Terrible experience, I am having issues with the fit of the contact lenses that I purchased from Summit.When I requested to have my preferred brand of contact lenses added to my prescription so I can order them from another provide I was told absolutely not since they are not sold at Summit.My preferred contacts are sold Costco but not at Summit, so they refuses to add them to my prescription.I am very angry and will be filing a complaint with the state board.

I get my childrens glasses here frequently. Lisa and Alex have always been so kind and extremely helpful. Because of them I havent and wont go anywhere else for glasses. My husband has had eye exams here and those went great as well.

The dr here is amazing and so kind and helpful! He makes sure you feel comfortable and answers any and all questions you have! Thank you summit eye care💜

I had an awesome experience at Summit. Everyone was very friendly and they treated me very well. It had been a while since I had an exam and they explained what each test was for. The doctor was very personable as he reviewed my situation. As it turned out, I didnt need glasses! Its comforting to know that they are more interested in helping people than selling eyeglasses.

WORST EYE CAR EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Last year they made me and my kids wait 6 hours to be seen. My appointment was at 11am. My kids were finally seen just before they closed at 5pm. We watched MANY MANY people go in and were taken great care of. I feel because my kids are on medicaid they were prejudice against us. Now this year, I set up appointments again to give them another chance. Due to unforeseen events. I called to cancel the appointment a week in advance and now being charged $40 per cancellation. I was even willing to reschedule but still being charged. Im done with the stupid Dr there. Im done with the rude staff. WORST EYE CARE EVER! Ive called the BBB. Never again. This is not even worth the 1 star I gave.

I am new to the area and this office is close by. The doctor was very helpful and explained a lot of what he was doing. He was very personable. I found the office staff quite friendly and helpful.

Waiting for my lenses for more than a month and every time they come up with new excuse.The keep blaming their lab every time I call or visit them.I think if I ordered a car from china, I would have received it on my door way earlier than that.The star I gave u is only for the doctor for being nice to my daughter.Other thing, I bought a pair of lenses through my insurance for $200. Only for the lenses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!My wife bought a glasses with the lenses for 270 and the price for the glasses without lenses for $209..!!!!!!!!Is that mean she got the lenses for $61 and mine for $200 with less options????? That is so stupid. I need attorney to figure out whats going on.

They said they couldnt find me on my husbands insurance and that was that, I had to call the insurance and check and had to reschedule my appointment for the next year, I was very upset. When I did go to the appointment, I was expecting all of it to be covered by insurance since my husband was able to go in and didnt have to pay anything and got a pair of glasses, but I was charged $70 for a contact exam, I wasnt aware it was extra, I ended up walking out with no glasses and no contacts and minus $70!!! When I went in to try out a different pair of contacts to see which ones to order, they said that they would have to write a new prescription and I would have to wait because the doctor was busy, so I left empty handed again, and they still havent called yet so Ive been wearing my old prescription glasses for the past few days! This is not how a business should run, they really made as little effort as possible, I will not be going there for my next visit!

My daughter went in for eye exam as she needs new contacts. Was told they billed insurance & she would need 55.00. Well, there is no insurance billing & she walked out with a receipt for 155.00. When I called to find out what the heck happened. They said the eye exam is 99.00 & the separate eye exam for contacts is 55.00 & that had they billed the insurance they would of charged an extra 20.00!! Now Im billing my insurance myself, they pay a very reasonable fee for exam of 60.00. Its beyond me that you would charge $155.00 for two (2) separate eye exams ! It would be reasonable to think that if you are being asked to examine for contacts or glasses that you wouldnt stick it to the clients with such a ridiculous charge. If you go you need to ask ALL the right questions up front because what your told prior to the appointment & what you actually get charged are very different.

I had a great experience at Summit Eye Care. I have really bad eye sight so good eye care is important to me. They were helpful and the lady at the front desk was nice!

Best place in Pocatello for eye care! The doctor is super nice and everyone there is very helpful.

Dr. Borgholthaus in Pocatello is great, he is very knowledgeable and personable. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff as well. I will definitely be back!
