My first time visiting a LensCrafters and I will definitely be back. I was greeted immediately by several employees, got right in to see the doctor. Dr. King was professional and thorough. She explained the changes in my prescription and answered my questions completely. Robbie helped me select new lenses, making the process super quick and easy. It was great experience.
The Drs are great...the facility not so much.. they have no bathrooms for patients, they send you to the subway bathrooms next door.. to me that is unacceptable.. Drs appointments usually take couple hours, and not having bathrooms when you dropping about $500... thats crazy!!

I remember my first time coming here like two years ago and I absolutely loved my experience so I decided to always come back to Dr Verblow. I started off wearing glasses then eventually switch to contacts and it took me forever to learn how to put them in but they were so patient with me! I’ve been coming here ever since for all my eye exams and everything ❤️

Dr. Francine Verblow is great! I felt like she covered every aspect of my eyes health. The optical staff was very courteous and helpful. Renaldo was able to help me get exactly what I needed for a very good price. Highly recommend!
The lab equipment failed, so the lab tech, Jeannette, personally took my order to another store to process so I would have them before leaving the next day for an extended trip - best customer service I have received in a long time!!!

Not very happy with the customer experience at this location (Pompano Beach). While I was trying to get a replacement with the eyewear protection plan, the level of customer service was far away from satisfactory. His responses were always negative and with a lack of empathy. I decided to go to another store instead to find answers, solutions and appreciation for my business.

Ive been visiting this location for the past 4 years or so without an issue. this review is how one employee can single-handedly ruin a business and customer relationship. After my eye exam, I picked up lenses and frames on December 31st. At that time, I also purchased a pair of sunglasses. Between December 31 and December 9th, I visited the store 3x to have my progressives adjusted. On December 9th, they finally agreed with me that my prescription may not correct and would schedule me for a re-check. The Dr was apparently to busy to squeeze me in that day so i scheduled for December 14th. After leaving work early this evening, and upon pulling into the parking lot (17 minutes prior to my appt) I received a call from Jennifer advising my appointment would need to be rescheduled due to an emergency. I began to express, as most would, the displeasure of this inconvenience. Rather than Jennifer taking a moment to empathize and listen to the customers concerns about the inconvenience caused, I received an attitude about how everyone has emergencies. Jennifer is correct. However, its how you handle that emergency. If Jennifer had take a few moments to listen to the customer and empathize rather than taking the situation personally, the store and the Dr. would not have just lost a customer/patient. I work very hard for my money and spend my money wisely at establishments that value my patronage. Jennifer clearly did not display this. As a result I returned both pairs of glasses this evening; causing me to also lose my 2020 vision plan benefits. While this ultimately causes me a greater inconvenience and loss, I truly do believe in spending my hard earned money where Im valued as a customer.If not for my sales person, Rozanna, I would have given 1 star. Rozanna is great and understands the importance of service. Jennifer could learn much from her.
I ordered two pairs of glasses on the 1st after my eye exam. At first they told me the signs of 50% off your 2nd pair didnt apply because the promotion was over. I fought that then it was it didnt apply because my insurance was covering most of 1 pair. I finally places the order, the lab is right in the store yet they told me a few days to have them made. They called 5 days later 1 pair is ready, the 2nd one not until the 14 or 15th.14 days to make a pair of glasses? When I call, to check the status they tell me just pick up 1 pair and theyll call about 2nd.This is such a horrible store. Never do business with them.LarryTo clarify. Everyone was fantastic. The staff was very friendly and constantly wiping down with sanitizers. After using their pen...it was sanitized! Great place.
Everyone here is amazing. When I walk in everyone is ready to help and very friendly. I had issues with my glasses fitting and Edna & lab tech did everything to help get them on right. Will continue to make the drive

My exam with Dr. Verblow went excellently. Shes very knowledgeable and caring. While this is my first exam with her I plan to stay with her for my future eye exams. With the exam we found out that I didnt really need lenses for astigmatism and that my previous prescription was too high. Thanks, Dr. Verblow. Your thoroughness is greatly appreciated.As for the sales staff, Joanna and Claudia were very professional and caring. Cant wait for my new glasses and contact lenses.
Super pleased with the person who helped me this weekend. She was patient, helpful and able to do the things I was inquiring about that the Bradenton Lenscrafter store told me were not possible. Go figure!
Location called three times to confirm the appointment and never once told us no bathroom would be available. My 6 year old son and I both have our exams, and pay the 150 dollars. Then we find glasses and contacts and are close to paying. We have been there 1.5 hours at this point. My 6 year old son said he needed to use the restroom. We were declined and told to go to JCPenney which is a 5-10 minute walk. Thankfully Subway let us use there restroom before my son had an accident. Your location should not be open if you cannot provide a restroom due to Covid and at the minimum you need to let people know as I would have never come to an appointment with my child if I knew you wouldn’t let us go to the bathroom.

