Weve had items in storage here for a couple of years. Its been a good experience.Very clean, orderly and well managed. Appears to be well secured. There a large sliding heavy duty gate securing the entry/exit perimeter.A note to those who dont know (we just found out last month), the exit keypad is next to the building. This is a stand alone keypad that allows you to enter your security code from inside the gate. The way we had been making our exit was to walk out of the pedestrian gate and enter our code on the entrance keypad.Hopefully that makes sense, and essentially, it allows you make a seemless exit without having to exit your vehicle.Overall a good and safe place to handle your storage needs.

I had a great experience storing here! My storage unit was clean as well as the facility, and was a very reasonable price. I really loved how secure and safe the entire facility was, with an individual code for the gate for each unit, and if the unit is opened without the corresponding gate code an alarm sounds. I felt comfortable storing my stuff here, and the employees were always very kind. Will definitely store with them again!

I like this place! The staff, Martin and Vanessa, are very nice and helpful. The facility is very clean and well-organized, and the storage units are very accessible by car or truck. I like the keyless entry to open and close the entrance gate. Just remember: if you need something from the front office (supplies, or to talk to staff directly) that they take a lunch break from 12pm to 1pm (I think).

Route 66 Self Storage in Pomona which is now ran by a management company Cube Smart. I have to honestly say the office staff that works on site in Pomona is Fantastic! I absolutely loved it BUT once the management company CubeSmart took over for the owner IT SUCKS!!! Was SO MUCH BETTER when the OWNER RAN IT HIMSELF WITH HIS OFFICE STAFF!! I wish the Owner would get rid of the management company CubeSmart and go back to running it himself with an office staff!!

My wife and I use this facility for 3 1/2 years during the process of us traveling between America and China,The staff was nothing short of spectacular in the process of going from Route 66 store in Stu CubeSmart and management they didn’t lose any professionalism at all and I had to communicate with him several times from China due to some payment issues because of China’s Internet service and even the customer service reps that I spoke to were very helpful give me some advice so I would not lose my storage and make it easier for me to pay while I was an out of country. Every time that I’ve visited several times during the 3 1/2 years people were so helpful and friendly and excited that I was there to either move more into storage or take some things out of storage every time you talk to someone they’re so friendly and professional I just wanna let everyone know that you will have outstanding customer service and high-quality security. you can have a worry free mindset about leaving your personal belongings with this company well done and thank you for everything you know I will be back if I need your services again.

The process was quick and very friendly staff. The site is very clean. Super secure. And climate controlled. The only thing i was not expecting to have to pay additional $12 month for insurance also you may not use your own lock. And must get one from them. Although the total on line was about 24.95 when i got there it ended up more like $60 That should have been disclosed online when making the reservation. A nice feature is that they are open not the office but access until 10 P.M.

Okay, so before going to ROUTE 66 SELF STORAGE..it was a hassle finding the right storage..which I didnt think would be so hard... drove all over town looking for the right storage.. the storage I had before ROUTE 66 my storage was broken into..and it was a fairly new storage place. (Public storage on arrow in montclair) I totally believe it was an inside job...that reason for my search for a new storage...so security was important for me on finding the right storage place. Before heading over to ROUTE 66 STORAGE I called and spoke with Vanessa..she was super nice and friendly and was super patient with all my questions I had. LOVE HER! So once I arrived at ROUTE 66 I also met Martin.. he was super cool and ensured me my storage would be safe..he explain the security and all the cameras on the grounds. I totally recommend this storage place..Ive had no issues. Oh fyi sign with quick pay through your banking app..makes things easier when you have to pay your bill.

How many people potentially underestimate how much stuff they have? I was one of those people. When I got to my storage unit, it was too small. The local manager quickly set me up with another unit that was larger. However, he later informed me that Cube Smarts policy is not to pro rate their units. In other words, they were going to charge me for a full month for having my stuff in the smaller unit for just one week! What...why?Since I was upgrading to a larger unit, Cube Smart was now going to get more money out of me in addition to reoccuring revenue, so why wouldnt they just prorate the unit? Every which way, corporate america is trying to sock it to us consumers. I had to call and complain to fight for what is right. They ended up prorating my unit; something that should have been done originally.

