your next project.

Let me be the first to tell you...Children are NOT allowed in showroom. Found this out the hard way because it is NOT listed or posted anywhere. Had we known, obviously we wouldn’t have made the 30 minute drive down and brought our kids. Made it impossible to look at things with my spouse. Failure!!!

Didnt ship out all slabs to fabricator. Need 3 and ordered 3 yet only shipped out 2. Had to move out install date and layout for kitchen granite install. MSI isnt super easy to work with from a customer service stand point as the end consumer.However good selection.....

This place rules; you should absolutely select your stone, quartz, tile and LVT here.

We purchased floor tile and when the shipment arrived over half of the tile was damaged. We wanted to work with MSI to resolve the issue in order to keep our home project on track. Jason who we have been working was extremely slow to respond to our concerns and when he finally did, he acted like he was doing us a favor. After looking at the damaged tile he informed us he would follow back up with a call the same day to let us know how MSI was going to handle this situation. After numerous emails and phone calls we have still not received any follow-up..... now it is causing us delays in the project and money out of our pocket.I must say that this is some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I would caution all buyers to be cautious if purchasing from MSI.

My husband (Michael) and I came to MSI after having a couple of harrowing experiences with the company that was helping us to remodel our kitchen and adjacent areas. We were nervous to the point of paranoia on the morning that we pulled in at MSI. But from the minute we stepped into the entrance/reception area, we knew we were dealing with professionals who paid attention to all the details. We registered on a computer at the reception desk. A ten minute guided tour of the facility followed. Three or four employees helped us during the following ninety minutes or so, and all were extraordinary in terms of knowledge, communication, and efficiency. It was very important to us that we get to look at and touch a specific piece of brushed granite that day, and even though we were informed that the last piece of that substance in the building had recently been sold, it was brought to us (meaning that a huge sheet of granite was moved across the ceiling of the building and lowered to eye level) and a workman who could answer any questions came along with it. We got great peace of mind from that visit, and I cannot overstate how grateful we were that wed gone all the way to Plymouth from River Falls in pouring rain that morning just to lay hands on one slab of granite. If mistakes are made during our remodel, were feeling pretty sure they wont be made by MSI.