I had my eye exam on August 6, 2018 with Dr. D. King. I ordered glasses based on the RX given by the doctor. I could not see so went back for a second exam and the same doctor gave me totally different RX for my eyes. I reordered the glasses and they are not correct. The person is not a doctor and does not know how to examine an eye... I paid for the service and glasses. The store does not do anything since it is a doctor who is at fault. But the doctor in in their store and they send me to that doctor when I made an appointment with them. Do not use this store. Horrible service. It has been almost 3 months I am still using my old glasses... They are not fixing this problem.*As of November 28, 2018 nothing has changed... They are keep ignoring my situation. Terrible experience! I had used Lens crafters in the past and was very happy. So when I needed new glasses I wanted to use them again. I really wanted and needed them as soon as possible so I picked a location that made the glasses right on site (even know it was not near my house). My husband called on a Saturday to see if we came in that day if I would be able to get them within a couple of hours. They told him in most cases yes. So we arrived at 430 ( the store closed at 8 or 9). I was helped by Jose who was very nice and I was able to pick out frames. I asked him if they would be done that evening. He told be no but I could pick them up the next day at 2. No problem. So the next day I arrived between 230 and 3. I had to wait a while because they were very busy. By the time I was helped I was informed my glasses were not done and that they had not even been started. I asked why I was not called so I didn’t waste my time. The young lady ( who was also very nice) told me that Jose never put down a pick up time so they were unaware that I was coming. They let me know that they would not be done until at least 430. This was a huge inconvenience. I’m a busy working mom and my time is limited. As much as I appreciated everyone at this location being nice I would have appreciated it more if Jose and Lens Crafters would have valued you my time a little more.

Wow....and I mean WOW. I could describe in specific detail what happened to me and my teenage son one hour ago at our first time at LensCrafters but here is what YOU, the consumer need to know.1) Dr Verblow is amazing. By far the best most thorough exam one can get and I will have to hold my breath to walk in there for future visits but for her, it is worth it.2) As for LensCrafters itself...suffice to say, they run a complete scam. The details are too long, just trust me. They are as real as a $3 bill and thats really all you need to notate. Shop and buy at your own peril.
I went to lens crafters for myself and my 2 kids and our experience was totally awesome. Dr. Francine Verblow was hands down one of the best eye doctors we have ever been to. She was very detailed in her explaination and I appreciate her taking time to explain things to me.Edit: but I guess after you make a purchase and something happens to the glasses (like it breaks) then the whole tone in the voice changes and then there is nothing they can do. No one offered or mentioned any $34.99 warranty But she sure made sure that $40 blue light special was added to price of the glasses. I wad told to call back of sat to speak to a manager cause there is nothing she can do. So lets see.
I am afraid they are engaging in this practice of extra testing without letting customers know. I went there this afternoon and was charged $49, was not given a detailed receipt, just the credit card slip. On the same day, my wife went to LensCrafters at the sawgrass mall where she was charged $10, she was offered extra services that she declined and everything was fine. In my case nobody ever told me if they were going to be doing any extra testing, when I got home my wife and I spoke and realize I had been taken for a ride.
I just picked up new glasses today (4/3) and the associate who helped me was very kind. She made sure the glasses fit and did so in a warm and profession manner. The glasses are great too.

I went in for the first time today to get an eye exam and had a wonderful experience. I was greeted with a smile immediately when I walked in and asked how I could be helped. The gentlemen told me who to talk to so that I could check in and was very friendly and inviting. The girl at the front desk was also very nice and helpful. She did the initial tests on my eyes before seeing the doctor and was very pleasant. Dr. Larkin could not have been more amazing. She was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable about the eye problem I was having. She explained everything clearly and told me what I can do to keep my eyes looking and feeling great. I ended up going back to see the gentleman from earlier whos name is Derwin. He helped me pick out sunglasses and could not have made the experience easier. I am extremely happy with the customer service, the exam and the purchase of sunglasses. I read the negative reviews and really wondered if they could be that bad. They are completely the opposite. Maybe things have changed recently, I am not sure but I would highly recommend this location. I experienced no attitude from anyone. It was a very pleasant and comfortable experience. I look forward to going back and getting my new glasses when they are ready!