I have had my personal items here for so long its hard to remember when I moved in! Thank you for the accessibility. Your hours have been forever convenient.

I cannot say enough good things about the service and staff of Route 66. There is a truck available for move-in, and Sean and Donald actually loaded items (I had thought they just waited in the truck).The facility is so clean, and everyone is quite helpful.This is our second time needing a storage facility, and I returned to Route 66 without hesitation. There are move-in specials, drawings, and...even a free t-shirt... but the way in which you are treated instills confidence in storing your belongings with Route 66.

I was pleasantly surprised with Route 66 Storage! Friendly workers! I was able to walk-in and get my unit reserved without having to pay right away. They provided the forms I would need to file out and said I could bring them back when Im ready to move in. They were able to book me a UHaul rental! The day I moved in I picked up the truck and paid for my unit all at once. I came back to the facility and my unit was open ready to move into. Dropped off my belongings and truck. This Storage Facility is great, clean, large and centrally located. Martin is Amazing, knowledgeable, courteous and super professional. He was so helpful and patient while showing me several units and explaining how to store certain collectable items I have and helped me with sizing, what I need to store and not rushing me out of the place or trying to close a deal quickly. Other places I have been to just want to upsell me and treat me as a cashpot but he wasnt like that. The other staff there was courteous and the office was clean and spacious. I will definitely be recommending this location to others make sure you ask for Martin!

Been with his company storing my things for over four years and now the new owners come in at the beginning of the year tasked over and immediately raise the storage fees, no improvement and nothing just raise the rent. Then I went in to down grade us from the largest storage unit to the next size and told this guy who I was and who my daughter was who got the storage for us since I am disabled couldnt come in when the actual first move took place he understood what I was saying if he had a problem never asked to speak to my daughter but got the whole story from me and was to happy to assist me. He gave me a new unit pro-rated it since I came in early on the 6th of the month and told me I had plenty of time didnt need to rush. My two youngest son started the move on April 19th, and and the rest of my children and son-in-law came that Saturday to finish the job and in two days he locked the storage no notice now, and my youngest son talked to him to get the dolly from him abs he said not one word then! He dredged up some story about he thought I wanted to get my stuff out of the storage not my daughter who rented it, but I explained to him that it was initially our storage with my stuff in it and we wanted to down grade to the next level, and he had the nerve to say well the storage fees were late and we had to pay an additional $335.00 to get in the old storage to move into the new one. This man lied so bad and made no sense, why would I ask to down grade to a smaller storage from the old one and he said nothing about the payment then and why would he since I came in on time to exchange and he pro-rated the fees from the old storage? His lies kept getting so outrageous even the other employee did several takes turning his head looking at him. We were so outdone I cried so because I knew I didnt do anything wrong I explained wpwverything to this guy and he twisted it the way he wanted because of greed, bottom line. Boy, money is the root of all evil! These people care nothing about the patrons who have been there for years and they hold no credibility to me and apparently to many others who were moving out Saturday and on Thursday when we first got there. I talked to others who said the same thing, why are they going up and as down as they take over, nothing done fir any improvements at all for the customers? I am moving out too, I cannot stand to look into the face of liars, who knew exactly what I said to him on the 6th and I know what he told me too, laughing in my face only to cut my throat. We had to turn around to pay another fee almost $300 dollars for a unit we thought we closed out of God the new unit. They have no customer service good communupication or used the opportunity to take more money by lying. I was dick that day and got even more sick to my stomach facing such a liar. But I believe in God who sees it all, and He will be the One to repay me and my young daughter only 25 years old, and these people, God will show His mighty hands too for the ball face lies and deceitful, and underhand act. High way robbery and lies to get more money out people who trust them with their stuff, never had a problem before, paying never been a problem. No good ratings from us.