Recently I went to the pompano beach LensCrafters. My RayBan sunglass lens fell out and I couldnt get it in place. The saleswoman graciously took my glasses and replaced the lens. She wouldnt take payment for the repair. I certainly will return to this store if and when I need new glasses. Thank you LensCrafters
My insurance company required additional information from Lens Crafters that this branch refused to supply. My past Lens Crafters had no problem and was more than happy to assist a loyal customer.Furthermore when I asked for Managers full name I was told that she had rights to her name and 1. was choosing not to tell me 2. Lens Crafters corporate policy states she does not have to give customer her full name.As a customer who spends well over $3,000.00 a year with Lens Crafters I am appalled at such customer service. I will be calling Corporate Headquarters in Mason Ohio tomorrow. Be interesting to see what they say about customer service and corporate policy.PS. I have been on hold for over 20 minutes. You know what that means right? She is purposely blowing me off so I going to let it ring to at least get some satisfaction.
Dr. Verblow is AWESOME here. By far the best eye doctor Ive ever had. Attentive, short wait time, and very knowledgable. I highly recommend her. Receptionist is nice too, although the sales guys can be a little overeager. If you need an eye doctor definitely go here!!
I asked them if they could repair my glasses. Easy fix.. They said no my glasses are custom and they dont carry the peice to fix them....I found an old pair of my fathers glasses completely differnt sized glasses and took a piece from his and repaired my glasses alone barely able to see....LensCrafters wanted me to get. New glasses....wow I was in need and they tried to squeeze me for cash...cash that I need to Eat!
To start with the eye doctor at this location is everything!!! She is so awesome and very professional with customer service beyond great.However; the eye center where your supposed to have a great experience picking out frames and etc...well the lady with the Jamaican accent is so passive aggressive.Ive been wearing glasses for 15 years and have always literally gone to Vision Works but because I had a Sterile Cornea in my right eye it was an emergency for me to get to the nearest eye center to be able to remove my contact lenses and purchase glasses.To my surprise Ive never seen frames get handled the way this lady did. I lost count on how many times she threw my glasses down on the table as if it was a sheet of paper.I mentioned to her at one point I no longer wanted to continue the purchase because of the way she handled my frames and she proceeded to say they are just frames, they wont break.Mentally I was flustered after getting home because I could not deal with the fact that I now had to keep a pair of frames that were so roughly handled.It was no big deal to her but when my frames start to scratch and loose its covering LensCrafters will not be willing to replace them nor will my insurance.This was a crazy experience and I pray they get her some better training.

Eye Exam by very professional doctor Francine Verblow.However, when I went to check out they attempted to charge me $30 for the exam and $39 for the eye scan image that they said were not covered by my very good coverage. Prior to the exam I called to ensure that my insurance would cover the eye exam. There were no charges the previous year by another doctor. They conceded the $30 charge but charged me the $39. Next year I will go back to my original doctor.
I went into lens crafter location in the Pompano Citi center and was treated very poorly. I spoke with the women in the red and white stripped shirt and asked for my prescription from the last time I was there and I also asked for her to measure my face so that I could be fitted for other glasses and she gave me a dirty look. I wanted just the frames not so much a prescription pair. I then proceeded to ask two more times upon which she gave more dirty looks and would not measure my face. When I called earlier, the women that answered said that I could get it done. I would NOT recommend this lens crafters to anyone.
Customer Service is terrible. Waited over two weeks for glasses to come in and found out why when I put them...The lens was scratched. And the techs there need to brush up on their people skills....Keep your money people go somewhere else...

Worst LensCrafters ever. Whoever wrote the positive reviews must be from the coworkers. I went in for an eye exam with my sister and when I went the lady who takes you in for the exam was making obnoxious comments and giving attitude and acting extremely unprofessional. I was even shocked and made a comment about how we are at a professional work environment this isnt a play ground, she told me to get out after I pointed out how unprofessional she was behaving . Called corporation for the lack of respect and behavior amongst the employees. Everyone is passive aggressive and get angry if u ask for eye adjustments. Stay behind all LensCrafters locations because they dont care about you or your eye health! Sad sad sad!!!

The staff at this location were the most disrespectful and rude of ANY business ive ever had the unfortunate experience of entering. It is no exaggeration when i say the two women who we were forced to have a conversation with were both insulting and trashy! Im sorry but theres no other adjectives i could use to describe our experience that could explain their behavior and remarks as we left. I,not only would never refer anyone there,but Ive told everyone Ive worked with and know about how we were treated.I was so shocked and still am these women were all but threatening and i cannot believe anyone would see past their rudeness enough to rate this place of business in any words but horrible! I will never step foot near the doorway of that part of the mall again. It was THAT bad!
I went in for a regular check up/ eye exam... the first thing I asked when I showed up was if everything was included with my $5 copay- since I have insurance, and they confirmed yes. They passed me around from machine to machine and did extra testing and retinal scans that I ask ahead of time if it was included copay with my insurance and they said yes. Next thing I knew they said my total was $65, I said that cant be correct and they confirmed that they did the extra testing and that was my bill whether I paid it or not.

Eye exam and lenses made and mounted in under an hour. Unlike Target optical which took effect weeks for the lenses to be ready.
